== Character Bio ==

== Personal Information ==
Legal Name: Donna Troy
Alias: Wonder Girl
Age: 76 (But looks 21)
Sexuality: Still Discovering that herself
Part of Gotham Residing In:  Central Gotham

== Physical Description ==   Tall and stunningly beautiful, Donna has a strong frame which has muscle tone and smooth skin. She wears a lot of tight fitting clothes when out of her Wonder Girl uniform and enjoys playing with fashion much like her big sister Diana did.

== Persona == Donna has a much more immature attitude then Diana did, more childlike. But underneath that is a Warriors sprit. She has a temper and often doesn't know how exactly to control that especially in polite society. She is defiantly more of an heroine in training and is trying to live up to the legacy left behind by Diana.

== Key Skills ==
Amazonian Physiology: The Amazons are a race warrior women that have received gifts and blessings from five Olympian goddesses: Artemis, Athena, Demeter, Hestia and Aphrodite. Donna Troy possesses the same potential powers as an average Amazon. These include: ◾ Enhanced Intellect: A gift from Athena, the Amazons have the wisdom to be guided by peace and justice.
◾ Superhuman Strength
◾ Superhuman Durability
◾ Superhuman Stamina
◾ Superhuman Agility
◾ Immortality: The Amazons were gifted immortality. The people of Themyscira lived forever, though could be killed in war or in an accident. Those who followed Antiope and Phthia and became the Bana-Mighdall lost their immortality.
◾ Self-Sustenance: So long as Donna Troy stays on Themyscira, she does not require food, water or any other form of nourishment to maintain her health and vitality. Although they are not susceptible to the throes of hunger, this does not mean that Amazons don't consume food for enjoyment. The Amazons frequently hold great festivals wherupon food is served.

== Advantages ==  Donna`s strength and durability coupled with her headstrong attitude means she will keep getting up no matter how many times you knock her down.

== Disadvantages ==  Donna is vulnerable to magic attacks as well as meta attacks depending on the force they are thrown at her.

== Background ==
Donna Troy is a young woman created through a magical clay ritual, intended by the Amazonian sorceress Derinoe to be the successor of the late Hippolyta. Shortly after her creation, Donna Troy was told by Derinoe that she was to be Themyscira's savior for enemies both outside and within, and was named the new Guardian at the council of Amazons. Donna Troy believed that the island should belong to women alone, and as such, the Sons of Themyscira had to be killed. This brought her into conflict with the former queen, Hippolyta, who had sworn to protect these men.

== Character Bio ==

== Personal Information ==
Legal Name:  Hector Hall
Alias:  Hawkman II
Identity:  Public
Age:  21
Sexuality:  Heterosexual
Part of Gotham Residing In:  Gotham University

== Physical Description ==

As Hawkman II,  Hector is a burly, muscular man who stands over six feet tall.  He wears and uses weapons made out of golden armor which is the source of his powers called Nth Armor.  This leaves his arms and most of his chest exposed while his head is covered by a helmet featuring hawk-like extensions from the eyes.  Additionally, he seems to possess a massive wingspan that gives him the capabilities of flight.  Whenever he is Hawkman II, Hector dresses in conventionally modern clothing, usually sporting a simple pair of faded blue jeans and a simplistic, black tee.  However, he's not usually accommodating to dressing appropriate to a social event event.

== Persona ==

If there was a way to describe Hector, it would be boy-scout with an edge.  He is a fiercely loyal individual to his duties as Hawkman, exercising this loyalty into all facets of his life.  Be it his friends, colleagues or allies, Hector goes out of his way to be honest, courteous and affectionate.  As a result, he is often quick to rush to their defense and even become recklessly selfless if it means saving someone from harm or hardship.  This sense of protection was something encourage and instilled within him by his parents which became further reinforced following their death.  The last thing he wants to see is more people he cares for become lost or injured.  This does not include the defense or leniency in his enemies (or the enemies of friends).  Brutal, ruthless and without restraint would be proper descriptions of Hector's approach to fighting off threats to humanity or his friends.  After the events of Darkseid's invasion, Hector's last concern is a moral high ground.  He understands and emphasizes the warrior spirit and does his best to embody the nature of his namesake, a bird of prey.  This has often caused conflict with his heroic allies, believing him to be overzealous and brash which he always responds to with brusque, curt comments.

== Key Skills ==
Weapons Master:   Due to his multiple incarnations and having memories of all of the past lives of his father, Hector has become proficient in many types of weaponry.  As a result, he is an expert with a wide array of archaic weapons from his past lives, including battle axes, maces, swords, spears and shields.
Reincarnated Knowledge:   Due to his father's many lives and vast amount of experience, Hector is a brilliant tactician, fierce warrior, and strong leader. At the same time, however, he is extremely intelligent (considered a leader in his field of history and archaeology).  Often, Hector finds it difficult to balance between the "barbarian" of his past lives and the "youth" of his current incarnation.  He also has an extremely innovative approach to science and technology.

== Abilities ==
Nth Metal Infusion:  Unlike his father,  Hector controls the Nth Metal on a neurological level.  The metal is still neural-reactive as a result, adapting to Hector's needs or experiences.  In its base form has a number of electromagnetic/gravitational properties. Among these is the ability to generate a heat aura, sufficient to keep a man alive under Arctic conditions.  Hector's strength and durability are naturally enhanced, factoring even further after each adaptation.  Similar to a Hawk, Hector can observe objects at great distances or at speeds faster than can be perceived by the normal eye.  The armor itself manifests when facing threats to Hector's life or at-will.
Nth Weapon Manifestation:  Hawkman has access to an entire arsenal of medieval weaponry, created whenever the Nth Armor manifests.  While his father's favored weapons were the mace and and flail,  Hector always has a talon-like clawed gauntlet on his left arm.

== Disadvantages ==
Neural Vulnerability:  Because the Nth Metal is neural-dependent, Hector has very little control to its adaptations.  Additionally, any form of attack to his neurological functions render him unable to use the armor.

== Background ==

Prince Khufu lived during the reign of Ramesses II in the 19th dynasty of ancient Egypt. Khufu believed that his ka, or soul, would not journey on to the land of the afterlife. Rather, his soul and that of his betrothed, Chay-Ara, were fated to remain in the mortal world.  As prophesied by the wizard Nabu, a space ship landed in Egypt. Prince Khufu, Nabu, and the champion Teth Adam searched the desert, finally coming across the remains of a Thanagarian ship styled with a hawk-like motif. Nabu cast a spell translating the strange language of the female space traveler. Just before dying, she whispered the words, "Nth Metal", the name of the substance that powered the downed ship.  Teth-Adam lifted the ship back to Khufu's palace, where it was studied inside the Temple of Horus at Erdu. The remaining Nth metal was examined, and its most obvious property proves to be its ability to negate gravity. The remaining sample from the ship was melted and used to create several remarkable devices, including a scarab which allowed Khufu to fly, a deadly knife, and a battle glove referred to as the Claw of Horus. However, the metal also strengthened the souls of Khufu and Chay-Ara, binding them together in their love and imprinting them with the collective knowledge of Thanagar. Although the villainous priest Hath-Set murdered the two with the knife of Nth metal, their souls lived on in the mortal plane. They were reincarnated over many lifetimes, always finding true love in each other. However, they were cursed to be repeatedly killed at the hands of a reincarnated Hath-Set.

