This is a test thread to see how it goes over. There were a few discussions about the difficulty in finding a co-GM when starting a game. Michi kicked our butts inspired us to test out a thread specifically for recruitment.

Are you creating a group game and  looking for co-pilots (co-GMs)?

The guidelines are fairly simple:

1. Respond to this thread listing your group idea in as much detail as you would like.
2. Anyone interested should PM the individual rather than adding to this thread.
3. When the position has filled, please return and mark it as filled.

Thank you to all who have PMed me. I will be discussing it with everyone and, eventually, a Co-GM will be picked.

Camp Gamall

In keeping with my former Camp Half-Blood game and Aiden's amazing Camp Jupiter, a Norse camp has been discussed. A safe place for the human children of the Norse Gods to train and interact with others of their own kind. Much like other pantheons, the Norse Gods have 'evolved' with the times and now their children must survive the modern world while still keeping with the traditions of their Deity parents. While not as well known or talked about as the Greek and Roman Gods, the Norse Gods are just as interesting and have their own issues. In truth, I find them more interesting in many aspects.

I've already worked out a few details on my own, such as the location of the camp. I felt an Alaskan coast line would work the best. More so since it's so remote and isolated that they would need a way of getting out quickly and a quick means of travel...an Earthly Bifröst. This Bifröst would allow them quick travel to various places in America and, with special permission, into Asgard (guarding and use of the Earthly Bifröst is controlled by the children of Heimdallr).

For a quick over view of some ideas I had:

Frost Giants (of course!) attacking Asgard and the camp.
Fenrir (or his children) devouring campers who are brave enough (or stupid enough) to travel outside the camp alone.
Loki (or his children inside the camp) causing mayhem.
Meeting Jörmungandr (Midgard Serpent) who is currently living in the waters of the Bering Strait.

Anyway, I'm looking for a Co-GM for this. I'm no good at GMing on my own. I get overwhelmed, so I need the help. As for specific 'missions' and 'quests', I would prefer to discuss them in PM so as not to leave them out in the public eye for everyone to see and spoil the surprises.

The kind of GM I'm looking for is someone who can tell me that an idea sucks when it needs to be said, but also someone who has at lease minor knowledge in Norse Mythology. While I dislike doing it, I do plan on pulling a bit of lore from the Marvel universe since that is a more well known 'Norse' lore.

Anyway, as the first post says to do, PM me.

**Gamall means Snow. It's called Camp Snow. >.>

So with the upcoming movie coming out, I dived into the books and after reading them thought that a game based around the arena and the actual Hunger Games is just too good an idea to pass up.  The setting itself would surround the 51st Games, and the tributes who will enter the arena.  The Tributes will be made up of one boy and one girl(ages 16-18 per Elliquiy rules) from each of the 12 districts.  They will than be thrown into a game of survival, where they can form alliances to kill off the other tributes, but in the end, only one will stand.

The wikia for it has already been put up, here, but it hasn't been completely finished yet.  The game itself will have a very simple d20 system, where each character will have a determined number of Attack, Defence, and HP points, that's reliant on which district said character is from. In battle the attacker, and defender will roll a d20, and the one with the higher number will be the one who inflicts damage. The difference in rolls will be the number of HP subtracted, and when a players HP count hits zero, their character dies.

The system part is mainly why I'm looking for a co-GM.  While it's simple, I've never ran one, so having someone there to help with it, would be extremely helpful.  I plan on there being a lot of planning for this game, details worked out down to how many, and which weapons will be available in the arena.  But don't get me wrong, all the planning will result in lot's of fun.  Ideally, I'd like for any co-GM to have read the books, and be familiar with the setting.

So if anyone is interested, please let me know via PM, and we can get this thing started!

I am looking for a Co-GM for Abducted by Tentacle Monsters, a game with the essential synopsis being that there is a intergalactic conglomerate known as the Collective runs a business where they capture girls from underdeveloped planets and then store them upon their ship as property to be used by their guests in a space cruise type of service that travels along the Galaxy stopping at certain planets to sight see or stop in order to switch out the supply of girls or even missions that the Collective needs to complete in private with certain individuals or governments.

Currently we are in an period where there have been pirates that have captured the Collective ship in a trap and they are now trying to board in order to rob, pillage, murder, do pirate stuff basically. I need a Co-GM that is experienced, doesn't mind that there will be times due to RL that they will be the driving force of the RP for a bit. Someone that I bounce ideas off for the game with so that it is not just my game but it will be our game that we are running with our players.

I know that my summary so far has been pretty brief but there is much that is not set in stone in this little story and so there are things that are changeable or have unstated so far in the story. I am sure that when we get in further correspondence that I will be able to further shed some light on the matter.

Contact me by PM and let us see if we can get this partnership started.

Hello!  I am about to kick off a Hogwarts-themed group RP using a modified version of Song of Ice and Fire RP by Green Ronin.  The game will be set 5 years after Deathly Hallows.  With Voldemort dead, the Death Eaters have begun splintering off into smaller cells, and one of the characters will be playing one of them.  I would love a co-GM or two to help with NPCs and plot brainstorming.

The system is very easy to learn and the rules are posted in the threads.

So I'm working on a game called Soulblades.  Oversimplified, it's about a college in which various people suddenly manifest various abilities as monsters start attacking en masse.  I'm hoping to combine a sort of college experience feel with a kick-butt-and-take-names anime style.

Right now, though, we're getting rather heavy on heterosexual males, and even if someone doesn't want to help with the monsters and fighting aspect, I could really use someone to help throw together NPCs of heterosexual females to complete the story and round out the feeling of an actual campus before all hell breaks loose.

Lately, I've been  craving a roleplay based on tv show American Horror Story though with original characters but set in a different house. Characters would play either a ghost, neighbor or a member of the unlucky family that moves into the house. The only going in is that I'm really tired of GMing roleplays, and I need someone who's a bit more detail and task oriented to balance my big picture creative personality.

Hey everyone,

I'm throwing together ideas for my first group RP - it's based on the zombie comic series/TV series "The Walking Dead". It'll take place in a universe based on those sources, but it'll be set in California, a few thousand miles away from what's happening in the canon material. All new characters, all new storyline.

It'll be a system game - probably something very simple, primarily to address combat and zombie attacks. I'd like most of the social interactions to remain freeform. I have some ideas for the type of system I want to use, but I'm amenable to ideas and suggestions. But plenty of zombies. ;D

I've not ever run a group RP before, so I'm looking for an experienced GM to give some guidance and lend a hand in collaborating on this bad boy. :) My RL job also can take me away from E for a couple of days at a time every few months or so, so I need someone who's willing to take care of things solo sometimes.

I have some strong ideas for the storylines of this RP, and the direction I want it to go ... but as I said, ideally, I want this to be a collaborative GM effort. Input and ideas from a Co-GM will be more than welcome. :)

PM me if interested. Thanks for reading!

Zillah

So, rather than the "Walking Dead" RP - which I decided would be more complicated than I originally thought, and probably wouldn't be a good RP for a first-time GM - I decided to go for something simpler, and freeform.

Here it is: The Maiden Voyage of the RMS Mystic. "Titanic"+"Twin Peaks" = weird, smutty, semi-historical goodness (hopefully).

Anyway ... interest proved to be a little more than I expected, so if anyone's interested in co-GMing with me, I'd appreciate the help, and would be glad to collaborate on this with you!

Planescape was a Dungeons & Dragons setting that focused on the otherworldly planes of existence such as heavenly Celestia, clockwork Mechanus, volcanic Gehenna, and the near planes such as the Elemental Plane of Fire. Connecting all of these places and untold more is the incredible city of Sigil, a trade nexus and battleground for fifteen philosopher-orders each competing to shape reality through the power of belief. These powers, and the grudges of extraplanar creatures who populate Sigil, are kept in check by the silent and enigmatic Lady of Pain, whose power within Sigil is absolute.

What I want to do here is a sandboxy plot-based, freeform game set in the pre-Faction War era of Planescape. What this means is that all Planescape lore up to the last book, Faction War, is canonical. Since the Planewalker.com website is mostly dedicated to speculation of what happened post-Faction War, it's going to be a mixed bag resource, but it is still one of the best resources out there.

I have it in mind to weave a small-scale story within Sigil, focused around the Society of Sensation, the Sign of One, and the Doomguard. The rest of the factions are probably too ambitious for a small group game, but would make appearances as minor characters. It would be a lesbian-friendly game, with lesbian NPCs and emphasis on the sexually liberated elements of the setting in the vein of Great Gatsby.

I prefer a co-GM who knows the setting, or at least the Dungeons & Dragons game. Access to the books The Factol's Manifesto and Uncaged: The Faces of Sigil would be extra awesome.

I'm also willing to share my AIM contact info to help us communicate faster. It isn't required, though.

Summer Crest American school in Switzerland is the most prestigious boarding school in the world.  It's undeniable that only the cream of the crop can attend, considering how high the tuition is.  But the school isn't just the playground of the rich and influential, it's also the only known school to accept supernatural creatures in the world.  The waiting list to get in is so long that there's automatically a two year waiting period, but for those who are accepted, they'll find an education rivaled by none other.

But something new is coming to Summer Crest, something never before done at the school.  For the first time, the senior class will be required to participate in a pen pal program.  The program is completely confidential, and even the students won't know who they're writing to.  But what the teachers and school board isn't aware of, is the possible drama that this program could bring.  It's a good thing the students need some shaking up, or this could all end in disaster.

This group game will be lightly plot driven, and freeform.  It' will center around the senior class of this supernatural boarding school, and I'm expecting most, if not all of the students being played will be some sort of creature or other.  The universe would be one where the knowledge of such beings aren't widespread, but  I'd say 2/10 people would have some sort of connection to them, be it either through family, acquaintance , or rumor.  The school itself would require, and binds with magic the silence of all students before they are admitted, so that no scandal would spread past the schools walls.  So although all the student's would need to have a humanoid facade, it's not uncommon for them them to go around with their real physical features peeking through.

BOSCO is an American boarding school, so the majority of it's student's are American, but it's possible that some students are from elsewhere.  It's an elevator school, so the students would have started off in it's Pre-k program, and pass up through the elementary, middle, and finally high school.  Any student, unless specifically recruited by the staff, would have had to started in the Pre-K program, meaning everyone would have known each other for years, even if just in passing.

What I'm looking for, is one or two co-Gm's to help me flesh out any details that seem to be lacking, come up with some fresh ideas, and help me with plotting.  On the technical side, I'd need help approving characters, handling questions, and in general help with managing the game.  I've tried several times with this game, and it's never failed to gain a good number of dedicated players.  But I definitely need help keeping it's momentum going, and so on and so forth.  The game itself is pretty interactive, since we've implemented fake google+ accounts, to enhance the play.  So please let me know if you'd be interested in helping me.

Actually, I'm looking for a GM.

I recently posted a recruitment thread to Prison Planet - Hell Frozen Over. The game has not yet started, but I figured as it is for female characters only, I would be fair and post a recruitment thread for a male only version.

It is this all-male game that I am looking for a GM for.

Prison Planet - The Fires Of Hell.

Please PM me if you are interested in running this game.

Thanks

Hey, I'm looking for a Co-Gm to help me run a Harry Potter Cannon RP. While I don't need one for the initial bits, if the game gets big, I would like to know I have someone willing to help me out.

