Aether

Is there room for more in this little fascinating test of your rules systems?

Leonis

Of course! Just sign up and write yourself into the RPG!

Aether

Name:            Marcus
Gender:         Male
Occupation:   Machinist
Height:          6 foot 2 inches tall
Weight:         215 pounds

Appearance:  He is pretty non descript with his long tawny golden brown hair and matching eyes being about the most remarkable thing about him.  He is lean for his height, muscular from moving around sheet steel.

Background:  He is very strong and quick and likes making swords as kind of a hobby.  He is also pretty good at using them.  He strives to perfect the perfect vibrosword and reintroduce the old archaic weapons with new and revitalized brutality into the world at large.

Strength:       20
Dexterity:       22
Wisdom:        10
Constitution: 15

Weapon:  Big two handed vibro sword?
Armor:      Some sort of kevlar suit?
Item:        Not a clue here.
Skill:         Something to do with being able to get in close to something and use that sword.

Let's see, Marcus' derived stats would be:

HP: 79
TP: 12
Attack: 23
Defense: 17
Resistance: 11
Weapon: Vibrosword (+3 ATK)
Armor: Kevlar Suit (+2 DEF, +1 RES)
Other: Bandana (+1% Crit. Rate)
Inventory:
Bandages: Restores 250 HP
Tech Drink: Restores 30 TP
Coolant: Removes "Burning" status

Techs
Triple Slash: Strikes an enemy three times in a row. Each strike is slightly less powerful than a standard attack. (DMG=ATK*(LV^0.4)*3; TP Cost: 4)

Now, any latecomers to the RP should have their starting levels match the current levels of the party. Right now that would be level 2, so Marcus gets 7 more points to distribute among his 4 main stats, and it has to be at least one point per stat.

I'll be basing the stats of future equipment on your characters' stats. If you have a high Strength score, for instance, you'll be getting weapons with a higher Attack score. The difference between the high and low stats will become more pronounced at higher levels.
