CHARACTER NAME: Wasp
REAL NAME: Janet van Dyne
AGE: 33
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
AFFILIATION: Avengers, SHEILD

APPERENACE/COSTUME:

APPERANCE WITHOUT COSTUME:

POWERS/ABILITIES:
Size Reduction: Janet's primary power is the ability to reduce her bodily size through force of will.  She retains her normal strength while reduced in size.  In addition, Janet is limited by her body's natural neurological reflex that prevents her from shrinking to below a certain size.

Flight: When reduced in size, a pair of insect-like wings grow from Janet's back.  These wings allow her to fly at an unknown maximum speed.

Bio-Electrical Blasts: Janet is also capable of producing blasts of bio-electrical energy that she calls her "Wasp Stings".  These stings vary in potency, depending on her size.  While her size is reduced, Janet can utilize painful shocks that harm even superhumanly durable beings. While at full size, however, her blasts can kill a human in the same way that a lightning bolt would.

WEAKNESSES:
The capability of Janet's sting is dependent on her size. Also, at small size, Janet is at risk of getting crushed.

HISTORY:
Janet van Dyne was a daughter of a wealthy scientist named Vernon van Dyne. During an experiment, however, an alien monster was unleashed and Dr. van Dyne was killed. Her father's associate, Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym, had created a substance called "Pym particles", which allowed the user to grow or shrink in size, and had become the superhero Ant-Man; when Janet's father died, she convinced Pym to help her, and he gave her a supply of "Pym particles" and subjected her to a procedure which granted her the ability to, upon shrinking, grow wings and fire blasts of energy, which she called her "wasp's stings". As Ant-Man and The Wasp, they defeated the monster and sent it to its own dimension, and had several more adventures together. To the Wasp's credit her first solo victory, despite the protests of her absent partner, was against the maniacal Magician.

Soon afterward, the superhero team, which Janet herself dubbed the Avengers, formed, and the pair were among its founding members.  (Additional information will be revealed in-game.)

PERSONALITY: Janet is outgoing and outspoken.  She is not easily intimidated, and virtually impossible to dissuade.  She can be very shallow, at times, seeking personal pleasure or gain without regard to the consequences or others who may be involved.

EQUIPMENT: No necessary equipment.

KNOWN ENEMIES: HYDRA, Alake, Anti-Man, Whirlwind, Yellowjacket.

She-Hulk

Real Name:
  Jennifer Walters
Age: 36
Sexual Orientation:  Heterosexual
Affiliation:  Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D.

Appearance in heroine identity:

Appearances in civilian identity:

Face claim:  Hope Dworaczyk

History:  Jennifer is quite intelligent, having attended UCLA and gaining her law degree.   A mousy persona in her early years.   She was tasked with helping bring a case against a crime boss.    When the said crime boss would attempt to take her and others out with a bomb.    Which seriously injured the young deputy district attorney.   Where she needed a blood transfusion.   The only one with her blood type available at the time was her cousin  Doctor Bruce 'The Hulk' Banner.

Of course the gamma radiation blood of her cousin would transform Jennifer into the She-Hulk.   At first she is wild, savage in her new form.   Jennifer is a tall woman normally at 5'10" compared to society averages.   But when she transform into the She-Hulk her mass would expand greatly and she reach a height of 6'7".   As Jennifer she has dark brown hair and brown eyes,  but in the She-Hulk form she becomes green from hair to eyes to even her complete body.

Unlike her cousin she is able to control her change.  An would be able to gain control as her high intelligence would not be lost when she transformed.  She has been part of many groups.   From the Fantastic Four to name one such.    Right now she works as a high powered attorney, adventurer and of course a heroine.   She has gained the reputation as a party girl of sorts.   She also had been married to John Jameson.

Powers:  The altering of her genes with the blood infected gamma radiation of her cousin.  Has given her super-human strength, speed, stamina, and durability.   Along with a regenerative healing factor.  An finally the alien race of Ovoids trained her in how to  body switch; She-Hulk can exchange her physical characteristics and powers with the physical characteristics and powers of another being by simply focusing on a mental image of the person and willing the transfer to take place.  This of course can be dangerous as she still looks herself.   So she does not use this power ability often and only with other super beings on the rare occasion.    She had learned a lesson with such with Titania in the past.