This is the premise
Harry Potter and the Rise of the Light

That year was supposed to be the end of everything. We were about to head towards Hogwarts to end it all. We were to find a horcrux and face Voldemort. We were late. The Light, as we call ourselves, had already destroyed two horcruxes before we broke the locket. And the break in to Gringotts was hardly a quiet affair. So when Bellatrix alerted her master of the loss of another horcrux, Riddle didn’t hesitate to move on the final hold of the light, the castle meant for learning where he had stored one of his many horcruxes, Hogwarts. He couldn’t risk losing another and having the target come closer to him. Nagini after all was usually close by at all times and her death would mean four pieces of his soul obliterated. Not even including if they did manage to destroy the goblet or the diadem.

This RP was inspired by http://she-who-dances-with-dragons.tumblr.com/post/56588131825/yayponies-sometimesyoufly-oh-holy-fuck-this]this group of pictures. This is the timeline that is set in stone as of right now:

Gringotts Bank was robbed by the Golden Trio. However, instead of heading to Hogsmead, they lay low for a few days. This was a mistake.

Voldemort attacks the castle, intending to reclaim his diadem. Knowing Harry is not in the castle due to the Horcrux in Harry, he doesn’t wait and instead storms the Castle immediately and without warning. Details of the battle are unknown as of yet. Casualties unknown.

I want the RP to start with the news of the Battle to the Trio/Aftermath of the Battle to other Cannons, just so you as the player understand where we’ll be starting.

This is, for the beginning, a Canon RP. I’m willing to take volunteers for the following Cannons:

  • Harry Potter
  • Ron Weasley
  • Neville Longbottom
  • Ginny Weasley
  • Draco Malfoy

Mind you, these are the Cannons open for the beginning of the RP and I will add more Canon options when we’re getting further along (including but not limited to other Weasleys, Bellatrix Lestrange, and Severus Snape), as well as the potential for OCs. Also, I will not open availability for Hermione Granger or Luna Lovegood. Hermione, I intend to use and Luna is who I want to play (and will use in the beginning for plot).

This is intended as a long running RP running years of Game Time. As such elements I wish to implement: Torture and Non-con. I intend for people to get caught at some point or another.

That being said:

  • This will be in the Non-Con section

  • When I open this up for OC’s, All gender types and Sexualities will be accepted.

  • Cannon Players: I expect you to have fun. These kids are going into what we expect to be college age. Any experimentation you want to have, as long as it’s mutual between players, go for it.

  • This RP is not a sex RP: This is meant to be highly emotional situation so sex will happen. It’s not the focus. Story/Character Development is.

  • This doesn’t have a system yet. However, in the meantime, I will ask for rolls of dice and character deaths/captures will occur. I will let you know and I will have a true system prepared for OCs. Cannon Players, I will make sure you see my rolls so you know I’m not just randomly deciding this. I will have consistent numbers by the time we start for Cannon characters.

  • My Cannon characters listed now need to be dedicated to this RP. I really want these characters to stick around for the long haul and do not wish to have to pause the RP or take on another Main Cannon to continue.

  • A minimum post requirement of once a week (barring emergencies and the like) will be implemented. I will ask after one week of no posting (if you’re not waiting for someone else) if something’s going on/check A/As.

Please PM me if interested or if you have any tips. This will be my first time GMing so any tips will be more than welcome.

Edit: Fixed a code...

A [Psychological] [Science Fantasy] [Mecha] Small Group Game

This is an idea for a small group story that I’ve had brewing in my head for a while now. I’ve led numerous group games outside of E for years, but this will be my first time hosting a group story on E so I’m a little nervous. This will be a small group, probably no more than five-ish writers, so I can handle most of the technical things on my own. What I need help with is solidifying the plot and fine tuning/organizing my ideas. I’m great at developing characters, concepts, themes, worldbuilding, and I’m a fountain of miscellaneous ideas, but I need someone who would be happy to act as my sounding board and help me tweak the plot. I need someone willing to invest themselves in the story as much as I am and isn’t wary about giving me a nudge when they notice something amiss or think it could be improved.

Premise of the Story

The basis of the story is that in 2050 a large meteorite crashed into the ocean. A few months later the earth was attacked by abnormal, monstrous entities that arose from the ocean. Most of these monsters were no bigger than a horse or a school bus, but some were bigger. And they were numerous. They swarmed villages, towns, and cities and attacked indiscriminately. They destroyed structures and hunted down humans seemingly without purpose. There was no way to negotiate with them and no matter how many were killed they seemed to continue rising from the deepest depths of the oceans. The militaries of the world managed to stand against the onslaught until something much bigger appeared. It was humanoid, almost a hundred feet and it’s destruction capabilities were so severe and unlike anything human’s could explain that it was attributed to magic. And most horrific was there resistance to human weaponry. More followed in its wake. Humans named them demons and welcomed the apocalypse.

But humanity made the decision not to go down without a fight. The nations of the world pooled their resources and their greatest minds together to make humanity’s most complicated achievement of technology: the Grigori. Large constructions both mechanical and organic piloted by two people that possess the ability to hurt, and even kill, the demons.

The story will kick off in 2099 with humanity still battling against demons using the Grigori. While humanity has managed to somewhat recover the war is far from over. It will focus on an international military organization that is charged with safeguarding the world using the Grigori. Characters in the story will include the pilots of the Grigori and various other personnel within the organization. The mecha in this story will be heavily inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion and Pacific Rim. And Twin Peaks.

Essential Information
  • Recruitment for this story isn’t roaring to go yet. I’d need my Co-Pilot to be willing to hash some things over with me for a while before we go searching for interested writers.
  • Freeform. No system or dice will be used to determine character actions. However the story will be structured and writers will be following a plot guideline. This isn’t a sandbox, but writers will have control over their character’s fate and how their character develops.
  • The genre of the story will be primarily science fantasy and psychological. It will also have a strong apocalypse and military influence. When the characters aren’t busy fighting demons there will be “slice of life” scenes that will spice the story with romance, tragedy, etc.
  • Sexual Activity: Romance and sex will be allowed to occur, but will be optional. Flirting and sex can be a great way to express or deepen character relationships, but it’s not the main point of the story.
  • Writing Style & POV: Third person and past tense.

Co-Pilot Checklist
  • Non-negotiable requirements: Must be willing to write with and OOCly talk with Lieges, Ladies, and Lords. Writers will be allowed to write characters with any sex, gender identity or expression, and sexual orientation they wish. The writer’s characters might not reflect the writer’s real life sex, gender, or sexual orientation. My co-pilot must be 100% comfortable with that. They must also be comfortable with the story including gay/lesbian/bi/queer/etc characters and the possibility of trans* characters. The story will be very LGBT friendly.
  • Must be available to respond to PMs within at least three days and finds a one or two post per week posting requirement for when the story starts agreeable.
  • Should be quivering with anticipation at the psychological exploration of characters that the story will allow.
  • Should be comfortable and willing to play multiple characters. The structure of the story will work best if each writer controls at least two characters and I need my Co-Pilot to help out with that.

Interested in being my Co-Pilot for this story? PM me!

Don’t want to Co-Pilot, but like what you've read? PM me so I can let you know when the recruitment for the story goes up!

Looking for 1-2 co-GMs for a system-based Battlestar Galactica game.  The system is an adaptation of Green Ronin's Song of Ice and Fire.  The game will "zoom out" from focusing on Viper pilots and give a little more spotlight to political and leadership issues, to include resource managements.  I've almost finished adapting the system (which I also adapted for my Hogwarts game) and it is easy to learn.

Please let me know if you have any questions or are interested.

Sengoki Academy. Where warriors, mages, and all different races meet from across the realms for only one purpose. The hopes of becoming a HERO.

When you enter Sengoki Acadmy your first exam is a display of your magic/skill in front of the whole school. The senior psychics and Hero's of the school use this to judge your potential. And when it is complete you are either named Hero or Guardian. This combo is not always as typical as it seems. There have been healers that possessed the will of a Hero and had a strong protector at her side. As well as Mighty warrior heroes supported by mighty magicians. At Sengoki Academy It takes more than skill and power to be a Hero.

After your role is chosen you must find a partner. Every Hero needs a guardian. The Hero and Guardian live together in their own suite and will train and learn together at the academy. At the end of every month a tournament is held to determine rankings in the academy. The role of Hero and Guardian will be chosen at random after enough characters will join. Unless you would like the have the start be where everyone displays all their skills!?

So I really want to join a rp like this but i dont really want to gm it so if anyone wants to take this I have much more storyline. Plot ideas and NPC's and such to share. Also in addition to this one because this school is geared towards Heroes. If there was enough interest there could also be.

Sengeki Academy

School for witches, demons, killers and all others seeking to be Overlords. The school simply encourages teamwork but does not take away anyone's right to be an Overlord. The school only has one large dorm to encourage mixing and mingling. And a relaxing spa. For the days of training are harsh, rough, and for lesser demons deadly. :) Every month there is a tournament held to see who the strongest is. You may partner up or you may not. Doesn't matter to us we just like to see the torture.

I was thinking the schools were run by twin sisters. The Evil school often attacking or playing pranks on Hero school. Of course with the living arrangements on both schools there will be varying sexiness. For example, Hero school seems more consensual while Evil school could get close to NC, exotic. Well these are my ideas to get you interested. Any interest in this rp? Or if you would like to gm and want more of the storyline i have in thought let me know.

Please do not light camp fires or barbecues on the ground. Barbecues are permitted if they are kept off the grass. We offer an ice-pack freezing service. Electrical hook-ups are available on most pitches. One car per pitch please.

Please be aware that clothing is not permitted to be worn at any time on the site. The only exception is an apron which may be worn whilst cooking.

Singles and swingers are welcome. Under 16s are NOT permitted, under 18s are permitted with written consent from a parent or guardian.

The camp site is SLGBTI friendly. Any activity is permitted between consenting adults.

Now Looking For a Co-GM

Duties to include:

  • Playing the various NPC staff characters I have created, when they are needed to interact with players characters.
  • Creating threads for player character's "pitches"
  • Assisting with moving approved character sheets to the appropriate thread
  • Assisting with approving characters and explaining how the game runs to new players (Full training will be given)
  • Monitoring the IC threads and bringing any anomalies to the players' attention.
  • Monitoring the OOC discussion thread, sorting out any queries that may arise, helping to keep the peace and generally contributing to the overall flavour of the game
  • Communicating with the GM constantly regarding in-game activities

In addition to the above you will be allowed to have a player character of your own, should you wish. I would prefer you limit this one one PC, as the NPCs could very well take up  some time.

All of the above activities will be shared with myself, hence the need for communication.

I would prefer an experienced Co-GM, but I'm willing to give someone new and enthusiastic a go. Please note that all the Rules Of Play detailed in the OOC thread apply equally to you and me! We get to bend them occasionally, is all.

Here is a link to the recruitment thread. From there a link can be found to the OOC thread, and llnks to the IC threads are in the fourth OOC post.

If you are interested, please send me a PM and we can discuss it.

Please check out my latest A/A post.

Game Details, Player Expectations, Rules, and so forth[/spoiler

~~The world is much like our own.  Technology is at the center of the average person’s daily life.  Texting has usurped talking as the favored mode of communication.  Cell phones are owned by all but the most underprivileged.  Wiki pages have replaced reference books as quicker and easier ways of learning.  Despite rising gas prices, Americans continue to drive their S.U.V.s and trucks, and “Big Oil” continues to ensure that “alternative energy” is nothing more than a dreamer’s dream.  Dozens of animal species enter extinction each year.  Drastic weather changes are occurring across the globe.  War continues to rage in the Middle East.  The United States has troops committed to several fronts; while North Korea actively seeks to gain nuclear weapons.  A world-wide recession has effected much of Europe and North America.  And a rash of natural disasters has strained the already-struggling countries.

