Out on a Limb RP Ideas

So, anyone know who Stephanie Plum is?  Inept, but oddly successful bounty hunter?  New Jersey?  Created by Janet Evanovich?

Well, I don't want to play a Stephanie Plum story out.  But, along those lines I was thinking that My Character could be:

• Inept bonds enforcer out to bring back some bad-ass (either your Character or an NPC and your character could be a competing bondsman
• A girl with revenge in her heart.  And, your character could be someone she runs across who finds her amusing, possibly attractive, and tries to help.
  
• Unemployed secretary who goes on a job interview and somehow gets hired to work in a private investigations office with your character (or some other job where it would be rife with craziness, fun, and trouble)

Your character could be any of the above, or something different, if you like.  Nothing's set in stone, that's for certain.

My characters tend to be strong, yet slightly off-center women who generally have some flaw that may keep them from being perfectly accepted in "polite/normal society," whatever the hell that is!  Check my posts, see if you like my style.  Maybe we could write together and have some fun.

Another little idea.

It all Stays There, Right?

It's convention time in Las Vegas.  Private Investigators, Dentists, Massage Therapists, Peace Officers, Tattoo Artists...  A varied group of professions have chosen the same week to have their professional conference in Las Vegas.

My character and your character run into each other in the hotel elevator (or bar, or one of the many restaurants...somewhere).  My character is with another man who is young enough to be her boyfriend, but is in fact her employer.  There is an attraction between your character and mine (maybe physical, or perhaps there was an interaction and they exchanged words), but no one does anything.  But, then it seems every time you turn around, you're running into her.

I'm thinking this could be a good time to ping some conversation off of each other, and have it all building up to a connection.  I was thinking my character would work hotel security, so would be all over the hotel/casino.  If this interests you, drop me a PM.

A new idea.

My Character...
She is a witch, a magic user/healer.  The thing is, she doesn't know it.  She's twenty years old and suddenly odd things begin to happen, like she understands the rabbit on the trail...  or, she maybe makes up a song as she's baking something and whoever eats the baked goods feels whatever the song (aka spell) suggests. 

Out there in the world, they feel her.  Her magic is sensed and there are those who would like to use her for evil and there are those who would like to protect her and bring her into the magical fold, as it were.  Clueless, she goes on about her life until something happens that she cannot ignore.  (Either she protects herself with magic that cannot be denied.  Or, her magic manifests in a way that she can see it...glowing hands, a spark of lightning from her fingertips...) 

Your character
I was thinking that there would probably be a lot of NPCs to be played by you and I.  However, your main character would either be one of the want-to-protect or the hunt-for-their-gain crew.  That's up to you, of course.  They can have magic, or not.

I'm going back and forth as to setting.  I envision something medieval, or an altered modern day...  That can be worked out if you have an interest.

I read a Stephanie Plum book years ago, like, years ago. I don't remember much except I thought it was a lot of fun and I'd be really interested in hashing out some ideas with you. Perhaps you're tasked with bringing my character in only to capture him and receive notice on a higher priority target that my character knows very well, this way they have to work together?

Just an idea to open up a dialogue :)
