RP based on indian epic stories

I was getting slightly interested in playing characters from the epic indian stories of 'Ramayana' and 'Mahabharata'. I am sorry if these names are completely unknown to you :(. Are there any people here who know about these stories? If yes, and if you are interested in playing something from them, please PM me or reply. I have some ideas for characters and themes. I hope I am not offending anyone by this post of mine. If anyone feel so please tell me and I will remove it.
