Anyone play 13th age?

(For those of you who don't know, 13th age is a new (just out at GenCon and in PDF) pen and paper RPG created by some of the minds behind 3E and 4E, but it has a lot of great ideas, and makes your character feel a lot more powerful and special then "Just another fighter" or "Just another wizard". I've seen it described as "If 3E was New York and 4E was LA, 13th age leaves New York and gets halfway to LA and then takes a turn north and heads up to canada by the back roads)

One neat thing is the escalation die, it starts in round 2 (at a +1) and each turn advances up to +6.. it provides bonuses to the players rolls (and also can have mechanical affects, for example, Barbarians can rage for free when the escalation die is 4+)

Figure a game like that deserves some sexy adventurers defeating evil (and having tons of fun with each other and the grateful locals)