But, that is only the tip of the iceberg.

Behind it all, is something that has been hidden since Ancient times.  Magic.  It is real, and with it an entire world that has never been seen by the average human.  It is a world of wonder and danger.  It is a mysterious world with rules and laws that we do not understand or comprehend.  A place in which a select few can wield unimaginable power, if they can but survive long enough.~~

About the game: This will be primarily a GM-driven role play with some sandbox elements.  It will have a somewhat episodic structure with GM-driven missions bracketed by sandbox-style role play.  There will be planned character growth with the ability for the characters to gain both positive and negative stats and attributes.  No system knowledge is required as everything will be managed “behind the curtain” by the GM.  Inspiration has been taken from shows such as; Grimm, True Blood, Teen Wolf, Lost Girl, The Dresden Files and Charmed.

Characters: All Player Characters will be college-aged (18-26) with a history of having experienced something unexplainable.  Characters can come from anywhere in the world and I will be looking for five characters altogether.  I will be looking for rounded and well-developed characters.  The more time you spend on creating your character the more potential for growth and development during game play.  Character advancement will be discussed between the GM and the player.  No "loner" type character will be accepted at this time.

Players: Looking for players who can commit to posting once every 2-3 days; who can illustrate and develop their character’s personality with their writing; who can write descriptive action scenes; who can make their character’s magic come to life with their words; and who can adapt to twists in the story, as well as, accept unexpected happenings to their character.  I'm looking for players who can conduct themselves with maturity, work amiably to resolve misunderstandings, and who will keep drama out of the OOC.  Further, I’m looking for players who are willing to collaborate with the GM and each other in an attempt to create a dynamic and enjoyable story for all.  Please enter this game with a genuine interest in interacting with other players and a desire to post as frequently as you are allowed.

Rules and Expectations:
   1.  Drama is good in the story, not in the OOC or PMs.  That being said, there are bound to be misunderstandings.  It is critical to give the other person the benefit of the doubt and to attempt to communicate your thoughts and feelings as accurately as possible.  Any misunderstanding should be settled via PMs with the GM included in the discussion.  If the parties involved are unable to settle the misunderstanding the GM will intervene.  The GMs word is final.

   2.  In order to maintain the pace of the story it will be important for players post once every 3 days.   If you know you will be unable to post within 3 days of your last post, please do the following: remove your character from the scene, notify the other players in the OOC as to why you needed to remove your character from the scene, and PM the GM as to how long you believe you’ll be unable to post.

   3.  If a player does not post within 3 days the player’s character will be skipped or controlled by the GM, depending on the scene.  If the player does not post within 2 weeks, and does not notify the GM of the absence, the player character will become inactive.  Inactive characters will be written out of the story, either through character death or another means.  A player may be allowed to return to the game, after becoming inactive and having their character written out of the story, if there is room in the current cast.  The player’s character will start from the beginning or half the average character’s value (determined by the GM).

   4.  Please post using a third person tense (I.e, "He", not "I")

   5.  One liners - Please, don't do it. Even in conversation, things happen around your character. People pass through, observations are made, thoughts happen. Give your partner/s the consideration of having something to react to

   6. Power gaming/Meta gaming - will not be tolerated. I define this as reacting to OOC information in an IC manner. If your character has no way of ascertaining said information, and you react to it, this is powergaming, and you'll be receiving a post from me to edit.

   7.  God-Mode - 9/10 times, if this happens it's going to come back to bite you in the ass. This includes random plot points that were not discussed with me that have an unfair impact upon game play. The 10% of the time that it will be allowed is if previously discussed with me. If what you’re about to have your character do feels like it might be considered Godding PM me. It is better to ask first then be penalized for it later.

   8.  Combat - It's going to happen here and there, pleas, use common sense.  If it's with a GM controlled character, give me/it a chance to respond.  If you write nine paragraphs, and mortally wound whatever it is as soon as it appears, I'm going to counter the very first thing you attempt, and your entire book of actions will result in squat.  If you manage to get the jump on a sleeping combatant, or it has its back turned, with no attention paid to you, we'll talk.   If Player vs. Player combat occurs, it will be expected that the players involved work out an amiable solution.  If this is not possible, rolls will be used and the players involved will be expected to accept the results.

Items of Note:

    1.  Character death will only occur if a character becomes inactive or the player requests it.

    2.  There will be both negative and positive consequences for in-character actions.  Most negative consequences will not be permanent unless the player wishes them to be.  Positive consequences will be permanent unless something happens in the story to remove the boon.

    3.  Cast selection will not be “First come, first served”.  The GM will select the best character applications for the story the GM wishes to tell.  Males can play female characters and females may play male characters.

    4.  All human character types will be welcome, from anywhere within the world.  Sexual preference will not be taken into consideration when selecting the cast.  Players should realize that there may not be a romantic partner for everyone.  While romance is welcomed, that will not be the focus of the story.

    5. The PC's magic, early on, will not be all powerful.  Through IC activity and training the characters will be able to develop their abilities and those abilities will gradually progress in strength.  Players should expect to be on the bottom of the food chain for awhile.

    6. This game is about exploration and survival.  That being said the game world will be small, to begin with, centering around Denver, CO.  As the characters gain strength, more things will be drawn into their sphere of awareness.  Eventually, I would like to expand the game to be world encompassing.

    7.  Although character death is reserved for characters that become inactive (or upon player request), I expect players to treat every situation as if that was a real possibility.  Please, don't make me regret the decision to avoid character death.

    8.  Stupidity (I.e., deciding to reveal the magical community) will alert authorities, resulting in very bad things.

How the game began

It was but a single random meeting in a day full of random meetings.  It happened in a public place - a supermarket, a gas station, on the subway, on a bus or at the bus stop, in the quad of your campus, or the lobby of your work.  The older, distinguished looking man didn't seem to be out-of-place, though he was dressed remarkably well with a grey pin-striped shirt and solid grey tie underneath a navy blue colored Sport Coat and tucked into his matching dress pants.  His shoes, for those who pay attention to that type of thing, appeared to be of Italian leather and didn't have a blemish on them.  Short, grey strands of meticulously groomed hair peeked out from beneath his grey Homburg style hat.  The man may not have appear to be out-of-place, but his walking cane with a golden emblazoned Derby shaped handle definitely was.

It would have been easy to have disregarded the man and for him to have been lost in the sea of faces you see everyday - even with his lavish cane - except for three simple words, that you would later swear were whispered into your ear by the man despite the fact that he never came closer than an arm's length to you.

"Magic is real."

For the remainder of the day those words echoed and repeated through the vastness of your mind.  It became difficult to concentrate and focus and you found yourself absently scrawling the words on a number of pieces of paper, on the back of your hand and forearm, on your desk at school or work, and on the napkins when you ate.  Other things occurred during the day.  No fewer than three light-bulbs blew as you passed by.  The fluorescent hall lights flickered when you walked beneath them, as did the street lamps on your way home that evening.  Shadowy objects danced on the edges of your vision, but when you turned your head to look there was nothing, and when you entered your home that evening the hairs on the back of your neck stood up as goosebumps prickled upon your skin and a very unsettling chill raced down your spine.

You didn't get much sleep that night, as your mind was continuously and undeniably drawn to a memory you hadn't thought upon for years.  It was a memory that you were certain had happened sometime during your childhood.  Your parents, siblings, and friends have always denied its occurrence, but deep down you know the truth.  The memory is unique for each of you; though, whether it was in your room talking with your grandfather after he had passed; or that time you had nearly drowned, but at that last moment, when you couldn't hold your breath any longer and your body had no other choice but to breathe water, you found yourself safely sitting at the water's edge; or when you were watching your younger sibling who chased that ball into the street as that bass-booming, texting teenager raced with impending doom upon the place the child stood, doing 75 in a 25 - the brakes were never even applied and the car didn't even swerve - yet, somehow, after that car had gone-by, your sibling was standing, in that exact spot, unscathed, clutching that ball to their chest with bulging eyes the size of baseballs; or any number of other unbelievable tales.

The next morning, amidst the carnage of messed blankets and sheets upon your bed, you found it.  A simple white 2x4 business card.  At first you thought it was blank, but when you picked it up you saw the gold calligraphy.  David Godhand, III.  2014 Hidden Crest Dr., Denver, CO, 80220.  (303) 362-4364.  It was an interesting card, as you soon discovered that you were the only one who could read it.  Whether curiosity got the better of you, or you were compelled, you called the number and before you were more than a minute into the conversation, you were graciously accepting an invitation to fly, all expenses paid, to Denver and to meet with David Godhand the Third.  It was only after you hung up the phone that you noticed, when the sun's rays reflected off the back of the card at just the right angle, a message appeared.  Magic is real.

Please PM me if you have interest.

Thank you.

I'm planning on trying to run a psychological horror/thriller game with a heavy dose of Twilight Zone-esque mystery, and I think a co-GM would be a very nice thing to have to lighten the load and broaden the idea pool.

The Who (PCs) would be a bunch of ordinary people, unconnected, waking up as apparently the only people left in existence.
The Where (Setting), at first, would be a metropolitan city, or the shell of one, before transitioning to stranger places.
The What (Plot) would be environments or scenarios drawing from the characters' subconscious for various purposes.
The Why (Metaplot) is unformed right now, but could benefit from brainstorming.

Help creating/running scenes, managing IC location threads, adjudicating conflicts in Player vs Player or Player vs World, designing and adapting plot progression...everything a solo GM would do, basically, split over two twisted brains instead of one. Details to be discussed with interested volunteers, via PM.

Zillah

I'm planning on running a freeform group game set at an exclusive Las Vegas casino/resort, where extremely rich and beautiful people can openly enjoy hedonistic pleasures without fear of having their exploits being splashed across the tabloids.

The real people running the casino are the entertainment - a hypnotist, and a magician and his sexy assistant - whose powers are quite real, and who can influence the behavior of others. The game would be considered N/C for this reason.

I'd ideally like a co-GM to work with. There's a lot of background stuff to still flesh out, and in case the game gets big I don't want to GM this myself (that's been a problem for me in the past).

PM me if you're possibly interested. Thanks. :)

Zillah

My other current idea for a group game is for a freeform "Mad Max/Escape From New York" inspired post-apocalyptic/dystopian game. Again, there would be a need for some world building and game management, so I'd ideally be looking for a co-GM for this as well.

Since I've gotten no interest in the group RP mentioned above so far, I thought I'd throw out this idea as an alternative.

If interested, please PM me. Thank you.

Seeking One or Two Co-Gms for Modern Fantasy, Freeform, Fanbase Game {Persona III}

Setting

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQUtpuDlZDQ

Story:
Iwatodi city, 2004, most citizens go about their daily lives, unaware of the Dark Hour that exists between one day and the next.  This phenomena happened five years prior within a lab by the Kirito Corporation; which was destroyed through the experimentation regarding a certain entity.  Gekkoukan High School was built over the ruins of where the laboratory once was to cover up the truth of the incident, and only a selected few from its origins know of the reality of that series of events leading to its former destruction and the hidden aftermath upon the city. At a peculiar hour at night, time freezes and the majority of humans are transmogrified into coffins and have no awareness to this timeframe known as the Dark Hour. Only a few gifted individuals are freed from this event, those possessing a concealed power known as Persona.