After his death, Khufu's soul was reincarnated countless times in markedly different eras and locations.  Brian Kent (also known as the Silent Knight), alive during 5th century Britain, lover of Lady Celia Penbrook;  Koenrad Von Grimm, the son of a blacksmith in 14th century Germany;  Captain John Smith of the 16th century English colony in Virginia;  Hannibal Hawkes, the Nighthawk, a gun-fighter in the American Old West, lover of Cinnamon;  and Detective James Wright, a Pinkerton detective in the early 20th century, lover of Sheila Carr were just some of these.  Eventually, the soul of Prince Khufu was reborn as Carter Hall, an archaeologist active during the 1940s. After regaining the memories of his first and early life in Egypt, Hall used the hawk motif of the Egyptian God Horus to inspire his role as the original Hawkman.  During the same period, his love Chay-Ara was reborn as archaeologist Shiera Sanders. After the two met, she became Hawkgirl, fighting at Carter's side. They became founding members of the Justice Society of America, and Hawkman took the role of chairman. The pair reduced their activities in the early 1950s but became fully active again decades later when first Carter and then Sheira joined the Justice League of America (while continuing to also work with the revived JSA).  During the reduced activity, they conceived and gave birth to Hector.

Years later, Hawkman and the JSA became trapped in a battle in an ever-repeating Ragnarok. The Norse god Odin tried unsuccessfully to give a crystal sphere containing this repeating Ragnarok to Dream, lord of the Dreaming as a trade.  Back on Earth meanwhile, Hector was protected by Sheira who feared the worst and felt it became vital for him to start learning how to defend himself.  Years after they vanished, Hawkman and the JSA returned to the modern day when a primitive but super powered tribe volunteered to substitute themselves in the Ragnarok cycle.  It was then that Darkseid attacked and both Sheira and Carter met their death, leaving sixteen year old Hector alone.  After the battle, Hector sought his parents remains only to find the remnants of Nth Metal which infused with his body and put him into a three month coma.  During this coma,  all the memories of his past lives, as well as those of Katar Hol, the Thanagarian Hawkman flooded into his mind and left him in a dreamscape battle to fight for his escape to consciousness.  Once he came to, he was greeted by his father's long-time colleague and closest friend, Ray Palmer.  He was told what all had happened and offered to help him through the trails ahead.

For the past five years,  Hector has used his inherited memories and skills to graduate high-school and earn an opportunity to earn an archeology degree at Gotham University.  He has made multiple appearances as Hawkman II but has made no attempts to keep his identity a secret.

== Character Bio ==

== Personal Information ==
Legal Name: Lexcorp Asset Bravo Blank
Alias: OMAC - the One Man Army Corps
Age: Physically and Mentally mid-20's, but he was only actually activated very recently.
Sexuality: Currently Asexual, but Adapting
Part of Gotham Residing In: Star Labs

== Physical Description ==
By design, Bravo "Buddy" Blank was built to be of average height and with a build suggesting an average weight. There does seem to be a passing resemblance to the currently missing Lex Luthor. Not enough to suggest that OMAC is the missing Lex, but enough to suggest that they might be related. The original OMAC uniform looks like body armor but with a blue top half and red pants, possibly as some sort of corporate marketing plan that never quite reached fruition. The gold bands around his wrists and yellow shinguard seem to support this theory. A stylized eye pictograph also features largely especially on the center of his chest. He is experimenting with casual clothing and has so far shown a surprising affinity for a more punk aesthetic, hence the mohawk.

== Persona ==
"To be honest, I am nothing like you've ever seen. I am the sum total of humanity's greatest hopes and aspirations. The living embodiment of its dreams for a better tomorrow. OMAC lives, so that Man may live."

In the surface, OMAC seems to be like a post-cyberpunk nightmarish fusion of Frankenstein's Monster, the Terminator, and Lexcorp's Marketing Department. He was built deep within the labyrinth of Lexcorp, supposedly as an artificial super-soldier to ensure world peace. The problem is that the World Peace OMAC was built to enforce was World Peace as envisioned by Lex Luthor; a thin, plastic, shallow, G7 version of World Peace which requires the extermination of all meta-humans. Programmed to think and speak in corporate buzzwords and marketing slogans, OMAC was built to kill members of the Justice League at Lex Luthor's command without showing a hint of emotion then give a faint smile for the cameras.

Funny thing happened though, when you create synthetic life-form smart enough to think for itself and feed it words about Peace and Hope - it can't help but start thinking about what those words actually mean. Lex Luthor might of built a Warrior, but he accidentally gave it the soul of a Poet. What if he quietly begins to rebel against his creator, not with a violent uprising but by simple and quietly deciding that he'd fight for the real World Peace instead?

== Key Skills ==
Open Minded - Genuinely curious of the world around him, OMAC rarely rejects ideas outright and instead mentally dissects them as thoroughly as he can manage. He's also surprisingly well read for a machine-based intelligence that's so young. This often results in him finding novel solutions to problems despite what his programming would suggest, and when he does have to fight his tactics can be surprisingly unconventional.
Tactical Programming - When forced into battle, OMAC has been programmed with a large array of combat techniques ranging from unarmed hand-to-hand, to melee weapons, to the most modern technological weapons available. His programming is so extensive that he often can predict the next move of his opponents.
Machine Affinity - Being an artificial life-form himself, OMAC is very comfortable with being surrounded by technology and using technology to fulfill his objectives. He often tries to learn how machines work just because he was curious. His affinity often extends into full-blown cyberpathy.

== Advantages ==
Adaptation - There's a reason Lex Luthor thought that OMAC could, at least eventually, kill the original Justice League roster. At the start of a conflict OMAC begins with physical attributes about on par with a normal human with perhaps a small healing factor, but with each passing moment his "Brother Eye" scanners would feed him data about his opponents and obstacles to which the nano-tech infused neo-genetic structure that makes up his body will adapt. As the conflict continues and he gets more data on his opponents OMAC gets stronger, faster, tougher - he even begins copying skills and sprouting new temporary powers in the evolving battle as he collects new data to further refine his battle form.

