So with us now knowing who is going to be in The Mandalorian series. I figured I'd make a thread for talking about it.

"Pedro Pascal (Narcos) has been cast in the title role as a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy. He is joined by Gina Carano (Deadpool), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Carl Weathers (Predator), Omid Abtahi (American Gods), Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), and Nick Nolte (Affliction)."

Pedro Pascal I know more for being Javier in Narcos but you may recognize him as Oberyn from Game of Thrones as well.

We also know Taika Waititi(Director of Thor Ragnarok) is on the series. How many episodes he'll direct in total we don't know but he is a part of it.

I was skeptical. I wasn't sure how it'd look, but hearing who is involved, now I'm more excited. I like Pedro Pascal, and Taika, a lot. And Disney has so far been doing a really good job with Star Wars as far as I'm concerned. Been loving the books and movies, and Rebels I enjoyed though there were some moments that were a bit iffy.

And don't forget the other Star Wars live action series, where Diego Luna (the other Narcos superstar) will be reprising the role of Captain Cassian Andor. <3

I can almost - almost - forgive the haters that pushed Disney to halt any more SW anthology films, costing us the chance to see Ewan McGregor be Obi-Wan again, if it means we get whole series rather than one-offs.

I do not like having to pay for another streaming service, that definitely sucks unless it is cheap. We have Amazon and Netflix. Though competition is good, it hurts our wallet.

And yep, looking forward to Cassian on screen again, he's one of my favs in Rogue One but I love Rogue One. I was wondering after if I should just make a general Star Wars thread so that we could just talk all things Star Wars rather than just a specific show.
