They say that the Elves only offer this special wine to those who deserve it. Whether by deeds or words, you have captured this Elven Maid's attention.

Now the question is, did you do something so horrid that the Elves are seeking vengeance for a wrong done to one of theirs? Or did you do something heroic that deems a reward?

Maybe this Elven Maid was sent to seek you out and offer the reward, because after all who would take a sip if she told you it was punishment? After all, who knows what effect Elven wine has on humans?

Please pay attention to my O/O's and PM me with your character idea. This whole story idea is open to interpretation. I love fantasy, mystery and a creative imagination. I will check your O/O's thread. Link it or create it before PM'ing me. Compatibility is important to me, so that we both have an enjoyable experience.

I would like to set this in my world I have created in the world building thread. You can find it here:

The idea I have is that this Elven maiden has found a human has entered the Elven lands. The Elves try their best to keep the humans out of their lands. Not so much that they are unfreindly, but more because humans tend to be destructive and warlike. A way for the Elves to keep humans out has always been to have magical beasts that are dangerous and frightening roaming the borderlands.

Unfortunately these magical beasts have become somewhat of a niusance. That is they have started spreading out into human lands. Of course the Elves cannot claim to have created these things. They would rather just let the humans deal with it and not say anything. But of course a human would make his way into the lands, and he sees things that make him very well aware of what is going on.

Does he stay around and investigate further? Maybe he tries to kill off some of these beasts? Or maybe he seeks to find out who or what is making them?

This plot is still a little green. More creativity would be good from a fellow writer who can get into the spirit of the idea.

Please PM me with your ideas! I will need a valid O/O thread of yours to gauge your writing desires and limits. Mine is in my signature, I expect you to read it! Do not post in this thread. Thank you.

There are only two ways to get into the Elven lands in my world. One is by permission with an Elven escort, used by diplomats and hired mercenaries. This would be an ideal way for a mage and his escort or human bodyguards to enter the Elven lands. Maybe he is sent by the human Mage Council to investigate these sightings of beasts and to find their source.

The Elves are reluctant to allow the mage and his party in, but pressure is applied by the human High King, Wilhelm the third, to quell the rising incidents of magical dangerous beasts in human lands. The Elven King Emmortalis, will allow the mage and two bodyguards to enter, with an escort of six Elves. They will not allow the mage or his party to leave the roads, and warn all of them that the beasts on the Elven side of the river Thangris are far more dangerous.

Or:

By way of the Sea of Serenity. Human merchants are allowed to sail to the southern port of Grenich on the Erethrom coast. There they will meet with the Perida, the seafaring Elves.

The Pereida are the southern island dwellers. Making their homes on the rocky promontories out of stone and driftwood and sometimes the bones of sea monsters and whales. The are the shipbuilders and the most likely to trade and make friends with other races. Dark hair and brown or deep violet eyes are common. Their build is wiry and strong, standing at about the same average height as a human. Outgoing and friendly, they love to spin yarns and gamble. They can be passionate and fiery tempered as well.

They ply everything from sea going vessels to riverboats and lake fishing schooners. They love the water, being excellent swimmers and fisherfolk. There have been times when the Pereida were known to be pirates, before the Elf King signed the treaties with the humans to protect trade. There are still some who will try occasionally if they can get away with it.

The possibilities of a pirate or a simple sea based rp can be here. A human merchant can gather things that the Elves like, mainly grain, mithril bars, high quality gems, and human made spirits like rum and whiskey. Your character can be any of these: Merchant, Captain of the ship, sailor, or a stowaway.

Please PM me with your ideas for a rp. Or simply to offer suggestions on what would be good to include in my world. Thanks!

Still seeking a partner for this. The plot is wide open to discuss. I will be delighted to take it down a darker path or one of mystery and intrigue. It could even be a comical sort, where the infiltrator is there entirely by accident, and is just looking for a way to get home. He should have known better than to make fun of a mage who had powerful teleporting spells.

How in all the Nine Hells was he supposed to get out of here. He did not even know where 'here' was!! The fact he woke up in a cave with only darkness surrounding him and no clothes on his back, no weapons, no food and most of all, what was that strange light that bobbed closer and closer? It was a beautiful Elven maid, and she seemed friendly. But could he trust her?

In all the lands near the border between Elf land and the humans are a very rugged mountainous region filled with barbaric tribes. Here the Elves have a pact with the barbarians, stay out of Elven lands, or suffer the consequences.

I would love the barbarians to resemble the famed Scottish Highlanders.

The Elven princess, however wants to meet with the barbarians and learn about them.  Finding a barbarian camp close to the border, she sneaks in at night and finds the leader. He awakes to find her standing in his tent and offering him a cup of the famous Krinberry wine. It is compared to the nectar of the Gods. She makes him an offer.

"I will stay with you and your people for one year. During that time I wish to be under your protection. I am here to learn about your people. Not to judge, but to exchange wisdom and knowledge. Will you accept?"

There are so many ways to develop a story around a simple offer of a cup of wine.

Perhaps the Elf maiden is seeking information about one of her Kin. He went into the human lands seeking something. A relic, an artifact of great power. How did it get into the human lands? He thinks it was stolen and sold to a human sorcerer who has no idea how powerful the artifact is.

I would love to find a partner who is into long detailed posts, at least to start. You will have a concrete main character who is enticed by the Elven maid to find her father. Are you a rogue? A Mage who might be interested in the rogue sorcerer? A mercenary who will stop at nothing to recover not only the artifact, but try to keep it for himself? So many ways to do this, from evil to light hearted.

PM's only please!!