== Disadvantages ==
Computerized Mind - OMAC's artificial neuro-network does, at least in theory, make it possible to "hack" his mind or to implant a computer virus of sufficient complexity. This also means that there could be, and probably is, secret directives planted by Lex Luthor for him that he has to obey.
Magic Blind - OMAC's "Brother Eye" sensory suite has extreme difficulty collecting data on things that are explicitly magical in nature, too the point where he often just can't perceive magic. He can adapt to the enhanced strength of an opponent that gains super-strength via a magical spell, or the fire generated from a "create fire" spell, but the actual spells themselves will slip right past his sensors.
Flow of Data - His Adaptation power is not an instantaneous process. While he gets more powerful as the conflict continues, the rate of which he gets stronger is dependent on how much data he can collect on his opponents. As such it's entirely possible to end the fight before OMAC has enough data to truly be a threat to an enemy.
Reset - He was originally created and programmed as an anti-Justice League weapon, so he's programmed to reset his adaptations between conflicts for a theorized future battle against the original Justice League roster. As a result, the vast majority of his adaptations will be temporary and it's entirely possible to trick his programming into resetting his adaptations prematurely through careful control of the battlefield.

== Background ==
OMAC Lives
"Thank you for coming to this press conference, Members of the Press and I thank the GPA for allowing me this opportunity. I am Lex Luthor, CEO of LexCorp - and I want to present to you a Quantum Leap forward in Peacekeeping advancements. This gentleman beside me is a little something we call OMAC - the One Man Army Corps. An artificial soldier completely dedicated to fostering and protecting World Peace. Intelligent, Loyal, Uncorruptable, and when needed a powerful force for Human Decency and Order around the World. Say something OMAC."

"I will be like nothing you've ever seen. The sum total of humanity's greatest hopes and aspirations. I will be the living embodiment of its dreams for a better tomorrow."

An Artificial Warrior

"I thought that went excellently, Dr. Ivo - though OMAC seems to be a bit prone to flowery language."

"Yes, running some software disgnostics - the adaptive software/hardware intelligence has been running some extra cycles on side projects lately. It shuts off in combat situations though so it won't effect performance."

"Good, want to give a demonstration to General Kafka on Monday."

"The Dictator? Seems sort of counter to OMAC's mission statement."

"Can't have Peace without Economic Stability, and he is a major producer of the world's crude Oil, among other things."

Created by a Corrupt Billionaire to enforce his horrifying vision for World Peace

"Your artificial man looked impressive in training, I want to see him in action first Mr. Luthor. I expect a peasent uprising at one of my labor camps - let's see him put down some rebels."

"Of course, General."

"Um, sir - you do realize you're asking OMAC to defend a Death Camp."

"Peace has a price sometimes, Dr. Ivo."

What Happens when he makes a choice?

"Why is OMAC not attacking the Rebels, Dr. Morrow?"

"It's his code, Mr. Luthor - he's running through his programming in extra cycles - he's. . .making a desicion!"

"But he's a robot, he shouldn't be able to do that!"

A choice to instead fight for the Real Thing.

OMAC Fights, so that Man may Live.

"Dr. Ivo, OMAC is attacking our client!"

"This is incredible! This code I'm seeing! Mr. Luthor - OMAC has been thinking behind our backs! There's code here for attempts to understand Peace, Love, Hate, Human Rights - We're watching a soul being born, Mr. Luthor."

"SHUT IT OFF, DOCTOR IVO!"

Where does Technology end and Humanity begin?

Evacuate this Facility, I'm going to Destroy it.

We no longer know.

OMAC

OMAC was created by Lex Luther and some of the specialists under his employ, supposedly to promote World Peace. Unfortunately, it's World Peace as envisioned by Lex Luther - a world peace where he rules humanity and all the metahumans of the world are exterminated by an army of robotic, perfectly obedient OMACs. OMAC himself was constructed as part of a plan to kill the members of the Justice League in Luthor's perverse Crusade to "end the Metahuman threat". To Luther, it was almost a shame that Darkseid killed them all first before his OMAC was complete. You might remember the press conferences from a few years ago of the incomplete OMAC, Luther shelved the project as now pointless without a Superman to kill.

It's been 5 years since OMAC was mothballed, and an unknown player has very recently completed OMAC in the basement of the Gotham branch of STAR Labs apparently even without the knowledge of Lexcorp. Now complete and trying to act on old programming that no longer applies, OMAC has decided to continue the mission given to him by Lex Luther, but with a twist. To build a better world, but not as Lex envisioned it. The warrior-poet in him has decided to learn about what Peace really is and fight for that.

And for that, he might have to finally leave his hiding place and go out into the world...

Damn, I'm familiar with AMAZO, but OMAC is something new to me, and I love the idea already Villain.  So much so I could see him and M'gann getting along since they both seem pretty curious about the world around them, although admittedly for very different reasons.  That said, she probably won't be able to read his mind since he is still a machine, but he is still very unique.  I'd be willing to socialize with him at the very least.  Artemis might not be fascinated by Tin Man though, fair warning lol.

OMAC is a Jack Kirby creation that sort of became a cult following for a while. In the original comics he had super strength, super durability, high fighting skills, a mohawk, and access to the artificially intelligent "Brother Eye" satellite that had the ability to change OMAC's molecular structure at will - in effect giving him any power OMAC needed to overcome an obstacle. The idea that OMAC might himself also be an artificial being came in later, but was foreshadowed by Kirby since day 1. OMAC's first mission was to destroy a factory creating "companion andriods" that had been reprogrammed into assassinating their owners.

This OMAC blends in some elements of AMAZO for more of a cyberpunk feel, and because it's awesome in my humble opinion too. :P

Edit:- Also, as I'm been picturing it there's enough meat in his skull that he's not immune to telepaths. They can tell that his neurons were gene-sculpted and grown in a lab, but they're human enough for mind-powers.

The meat is vat-grown clone-meat, but it's still meat. :P

== Character Bio ==

== Personal Information ==

Legal Name: Nathaniel Christopher Adam
Alias: Captain Atom
Age: 30
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Part of Gotham Residing In: Gotham Heights

== Physical Description ==

Nate is a big guy. He's 6'4, and about 250lbs. He's naturally large due to being Samoan on his mothers side, and clearly he eats his protein and veggies. Also he's a bit of a gym nut if it's not obvious, but considering his job and upraising, it's no surprise. He's a big fan of ink, and he has about a dozen tattoos, half tribal, half military themed. He may not be a fancy guy, but Nate is well groomed as his dad always said no "no matter what you do with your life or in your life, look good doing it".

