Corinthi

How would you feel about an Ultimates version of Hellion (Julian Keller)? As far as I can tell, he's not turned up in the Ultimate Universe.

Hellion's an arrogant, entitled mutant with a serious superiority complex. He's got the standard mutant Telekinetic suite of powers. Telekinesis, flight, force fields, and kinetic energy blastiness. Seems like a flying blaster could round out the group a bit, and with the Telekinesis, he could help serve as rapid transit for the non speedsters.

Biography
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Julian Keller has always been a black sheep and a bit of an embarrassment to his hard working parents. He was born with both a silver spoon, and a chip on his shoulder and takes pride in being kicked out of some of the best private schools money can buy. His attitude was made worse by his powerful mutant ability, which his parents begged him to conceal. He refused, claiming that it was bullshit that he should try to pretend to be fucking normal when he was so much more. So, his parents sent him to Emma Frost, hoping that she could teach Hellion some discretion.

Well, that was a big, fat, failure.

After being cast out by Emma, Julian was basically turned lose to do what he would. His father hoped that he'd burn out those wild oats and learn a bit of maturity. He didn't. In fact, it seemed as though Julian had a neverending stream of wild oats, and was seen spending time with some of the most notorious starlets Hollywood had to offer. His antics were some of the most popular clips TMZ had to offer.

All that changed when the Tsunami hit Manhattan. Julian was in Boston when he heard the news and flew straight to New York, flying faster that he'd ever managed before and leaving sonic booms in his wake, but it was too late. His parents, along with millions of others, were dead. He found their waterlogged bodies still holding each other. For once in his life, he didn't throw a tantrum. Oh, he wanted to. With tears blurring his vision he wanted to break the world in half so everyone could feel the pain in his heart. But in a rare moment of self realization, he realized that people did already know. So many people were dead or missing that the world knew the pain of this moment. And maybe, if he was lucky, he could rescue others and spare their loved ones.

The rescue effort was equal parts jubilation and heartbreak. He threw in with the XMen and other superhumans to work search and rescue, using his telekinesis to clear rubble shore up damaged structures. A lifetime of training to one day take over the family business came in handy, for while he couldn't triage the wounded, his understanding of structures came in very handy. Where many people had lost their lives that day, Hellion was reborn. For the first time in his life, he saw past his own petty concerns and took stock of something larger than himself.

The Keller Construction board was very surprised when Julian didn't just sell the company. They never believed that he'd be interested or even able to carry on his parent's life work. But he was determined, and is using his company's resources to rebuild the city. The work isn't as profitable as the Board would like, which is a constant struggle, but as he owns nearly 60% of his company's stock, Hellion doesn't really care what they think.

So, with a bad self image, a ferocious temper, a grieving heart, and a corporation to run, Hellion is out to make the world a better place, even if he has to bust some heads to get it there.

A Picture

Callie Del Noire

Teaser- Got bored and trying to get a feel for the super solider of the group.

The drug deal was going down right beneath her. Twenty five feet of sheer drop lay between Val and her latest target. The result of two weeks of stalking, shadowing and making note of who was getting what from whom. The comic books made it seem to be the easiest thing in the world to find the bad guys but it was hard work, a lot harder than the stuff the other kids at the shelter did. Of course most of them could claim to things she couldn't. Like a social security number, a real name and a past. She didn't have any of that.

Nico told her what was right to wear, Gert was the one that explained the slang and stuff the others said, and Chase didn't freak out when she broke the weight machine in a fit of pique. So she was learning the socialization stuff, slowly but surely. The GED course was a joke, she had the books read and down pat in a week and was bored out of her mind doing the stuff at the pace the others were doing. It was like she was a sponge soaking up information. Truth be told if she hadn't wanted to fit in a little, she'd have bailed on the shelter by now.

Of course no one knew that she had woken up after the Ultimatum wave in a pile of metallic pods that held a variety of bodies. She had been the only one to survive and by the time she had come to her senses and tried to find the building again she had run straight out for 4 hours. Which gave her a search radius of several hundred miles all considered. Most of which didn't look anything like it had that terrible night.

Her thoughts came to a close as the car pulled into the warehouse and the men stepped out to meet the ones she had been shadowing. She pulled on her gloves as she shifted her position on the beam. The biker's helmet slid on next as she tensed up, preparing to move. Muscles coiled like steel springs as she swung under the beam and held on while she watched. In the darkened warehouse, she watched as the men pulled out a gym bag that turned out to contain a mound of white bags and a brief case that showed the tell-tale flash of green she'd been looking for. She shifted to pull the heavy lib she had pulled up from a nearby alley and let it go. The rounded disc whistled towards the parked Escalade as she dropped twenty feet to the car beneath her.

The manhole cover tore through the driver side of the Escalade while she flattened the car's roof top and kicked off towards the first man to turn towards the sound of her landing. Her kick hit him square of the sternum and drove him across the warehouse floor as a hand snapped out to spin her around towards the two men in front of the ruined Escalade as they turned to see what happened as she flicked the downed man's gun at the last man. The last man took the 9mm to the temple and dropped like a bag of turnips.

