Looking for a Star Wars or D&D game to join.

   I'm looking for either a Star Wars or D&D game to join. I am a veteran player of Star Wars all the way back to the Old WEG version and D20. I haven't tried the Saga edition yet, but am willing to lean as I go. same goes for D&D I have been playing D&D since just before 2E came out, but have yet to try 4.0 -again willing to learn.

   Since this is elliquiy at least some erotic contest is desired, but not necasarily looking so a sex fest. I'd also be interested in another game system if the story/game sounds good. I have played just about every system at least once or twice.

Wow, I used to play the WEG Star Wars back in the day...haven't thought about that in a while!  I would love to get a Star Wars game started, whatever system it might be.

I'm running Star Wars currently, and when I finish the current story line there might or migth not be openings.  it'll be intresting to see if I can get my pace back up to where it was before my current moving ordeal messed with all my games  *sighes* 

Anyways.  If someone decides to run a game of Star Wars, i'd have fun playing, if the pace is compatible.

  I am hoping to play in one, but since there seems to be some interest I might be willing to run one. Would be awesome to run it with WEG. If I do decide to run one I'm thinking either setting it in the KOTOR time line or The Legacy of the Force era.

(I have the old WEG stuff around somewhere, and I remember it fondly, but the Saga Edition isn't as bad as I'd feared.  I'd rather play it than, say, d20 Future...)

 Unfortunately my Saga Edition rulebook was in PDF from and is stuck on the remains of my old hard drive. If I can successfully retrieve it I will consider Saga though, I haven't even played in that edition yet, let alone GM it. It looks pretty close to d20 Modern which I experience with and from what I saw/heard it is pretty good. However, I think WEG would be my choice, with a few house rules to keep Jedi in check.

I don't have any of my WEG books any longer.  :'(

I only have the original 3e Star Wars book... which can easily be upconverted to 3.5e.

Any which way, I'd much prefer d20 over WEG, simply as Jedi/Sith and Force Users in general were seriously OP in WEG's version of Star Wars. I'd play a Jedi, probably... but I don't want to be absurdly overpowered.

Actually I have a small modificiation to WEG for Jedi and force powers. I have used it several times in real life games and it worked great. It is similar to the way the Saga rules work. It actually doesn't matter too much about he system as I tend to go mostly free form except for combat and otehr times when you have to know exactly how an action turns out.

  Okay I've decided to go with WEG rules. I will be using modified rules for the use of force powers. If you need help or have questions just PM me. 18dice for attributes keeping in mind species min/maxes. 7 dice for skills. i will be posting some links for useful sites if I can find them....been awhile since i checked the site.

  I'm willing to allow pretty much anything. If you need stats we can work together to make them. A Witch of Dathomir might work, but I'd check out the link I Posted first and maybe a few of the sub links. with the Sith Empire running around and Jedi it would be a dangerous time for a witch to be out and about.

Let me see if I can find it for you but there was a website up not too long ago where they were posting anything ever published for the WEG Star Wars game.  They had all the alien species and everything.

  I was looking for it too, but can't seem to find it. Swrpgnetwork used to have it, but I couldn't find the stats there anymore either.

  Most of my WEG stuff disappeared, but I know the system well enough to run it without books. If not for the special abilities of some of the species we wouldn't even need books. I'll be posting a list of the skills that I can remember off the top of my head in the next day or two as well as my custom force rules.