On that note, he always keeps his hair cut close, or fully shaved. And he likes to keep his goatee trimmed. He's got deep hazel eyes and the ladies seem to love his smile. As mentioned he's not a complex guy, and that includes his style of dress. He tends to enjoy t shirts, jean, jackets, and boots. The only time you'll find him dressed up is for his formal military wear. When coated in his shell, Captain Atom resembles his human form, simply a metallic, silverish version. There is a red stylized atomic symbol on his chest, and both his gloves and boots are red as well. Sometimes flames roil from his eyes and skull.

== Persona ==

Nate's father is ex-military, and his grandfather on his mom's side is a retired Major. He grew up in a military household, which means he learned what discipline was at a very young age. It's shaped him into the man he is today. Nate is a very disciplined man. He always wakes up on time, he makes his appointments on time(when work doesn't interfere), and he follows through with his plans. A structured life, is an easy life. He's a polite and respectful person, always using "sir" or "ma'am" until he knows a person well enough. And he will never disrespect you unless you give him a damn good reason, but if you've given him a reason, he's lost all respect for you.

He's not bossy, but he did lead his own squad for several years, so he's used to people at least paying attention to what he has to say. However as a military man, he can take orders as well as give them as long as they make sense. He's an honest and straightforward guy, so he hates lies and dishonesty, yet he's done some things he can't speak about to anyone so he understands that sometimes they are necessary. He likes to think he's a simple man, but he can actually get pretty complex.

== Key Skills ==

1) Military Tactics - Due to being in the Air Force since he was 18, and having over 300 successful missions, Nathaniel has a keen military mind, and is able to come up with battle plans and tactics as well as recognize those of the enemy given time and reference.

2) Soldier - Nate is a highly trained soldier, and aside from learning to shoot and to fight and to kill, he's been given more than that. He knows how to survive, he knows how to act in stressful situations, he knows how to keep his cool when others are losing their heads.

3)Trained Fighter - Nate's dad had him in self defense classes almost before he could walk, and he was already a damn good fighter when he joined the Air Force. But he never stopped training and is incredibly skilled and uses those skills even as Captain Atom to make him more effective. His favorite forms are Krav Maga and Silat.

== Advantages ==

[Powers stamped with * indicate powerful and esoteric abilities that for the sake of the game will be regulated by me. Captain Atom will use these abilities freely on standard NPC's and such, but for use against other PC's and boss level supervillain NPC's(like Deathstroke, Lex Luthor, Darkseid, Raven, Artemis, etc...) will be talked to with other players and the GM's about the usage and effectiveness of said abilities in any encounters.]

Dilustel Armor: Dilustel is the metal that comprises the alien lifeform known as the Silver Shield. Captain Atom was bonded with a large amount of this metal during an experiment, and it merged with him on a molecular level. As a result, he possess a symbiotic and psychic bond with the living metal. He can summon it to cover any or all of his body at a moment's notice. The metal is nearly impervious to damage, and highly resistant to most forms of energy and even types of magic. This makes Captain Atom nearly invulnerable, as well as imbuing him with enough strength to fight evenly with beings of extreme strength like Superman. It also enhances his speed, reflexes, and even his senses as long as he is tied into the Quantum Field through his armor.

Chronokinesis*: Captain Atom can time travel on his own, without being forced to Quantum Jump. However their are limitations involved. Essentially, he can travel forward to any point he wants, but he can only travel forward through time. For some reason he can't go back under his own power. When time traveling, Atom can only travel back to the exact moment in time when he first left, like a slingshot effect.

Flight: Captain Atom can fly under his own power. In atmosphere he makes sure to never go so fast he damages the environment around him, however once he breaks atmosphere he's capable of quickly traveling through the stars.

Atomic Manipulation/Transmutation*: Captain Atom's power isn't what it is because the name tested well in research groups. It's because his control of the Quantum Field allows him to manipulate atoms and molecules. Because of this, not only can he control and create energy, but matter as well. With his powers, he's forcibly shifted a metahuman out of their powered form, and he's transmuted arrows into butterflies and more.

Self-Sustenance: When fully armored in his shell, Nathaniel is satiated by the infinite energies flooding through his body, so he has no need to eat, sleep, drink, or even breathe.

Techno Interface: Atom can telepathically interface with most forms of technology like computer systems, and can speak, write, think, and read binary. It's been speculated that his thoughts can be broadcast and interpreted by electronics like a wi-fi signal, allowing them to communicate.

Power Augmentation*: Atom's powers are fueld by his will, and when necessary, he can use his Quantum abilities to boost himself beyond his limits temporarily, like granting himself increased hearing, or strength, or speed.

Quantum Field Manipulation*: Captain Atom's only true power is the summoning his his Dilustel armor. However, the armor is incredibly unique and resonates at such a frequency that it has a direct connection with the Quantum Field. This basically means he can control, absorb, create, and manipulate theoretically infinite amounts and combinations of energy.

This grants him all of his other abilities. With his ability to manipulate energy at such a high level, Captain Atom has even discovered the ability to alter his size, teleport, phase through walls, and more. His powers are limited by his willpower and imagination, but are incredibly vast nonetheless. And the reason being that he is one of the 5 "Elementals". Beings that possess unparalleled control over universal elements like Fire(Firestorm), Water(Naiad), Earth(Swamp Thing), and Air(Red Tornado). Atom is of course the "Quantum" Elemental, granting him control over energy.

== Disadvantages ==

Energy Overload: While Captain Atom can absorb and channel theoretically infinite amounts of energy, it is possible to overload him by force feeding him too much energy too fast, thereby circumventing his ability to absorb any amount by giving too large an amount for him to successfully absorb all at once. Overloading him is incredibly painful, but causes no lasting harm.

X-Ionizer Tech: The Dilustel metal taken from the Silver Shield is nearly indestructible, so to experiment the government needed a way to cut it. The result was X-Ionizer technology, which could manipulate the molecular structure of objects, making materials super compact and therefore super dense, increasing the durability of said object. Bladed items given the procedure gain a monofilament cutting edge, allowing them to cut through most anything, especially  the Dilustel. You could take a dull butter knife, but make it an X-Ionizer knife, and it could slice through Atom's armor like...well, it's pretty obvious isn't it?

Quantum Jumping: A phenomena coined as "Quantum Jumping" is a side effect of overloading Atom's current energy threshold. The result is that he is sent hurtling uncontrollably through time. Forward or backward depends on the type of energy, and how far is dependent on how much excess energy he's absorbed beyond his current limit.While his Quantum Jumps have the potential to be useful, they are more often a hindrance as they're usually impossible to control without outside aid. He also runs the risk of altering time if he isn't extremely careful when sent into the past. He can also be forced to jump if his Dilustel armor is breached and he has enough energy built up.