Then she landed among the last two men and exploded into action.

Two hours later.

"What do we have?" The detective asked as he walked over to the wreckage of the drug deal. The patrolman covering the scene looked around with a 'are you joking' look.

"Well Detective, this is the fifth deal we've seen broken up in the last year. Central says that the Narcotics had these gents here." He pointed to the four men tied to a nearby column with a wave of his hand. "are some of the newcomers that came out of the mess of the tsunami. Big men in the new drug world. We found what must have been Twenty grand in product doused in lighter fluid and those." He pointed to the ruined cars.

"Someone is very very angry." The Detective said with a whistle.

"And the folks in the bay are asking if they can take over." He said pointing in the direction of the Triskelion.

"Grand.. they are being 'diplomatic'." The Detective grumbled as he looked at the imprint on the hood. If it was larger a size 6 boot print, he'd eat the hood.

Outside.

Val watched from the shadows as she took in the crime scene investigation team working the sight. Her boots would have to go, again, she noted as the detective pointed to the hood. Perhaps it was time to find a new money making scheme, she thought to herself as watched the forensics team work. They didn't have all the toys the ones on TV had and it seemed they weren't as sharp as the ones on those shows either, but they had numbers and time on their hands.

"Maybe it's time for Wartoy to move on, Manhattan might be getting a bit too hot these days." She murmured. It was kind of risky playing in the Ultimates backyard, she noted as she looked skyward to see a line heading out towards the Triskelion. Word was that Queens was the stomping ground of Spiderman and a few others these days, the Bronx had some guy kicking the shit out of gang members and the Punisher had been seen all over town. Boston was beginning to look more and more attractive, she thought as she considered how to spend the twenty grand in her backpack. Time to look into getting the tattoo on her neck covered again and leaving down, she thought grumpily as she scratched at it. Her metabolism blew off most tattoos in a few weeks and the barcode on the back of her neck was something she didn't want anyone to find.

Some stuff on my character idea...

Blitz-Beine (German for "Lightning Legs")
Real Name: Angelika Marie Gauss
Date of Birth: 28 May, 1982 (age 17-19 in the campaign)
Place of Birth: Munich, (then-West) Germany
Height: 5'4"  Weight: 116 lbs.
Hair: Blonde  Eyes: Blue
Measurements: 34C-24-35

History: Angelika Gauss is the daughter of a Bavarian State Police officer killed in the line of duty when she was very young. As a child, Angelika became interested in gymnastics and had hopes of going to the Olympics. When she was 16, she was involved in an automobile accident when the car she was in struck a power pole. Rushed to the hospital, it was discovered that the exposure to electricity had given her superhuman speed. Angelika was recruited into Spezialjäger ("Special Hunters"), Germany's small but official superhuman team. After a period of training, Angelika was given a costume and the codename Blitz-Beine. Due to the high cut of her outfit's bottom, some members of the German media dubbed her Blitz-Backen ("Lightning Cheeks") much to her chagrin.

Recently, Blitz-Beine was chosen was selected by Germany as a liaison to SHIELD following the Ultimatum tragedies. While honored to be part of such an international gesture of goodwill, Angelika worries if she is somehow underperforming and is thus expendable. So far she has mixed feelings about her mission, having already acquired another unwanted nickname from some SHIELD agents... Chicksilver. Meanwhile back in Germany, a young reporter has uncovered some discrepancies in Blitz-Beine's origin tale. For one thing, there is no sign of an accident occurring where it is said to have happened. The leadership of Spezialjäger is aware of his investigation and relocated Angelika while they consider their options.

Appearance: Blitz-Beine is a young blonde with long hair she wears braided. She has a small scar on her face near her chin she says is from the accident that gave her the powers she has. Her uniform consists of a sleeveless long-sleeved tunic that leaves her muscular legs bare. It also exposes a great deal of her buttocks, much to the delight of aficionados of female super-heroes. Blitz-Beine has the dubious honor of being voted "Ultimate Ass" according to one popular lad's mag. Her uniform varies in color, usually it is white but she also has versions in green, pink, blue, and black. She wears either a garrison cap or a beret, which gives her something of a military look, and protective bracers on her forearms. She also paints lightning bolts on her legs as a nod to her alias.

Personality: Angelika tries to always come off as a no-nonsense professional. She tends to follow orders from superiors with little question. A big reason for this is that she is a fairly insecure person and doesn't think she is taken seriously. As a result, Blitz-Beine is always eager to please in hopes of getting some sort of validation.

Ick..I know about the joblessness bit. :( Been out of work and living off my disability/GI Bill while doing school. Only Avionics Job I've been offered in the last 12 months is the one in town I'm blacklisted for the length of the current contract.

Come on folks.. I'm sure there is SOMEONE out there who wants to join in. :D