Abilities and Training:  Jennifer has been combat and tactics trained by no less then Capt 'Steve Rogers' America and Gamora of the Guardian of the Galaxy.  She is a expert combatant.    An with the training her strength power level has raised to equal in the 100 class rating.

A gifted intellect Jennifer is a quite accomplish lawyer despite the party girl image.   She has won cases in prosecuting and in defending from heroes to even villains.

She also is a highly skilled pilot.

Weakness:  Exposure to certain wavelengths of radiation only at very high doses can sometimes temporarily inhibit or override her ability to transform between forms. This is usually only a weakness if she is exposed during her original/Jennifer form.

Equipment:  Avengers Identicard, giving her "Full Security Clearance.
Her ex John Jameson 'Jupiter suit'   An for a time fearing control issues wore the suit to better hold control in She-Hulk persona.   She no longer wears the suit for such.

Iron Man, Thor, Hakweye, X-23, ArchAngel.

Neysha

CHARACTER NAME: Joystick
REAL NAME: Janice Yanizeski
AGE: Twenties
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Bisexual
AFFILIATION: Independent

APPEARANCE/COSTUME:

APPEARANCE WITHOUT COSTUME:

POWERS/ABILITIES:
Superhuman Physicality: Joystick possesses some super strength and endurance but is far more superhuman in the areas of speed, agility, dexterity, reflexes, balance and coordination.
Pure Action: Joystick's physical abilities combined with her martial skill and unique fighting style have denoted her as becoming the 'living embodiment of pure action' in combat and fighting, as her reaction speeds, coordination and and fighting tempo seems to accelerate more at will.
Energy Batons: Joystick is able to channel power through her gauntlets into a pair of energy batons that can be struck or hurled with incredible concussive force. When struck together, they can project a beam of similar concussive force aimed at targets a distance away.

WEAKNESSES:
Adrenaline Junkie: Being the 'living embodiment of action' means that a normal quiet life is simply not for her. She seeks out action, adventure and outlets for her aggression.
Escape Plan: Joystick grew up on the philosophy of always having a card to play. Previous commitments and loyalty will fade away in her mind if she ends up the victim. While she often approaches the viewpoint of enlightened self interest, and in doing good means doing well for herself, in extreme situations she becomes far more egotistical and selfish. When the going gets tough, she knows that it's always good to have an out if you're not on the winning side.

HISTORY:
Joystick's father was a degenerate gambler whose main offering to young Janice was the motto that she should always have a card to play and the best fight plan was to have a good escape plan. She found out in college that the quiet life of a normal person was not for her and got in trouble with local organized crime syndicates when it was found she was using her skills on the college basketball court to hedge sports bets in her favor. Ditching her family and the trouble she caused, she soon became involved with several shady companies and organizations to become a mercenary, robber and all around supervillain to satiate her desire for action and being an adrenaline junkie. Eventually this landed her on the wrong side of the law, and soon she was coerced to join the government sanctioned superhuman team of reformed supervillains known as the Thunderbolts.

Her time with them helped her mature as a person, and developed her powers to new levels. She even learned new skills, made ready friends and allies and for the first time learned what it meant to fight for something bigger then herself. She didn't care too much about saving the world or offering penance for what she had done, but she did enjoy how life as a Thunderbolt made her life far more interesting then anything else in her young life. Unfortunately her years on the Thunderbolts unraveled when she betrayed them on behalf of an Elder known as the Grandmaster and becoming his Agent in a bid to manipulate and conquer Earth and its superhuman population. Ultimately the Grandmaster was defeated and Joystick herself was beaten and sent to prison for her betrayal.

PERSONALITY:
An adrenaline junkie through and through, she is an extremely restless and tireless personality. She's both effusive, flirtatious, eager, and hyperactive. She also puts on the mindset of being dim witted, though it is mostly an act that allows others to perceive her as simple minded and easily manipulated. In battle, she can be ruthless and overzealous. Mostly her personality is shaped by her own worldview of making sure life is never boring, and that she never ends up on the losing side.

EQUIPMENT: Strontium Gauntlets for channeling the energy of her concussive energy batons.

CHARACTER NAME: Chamber
REAL NAME: Jonothon "Jono" Evan Starsmore
AGE: 27
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Straight

AFFILIATION: X-Men (Jean Grey School member); formerly New Warriors, Weapon X, Generation X, Empire State University

RELATIVES: Apocalypse (ancestor); Jack Starsmore (great-granddad); Blink (distant cousin); Akkaba Clan/Family (distant relatives)

APPERENACE/COSTUME:

APPERANCE WITHOUT COSTUME:

POWERS/ABILITIES:

   Chamber is a mutant.

