Tenka'ichi High School (Intrest check) (need females)

The year is 3115, The human race has managed to colonize several planets in several galaxies and this has led to war once again. Human colonies have returned to the home planet with bombs and guns and so far Earth has managed to remain at the top, but only due to larger numbers. As such the Earth High Council begins to formulate several schools dedicated to training skilled assassins, solders, and any other warriors they may need for a war against the colonists. One of these schools known as Tenka'ichi High School accepts only exceptional hand to hand combat specialists who display unique abilities pertaining to hand to hand combat.

You are one of the lucky students accepted into the private school and as such it is your job to pass the final exam and be commissioned as a hand to hand specialist in the military. However rumors have spread that a colonist has infiltrated the school, so keep your eyes open...



The idea behind this game is that each student must challenge and battle another student at least once a day.
Battles continue until an opponent is knocked out, first blood is drawn, or a forfeit is called.
In rare cases a Tie may be called, in which case a tie breaker match may be issued.
Before the rp begins people should chose a partner based on there own sexual orientation and your character's gender as it is expected that the partners engage in sexual activity during relaxation hours.
Partners are the only ones allowed to come to a person's aid in battle and sexual favors from yourself or your partners can be issued as a prize to entice a challenge.
Nearing the end of the school year a teacher will issue a challenge to a student they deem worthy of progressing and if the student manages a knock out or drawing first blood he will be allowed to issue challenge to the headmaster.
Should the Headmaster be defeated the student is allowed to graduate and be sent to the front lines as a Melee specialist.
There are some rules to be upheld in the walls of the school and should a rule be broken punishment usually consists of endurance training until the delinquent party is unable to move.
Characters begin with three techniques (Kamehameha for example, but try to be original and stay away from Dragon Ball based attacks and such). More Techniques can be mastered through class.

Also interested in hand to hand combat. I do have a couple questions however. How would you deal with completely different builds, like a thin, frail looking girl versus a very muscular person? Also, how will the combat be done, I'm assuming freeform, and someone must always be willing to have their character lose?

PM's will be used to discuss the turn out of a battle after a set amount of posts for that battle, allowing for free form battle and fair win's/losses, if need be a dice roll will be used. I will be making come NPC's that can be challenged as well and may ask for some help on maintaining NPC battles.

It should also be noted that I will allow for a total of ten people including myself.

Or alternatively, you might just simply make it best 2 out of 3 on a dice roll off.  More fun that way.

I'm not entirely fond of systems myself, but I have seen how quickly a free form game like this dies without proper structure... I like the idea of a best two out of three dice roll to determine a winner, but only after a certain amount of posts. how does that sound to everyone?

It might be a lot of work for you, but a GM could be a "ref" so to speak and ever like 4 posts (2 each) he could award a point, with 1st to 3 points wins.


But I like dice also.

Yeah, I might have a long descrition on how i do this ninja roll backwards up a tree all the while throwing kukri's and my opponent might dodge all of them and sweep my leg as I land.  The ref might call it a point to my opponent because They made contact were I jlust blitzed

Shouldn't the ref give victory to whoever they think made the best effort, and not just count the number of hit or the length of each action? Kinda like a real MMA fight where none of the opponents get knocked out before the end of the rounds.

Points are awarded by the ref for a creative way of solving a difficult fighting situation or creating one. 

Just an Idea also, the ring could be "charged" that once you get your three points the opponent is zapped, restrained to their knees to be "finished" (not necessarily killed, but i can see some fun in it)

Just a few ideas. I hope you don't mind and I can shut up at any time.  Im all about keeping it simple, lots of the systems have to many rules and variables.  This is almost like baseball, The umpire has the final say, no matter what.