Personas are the true manifestation of an individual’s character and generally come into existence once that person comes into acceptance of who they are. Those who tend to fight their true selves often find themselves attacked and killed by the phenomena beings known as Shadows-demonic creatures- that run rampant during a full moon phase of the Dark Hour. Unfortunately, these ghastly murders cannot easily be identified and often are passed off to the media as a professional serial killing instead of an ‘unbelievable, supernatural’ incident.

To prevent these disasters from repeating, a few surviving scientists from the incident five years ago have taken their own methods to trying to stop the shadows. Most of them have prove futile and many citizens have become victims through additional experiments involving the intake of drugs to wield ‘persona.’ There is another scientist who strays from that path, using a different approach without the necessary of medication. This person has invented a prototype ‘weapon’ called an Evoker. A gun like item that is fired into the head of an individual to bring out their inner self, known as Persona. Still, this is only achievable if that persona has accepted that side of themselves, otherwise nothing will happen; even if they happen to be able to see the Dark Hour and monsters known as the Shadows that roam it.

Presently a small group has been gathered of students that attend Gekkoukan High, the scientist hopes to acquire more individuals with a similar talent to help in the fight and investigation against the shadows. Also, to assemble a proper party to one day investigate the floors of Tartarus, a massive tower consisting of six blocks and over two hundred floors, that sprouts out of Gekkoukan High School during the Dark Hour. For now the base of operations is The Dorms for those students and possibly any other allies the Scientist may acquire down the journey for truth.

What I Expect

+Activity. I know we all live busy lives, I can relate. I am not going to ask you to be available every single day; though you should be able to get to me or others with pressing concerns within a three-four day frame of any PM sent(unless you stated any away notice.) Also if there are some days you cannot be reached period, let me know. I am understanding to this as I am hardly available every Sunday.

+Ability to write comfortably with all genders and chat OOCly with players; even those that may not be Role-playing a character of their gender. Also, to be comfortable around any variety of sexual scenes that may happen through the RP. I will not ask of you to partake in any events that may not fall under your prefer sexuality, I only wish for you to be accepting of sexuality in general in the roleplay itself and not discriminating to what fellow players may do. Bluntly speaking, I will not tolerate any OOC discrimination in my game.

+Communication. Able to come to me and discuss any concerns and/or ideas. I will get back to you as soonest as I can(better whenever I do sit down at a computer.)  Also,, reflecting on the prior two, you should be able to socialize with others as well.

+Flexibility. Able to take on a variety of roles through the game, even if they are brief roles at that. I will be doing some myself and sometimes it is crucial to have NPC involvement to keep a story going.

+Follower and Enforcer. The rules are there, I do not want any GM breaking rules I established as a core to the game itself and I expect them to be able to handle such. If not the latter, then I want information given to me so that I can handle and address any issues that arise. I honestly don’t mind being the ‘bad guy’ myself if it boils down to it. The rules themselves are things I established that I will be following by and I expect similar given to who else I give power to.

+Excitement for the Setting. This actually goes without saying, but you should at least feel some enjoyment in helping with the game. Even if you are not familiar with Persona series and if you find yourself interested in the concept as a whole, then don’t be afraid in shooting me a PM.
Nice, but Not Mandatory

+Knowledge of Persona or Shin Megami series.

+Also if you want to help in mapping, that is fine. Again, not a requirement, I am mainly working on a few map layouts myself, by few I mean the Dorm and probably the School later for the setting. Other than that, that is about it.
Interested?

Shoot me a PM, I will get back to you ASAP. I will let you know ahead of time that my availability is hard to come by on Sundays, so if there is a delay, my apologies there. Also, I work third shift so my hours on are usually split in half in day and night.

FILLED Thanks

Following my recent poll of which idea for a group game I should pursue, the idea that came out on top was:

The Pony Palace

Human Extreme N/C Freeform Sandbox

This one is a new idea I've been toying with for some time. It is all about Pony Play.

If you don't know what that is, Google it, but not at work or when you family is watching! Basically people dress up in sexy bondage costumes that resemble ponies, and other people train them make them pull carts, reward them with sex, punish them with pain...

The idea is tentative and I require a co-GM or two, but basically my idea is that I run a "pony ranch" with male and female ponies, some there willingly, others not, and rich customers come to the ranch for a ride...

My requirements for a Co-GM are as follows:

  • Interested in Pony Play (obviously)
  • Experienced as a GM or CoGM
  • Willing to do sexual scenes with male players and male characters
  • Have ideas for things to do with ponies other than "the obvious"

I'm more likely to accept people I know, but will  not discriminate against people I don't. I would actually like two Co-GMs for this if possible, please.

I have some ideas already that need to be discussed.

Firstly there are a number of different aspects to Pony Play, which are generally highlighted by the costumes worn by the pony and the "rider".

The number of variants of Pony costume are staggering. Some people prefer to be encased in a skin-tight rubber pony suit, others prefer to be naked apart from their harness. Some ponies like to wear "hoof gloves", some have their hands free and others have their arms bound behind them. Most will wear hoof-boots, but others might go barefoot. Some ponies have a head dress while others will have their own hair made into a mane.

And of course there are tails... Some are strapped to the waist, most are inserted into an orifice...

Then there is the saddle versus the cart. Few pony girls will be strong enough to carry a full grown person on their back for long, but most pony boys would. However a pony play cart is light enough for one person to pull with a driver, and two can pull it with a driver and passenger. We could even have teams of four, although that might be pushing it.

What I need at the moment is someone to help collate ideas I have regarding how to allow people to be selective, both with respect to what their character, as a pony, is "forced" to wear, and what their character, as a "rider", can force the pony to wear.

Please PM me if you are interested and have some ideas.

Please check out my latest A/A post.

Alpha/Beta/Omega

I'm not really looking for a Co-GM, per say, more of a full on GM, since I suck at managing games, and don't have the time to dedicate to running one.  I'd definitely help out though, since yeah, I love being helpful.

The game would center around the Alpha/Beta/Omega trope that's prevalent in fandom, and would be GBLTQA Friendly.  And basically, those are the only things that are required, everything else is up for grabs, if you volunteer for this!

Should probably post that in regular Group Roleplays Wanted, with a specific mention of needing a GM for the game. Your odds of getting interest are a lot higher.

LOST ON THE PLANES

Hello!  I'm looking for a co-GM to help run a Pathfinder game (Lost on the Planes) I'm starting.  The following should be the most pertinent information regarding the game:

  • Handling a group of up to 6 players (with help from me, and probably helping me do the same).
  • Two types of adventure sets: one on board a relatively large sized air/planar ship, and others on the planes they visit (usually in the 'wilderness').
  • Episodic in nature.  Adventures need not be related to one another.  Try something new every time!
  • Won't be as combat heavy as some games.  The main challenge of this game will be the environment (and all those rules that rarely get used) and limited time to get things done in.
  • Adventures can range from anything like treasure hunting, hunting for resources and rare components, find a way to get to the destination they seek, etc...
  • Inputting ideas to help a loosely based plot (which may turn significant).
  • There are four significant NPCs to control, which we could share between us.
  • Posting every 2 to 4 days.  Usually about 2 paragraphs.
  • Be inclusive of every players desires.
  • Stick around for perhaps 3 - 4 (or more) episodes worth of adventures.
  • Be firm, but not inflexible.
I believe those would be the main points.  It would be an advantage if you O/Os encompass a wide variety, beginning with different sexual orientations (if it becomes necessary).  This call is open to multiple people, so not only one person will get the post - you can do a few adventures and quit as is your temperament (though I'll ask not to quit in the middle of an adventure), and even return later if you like.

If you need any other information, please drop me a line!

Best Regards,
SF

I'm thinking about starting a gay village sandbox roleplay, and I could really use a co-mod who's experienced with running roleplays on E. I've moderated a handful of groups on another site, but this would be my first time doing so on E, where things seem a little more serious and seem to run a little differently, so an extra hand would be most appreciated. Even better if you're capable of writing non-m// scenes.

If not that, then at least someone who could give me pointers/suggestions would also be great.

Here's what I have so far:

Our Colorful Neighborhood

Indigo Way is quite the colorful place. Many LGBT people flock to this Chicago neighborhood to live. Here there is no fear of being called disgusting or an abomination, and there is no need to stay in the closet, for everyone here is among their brothers and sisters, and mommas and daddies, of the community. It's become quite the safe haven for many, but, of course, between the hot sex and merry times, the residents have their squabbles--what can you expect from a place full of queens? So, come, the residents of Indigo Way invite you to join in on the fun.

Hi, and welcome! Basically, this is a sandbox roleplay taking place in a fictional gay village in Chicago. Here's the setup at a glance:

Sexualities: The focus is on LGBT individuals, but heterosexuals are welcomed, too!
Smut Level: This roleplay will focus more on story, so conflict and character development are grand. That doesn't mean smut can't happen, but if you're just looking to get your rocks off, another roleplay might work better for you. The RP will be placed in ____. [I was leaning toward bondage because I don't want to limit kink too much, but, personally, I'm more light, and I'm afraid that tagging it as bondage will make everyone expect BDSM. Or am I overthinking this?]
Post Frequency: At least once a week, though it's understandable if real life gets in the way. Just keep us updated. Being gone for more than three weeks, without word, will result in removal.
Post Length: At least two paragraphs.
Writing Style: Third person.
Characters: Humans, aged 18+. Otherwise, all character types are welcomed! Character ideas that could have a substantial impact on the roleplay, though, should probably be run by me first before tackling the skeleton. Up to 2 characters per person, if you can juggle both of them.

Indigo Way, located on the north side of Chicago, is a snug community full of various shops and eateries. Most apartments, such as Crystal Lake Estates, are better suited for the middle class, with an affordable one, called Parker Commons, tucked off in a southern corner, and a luxury high-rise, The Kensington, in the north, closer to the lake.

There will be a club. Otherwise, the exact establishments within the neighborhood can be primarily up to those who want their characters to run them, but for at least the club, there should be some additional player input. There'll be a limit on establishments: they must be unique from each other, so no two restaurants (a coffee shop can be separate from a restaurant) or two clothes stores, for example, and, at least initially, only a few will be accepted so we don't spread ourselves too thin. [Does this sound good?]

The time of the year in which we'll begin is open for discussion, but I'm thinking September or October. We'll begin with some kind of special event to get the ball rolling. With that said, October (obviously) offers Halloween, but if anyone has any alternatives for what events we could use, let's hear 'em!

As far as thread layout, everyone can have a room for their character, if they don't want to room with someone. As far as the other IC threads...[I'm really not sure. I'm used to there being only one IC thread, which would be easier to maintain, but I do wonder about the possibility of this gaining more than a handful of people, in which case one thread might not be such a good fit. But I also don't know how well creating a thread for each establishment would work if everyone were to create a thread for their character, since two threads will be devoted to OOC and characters. Would it be better to wait and see how many people join initially?]

When it comes to time lapses, we'll all stay within a two-hour period. [Or would one hour be better?] I want to give more specifics on how quickly time will progress, but we'll see what the pace looks like when we start.

And that's all I have to say! Questions and suggestions are welcome! [Yes, this could probably use some suggestions!]

I am looking for a Co- GM for a Post Apocalyptic Game. Yes it has Zombies, What's different is that it will not be as Sand boxy as most games and will be controlled heavily by GM Events. Starting from Day 0. So there are A LOT of plot bunnies that will wriggle out during the first 2 days of the out break.