He was for a time depowered, later repowered by Apocalypse's blood along with an "Apocalypse" look, but didn't show any use of his restored powers, although he was emitting radiations back, and eventually by Legion's reality warping, with his old appearance along.

He was stated by Pete Wisdom to be a potential Omega-Class mutant, while after his repoweration by Apocalypse's blood.

Psionic Biokinesis: Chamber was a mutant who was naturally composed of pure psionic energy. In truth his physical body was just a shell for what he truly was. The initial emergence of his powers blew a hole in his chest and lower face, completely incinerating most of his internal organs. Because of this, Chamber no longer needed to eat, drink, or breathe. Oddly enough, Chamber's blood did continue to flow through his extremities, as if propelled by a churning engine of psionic flame itself. However, he was sustained solely by the psionic flame that raged within his body. If it were somehow snuffed out, he would most likely have died. But then, he might argue that he already died once, and came back, so his reaction to a disruption of his mutant abilities may still have been unclear. As his flames were actually psionic in nature, and didn't rely on some form of fuel to continue to burn, they didn't seem to be affected by conditions that would be adverse to actual flame (ie. lack of oxygen, water, etc.)

Biokinetic Flame: Chamber constantly created and unleashed psionic charges of energy that could strike with concussive force, act as generic flame, or a laser that forcefully disrupts molecular bonds, causing inanimate objects to explode violently. It seemed Jono couldn't actively affect molecules containing Carbon in that same explosive manner, but those molecules were still very vulnerable to a direct hit with his biokinetic flame. It was shown that if chamber realized his full potential he could in fact rebuild his broken body or use his blasts in a number of ways, such as flying. Though lack of any real control over his power prevented that.

Projection Telepathy: Basically, he was a radio that could send out signals, but not receive them. Chamber couldn't read minds, probe thoughts, or see things that lied outside his line of sight. He could, however, use his abilities to 'speak' inside the minds of those near him. He could also create psionic illusions. For the most part, these projections were unfocused, and anyone within physical hearing (or viewing) range would be affected. Chamber was beginning to learn limited control over this, however, and was sometimes able to limit who heard and saw what he was projecting. Physical obstructions didn't affect these projections as they would real sounds and images. For instance, a person on the opposite side of a soundproof wall would still be able to hear him, as long as they were close enough.

Psionic Blasts: He could project psionic force bolts which had no physical effects but which could affect a victim's mind so as to cause the victim pain or unconsciousness and could even kill an adversary.

It was once suggested that Starsmore's physical form disintegrated a little more with each use of his power. The full range, extent, and nature of Starsmore's psychic abilities are unknown.

Because of the large infusion of Apocalypse's blood, Jonothon may have the other powers of Clan Akkaba such as enhanced strength and durability, as well as the ability to reshape his limbs into weapons. It was shown that his radiations were back along the cure, and was stated to be powered, even potentially to an Omega-class level.

Strength level

Chamber used to possess the normal human strength of a man his age, height, and build who engages in moderate regular exercise, but his new strength level is unknown.

WEAKNESSES: His emotions has prevented him from fully realizing his powers.

HISTORY:

Early Years

Jonothon Evan Starsmore ("Jono" to his friends) is a native of London and was a mutant who possessed a furnace of psionic energy in his chest. This power first manifested in an explosion that destroyed much of his chest and lower face and crippled his then-girlfriend Gayle Edgerton. As a result of his disfigurement, Chamber could only speak via telepathy. He did not eat, drink, or breathe. Either the psionic energy sustained him without needing his vital organs, or his body was merely a shell, and he was actually made up of psionic energy. This is further supported by the fact that Chamber was immune to the "Death Factor" of Omega Red, meaning that he was not sustained by "life force". The primary manifestation of his power was his ability to fire powerful blasts of psychokinetic force. Chamber is potentially one of the most powerful mutants to walk the earth, also at times when he was seen to 'cut loose' (with his abilities) but his emotional issues apparently prevented him from significantly exploring this potential. His disfigurement also left Chamber sullen and angry and his teammates often found him difficult to get along with.

