I got a soft spot for the day, as I'm sure folks in other countries have for their equivalent (I know of Canada day and Bastille day.(does that one count France?) So folks share your homelands 'day' with me.

Happy Independence Day to all of us in the States and all the American's elsewhere this time of year!

Callie, thank you for that video, it's lovely and a shame that something as time honored as the pledge fell in the name of being politically correct.