Mainly looking for a Co-Gm to Help Answer Questions, Run NPC Characters, and help in planning and executing GM Events. I have some experience running games on E but never something with that big of a scale. So I will need some help from someone, Preferably someone who will be Good at playing the Female NPCs As I have little to no experience playing female NPCs.

I'm looking for a Co-GM to help out with a slighty silly and definately smutty idea that I've been kicking around my head.  A small group who look down on the 'geeks & nerds' that attend sci-fi\comic book conventions, but they end up agreeing to attend one, just to prove how much better they are. The game won't be focused on that group, but they act as a catalyst for all manner of things that then end up happening at the convention.

So I'm looking someone both to act as sounding board for ideas and to help set up the convention, npc's etc.
If found acting like an idiot, apply Gibbs-slap to reboot system.

Well an idea has been picking at my mind for a while. It is based in a Medieval fantasy world, where a formerly peaceful city, neutral in the wars that surrounded it due to it's prime trading capabilities is attacked and occupied by a barbarian force that came out of nowhere. An occupation RP, with people perhaps playing an underground resistance, criminal underworld fighting for it's own gains, the occupiers, and maybe even a royal family, being held hostage by the occupying army. With a plot surrounding getting the royal family free and out of the city, I think it has a lot of potential both as a sandbox RP with a decent plot behind it.

I would be needing Co-GMs both to help me out with the world building as well as to help out with creating the premise for the underlaying plot. I know it's an ambitious project, which is why I feel a little daunted taking it on by my own.

Do you have a system in mind?

So are you wanting players to be from different factions, or are you just unsure which side you wish them to be on?

I'm after a male player or female player who plays male characters, preferably someone I've written with before, to play a specific character in a Western group game I'm thinking of running. This character is pivotal to the plot and the player will be co-GM on the basis that he will know what is going to happen and will help me implement it.

The character's name is Daniel Gator and the face claim is Lee Van Cleef.

The character is a widower with a daughter in her late teens or early twenties, so he is going to be in his 40s. He is a wealthy rancher and land owner in West Texas in 1874. He is an ex colonel in the Confederate Army. His grandfather fought alongside Sam Houston in the Texian War of Independence against Santa Anna and later founded the town of Gator's Crossing, where the story is set.

Gator owns the GX Ranch which occupies much of the land to the South of the town. To the North are a number of smaller ranches and homesteads.

And Dan Gator is not a nice man! In fact, one of the reasons I chose Lee Van Cleef as the face for him is because, quite simply, he's the bad guy!

If you are interested in the role, please PM me and I will discuss the plot with you, which you need to know in advance in order to carry it out.

There is a recruitment thread for the game, here: https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=226796.0

I need a co-GM to play as a rebel leader role in my new group idea. Character can be male or female, though I admit when I first envisioned the story I did sort of imagine a tall, dark, mysterious, devilishly handsome, gentleman thief sort of character, BUT that is far from being set in stone. As for the co-GM's gender, I don't give a rat's behind. Male, female, flying monkey, as long as we can work together to make a really awesome story.

Here is the link to the story, Bloodstains and Ballgowns:
https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=227980.0

The rebel leader and my character will sort of end up being the masterminds, the two characters that nearly everyone ends up interacting with, if perhaps only indirectly. There's plenty that needs to be worked out. Send me a message if you're interested, and I can tell you more of my current thoughts, and we can start brainstorming the rest of the story.
When you message me, please use the same message thread every time.

I'm sure you've had similar RP experiences in D&D\Pathfinder type settings, the party of heroes wanders into a small village in the middle of nowhere on the very edge of civilization. Within one or two days ride of the village you can find an orcish horde, an undead infested castle, roaming packs of wolves that four times larger than normal and then of course there is the ancient dragon in the mountains. With all of these dangers surrounding it the village should have been wiped out many times over but it has been perfectly safe for as long as anyone can remember, which is odd. The other odd thing about the village is how well stocked with supplies it is, the blacksmith always has a spare magic sword that's just perfect for your next quest and also he's more than capable of adjusting and repairing even the most magical armour. If the blacksmith is that good why isn't he making a fortune working for the King in the capital instead of living in the arse end of nowhere?

What if the village was more of a high fantasy theme park? Imagine that an elite group of blacksmiths, necromancers, herbalists, illusionists etc. moved to village decades ago as way to make easy money? The blacksmith charges twice the rates he would in the capital because there is no competition. The undead infested castle keeps getting re-infested because the necromancer reanimates the bodies each time a party of heroes visits. The oversized wolves are bred in pens under the village. And as for the crappy little hovels everyone lives in? They are just for show, the villagers real homes are hidden by powerful illusions and are more opulent than any hero could ever imagine, elementally powered indoor plumbing and heating etc.

I'm looking for someone to bounce ideas off for the "What happens next..", if the village is a well organized money making machine, what kind of things might happen to throw the equilibrium out of balance?
If found acting like an idiot, apply Gibbs-slap to reboot system.

I'm looking for a co-GM - at least one! - for a freeform group RP that I've been developing for awhile. It'd be a sort of "behind the scenes" soap opera-ish look at a porn studio, and what happens there when the cameras are (and aren't) rolling. Kind of like "Boogie Nights", except set in modern times, and not nearly as dark. I'd also potentially like this to be a LGTBQ-inclusive (and friendly) RP as well.

What I have in mind may be something of a sprawling monstrosity, so I don't think I'll be able to manage and organize all of it myself. I'd also really like to be able to bounce ideas off someone else in a collaborative fashion. Ideally, I'm looking for a creative partner, as fully invested in this as I will be.

Anyway, if interested, or if you have questions, please PM me. Thanks!

TAKEN

Sudden inspiration....

I was looking at the "players seeking groups" board, and one ad there resonated. Someone seeking an all-female sci-fi game. I have joined a number of sci-fi games, both all-girl and mixed, and the problem has always been that they are set on a small ship with a limited crew and people drop out, leaving big glaring holes in the game.

And then I had an idea, based on one I'd been thinking on anyway.

What if the all-female group were an army (or marine) unit, actually engaged in combat when the game opens?

Infantry units are usually "open TO", which means that they have a flexible structure. This is specifically to account for combat losses. If a platoon of 30 soldiers looses half it's strength, it gets amalgamated with another platoon that has also lost half it's strength.

And a company can be anything from three to ten platoons, giving masses of scope for NPCs and new players to join.

Drop-outs? Hey we're in combat. Casualties happen! Just because you're in your fox-hole fucking your oppo in the middle of the night, doesn't mean that sniper can't still shoot you dead, or that a sudden artillery barrage isn't going to land nearby and you take a nice bit of shrapnel! And of course there are the actual combat casualties - most of whom would be NPCs...

So, the setting would be a future war on some world or other - possibly even Earth. I would make it human vv human. Sorry but the human vv alien theme has been over-worked. The actual background to the war and the politics behind it are all totally irrelevant, as is the overall grand-strategic situation. We have a battalion of women all fighting for whatever reason. The setting is in fact irrelevant in terms of what world they are on.

I would most likely play the company commander (and all officers of higher rank as NPCs), and possibly a buck private. I would also play most of the enemy troops.

I would need someone to play the Company Sergeant Major (CSM), who would also be in charge of the NPCs on our side as well as any enemy movements delegated.

You also have the option of playing a second low-ranking character if you wish.

If this tickles your fancy, please send me a PM?

Please check out my latest A/A post.

Hello I am looking for someone to help me make a game. :)
the idea I have is a fantasy island type idea.

The base idea for the game is this island has been made for fantasy beings to go to get away from humans, this island has many locations for the being to live and is spelled so that no humans can find it unless they are invited. It also changes in shape and size as more people move to it, so it can handily any amount of people.
(idea can be improved this is just a base line idea)

the island is home to any kind of fantasy being a few would be:
vampires, were-wolves, elves, dwarfs, nekos, anthros, dragons, weres, witches, wizards, mages, gods, goddess, merfolk, shifters, shape shifters, phoenix, trolls, giants, fairy's, fae and any others people an think of.

Now there are a mix of locations for it:
The school (for beings of any age, to go and learn to use there power, ot teach if they want)
The town (where there are shops for everything someone could want, and new ones opening all the time)
The beach
The forest
the desert
the mountains,
the caves

and any other which can be thought off.

Open to ideas and help in making this game, would need someone who has started a game on here before. This is my first time making one, so I would need help in how to do so.

I hope someone would like to help me :) please pm if you do :)

1) Looking for a Co-GM to help me build the Grimm'verse

2) Looking for my Co-GM to take the lead in at least one group game of their own. I would create the initial threads with some input from you because it would be your game to lead.  I would play the role of some NPC's in the story/setting but you would take the lead overall in it.

3) It would be up to you how you wanted to run the game you'd lead.  IE:  System, Freeform, Guided, etc... And I would help you create the story, setting, and create a couple NPC's for my use in your game as needed.

4) The Goal is to get a game going for every realm and maybe a few others. Then place them all under a single sub-board for the entire Grimm'verse under the banner of "Grimm Fairy Tales Presents..." (GFTP)

5) I should mention that all my games are always LGBT friendly so if that's a problem don't bother contacting me.

The main thing that I ask is that we loosely stick to the canon of the Grimm'verse. It's pretty simple and I can easily tell you everything you need to know and provide information as needed. Mostly I'm just trying to stick to the mood/environment and basic lore where needed.

Note: The games are currently in Extreme section. Not because of the kinks but mostly just to cover all the bases. Some worlds like Wonderland can be pretty bloody and I just didn't want to restrict player kinks so they could have fun with it all.

This is what I told my players previously about sex/kinks in threads:
QuoteEveryone can be as naughty as they want in the threads.  Just be sure to Tag your threads well.
Feel free to add to the tag "NSFW" or something to the posts with sexy scenes.
Then it will be up to the others if they wish to read it or not, at their own risk.

I don't think anything to crazy will happen with this group.  But if the issue of Non Con, hardcore BDSM, Scat/Bathroom Play, Bestiality, or the extremes like that happen then people can just drop them into spoilers. Sometimes even characters have dreams.  :P

Here is a brief glimpse at the "Realms" of the Grimm'verse:   (Click Me)

See Below for links to the Group Games currently being played:

(GM) GFTP: Madness of Wonderland (Group - Guided Freeform) - Extreme
Grimm Fairy Tales Presents... Set in the Grimm Fairy Tales comic book verse, this is a tale of mystic powers, fairy tale realms, and specifically the Madness of Alice's Wonderland. A group of college students are brought to a tea party and introduced to their parents lineage by being thrust into the surreal and insane landscape of Wonderland.  Beware the Jabberwocky!

(GM) GFTP: Arcane Acre (Group - Guided Freeform) - Extreme
Grimm Fairy Tales Presents... Set in the Grimm Fairy Tales comic book verse, this is a tale of mystic powers, fairy tale realms, and specifically a sort of Prep School for the young powerful future heroes. A place where Realm Knights are trained. The tend classes, get themselves into trouble, fall in love(or lust), and generally have adventures.

GnothiSeauton

First and foremost, I'll start off by saying that I don't absolutely need a Co-GM on this one.  It would be really, really nice to have one, someone to bounce ideas off of and to help share the load of keeping this game running, dealing with NPCs and generating ideas and interest.  But I'm not desperate for a Co-GM.