Generation X

Shortly after his mutant powers manifested, Jonothon accepted an invitation to join Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. At the airport, he was attacked by Emplate, a vicious evil mutant who fed on mutant genetic material to survive, and the fledgling team of Generation X (M, Husk, Synch, Skin, and Jubilee) arrived to fight Emplate off. Shortly after, Chamber convinced the crazed Penance to stop attacking the team, as he could sympathize with her freakish appearance; she came to live with the team.

Emplate captured Chamber with Gayle's help, and then imprisoned both of them. Gayle blamed Jono for ruining her life, but the two managed to get over the pain after the rest of Generation X freed them. Chamber later became romantically involved with Husk, although their relationship was awkward and strained, and was terminated on more than one occasion.

Chamber grew even more depressed when he saw that Synch, who could duplicate a nearby mutant's powers, was more proficient with Chamber's own powers than Chamber himself was. When the school was outed as harboring mutant students, an anti-mutant group attacked the school. After Synch was killed preventing a bomb from killing nearby human students, the Generation X kids felt that their training was over, and they had to use their powers to help humanity.

X-Men

When the students moved on from the Massachusetts Academy of Higher Learning, Jono was offered a position with the X-Men. He declined however and returned to London, where he hooked up with pop star Sugar Kane, creating a publicity blitz for the singer, but Chamber ditched her after she told him she was using him for her image and joined the X-Men.

As an X-Man, Chamber investigated the apparent murders of mutant students of the pro-species-coexistence Students for Tolerance at Empire State University. He got to know a reptilian mutant, Amber, who was the only mutant student to remain at ESU when they shut down their mutant program, and also Walter, a paraplegic formerly hostile to the mutants but who will join the new ESU-Xavier Institute exchange student program.

Returning to the X-Men, Chamber saw Husk in the arms of Archangel. He attacked Archangel and left; he destroyed a bar with his mutant powers, and the X-Men turned him over to the police. While in prison, locked in a power-dampening helmet, Chamber received a visit from Brent Jackson, who offered him an invitation to join the Weapon X program. He accepted, though in reality he infiltrated the group on behalf of the X-Men. Weapon X restored his damaged body, but in the end, there was a rebellion in Neverland. Chamber made sure to help as many of his fellow mutants as he could, but this happened during M-Day. Chamber, like many of the mutants in Neverland and those being held by Weapon X, lost his powers. His new device that held his mutation at hold got destroyed, leaving a gaping hole in his chest and no jaw.

Probably due to his psi-powers replacing most of his lungs and heart, Cyclops was sure to see if Chamber had lost his powers. When they found out, Beast made a machine to keep him alive and Cyclops left him to be cared for at a hospital on life support while things cooled down at the mansion, and was visited by the reporter Sally Floyd, Frederick Slade posing as a therapist, and by the English mutant Pete Wisdom of Excalibur.

Because Wisdom's visit, he was moved to England by members of Clan Akkaba, descendants of Apocalypse, who used the blood of Apocalypse to heal the hole in his chest that had existed since his powers first manifested and restore his mutation. He was also revealed as a fellow descendant of Apocalypse and told that his powers would eventually return along the cure, who granted him an Apocalypse look, with grey skin and blue lips, and restored his Akkaba tattoo.

He was offered membership in the Clan, while he rejected, and left without opposition, and immediately ran into the new Excalibur team, who were looking for him since his abduction by the Clan. They offered to let him join them, but Jono said that he had had it with the X-Men and he just wanted to live his own life.

New Warriors

After that, he moved to New York, where former teammate and former mutant Jubilee asked him to join the New Warriors in hopes of fighting crime outside the constraints of the Registration Act.

Joining the team saved his life as he had recently become suicidal following his transformation. He was given a choice of several technological devices that would replace his lost powers. Choosing a vocal harness similar to Songbird's (after the explosive nature of his mutant powers, and his new connection to Apocalypse, he wanted powers that could create instead of destroy), he could emit a sonic scream (and several similar sound-based powers) along with the ability to harness his voice into the creation of hard-light objects.

Repowered and Rejoined the X-Men

After the events of Age of X Jono was re-powered and returned to his old appearance. He was said to be taking the return of his power (and subsequent loss of his chest and lower face) very hard. He stayed on Utopia and joined the X-Men.

Schism & Regenesis

Jono chose to go with Wolverine to start to the Jean Grey School. He gave classes about the physical change of the mutation. While doing so the class was attacked by Omega which forced Jono to defend his student.

