Admittedly I'm not too familiar with Japanese history, but the idea sounds like fun! :D Do you have any room for non-combative females, such as wives, daughters, concubines, servants, peasants, etc? :-)

*Hugs* It sounds like fun! :D I'd have to brush up on Japanese history, and I'm not very good at describing large battles, but if I could be a non-combatant (other then the occasional skirmish) I'd like to give it a try! ;D

Well, I'm intending for this to be purely 'Nation' based, so teaming up of players isn't what I had in mind :/

BUT!

I suppose I can change my plans a little to suit the needs of the player.

Create a character as you would normally, Songbird, and then we'll see if it can work... However, only a Shogun get's Concubines, and that is... At the moments, Shingen Takeda, of the Takeda-Uesugi Colaition.

Name: Toyotomi no Murasaki
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Appearance:  Murasaki is beautiful by almost any standard, with a feminine figure, creamy skin, long, glossy black hair, and warm brown eyes which seem to reflect her every emotion. She never wears cosmetics, except the occasional touch of rouge upon her lips. She has a tiny mole on the left side of her neck, a mark which embarrasses her despite it being rarely noticed. The layers of fine silk kimonos she wears make her instantly recognizable as a noble, through how many layers and what design they bear changes with the season and occasion. Murasaki has an air of quiet submission, her eyes often lowering from the glance of others in a sign of yielding respect.

Who is she?: Murasaki is the daughter (or sister) of the head of the Toyotomi Clan, betrothed to the head (or other member) of the Oda Clan. Her father and brothers hope that this alliance will slow the Oda Clan’s assimilation of the Toyotomi, believing that they would be less likely to turn against them once they are considered family. Murasaki has been groomed to be the perfect wife; quiet, shy, submissive, elegant, and cultured. She is apprehensive about her upcoming marriage, as she has never met her future husband, but hopes she will be able to make him happy and bring honor to both of their families. As a young noblewoman, Murasaki knows very little of warfare or battle, but has been trained to defend herself with the naginata. Once she has married, she keeps a kaiken concealed within her sleeve for self-defense.  Murasaki’s chief conflict is deciding where her loyalties should lie; with her own clan, or with that of her husband.

Hi there. I do think I am interested here. If I remember, Takeda Shingen isn't the shogun yet, the Ashikaga are still the shogun. This would also depend on exactly when this is taking place. The Sengoku Jidai was a nasty period of time for Japan.

Anyhow, I'd love to be the Chokosabe! Masters of the bow and such. If nothing else I can play the Date. Neither were mentioned in the cannon clan list. Also. I could see about playing the Ikko Ikki. Not quite a clan at the time so much as a very religious sect used by a clan (I do not remember whom exactly) in Echizen. Other clans to think of are the; Mori, Otomo, Honma and Hatakayama.

I don't know the history of Japan all that well, but what I do know is largely based in this time period.
