Is there any way to change the color or the formatting of the text in the spoiler tag title -- color, bold, italics?

Or any way to change the color of the spoiler tag bar itself?

I tried to come up with a way to allow this but it's pretty far into the 'non-trivial' side of things.

It might be possible to do with a multi-level equivalent of the spoiler tag, working something like tables and lists do.

yep! but only for yourself and no one else.

wait a minute... the
function has other attributes associated with it?

You could create tags called spoiler2, spoiler3 etc with different formatting.

Then people could use the different tag name to format their spoilers differently if they want a variation on the standard spoiler type?