X-Men Legacy

When David Haller lost control over his power and sub-personas due the mental shock caused by his father death, he started to wreak havoc around Asia. Chamber was part of the team that was assembled to track him down and stop him. When the X-Men finally found David Haller and engaged in battle with him, David used the power of his sub-persona named "The Skinsmith" to warp the skin around the hole in Chamber's chest and face causing the pressure from his power to build up. However, the pressure was stabilized by Beast by creating a hole with a pen. Chamber and the rest of the team chased David into an ammo store. Chamber fired a blast at the hut causing the ammo to explode and seemingly incinerate David. David escaped however, by folding reality and escaping.

Later, Blindfold recruited Chamber, along with Frenzy and Pixie, to aid Legion in a fight against the Red Skull.

When one of Legion's sub-personas went rogue and attacked the planet, infecting the human populace with overwhelming hatred and attempting to cause a nuclear war to wipe out the world, Chamber was one of a team of X-Men that responded to Legion's calls for aid. Chamber was killed by a blast of energy fired by the monster.

Later, he is resurrected by Legion, with his powers restored.

PERSONALITY: At times he can have a bleak outlook on life since he can be hard on himself at times. There are times when he can also be sullen and angry due to his disfigurement.

EQUIPMENT: None

Cal1496

Hey all, gunna throw my hat in for Captain America, Steve Rogers for the win.

Cal1496

     Captain America

Real Name: Steve Rogers
Known Aliases: Captain, Cap
Role: Leader, Avenger

Powers and Abilities:  Steve was genetically enhanced during WWII as part of a military program to combat Nazi's and such.  He is stronger, faster, and has more endurance than even the most fit of normal humans.  He has a wealth of military experience and is an exceptional leader in combat situations, maybe even the best.  Add to that, he has the best fortitude out there as soldier, willing to take bullet for any man or women he fights with.

Training and Equipment:
Signature vibranium shield, as well training in a wide variety of arms that enable him to pretty much drive, shoot or set off any type of explosive.  For the more technical stuff...Well, that is what Stark is for.

Background and History:  Born in Lower Manhattan in 1922, Steve did not grow up rich, it becoming even worse when his father died when Steve was young.  He and his mother carried on however till Steve was in his teens and she died as well.

At the on set of WWII and America's involvement, Steve like many a young man tried to join up.  Due to his frail body however, he was rejected a number of times.  It was then he was selected for Project: Rebirth, a super-soldier program within the military that turned Steve into just that, a Super-Soldier.  Steve is the top end of human conditioning, and it was with that in mind that he went on to fight Red Skull during the war.  It eventually leading to him taking a rather long nap in some ice.

When he awoke it was a to world very, very different from the one he had left behind.  One fueled so much by technology and want that he barely recognized it for the America he left behind.  It was only by looking past all the dazzle of it all that he saw this was still his home and that the people it were good.  He'd be lying though if he said that this was the world he'd fought for though...So ya, Steve these days tends to lie a lot.

Faults and Weaknesses:  Though at the peak of human might, Steve is still human.  He take a punch better, survive an explosion, beat poison better than anyone around, but he is human.  Bullets, fists from gods, all that stuff can still hurt and kill him in great enough quantities.  As for personal faults, Steve is stubborn.  The Civil War that took place between himself and Tony is proof of that.  His belief that what he is doing is right is absolute, and rarely does he see the otherside of things if it is clear his actions are doing something right.  He will protect the innocent at any cost, and his opponents have played on that before.  They always seemed to regret it after words when his shield is smashing them in the face, but Steve has little remorse for them then.

Current Relations and Activity:  Steve was pursuing some Hydra operatives when the attack took place.  He was just outside Cairo, dressed in civilian gear with his shield hidden beneath a blanket on the camel he was riding.  It was all very black ops, very under the radar; he hadn't had a radio for Christ sakes.  Seemingly that worked out for him, for while the rest of the world might think Captain America was dead, he was very much alive.  Cairo was battle ground now.  One where Steve, along with locals and tourists alike were engaged in heavy guerrilla warfare, hitting these invaders where it hurt, then sinking back into the ancient city.

Yes Steve wished he could do this on his home soul, but there was no way to do that.  He had to fight the fight he could, it was simple as that.

