Capped-sleeve empire-waist knee-length dress in a white-on-black toile-esque pattern. The bottom 5 inches are gathered for a faintly ruffled flare, and while the neckline is deep vee, it is elastic enough to be worn off the shoulder. I'm wearing a long thread-light short sleeved cardigan over it in shades of gold and green, with an uneven hem long enough to brush my calves below the hem of the dress.

It screams out to be belted, but I eschewed it today. I also eschewed shoes.
