I absolutely love this idea.

Because video-cameras aren't allowed in the supreme court of the USA but audio recordings are made available, John Oliver from Last Week Tonight produced a set of stock videos of dogs dressed up as the supreme court justices operated by puppeteers for people to edit together and make videos of supreme court cases. Some people on youtube have taken up the challenge.

It makes something that's rather dry but also incredibly interesting much easier to watch. As someone with a bit of an attention deficit condition, I found this really made it very easy for me to engage with the cases and get a real appreciation for the role of the U.S. supreme court. For anyone interested in learning about this branch of the government but who hasn't been able to get involved before, I recommend giving them a try. For anyone else who just likes looking at cute puppies and having a laugh it might also be worth a watch.