The Church of the Sacred Union is an extreme group solo based around a group of religious fanatics which believe in the sacredness of Incest.  This patriarchal society also takes in, or "saves" as they call it, people from the world beyond the walls of the Church (called Outsiders).

The game has been launched a few months ago back in April.

We're very close to 650 IC Posts.  We hit 500 in less than two month.

We have a large cast, and a bunch of writers, so you're not going to get bogged down in a tidal waves of sheets to approve.

I'd just really appreciate someone who can come in and help run it with me.  Someone active, who can do up some characters, or NPCs, and just help me with getting others active and running events with me.  I've got a few ideas for events already in mind and already planned.  I would also really like for this person to have some experience writing with me, in groups or solos, someone I can trust and work with instead of a stranger (though I'd be more than welcoming of strangers' proposals).

Like I said, I'm not desperate for a co-GM.  It's something that I want, but I'm not going to say yes to anyone and everyone who shows interest.  It has to be a right and good fit.
If I can't have you, my love...  I'll destroy you

Monitoring the OOC thread and helping sort questions that may arise
Communicating with the GM

You will be allowed to have a PC if you want.

I am looking for a co-host to help me get this concept off of the ground. This is a game based off of the party game Mafia with a werewolf twist.

I am looking for someone who can help me build a nice and coherent plot surrounding this role-play, as well as bounce ideas and what I currently have for it against. Ideally I am not looking for a yes man/woman. I want someone who can critique what I have got so far, and help improve my work.

Please PM if you are interested in applying for the co-host position of:
Red Moon

In Red Moon, players are on the clock. Every post counts, and time will advance based on it, as every 2-3 pages in the IC (In Character Thread) will result in a change in the time of day. The only exception for this is during Trial. When the time of day changes either I, or a co-host, will post to indicate such, which will be sounded by the tolling of the Town's Church's Bell. The game is played in four cycles, morning, afternoon and evening, and night. These phases shall be further explained below:

Morning [05:00 - 11:59]: During the morning, characters will either find corpses dragged from homes and examined, or nothing will happen. After examination, this will give the villagers plenty of time to muster their thoughts on the matter, as they will be called to the Town Hall at Noon.
Afternoon [12:00 - 17:59]: At noon, the Town will be ordered to attend a Trial, which are explained further below. Once the trial is over, the town will be given the rest of the afternoon off to do as they please.
Evening [18:00 - 22:59]: During evening, the Town will continue to play as they please, however they must prepare themselves for the following phase: night.
Night [23:00 - 04:59]: When night ultimately falls, the Town's curfew will come into effect, and all town residents will return to their homes. No IC activity occurs during night, as during the night, characters with special roles are able to use them during this phase. This phase will be communicated through the GM. Night will end when the GM posts in the IC to start the next morning.

Trial:Trial occurs at noon. Once a Trial starts, the rule of time progression in the roleplay is briefly paused as the town must then attempt to lynch someone whom the town suspects is a Werewolf, or in turn reach no majority vote or rather simply not vote to skip an execution. Votes will be held via a Poll added to the IC. Once a verdict has been reached, the voted character will plead their case of innocence. After this, a final vote is held to determine the character's fate. The other player characters either vote innocent or guilty, or in turn abstain from voting. If found innocent, the character returns to their seat and another vote will be attempted to bring someone up to the lynch (this can only be done once per day.) If found guilty, the player's character will be executed, and their role will be revealed.

*Disclaimer: During the first morning, all is calm, and no-one knows that the Red Moon will rise until evening. As such, there will be no trial, and characters should have no reason to be suspicious of each other. Once the Red Moon has been spotted in the sky, an event will occur which will fill all the characters in on the context needed.

Three factions are trying to work their way to a victory clause: the Werewolves are trying to kill anyone who opposes them while the Villagers are trying to rout out evildoers. As for the neutral parties, they each have their own agenda and work to suit this track.

Remember, it is important to keep your roles close to your chest and secretive - you do not know who you can inherently trust. You should be careful on who you reveal this information too.

The Werewolves: The werewolves are the main antagonists of this game. Within this faction, there is only one role:
1 - Werewolf: A werewolf is a killing role. At night, the werewolves will be instructed to kill 1 player character. In Red Moon, there will be 1 werewolf per 5 players. Only one werewolf may perform the killing, and the werewolves must decide this.

The Villagers: The villagers are the main protagonists. Within this faction there are a number of roles:
1 - Villager: A villager is a benign role. They do not gain any special benefits at night. The vast majority of players will be Villagers.
2 - Constable: A detective is an investigative role. During night, they will target a player to investigate, and will learn that player's role. There will be 1 Constable per 2 Werewolves.
3 - Priest/ess: A priest is a protective role. During night, they will target a player to heal. If that player would die during the night, the priest will prevent that death. There can be a maximum of 2 clergy.
4 - Escort: An escort is a protective role. During that night, they will target a player to prevent their role. If that person is a werewolf, the escort will die instead of the werewolf's target. An escort may optionally trigger a sex scene with a non-werewolf player (should said other player be willing to reciprocate.) There may only be 1 escort.
5 - Medium: A medium is an investigative role. A medium may hear the whispers of the dead at night. Furthermore, upon death, they may channel themselves as a ghost to speak to a player at night once. There may only be 1 escort.
6 - Hunter: A hunter is a killing role. A hunter will fight off and kill visitors. They can only go on alert 3 given times, and should they kill an innocent, they will commit suicide on the following turn. There may be up to 2 Hunters.
7 - Scout: A scout is an investigative role. A lookout can visit a house and watch who comes to visit that house that night.

The Others:The neutral roles are players who do not follow the normal win conditions of the werewolves or the villagers. They have their own win conditions to pursue. Each role is exclusive and there will only be one of each per village.
1 - Lunatic: A lunatic is a neutral evil role. The lunatic is a deranged and doomed individual who only wins if their character is executed at a lynch.

2 - Alien: An alien is a neutral evil role. An alien must probe 5 player characters during sex scenes. Once the alien has done so, they will win regardless if they die or not.

3 - Drunk: A drunk is a neutral benign role. If a drunk is killed by a werewolf, the werewolves become tipsy the next night and are unable to act. When a drunk dies they will be disclosed as a villager.

Sex is an important part of Elliquiy and adult Role-Playing, however based on the given nature of how time works for Red Moon, it may seem completely implausible to do and enjoy doing so. As a result, sex scenes will not occur in the IC thread, but rather a Sex Scene Thread. Players may post to their heart's content and enjoy each other's characters as much as they like without worrying about time passing in these sex scene threads. In terms of IC threads, you would do best mentioning in someone's post that they are taking their partner, and your next IC post should reflect their aftersex state.

I'm looking for a co-GM that's more familiar with the Pathfinder system than myself. I have (what I think is) a cool idea and started working on it in the World Building forum. Here's the link.

What I Need Help With
~Creating NPCs to interact with
~Possibly a map/visual representation?
~Allocating stats for the bosses, as well as normal monsters
~General aid and someone who can answer any questions I have

I realize that might seem like a lot, but it's not as bad as it seems. I promise. I'm not looking for someone to hold my hand or anything. I just need a partner that can help guide me through the process of GMing my first D&D game. I can usually catch on pretty quick after the first time something is explained to me.

Thank you!

Position seems to be filled.
This doesn't have to end in a fight, Buck.
It always ends in a fight.
You pulled me from the river. Why?

Here I am again, looking for anyone interested in helping me with GMing my game ideas. I'm just going to post all the links to each idea, and people can pick which ideas they like the best and would like to be involved with. A few ideas, I've done all I can do with and just think a fresh set of eyes might help. Other ideas, are just that. Ideas. I don't really have anything else with them because I don't know where to go from there.

I'm NOT looking to start these games in the immediate future. Lots of people that know me, know I like to get as many details out of the way before I parade around a finished product.

HUGE thank you in advance to anyone/everyone who decides to help me. ^^

Sephie's Steampunk Idea - Just the opening post and that's all I have.
Mahoutokoro School of Magic - Potterverse idea. I have A LOT of information for this game.
Defenders of Earth (Marvelverse) - Marvel themed world idea. Not too much information; just basics.
Anvia - I've tried to get this game going for over a year with no luck. I'll take any help I can get because I built this world from scratch myself.
Sephie's Zombie Idea - Might be close to completion?
Sephie's First Attempt at a System Fighting Game - Kind of self-explanatory. Someone who is knowledgeable with systems would be extremely helpful for this.
Rare Breeds - Mutant sandbox game, similar to Deviations: The Outbreak which was run by RampantDesires and Adonis before it closed down.
Shadowrun - Again, just an opening and nothing more. Pretty much just a placeholder to remind me that I want to create a Shadowrun game.

So, there you have it! If you're interested, just PM me with the name of the thread you'd like to help with. If it's more than one, that's fine. I'll adjust the list accordingly.

Thank you again. :-)

My muse has been ridiculously uncooperative, pretty much demanding something Swords and Sandals with fantasy mixed in. I've written out a basic concept for the world (Based on the Roman Empire, but as if it were a different universe, with magic, God-Kings and Olympians.). Gladiators, politicians, soldiers, intrigue, drama, sex and a looming danger from the north. I'm looking for 2, maybe three co-GMs because of the size and scope of the game, and I wanted to institute a basic dice-based combat system, as it will be inevitable that two characters face off in combat, and I wanted to make it fair. Anyways, if you're interested, shoot me a PM and I'll share what I have with you.

Thanks for reading! :)

Please bear with me as this is the first time I've posted a game idea. However I do have massive experience with owning successful forums. I'm interested in a co-GM because I have no clue how to even begin doing this. However I'd like to point out that I won't be very picky on who joins the game. I don't plan on changing rules and I welcome any sub-plots with the general setting. Including straight who their parents think are gay. Straight who maybe pretended to be gay in oder to go to the school to be with their best friend. Like I said I'm not very picky. My character sheet would also be more like a fun interview type thing, where as the character you would answer the questions. That being said. Please take a look and let me know if you're interested.
We have rights too

Ladies and gentlemen I would like to welcome you to the one and only cure for your gay children, also known as the wonderful name of Jamison Clarke Preparatory Academy. Just the name sounds like a bad idea waiting to happen. What do you think is going to happen when the only cure to your child being gay is sending them to a school filled with nothing but GAY kids? Now that is a cure that you can put my name on the list for. So welcome to the school that has just about everything you could ever dream of. No more wondering if the girl you like or the boy you like might be gay just like you, because, well, THEY ARE...JAMISON CLARKE PREPARATORY HOME OF THE KNIGHTS!

Preparatory School for ages 16-21. Preparing them for the world, giving them college credits, whilst scrubbing the gay away!
General Plot
So we hear that you have a major problem. Has your son just told you
that he no longer wanted to play football and has been seeing another
boy for who knows how long? Did you catch your daughter making out
with another girl on the couch only to find out that she was not into boys
like you thought she was? Is this something that you feel that you can
not handle? Do you fear that your child has caught the gay disease....?

The gay disease? Is that what they are calling it these days? I did not
know that what I had was a disease. Did you know that my liking girls
while being a girl myself is a disease? My parents think it's like Cancer and these
people seem to think that they have an answer. Lets read on and see
what the brilliant plan to cure me is, shall we?

We here are Jamison Clarke Prepatory School feel that we have the
answer to all of your problems. Our school prides itself on being able
to put young boys and girls back on the right path and pull them out
of this dark place they have been sucked into. We want to make sure
that you can have the child back that you always knew that you had.

