Merlin’s Chair

The place is somewhere in the Scottish highlands not too terribly far from the English border just North of Berwick on Tweed along the eastern Scottish coast.  Gloswich was just far enough off the A9 to keep the tour buses away that were heading north to Edinburgh so the town managed to keep its charm but suffered like the rest when times got bad.

However that is not the story here.

The timeframe is now whatever it is...

This is the movie trailer....

Afro Celts playing the background music.

The camera pans into an ancient and forgotten room down deep underneath the Abby.  Inside this dusty dank place was a solitary chair that dates back before the Abbey was built in 550AD.

The music fades to Enya who sings a haunted ballad as the story of the chair is brought to life in full cinematic Technicolor.  Images of Merlin and King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table intermixed with Scenes from the Crusades.

The music dies as the picture fades to black. For the chair is hidden away and soon forgotten.

The chair will be found once more and its finder unwittingly is thrust into a world of strange places, inhabiting the skins and wondrous bodies with all manner of different personas.

His partner is just as unassuming and unsuspecting for she was the daughter of the vicar and he a novice priest here to study the history of the abbey.

For this was the chair of Merlin and though its powers and purpose was never put to song or ballad it was the means to which Merlin could travel from the present to the past…   but that was not chair’s only role.

For who sat in it had the power of transformation and transportation from present to past to any of those who laid hand on it when the chair was thusly occupied.  Whomever sat in Merlin’s chair only had to think of a place… a singular moment, and a purpose and it was immediately so…. for the chair was powered by imagination through time.

Arthur long suspecting it had strong and powerful magic had it secreted away when Merlin suddenly disappeared…As the winds of change swept across the land the chair’s existence faded far from memory.

As for the Abbey it’s more an historical landmark now, but the small chapel is still very much intact and quite functional.  There is a vibrant and active “Save the Abbey Society” as well for restoring the Abby proper, which so far has managed to keep it from further disrepair but little else.

So begins our journey that first faithful day when Drew Bruce stepped out of the Rover onto the abbey grounds.  At the end of the parking lot was the lone office that housed the Abby’s archives and doubled as a gift shop, information center for the odd tourist who happened by.  In that office sat, the fair and comely Penny Mc Daniel unaware that within a few minutes’ events would be set in motion that would forever change her life.

The entire scene fades to black.

So dear reader what now is needed is a fair and comely lass to play the part of the vicars daughter.  She must be of good catholic stock but once in the chair, Penny transforms young Drew into anything or anyone she wishes in any setting; her perfect lover, her darkest desire.

When Drew sits in the chair he returns the favor making her his total whore or his goddess, his ultimate lover just as Penny does to him.

I have no real On’s  /  Offs other than the official rules so this adventure will unfold to Penny’s particular desires and or  flavors.

Takers?
If you're looking for my O's no need. I don't have any Offs persay.  That allows lots and lots of maneuver room.