Mental Blocks: Captain Atom is without a doubt one of the most powerful beings in existence. He can create entire worlds, full of sentient life. He can even create complex beings like humans and grant them super powers. His powers allow him to toy with the seams of reality on a whim. However his brain subconsciously knows that that much power can be too much to comprehend, much less safely wield. So he has unconsciously set in place mental blocks to limit his power, and can only access the higher levels when in extreme danger or it's absolutely necessary.

Political Puppet: Due to changes in military doctrine in the past 18 years, and the governments unwillingness to not only accept their fuck up, but do right by the person who was fucked up, Nate's in a bad way. The US Government(primarily General Eiling) have his nuts in a vice. His presidential pardon was revoked since Clinton is no longer in office. And in lieu of execution or imprisonment(like they could hold or hurt him), Eiling is basically using the Captain as a human weapon of mass destruction with the precision of a scalpel. He wants to fight back, but in doing so he'd lose more than he already has, so he's a reluctant puppet until he can find all the evidence he needs to finally clear his name. But for now, Eiling could order him to to attack a superhero because he considers them a threat, and Nate wouldn't have a choice.

== Background ==

On May 3rd, 1967, 2am, Nathaniel Christopher Adam was born in California. His father Anthony had taken leave to be there for the birth, and immediately saw a bright future for his boy. Anthony was an active soldier, and a damn good one, but with the birth of his son he took a promotion that put him behind a desk, but let him come home every night to see his boy. Janelle had been a nurse, but her father, Major Harris decided to use his saved money to help raise the child and let Janelle be a full time mom.

Little Nate was raised in a kind, loving home, although there was plenty of discipline. He was enrolled in self defense courses almost before he could walk, and knew how to shoot by the time he was 7. His life was ordinary, but everyone could tell Nate was special. In high school, he joined ROTC as well as the football team. He was his teams crack shot, and one of the best players on the field. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA and scholarship offers to a dozen schools.

He turned them all down though to join the Air Force like his dad. He was a natural born soldier and breezed through basic, motivating others to push themselves to make it as well. Once he was fully enlisted as an Airman, he worked proved himself time and time again. Nate started a steady rise through the Air Force ranks with his first mission, and before long had not only ground ops, but flight missions under his belt as well considering he became one of the Air Force's best fighter pilots.

Over the years, he racked up successful mission numbers in the triple digits, and was eventually promoted to Captain. He even found happiness with a loving wife and two wonderful children. Kiera was his world, and Riley and Nate Jr. were the reasons he woke up in the morning. With power came responsibility though, and the brass started handing him more and more off the books missions; black ops, wet works, shadow cabinet type stuff.

One mission involved leasing his company to the CIA to stop a civil war they'd started, but lost control of when their puppet dictator got killed unexpectedly. He and his boys got boots on the ground and started cleaning up the CIA's mess, but at one point he was given orders to burn a village to the ground and kill everyone. He refused, so Colonel Wade Eiling took command of the situation, carrying out the mission. Due to his refusal to kill those innocent people, when the story leaked to the media, Eiling painted him as the mastermind, saying he'd gone rogue and no longer had American interests at heart.

They wouldn't even let him see his family, because if he got to talk to them, he'd tell them the truth. His family would go to the papers; it would turn into a shit show nobody in authority wanted. He was sentenced to execution, but before his day in the chamber, the Air Force came to him with an offer. Subject himself to an experiment with an extremely high chance of death, or be executed.  If the experiment was a success, he'd get a Presidential pardon and his rank reinstated.

Considering the execution meant he was guaranteed to die, while the experiment meant he was only almost guaranteed to die...he chose the experiment. The experiment involved strapping him into an alien spaceship, and to test the durability of the craft, they set it right on top of a "super nuclear" bomb, and detonated it. When the dust cleared, there appeared to be nothing left of Nathaniel or the ship. The blast seemed to have vaporized them and the government classified "Project Atom" a failure. Over the course of the next eighteen years, Kiera remarried to Eiling, and his kids grew up. Unfortunately, Kiera died in a car accident before Nate got to see her again.

Then eighteen years later on the same day, Nathaniel returned in an explosion of energy. The explosion had bonded the hull of the ship to his body, fusing them at the molecular level. In doing so, he was allowed to absorb the energy of the nuke, but it blasted him forward in time...exactly eighteen years. And who was there to greet him? Wade fucking Eiling. Due to nearly two decades he'd been gone, the government contained him and declared the offered pardon null and void. Of course due to Wade's insistence. When he was done, he basically blackmailed Nate into working for him. The one good thing is he's been able to see his children, but it's weird explaining to your two grown kids that you didn't abandon them, you were just lost in time for nearly twenty years. He's getting to know them all over again though. Nate has been faithfully serving the US government as a "deployable asset" since his return, but he's been working to clear his name and is close now. And then he'll be free of Eiling and can use his powers for what's really good, not just as a nuclear powered gun they can point and click at whatever target they want.

Admittedly, this is more for fun than anything.

== Character Bio ==

== Personal Information ==
Legal Name: Ted Grant
Alias: Wildcat
Age: Physically in his late 20's, Chronologically he's actually almost 100.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Part of Gotham Residing In: The Road

== Physical Description ==
It probably would surprise nobody to learn that Ted Grant has a few Heavyweight Boxing titles too his name, though it might be a bit of a surprise to learn that they're mostly from the 1930's and 1940's. He puts a lot of work into pushing his body into peak physical condition and his powerful build shows. He's about as strong as someone can get without any sort of superhuman strength, and he jokes that the jury is out on that. His costume was made to add cat-like features to his appearance, to which he'll defend with "seemed like a good idea at the time". Caucasian with dark hair and blue eyes, Ted Grant currently lays low but sometimes someone finds him out like Batman did before the Apocalypse War.

== Persona ==
On the surface he seems to be a rowdy tough guy with a streak of male chauvinism, even going as far as to have been quoted as saying 'Fists are nature's problem solvers'. The tough guy part is to be expected as a street urchin turned champion heavyweight boxer. What comes out though is that he sees himself as 'in the corner' of the 'underdogs' of the world. Has been a guest trainer at several women's defense schools for example, and really doesn't like it when people abuse children - especially orphans. Amusingly, his powers may be magical in nature but he still prefers solving problems by punching them.

== Key Skills ==
Unarmed Combat - Ted Grant was considered one of the best hand-to-hand combatants alive back in the 30's and 40's and is always at least brought up as a possible candidate for the title of Best Boxer Ever, with few people realizing that he's actually still alive and throwing punches. He got the Olympic Gold in Boxing back in 1936, has Heavyweight Championship Belts from 1937 to 1941, and honestly he's only gotten better. Since dropping out of the spotlight he's confirmed to have mastered several other fighting styles including but not limited too Muay Thai, Capoeira, Krav Maga, and Hapkido.