So basically, my mom and dad are going to send me to a school
filled with other girls who like girls for an entire year or however
long it takes until my disease is gone? Does that make sense to
any of you? Throwing a bunch of gay kids together is not the
cure to this problem they feel they have, but all I can say is...

SIGN ME UP
this is going to be one hell of a year...

RULES:
1. Character sheets will be needed in order to be accepted into the game play. If a GM has any questions on your sheet they will contact you.
2. We will have a face claim sheet, in order to keep others from using the face you claim. Only celebrities. No cartoons or animae.
3. Names can confusing yes. We ask that you pick a first, middle and last name for your character in case there is someone else who has the same first name, we should be able to tell the difference between one character and another.
4. Character limits. For now I'd like to keep it at one character for every possible sorting, simply because there are plenty of people that like to make a million characters, claim faces and names and it leaves little room for others to join us. Plus it gets annoying. So if we have 5 sortings, you should only have 5 characters. This includes GMs.
5. Teachers,Professors or staff can have relationships with their students however the school will fire that staff member. So please keep that in mind if you're going to have a plot with that angle.
6. No god-modding, this is a given.
7. Ideas are always welcomed so please don't be afraid to share them with your GM.
- will add more rules if I can think of them.

Lunar Raven

I'm in the mood to GM a Pathfinder or D&D 5 game based on exploration of a post-apocalyptic fantasy world (basically the nature reset button got pressed).  Unfortunately, all all my group games to date have show is that sometimes (read often in my context) RL gets in the way and I'm away for an extended period of time.  As can be expected, any game without it's GM withers and goes out with a whimper.  Technically, I'm looking for a Co-GM who can keep things going should I ever suffer such an absence in the midst of running a game, otherwise, they're welcome to be a player.  Any decision made, I'll be willing to roll with, unless it's supremely silly (as in Looney Toons style silly :P)

The idea I had is as follows:
An Atlantis-like multi-racial humanoid civilisation has escaped destruction by protecting their city with an energy dome that has kept them impervious to all outside harm.  Outside the dome, an asteroid hit crashed, precipitating nearly a 1,000 years of darkness.  From sheer fear, even when the skies began to clear up, people still didn't venture outside due to the fear ingrained into them over centuries.  But at last, the dome can't last forever, and it's power source has began to give out.

Now scouts are being sent out by airship to see what has become of the new world.

A group of players will be in charge of one such elemental airship, sent on missions (some specific, others open-ended) by the newly established Pathfinder Council who has been tasked with establishing human interest in the world beyond.  There are mysteries to be discovered, challenges to be overcome, dangers to surmount and such.  I'm thinking episodic runs, though occasionally a 'super-adventure' could take place.  The idea is basically having fun and adventure!

Anyone want to help out, just PM me and we can discuss things.  Thanks!

What if the fertility among werewolf females is dwindling down to like critical 'time to freak out' levels, ok? So, secretly... werewolves in high positions are having young human females tested all over the globe for compatibility and fertility and the ones that come back with the best results are sent an all expenses paid full scholarship to this amazing incredible boarding school college for young adults.

From there, the ladies that show up will discover that there is a catch to keep their amazing once in a lifetime scholarships for this dazzling education... all the male students in attendance are werewolves of the highest standing and virility... and they need mates in order to keep their highborn bloodlines going... so, if the females allow themselves to be courted and eventually marked by one these males within their first year there, they may keep the scholarship and continue attendance with all the benefits and perks of a high society wolf's mate.

Let the courtships begin...

Looking for, or would like to discuss at the very least, the possibility for a GM in one of the following...

Retro Incest Church - This would be a sort of beginning/prequel group based on the group called The Church of the Sacred Union (see my signature).  Right now, the group is dead pretty much, set in modern times.  I would be open to trying to revitalize that, however, what I would really like to do is to possibly do a version of it set in the past.  Maybe when the Church is first starting, or when they first bring in nonbelievers to be brainwashed and tortured into the Church.  Some retconing is possible.

Zombie Prison - I've had a bit of a craving for a post-apocalyptic story, but I'm not crazy enough to do a group on my own.  One of the ideas that I have is based around a group of survivors, civillians and inmates/guards, in a prison/jail set right around the beginning of everything.  I think it could be fun to explore that breaking down of society, and letting go of the lives of the old world.  Right now, I have a whole lot of stuff written up for it, including a history thing, rules, character sheets, etc.  Just need another pair of eyes and someone to offer advice in addition to helping run the group.

BDSM/Kink Smut - Again, like with above, I have most everything written out for it.  I thought of a group that's really laid back, focused around a private retreat for people who have kinks or fetishes and just need to explore or sate them.  Modern set, with more affluent characters and willing guests/unknowns invited to join and participate.  I had a sort of listing of activities planned and written up.  Would love to find a partner to help possibly run this and help organize things.

All in all, I'm looking for an experienced partner, one who has had a group before in the past, and someone who is easy to work and get along with.  I would prefer someone with whom I've written with in the past, but am more than open to new people.

Edit:  I'm looking for someone to help run these games with me.  This would include helping to handle character approvals, helping to further flesh out the world and bounce ideas off of, sharing the load in terms of writing GM NPCs and other important characters that are vital to the story, and so on.
If I can't have you, my love...  I'll destroy you

Seeking New Stories

Welcome to the Coven
Style: Freeform
Content Level: Extreme
Genres: Southern Gothic. Magical Realism. Supernatural. Family Saga.

Plot Summation: The last generation of witches have already been born. Centuries of witch hunts by outsiders, religious conversions both forced and voluntary, a genetic mutation of infertility, and mass killings fueled by various civil feuds between rival covens have heralded their looming extinction. The elders of the last coven in the United States have decided to laugh in the face of death rather than quietly see their kind extinguished. They seek out every person with even a drop of witch's blood that they can find and welcome them home. And offer them a chance at immortality.

Co-GM Responsibilities:

  • Activity & Communication: Remember that real life always comes first, but I am looking for someone reliable. I need someone that should typically be able to post once a week and available to respond to PMs in a timely manner.
  • LGBT Friendly: This is non-negotiable. My Co-GM has to be comfortable with both M/M and F/F content and the possibility of characters not adhering to a binary concept of gender.
  • Worldbuilding: I've got the atmosphere and a general plot hook of the story figured out, but I need help fleshing out everything else. I need someone that will contribute their own ideas and make this story as much their own as it is mine. It'll be collaborative.
  • Character Creation: I'm looking for someone able to create and write a character or two that will be available for interaction with player characters and contribute to plot progression. Well developed, interesting characters to help drive things forward. Ideally this means my co-GM will write an elder of the Coven alongside my own elder characters.

Mahoutokoro School of Magic

Looking for: At most, 2 other GMs; need at least one.

Requirements: Must enjoy Potterverse, obviously. Must be helpful, and be a team player. Give constructive criticism, and have the ability to be flexible. It is entirely possible that I would need you to take on more responsibilities, should I be away for a period of time. (This will not be a 100% sure thing. I'm just clarifying that sometimes life does get in the way of things.) Communication, especially with me, is non-negotiable. GMs need to work together for a game to run smoothly. Please PM me so I can give more in depth information regarding certain game aspects!!

Bonus points for: Any GM experience with group games that have been running for 4 months, or more.

Projected start date: May or June. I will be moving this month (April), so things will be pretty chaotic until we settle down. Plus, it will allow time for any alterations to the game as well as finishing character sheets.

Extra Info: I've done pretty much all the work on this game by myself. (With a little help from a few other members, as well as info taken from wiki pages.)

Okay, hopefully I've found the right place to put this up.

The Guild: The True Sons of Japan

The original thread I put up for this rp is Here. But, I was advised that it looked more like an advertisement for a game rather than a request for a CO-GM or advice. However, you can look at it to get some of the details of what I planned. Here, I'll give the TL;DR version:

In the Multiverse, there exists an organization simply calling itself "The Guild". They go from one universe to another, setting up a sort of network for people of extraordinary talents & abilities (I.E. Adventurers, Superheroes, etc) to be able to collaborate their efforts, trade resources, find training, services, and for those that would be in need of such individuals to find and contact them.

Those who join The Guild would be able to enjoy certain legal perks, such as the ability to travel to any country/planet/etc without a passport or green card. Other perks depend solely on the member's certifications, such as the ability to act as a legal representative, and even a license to kill for those who complete combat-oriented certification.

What I want to do with this rp is to actually begin a continuity that would involve a multitude of characters, settings and even branch out to different universes. This continuity will contain a mix of original and canon elements, as I want the players to have as much freedom as possible as to who they can play and where they can go, etc. So, the plots of these continuities would simply revolve around the adventures its members have, and how the presence of The Guild and its members activities affect the worlds they're based in.

The Plot & Setting Of This RP

This particular rp will be set on a Modern Fantasy version of Earth. Here, supernatural elements such as magic, creatures like Elves, Dwarves, exist, but knowledge of their existence various between regions and countries. For example, a man living in Germany may not realize the attractive woman he's been eyeing is actually an elf. Meanwhile, in Japan, while people are more aware of the existence of the supernatural, their inability to sense supernatural phenomenon, as well as most creatures' esoteric nature, keeps its existence out of the public eye.

The plot is as follows: The Guild has established a branch in this world about two years ago. However, society is still adjusting to its existence. Japan, for example has seen several Guild members flock to the island nation, some for professional reasons, and others being otaku using their Guild membership to finally visit the country and live out certain desires.

Recently, Japan has gone into a state of civil unrest with the rise of  Nihon no Shin No Musuko-Tachi. Meaning "The True Sons of Japan", they are a group of nationalist extremists who wish to drive all foreigners and foreign influence from Japan, and reestablish a society like that of Edo period Japan. To accomplish this, its members have taken to the streets, attacking foreigners -be them tourist, immigrant, or people of mixed birth- attacking establishments bearing foreign influences of any sort and other heinous acts.

Despite their extremist views, the nationalist have managed to garner a shocking amount of support, as branches of this group have appeared all over Japan. This has the nation divided between those who wish to "purge" the foreigners, and those who either sympathize with their victims, or just don't want anything to do with the extremists.

Thus, the players will be taking the role of either a Guild member, a regular citizen that are attempting to figure out how to quell this movement before anymore damage can be done.

What I need help with

Okay, I've never actually run a successful group RP before coming here, and apparently there's a standard format. So, I need a CO-GM to help me get a sense of how to run this game efficiently: Managing the game and making sure the players are getting along and following the rules, running the NPCs (especially the enemies), fleshing out the actual plot of the rp itself to keep things running.

There's also a last detail. I plan to have a character in this roleplay and I already have a direction for his storyline to play out, which would include a harem/polyamorous angle for the romance. While the harem bit would be the focus for my character's romance angle, I don't want to make things come off as the harem being the sole focus of the story, and potentially alienate players who might want their own storyline and the like.

At the same time, I don't want people to come and sort of interfere with my character's romance angle. So, I'd like some advice on how to reach a proper compromise. So far I have the idea of allowing characters who want to do their own thing, just as long as they don't interfere with the romance of other players (unless those other players are okay with that).

Hopefully this explains everything properly. if there's anything missing, or you have other questions, just shoot me a PM and I'll try to clear things up.

Anyone willing to be a fresh set of eyes for this game of mine?

You wouldn't have to co-GM, unless you wanted to. I just need someone to look over and catch mistakes. Also, I need help with some timeline stuff for a background plot.

Hey, I would love to do a roleplay if it's no to late.

Jezabelle

I'm getting ready to start my grand strategy game, it's Japan themed and we've got leaders for all but 1 of the 6 Clans.

I can easily handle 100% of the mechanical aspect but I think it would be good to have a 2ndary GM to make rulings, point out someone's issued an impossible order so no time is wasted with me telling them that then waiting, and playing NPC for those in need of someone to RP with during downtime.

Crunch updates will be twice weekly but you wouldn't need to be have any hand in processing those.  Two posts\week RPing with people\playing the NPC to them would be good, however.  Particularly focusing on players whose RP is geographically isolated so they don't begin to feel left out before the Clans congeal through conquest.

I'm looking for some Co-GMs for a Westmarches style 5e game called Dark Hearts.

Thank you!

Hello all,

I'm looking for a co GM for a diskworld based RP. I haven't put anything up yet but am hashing out the back story. I don't know if I will get any interest but just want to give it a shot.

The part that I will need help with most is creating a basis character sheet. I already run a game elsewhere but the sheets I've done up to now have been very basic and with this we are going to need in depth chapter sheets.

If your interested please PM me

Thank you xx

Christine Feehan's Carpathian Dark Series

I'm thinking about a luxury retreat specifically intended for those with psychic abilities to go and relax away from the mundane world that would judge and/or do them harm if they knew the truth about them.

This retreat would be run by a carpathian male and his lifemate, which would be me and my co gm likely as npcs, if not 'main cast' characters, I'd like for this to have a very sandbox-ish feel to it, making it very easy for people with tough schedules or newcomers to jump right on in and have a great time.

I am flexible on the retreat idea, it's just the only thing I've thought of thus far. Please feel free to share ideas even if you aren't interested in being my co-gm. I welcome the advice and ideas.

Hit me up via PM or my discord LamentingQuill#1394 to express interest in working on this concept alongside me. If you hit me up via discord, just let me know you're from E and who you are.

Roleplay Frog

Heya. I want a Co-DM taking the lewd, villainous npc role for a pathfinder game experience I'm slowly but steadily planning out.

Planning details are as of now very much still open, but the gist of it is that
1- I think it could add an extra level of tension for the players and keep things energized
2- I like erotica, but I find myself enjoying the world and lorecrafting more.

Basically, I'd need you to be active, decently knowledgable in pathfinder D&d things and happy being the bad-guy that gets to molest the halpless players.
Bonus points for villainous speeches.
Pm me up and we can discuss detailings.

I'm prone to flares of illness and struggle with event planning, so I would need a Co-GM that can manage on their own should I need to take a small break and that is decent at event planning. I don't intend on leaving my Co-GM to create and manage every event on their own, but I tend to take on more than I can chew and I need someone who can say "No, we can't handle that, we need to dial it back" or someone who can say "Let's go bigger, I'm here to help take up the slack".

The Seven
Link to work in progress: Here.

Looking for a co-GM, to spitball Ideas and help me shape a "deadly" sins, VS "holy" virtue role play into something that everyone can have fun with, Here is the plot I have (Same as link atm.). I think I have the general Idea, at this point I really need help thinking of settings and with more of the "actual" world building and opinions on limits. Meaning like deciding on a place/city/setting to have all of this go on. This will be a 14 person role play, NOT including myself and co-gm.

I can be a bit quiet, just shoot me a message though I'm pretty friendly and would love opinions and Ideas.

The seven have existed for as long as time itself, they are in everything, they are good and evil. They’ve been called animals, angels, demons, gods. They have had many vessels and lived many life’s. They fight over balance and control over the world, seeking to tip it in their favor, control it, and inflict their will as they see fit. The Seven are a part of nature, they are Sin and Virtue. Seven of each, opposites, distend to fight each other until they destroy with world in their war, which, might be fast approaching.

The Seven cannot die as they EXISTS in everything. They cannot create their own body, but like “demons” and “angels” they can choose a host. Each time they’re chosen vessel dies, they reincarnate, choosing a new vessel to control and use. They never grow weaker or stronger, they only manage to constantly shift the balances of nature. They all know each other pretty well, and all have complicated relationships with each other.

The Seven sins are Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride.
These Seven have been judged and labeled the Deadly seven, they seek to give humanity all the pleasures of life. They don’t all (if any) consider themselves or their natures evil.

The Seven Virtues, Chasity, Temperance, Charity, Forgiveness, Diligence, Kindness, Humility.
Just as deadly as the sins, the Virtues have managed to keep a good face among mortals gaining the title, The “Holy” Seven. In some lives they have been kind, but have also been known to push their cause on people through questionable means.

Both Groups are equally dangerous and each cares about its cause just as much as the other, both knowing whole-heartedly that they are in the right.

Peace, Love, and Safe Travels.

Ollumhammersong

Hey there peoples. I'm looking for someone to help run battletech RP. Someone to act as co-GM to help bounce ideas off and keep the story moving for the players on the weeks where work keeps me too busy.

I do have two ideas for games already that i've been putting to paper and refining over the last couple weeks. Or at least attempting too and wouldn't mind an extra pair of eyes to look over it.

The first idea is an old classic. Set in the Late succession wars 3025-ish, a failing Mercenary company on the brink of financial collapse and having all their assets reclaimed by the banks get's bought out or inherited by a new commander. One who has bold ideas on how to turn the beaten down company around and restore it's reputation of bad luck and broken agreements. Luckily the company still has some assets. A dozen or so mechs in various states of repair, and a rickety old Union class dropship that threatens to fly apart at the seams whenever it lifts off. But it can get them from orbit to planetfall and back again and is as good a mobile base as any.

Naturally this commander doesn't want to take things slow. They can't afford to actually, not if they want to stave off their creditors and start chipping away at their ever rising interest payments. The big question here is the plot itself. It could be a string of mostly unrelated action scenes strung out until the company is swimming in C-bills. Or I could pull a hairbrained schemes and have the company's debt have been bought out by a mysterious benefactor. Maybe the new commander is really an military officer/government agent of one of the great houses.

********

The second idea is set just after the clan invasions and the reformation of the Second star League. Something akin to operation Bird-dog the star league needs to buy itself time to gather it's armies and choose the right place hole in the line to launch a counter attack. To that end they hire every merc company they can and promise them generous payment and salvage rights, if they survive of course. In this idea the PC's are part of a company that has been told to hold the line on a world being actively invaded by the clans. Star league forces are pulling back to re-group, maybe they pulled off world entirely. There's no promise when they're coming back or even if they will return in time. But if the company can survive and stop the clans from completely taking control of star ports and critical infrastructure, buy invaluable time for Star league forces to launch a re-liberation campaign, then they are going to get one hell of a payday when the dust settles.

Those are my two ideas as it stands. Feel free to offer suggestions and poke holes and whatnot. As I said i'm looking for a CO-gm as my job makes even regular weekly posting not always possible. SO someone else to share the helm and keep the story moving would be great.
Hi i'm a polymorphic alien who has taken the form of this signiature to have sex with your pupils, and by the smile on your face I can tell your enjoying it.

Twisted Crow

I am seeking people that might be good Co-GMs for this idea I have on the Group Requests & World-Building. I feel like I am nearing 'Recruitment' status, but I wouldn't object to the idea of having a partner in crime on this one. People that already have certain history (rapport) with me can work well, but it would also be nice to have a Co-GM that has experience on running group games. Two heads are better than one, as they say.  ;)

There is a link ('Game Details') that goes deeper with what I have in mind. It feels like I'm working on this every day now.  ;D

------>> Game Details <<------

The Broken Diva Tournament is a sandbox group roleplaying game that I'm creating that mainly deals in 1-on-1 live-streamed babe fights, sexploitation, and the ongoing relationship drama between characters on this island setting.

At present, the expected female character roles are Divas. Though a 'Hostess' (servant) role, among others, may open up later on. Male character roles are primarily consisting of the CEO Damien Roderick and his team of Taskmasters.

For more information, please click the link above to my WB thread to see what I have cooking!  And feel free to leave any comments or ask questions about the game. I don't mind. In my experience, the feedback is often helpful to me.  :-)

As a forever GM, I was hoping to start up a game where I wouldn’t always be the GM.  Maybe start up some sort of rotation so I’m not running all the time.  I was thinking of running a 5E game over discord for voice and possibly roll20 as a platform but I could be talked into other platforms depending on other GM(s).  This is purposely bare of campaign ideas for now though I'm not interested in running an evil campaign.  I do have a slight preference for the Forgotten Realms campaign setting.  I figured I can see if I can get any interested amiable GM and do some brainstorming before recruiting for the actual campaign.  Feel free to reach out to me if you're interested.

Stablery

I'm a fairly inexperienced DM, and would like more practice. If you are a DM who wants help, or would not mind mentoring me through this, I would like to start a game.

I like fantasy, am familiar with DnD and Pathfinder. I would like to run the Curse of Strand adventure, which is exotic, but am open to other already - existing adventures.

Message me and we'll go from there.

I have an idea for a game in my 1 on 1 idea thread that hasn't really picked up traction, so I had the idea of making a group game of it. What I need is 1-2 Co-GMs who can help me with bringing this idea to life, since I'm struggling with getting it going as well as a good bit of the world building. The ideas are in my head, but I can't quite translate them how I would like. With that out of the way...

The Premise:

Humanity has destroyed itself with nuclear fire. Five hundred years later, humanity has somewhat rebuilt itself, though it isn't at the technological level it was before the Great Cataclysm(aka the bombs falling). The wrinkle? Magic has become real. Somehow the radioactive isotopes of the nuclear bombs awoke the innate magic of the world. Most people get by with some rudimentary forms of elemental(fire, ice, lightning) or healing magic. But, there are those who have special abilites such as telekinesis, leeching, or the ability to become a living bomb.(a la Negasonic Teenage Warhead for you Deadpool fans).

Five cities have risen up within a 35 mile radius within that timeframe:

Radioglow- Population: <7500, built around an undetonated nuclear bomb(Unabashed Fallout 3 ripoff, ho!) that is currently being decommissioned, the population decreasing year upon year due to an exodus due to the aforementioned Fallout reference.
Candlelight- Population: ~35,000, built in a depleted rock quarry, economy dependent on the heavy metals left from the bombs
Carolina- Population: ~15,000, an insular, almost isolationist farming community
Templeton- Population: ~452,000, built out of the remains of a Pre-War megachurch the size of an Olympic stadium
New Landsdowne: Population: ~2.5 Million and growing, the largest population center, built on an island in an inland ocean, supplies water to the other four cities via pipeline. Ruled by a Council of Eleven, the First Councilor is decided by genealogical ascendency or, if the First Councilor has no heirs, all other councilors rise up one spot. (So if the First Councilor dies without an heir, the person who is the Second Councilor ascends to the rank of First Councilor and their line takes over the position of First Councilor.) The other ten councilors are decided by democratic vote every five years, and may be ruled unfit by a jury of their peers at any time. Each councilor represents a district of New Landsdowne.

I will admit, New Landsdowne is the city I've done the most world building on(As I had intended that city to be the centerpiece of the story.)

The feel for the story is that it would be in the Extreme section, as I wouldn't want to not include extreme content. I don't intend on limiting the number of players, I kind of hope this could get into Big Game status if we were able to sufficiently get things off the ground.

So, yeah, post-apocalyptic fantasy with political intrigue, magically enhanced people, and all the smut and murder and mayhem you could ask for. In closing, if you choose to message me with ideas, I want to thank you in advance for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