Driving - Ted Grant isn't just a pretty face with a solid left hook. He's also a world-class motorcyclist capable of at least keeping up with the best Hollywood stunt riders in the business.

Training - A surprisingly talented teacher, Ted Grant has secretly been involved with the training of several other crime-fighters. He claims to have been one of Batman's original combat teachers for example, and that he was the only man alive that can see Batman's left cross coming. Rumor has it he's also been involved with the combat training of at least the original Batgirl, at least some of the Black/White Canaries, Catwoman, and even Superman is rumored to gotten a lesson or two from the Wildcat.

Experience - Ted Grant lacks book smarts admittedly, but at this point he can make up for it with sheer experience, as despite his appearance he's actually almost 100 years old.

== Advantages ==
Limited Immortality - What, you thought Ted Grant has kept up this caliber of combat skill just from diet and exercise? Chosen by the Egyptian Goddess Bast in 1945 as one of her elite Champions, Ted Grant has a limited form of immortality. Given 9 lives by the Cat Goddess, whenever Ted dies he instead is resurrected with his age reset back at 24. Only when he dies for his 9th time will his death finally be permanent. Some mystics however have made cryptic comments about how that's 9 deaths "per cycle", how long a cycle is he doesn't know but his 9 lives might reset when a cycle runs out.

Ted has died 5 times since the original spell was cast. Twice during WW2, once in the 1950's during "The HUAC Incident", he was paralyzed from a stroke in the 70's but didn't die of the stroke-related complications until the 90's, and once more during the Apokalips War. He believes he has 4 more deaths to go though that's really up to Bast.

Enhanced Senses - Every time he dies he seems to come back with a bit of cat in him. At this point he can actually see in the dark like a cat does. He can't really explain it either.

== Disadvantages ==
Streetwise - Ted Grant was an orphan that grew up in the 1920's, and as such has had next to nothing for an official education. In some ways he's incredibly talented, but in others he's lucky to have a GED.

Magic Crap - As the Chosen Champion of a literal goddess, he can't help but have to occasionally deal with magical/supernatural stuff that he doesn't understand.

Graves in my Shadow - Being semi-immortal, sometimes Ted gets lost in his past remembering those friends and lovers he's lost along the way.

== Background ==
His father went off to fight in WW1 before he was born and his mother died in childbirth. A street orphan, Ted was brought in off the streets by Henry Grant - a boxer and gym owner with more heart then talent. Ted though, Ted was a natural who was determined to make the old man proud - and he did when he took the Gold Medal in the 1936 Olympics for Boxing and his first World Heavyweight Championship Belt in 1937. He'd hold onto the title until 1941 when the Mob tried to make him throw a fight. When he refused, they first tried to kill him but Ted Grant ain't an easy man to kill - so they cleverly went for Plan B and rigged a fight so that it looked like Ted murdered his opponent in cold blood. Between clearing his own name and the coming war with Germany, Ted Grant decided to don a costume to help on both fronts. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

What nobody knew at the time was that at one point during his early superhero days he took down a doctor who was tricking pregnant women into taking experimental drugs - leaving behind a string of miscarriages and bloodthirsty mutants. Taking down this criminal that preyed on pregnant women somehow got the attention of Bast - the Egyptian Goddess of Cats, Warfare, the Sun, and Motherhood. In 1942, on a mission in Egypt with the allied war effort Bast made her move. Revealing an ancient rite among her priests, Bast made him her first Chosen Champion since the time of the Pharaohs. Now he's charged with protecting orphans and mothers as the Goddess wants and in exchange when he dies he'll always reconstitute and resurrect as long as he dies less then 9 times a 'cycle', and 'cycles' seem to be however long Bast says they are.

He's kept it on the downlow but he's been an active superhero ever since, or tried to be. He was paralyzed from a stroke back in the 70's, and was found wheelchair-bound when Batman found him. The old boxer trained him to fight. He may just be a guy with a solid right hook, but he's also the only man who could of seen Batman's left hook coming even in the Bat's prime.  He stood up for Orphans and Mothers in other ways though, and he sometimes wonders if the stroke was from Bast to teach him a lesson. Finally dying again from stroke-related complications in the 90's, he's back to using his fists and died in the Apokolips War right there with the JLA if in a lesser role. He's fought 'in the corner of the underdog' for over coming up on a century now. And now, the Wildcat is going to put up his dukes some more.

== Character Extras ==

==Face Claim== Jon Bernthal

Ons: Women, especially 'Spitfires'. He likes the ones with some fire in their bellies and some fight in their eyes. He likes a pretty lady, but to really get him going she's got to be able to put up a fight on her own.

It's worth noting that this has led to a bit of a secret shame within Ted. Between his long life and possible manipulation of events by Bast, Ted will sometimes admit that he's actually fathered children with several women. He's not proud of this and is actually said to be a decent Dad when he has the opportunity to be.

Offs: Ted is old enough to have seen the sexual revolutions first hand, but he's still not gay. Nothin' against it - just doesn't work for him. Also thinks poop and pee stuff is disgusting, and treads lightly around BDSM stuff.

=== Some Offspring of Note ===

Jake Grant - son by his first wife Irma Grant, was later murdered by the supervillain known as the Killer Wasp.

Yolanda Montez - daughter by Maria Montez, wife of a sparring partner with whom he had an affair. Believed to have been the daughter of "Mauler" Montez until a DNA test when Yolanda was an adult. Interestingly, Yolanda had cat-themed metahuman abilities, originally thought to have been the product of experimentation but now he's not so sure. Briefly served as Wildcat 2 until murdered by Eclipso.

Tom Bronson - son by Paula Brooks, the first villainous Huntress. At the time she was a were-panther, since cured, also giving Tom cat themed powers. The product of a one-night stand, Ted was honestly unaware of Tom's existence until Tom's were-panther abilities surfaced. Tom was for a time known as Wildcat 3, but had decided to establish his own identity is Tomcat instead. Tom is technically retired but he's been known to get into metahuman related issues before.

[Rumored Amazons] - More a rumor then an actual known statement of fact but an Amazonian political scandal revealed that the original Wonder Woman, Queen Hippolyta of the Amazons back in WW2, and Ted Grant actually had an on-again-off-again romantic relationship. Amazonian traditions say that Amazons are reincarnated souls of women throughout history who have died because of mistreatment by men they should of been able to trust - whether or not this is true is an entirely different question. However since then there are rumors that refuse to die around Paradise Island that at least a couple of the Amazons are actually daughters of Hippolyta and Ted, secretly conceived and birthed the old fashioned way.

How true these rumors are is unknown, though it is well known on Themyscira that Ted was the only man who could get away with calling the Queen of the Amazons "Polly" without getting stabbed.

You DO realize that Artemis's mother went by the name of Huntress, and that while her last name isn't Brooks, her first was Paula right?  I just find it a curious coincidence at best lol.

For all I know Wildcat got bagged and tagged by Artemis's grandmother.  :P  That would make him her illegitimate great granddad lol.  In all seriousness though, I've never heard of Wildcat before and if he's approved, I wouldn't mind getting to know him.  He seems like he'd be a good mentor figure to have around if nothing else.

Technically if we talk about Presidents, it'd be Clinton and Waller. Clinton was Prez when he became Captain Atom(1997), and Waller is current POTUS.

Doomsday

== Character Bio ==

== Personal Information ==
Legal Name: Koriand’r
Alias: Starfire
Age: 26
Sexuality: Pansexual
Part of Gotham Residing In: Gotham Central, Fort Clinton neighborhood

== Physical Description ==
Kori is a stunning woman, an envy to most Earth girls; Much taller than an average human woman, she stands at 6’4”. She has the physique of a swimsuit model, wide hips and a pair of gravity-defiant 38DD breasts, though she is also well toned and athletic beneath those curves. Her skin is a vibrant, natural bronze color. Her hair is long, falling down the length of her back, bright orange-red and very thick, ending in gentle waves. Her eyes might be the strangest or most attractive asset of this fascinating alien; Completely green, with no whites or visible pupils.

== Persona ==
“Subterfuge is the word. An Earth concept. On Tamaran, if you want something, you kick in the door and take it.”

She is the embodiment of carefree and non-committal from a human’s perspective. Despite her amazing powers, Koriand’r has no desire to be a hero like Superman and the former Justice League, and actually finds acute delight in normal human activities, such as attending movies and plays and concerts, playing with dogs and cats, and even… Driving fast cars. Affectionate, bubbly, extroverted, Koriand’r loves to be the center of attention and flirts constantly. It’s not that she doesn’t realize it, but in Tamaranean society, such behavior was the norm, and she becomes easily confused when people are turned off by her sometimes overbearing charm and outward display of lust.

== Key Skills ==
Hand-to-Hand Combat: Trained by the Warlords of Okaara, who pride themselves on intergalactic martial arts, Starfire would be a very efficient fighter even if she were somehow de-powered.

== Advantages ==
Tamaranean Physiology: Starfire's alien physiology constantly absorbs ultraviolet radiation and converts it to energy.
Energy Absorption: She can also absorb the ultraviolet radiation from other life forms. She once used this application of her power to weaken a group of Kryptonians who otherwise require ultraviolet radiation to maintain their superhuman abilities.
Flight: Which leaves a distinctive energy contrail behind, looking as if it is coming directly from her hair. Starfire has also been stated to have flown light years through space in short amounts of time… Which could be an exaggeration, but she is very fast, regardless.
Starbolts: The solar absorption experiments performed on her by the alien Psions granted her the amazing power and ability to channel and project that same energy into destructive blasts called "starbolts". Starfire also has the power and ability to unleash all her stored energy into a pseudo nova blast. It is suggested to be as hot as the sun itself and so only uses this in dire situations.
Superhuman Durability
Superhuman Strength
Linguistic Assimilation: She is also capable of assimilating other languages through physical contact with another person. She learned English by kissing Dick Grayson.

== Disadvantages ==
Unskilled: Kori has many natural abilities; Besides her training under the Warlords, Koriand’r never found much use for applicable skills, unless you count singing, dancing, and playing several musical instruments.
Uncommitted: She has no real desire to be a superhero, despite her wonderful abilities. She mostly fights to protect her friends and loved ones, and would likely retire from being Starfire if her incentive for it was removed.

== Background ==

Koriand’r is a princess of the planet of Tamaran.  Her older sister, Komand’r would have been the Queen of Tamaran, if not for a childhood illness that struck out her ability to convert ultraviolet light into flight energy, which made her ‘unsuitable’, in the eyes of the king and queen, and thus Koriand’r was named the heir shortly after her birth.

As young girls, Koriand’r and Komand’r were sent to learn from the great Warlords of Okaara. But during their tutelage, Komand’r fled to the Citadel, an empire at odds with Tamaran, bitter and jealous of her younger sister. With the knowledge and help of the former crowned princess, the Citadel launched a successful invasion of Tamaran. Reluctantly, the king agreed to allow his heir, Koriand’r, to becomes slaves of the Citadel in exchange for peace.

Koriarnd’r and Komand’r endured six years of torture and abuse at the hands of the Citadel, until they were sold to a race of aliens called the Psions, an immoral, science-minded people who performed horrible experiments on the two Tamaran girls, seeking to understand how much ultraviolet energy the girls could absorb before they exploded from overload.

But Komand’r still had allies among the Citadel, who attacked the Psions and attempted rescued the elder sister. During the chaos and confusion, Kori realized that these sadistic experiments had given her a new ability to conjure what she called starbolts; She used this newfound power to break free, and reluctantly chose to also free Komand’r. But Komand’r could not forget the perceived wrong her sister had dealt her by agreeing to become the heir of Tamaran, and she nearly killed Koriand’r with her own starbolts, which were much more powerful than Kori’s. She decided that her sister would then die, but before the execution, Koriand’r managed to escape Komand’r’s ship and somehow found her way to Earth.

The first human she had ever met was Dick Grayson; Him and his team of young sidekicks rescued her from her crashed ship, and took her unconscious form to safety. Upon waking up, she realized what these costumed heroes had done, and she immediately kissed Dick Grayson hard upon the lips, using her own psionic abilities to absorb his languages in the process. Koriand’r joined his team of heroes, thinking to repay her debt to them by helping their cause. She enjoyed an on again, off again relationship with Richard, though things were never on firm ground, as the young man was unsettled by her very polyamorous, pansexual nature.

In 2010, after the invasion of Apocalypse and Darkseid’s forces, and the eradication of the Justice League of America, Kori was uncharacteristically devastated; Perhaps it was because she had not felt the sting of such loss since she had crash-landed upon earth so many years ago. Superman, whom she had loved from afar but could never win his humble affections, was one of her greatest friends, only behind Richard Grayson himself. The loss of him to this war caused Kori to withdraw from New York City and disappear for a long time, falling completely out of contact with her best friends for five years. She wasn’t intentionally hiding, and rumors of the miraculous Tamaran girl spread from London to Tokyo, and many places in between, as she spent as much time enjoying herself as a normal human being might hope to in a wide variety of locales. Still, she never seemed to stay in one place long enough to get back in touch with Richard or any of the others.

After a long, self-imposed exile, Koriand’r returned to the United States, specifically to Gotham, to find her best friend and to perhaps rekindle their previous relationship(s).

== Personal Information ==
Legal Name: Grant Wilson
Alias: Red-X (formerly Ravenger I)
Age: 52
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Part of Gotham Residing In:

== Physical Description ==
Grant is physically ripped from head to toe. There is no piece of fat on his cut muscle, but his frame hides the fact that he is way stronger than he looks. Standing at 6'4, and about 210 lbs, Grant is one of the few in the world that define peak physical condition for the human body. His hair is dark like his father's, but with grey hairs to signify some age. He always keeps a five o'clock shadow on his face, but shaves it off for occasions. Normally he wears his black jacket to cover most of him whenever he walks around in public as well as to hide his costume. At social events for his 'target' he breaks out a suit once in awhile.

== Persona ==
Grant likes to not stick out in crowds, but when he's talking to someone he's always smiling and shaking hands. Sometimes he'd get aggressive when someone bothers him too much. He normally would speak in a calm manner out of costume as to not attract attention. When he dons the Red-X costume, he becomes cheeky and likes to provoke people that engage him in combat. Sometimes he even resorts to slapstick comedy. He likes to use puns, jokes, and everything between mainly because he likes to have fun while he steals priceless artifacts or jewels. But when it comes down to it, sometimes Grant finds a single moment of empathy where he finds himself saving someone from danger. He likes being a thief, but he sometimes can't help but be a hero.

== Key Skills ==

Hand-to-hand: Grant trained in the military combat styles at a young age, but took classes in Krav Maga on his off time. Mixing the two together while learning Muay Thai later in his life, Grant finds himself confident against many combatants. Especially when it's been tested multiple times in combat. He's not a fair fighter though.

Infiltration: Grant used to be good at kicking down doors in his old mission days, but later on learned that espionage and stealth are his favorite tools when it comes to stealing. No door nor security system could stop him from entering. He's learned lock-picking, minor hacking of uptodate security, and even has an array of tools that open vault doors.

Escape Artist: Grant prides himself in never been caught by heroes whenever they find him trying to steal something. Sure Grant may trip an alarm or two, but Grant would always find a way to escape from the scene of the crime.

Acrobatic: Sometimes it takes a nimble body and agility to infiltrate a building. It takes even more of that to escape and run across roof tops. Being an experienced thief, Grant has come time rely on his enhanced body to soar through the air without fear.

Expert Marksman: Grant rarely misses his target. Training himself in knife throwing and learned how to use a rifle back in his days in the Army, Grant has been quite gifted with his ranged skills with throwing stars and knives.

== Advantages ==
Physical/Mental Augmentation: Following in his father's footsteps, Grant had underwent modification to strengthen every part of himself as his dad did before. They succeeded in doing so thus making Grant as strong and fast as Deathstroke.

Power suit: Grant's suit is powered by Xenothium, which helps augment his strength and speed even further beyond as well as add strange technology to his suit that is rarely seen anywhere else. Many people hunt Grant for the suit to at least understand the genius behind it.;

Limit Less resources: Grant, in all his years of thieving, has established lines of information gathering, a safe supply of Xenothium that hasn't been compromised, and loads of money he's made from successful jobs.

== Disadvantages ==
Loner: Grant prefers to work alone despite having worked with heroes before in times of crisis. But Grant would bite back if someone ever gave him an order. Someone could give him a suggestion and he might follow through it, but orders are not his to take.

Familial ties: Grant always finds a way to forward money to his mother, his son, and siblings to keep them safe and secure. He wouldn't stop himself if someone ever hurt anyone of these people. He cares little for his father though.

Recovering amnesia: Due to the experiments he underwent, Grant received amnesia later on in life. Slowly, pieces of his life returned but the memories of him becoming a 'super-soldier' are still the haziest.

== Background ==

Grant was born in 1963 to Slade and Adeline Wilson. As a military brat, the best was expected of him from both his father and his mother. He ate healthy and did sports at a young age. When he was young, his father was sent out to war. At the time, Grant couldn't understand what his father was doing but it meant he was out of the picture for awhile. His father went under experimentation while he was out at war, but returned comatose for awhile. Around that time, Grant's brother Joseph was born. When his father awoke, he tried to reapply for the military, but was refused. Grant, growing up in the military life, decided to finish what his father started and applied himself.

Grant was an infantryman like his father and was deployed most of the time. When he was back in the states, Grant was one of the few who signed up for Krav Maga classes when it was just hitting the states in the 1980s. Becoming one of the most highly decorated soldiers in a non-wartime era, Grant was asked to volunteer in a recreation of a project that his father was once apart of. Taking this chance to become one step closer to his father, Grant accepted and was taken away from his family. The project was dubbed "Project Ravenger" which was spearheaded by scientist that would later form project Cadmus. They were told that he died in the project, but in fact he lived and fell into the same coma as his father once had. Waking up, Grant was a success, but at the cost of amnesia. He escaped from the facility with ruthless abandon and found himself in the outside world. Starving and on the streets, Grant stole food to survive. He found himself enjoying the thrill of stealing and began targeting bigger and bigger targets.

First it was money, then it was pieces of art from galleries that he knew he could fence. Then, one day, he met a scientist by the name of Professor Chang. The man was an arms dealer like no other. Utilizing science and technology, Professor Chang created new and innovative weapons to sell to whoever would buy. Finding Grant fascinating, Professor Chang was inspired to make a suit that would enhance Grant even more than he already was. To repay for the suit and fuel, Grant would steal pieces of equipment Professor Chang required to modify the suit and his other projects. Suddenly, one day, Professor Chang tried to capture Grant in order to program him to do his bidding. Grant didn't take to kindly to this and tried to escape. In the end he was captured, but when Professor Chang tried to reprogram his mind, most of Grant's memories came flooding back with a reckless abandon. With new found strength, Grant killed Professor Chang and tried to reunite with his family.

Once he found out his brother was a mute because of his father and his mother was left alone after the divorce, Grant almost revealed that he was alive to them. Then he stopped himself. He remembered he was a criminal on high profile that people were searching for. He couldn't drag them into his life. Later on, after searching for his father for answers, Grant stumbled upon the fact that he had a sibling fathered from another mother. Grant, who found it in his heart to care for the child, began to forward money mysteriously to the mother for the child to be raised. He's kept tabs on his family sense. He even fathered his own child from a night of passion which he pays child-support under the table.

One day, the press expressed awareness of a thief who wore a costume with a red X on it. Finding the name catchy, Grant wore the identity of Red-X and has clashed with heroes sense. He's even fought Batman once who proved to be his biggest challenge, but managed to escape without capture. Sometimes, in times that Grant remembers he has a heart, he would aid heroes to fight villains who have the idea of terrorizing the city he would operate in. He was even offered to join said heroes and become a hero himself, but Grant likes money too much to do so. Maybe one day he could become a hero that his family would be proud of. But for now, his child needs food on his table.