HISTORY: Wade Wilson's early life is mostly unknown. His mother died of cancer while he was young and his father (who was in the military) was physically abusive. Wade was a delinquent in his teenage years, possibly to spite his father. Following a brief stint of military service, Wade began his mercenary career while still in his late teens. Accepting assassination jobs only against those whom he felt deserved death, he made a habit of using plastic surgery and technology to take on a new identity whenever he failed an assignment.

He led a good career for a time. But soon began to succumb to a tragic illness. ... Cancer. A cruel twist of fate... The same thing that killed his mother. Fighting said fate, he joined a sub set of the Weapon x program. That was seeking to give humans mutant powers. for the promise it would cure him of his deathly desease. He was put into severe scientific procedures, This particular case, was to give the subject wolverine's healing factor. But an undesirable result occurred. His cancer accelerated. Leaving his body scarred, and deformed. And the severe pain, and agony of the procedure. On top of his discovery of being severely deformed. resulted in his mind shattering. Leaving him insane, and mentally unstable. Given these exact word's. "None of this is actually happening!...There is a man... At a typewriter...This is all his twisted imagination!" Hence the beginning of his tendency to break the forth wall. "Youd think these comic book writers will lend me some super strength. Ah well, hopefully when I get my own game they remedy that! Wait I have one.... They diddnt! THOSE BASTARDS! Ah well. I can always try for super speed."

With His now deformed body, on top of his new found mental state. Gave the doctors no choice but to dub him a failure and was there by placed in a hospice to die along side fellow failed experiments. While there, he made a few friends, and enemies. And, was placed in a small betting pool around the hospice referred to as a Dead pool.  A pool as to how long each subject would live. He is sentenced to death, after killing one of his friends, Worm. He did so only out of mercy, after Worm was lobotomized. He soon escaped, and ever since. Adorned his now iconic costume. “I fight for the men I have held in my arms, dying on foreign soil. I fight for their wives and children, whose names I heard whispered in their last breath. I fight for we few who did come home, only to find our country full of strangers wearing familiar faces. I fight so that all the fighting I've already done hasn't been for nothing, I fight: because I must.”

Character Name: X-23, Talon, Captain Universe, Laura Kinney

Played By: TamaRose

Real Name: Laura Kinney

Age: 23

Sexual Orientation: Bisexual

Height: 5'1"

Weight: 110 lbs

Hair: Black

Eyes: Green

Unusual Features: Eyes turn red under the influence of the "trigger scent"

Face Claim: Mila Kunis

Weapons:

Adamantium Claws: X-23's claws have been coated with the nigh-indestructible metal Adamantium. As a result, her claws are virtually unbreakable and are capable of cutting almost any substance, with the exceptions of Adamantium itself and Captain America's shield. Her ability to slice completely through a substance depends upon the amount of force she can exert and the thickness of the substance. Also, since the bones of her hands and wrists are not laced with Adamantium, it is likely that the reverberation of her claws could conceivably break her hands with significant force. Unlike Wolverine, the presence of Adamantium in her body is not sufficient enough to interfere with her bones' normal function of generating blood corpuscles, although it is as possible that some degree of her immune system is distracted by the presence of the foreign substance. Her claws can cut through the Hulk's skin and eyes.

Affiliation: X-Men-New Charles Xavier School Student Body,  Time-displaced X-Men, X-Men-Jean Grey Student Body, Avengers Academy, X-Force, New X-Men, X.S.E., X-Men Training Squads, Facility

Powers and Weaknesses:

Regenerative Healing Factor: Like Wolverine, X-23's primary mutant power is an accelerated healing factor that enables her to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. She is capable of fully healing injuries resulting in massive tissue damage and blood loss such as multiple bullet wounds, slash wounds, and puncture wounds within a matter of minutes. Her healing factor is developed to such a degree, she is capable of reattaching severed limbs, such as a hand. She has also proven capable of regrowing an entire arm on her own (Elixer was incapacitated at the time). Her healing factor may fluctuate with her psychological state as battle wounds tend to heal very quickly, but her self inflicted cuts appear to remain visible for some time.

Foreign Chemical Immunity: X-23's natural healing also affords her the virtual immunity to poisons and most drugs. She can be affected by some drugs, such as tranquilizers, if she is exposed to a massive dose.

Disease Immunity: Due to her highly efficient immune system, X-23 is immune to all Earthly diseases and infections.

Superhumanly Acute Senses: X-23 possesses superhumanly acute senses that are comparable to those of certain animals. She is capable of seeing at much greater distances, and with perfect clarity, than an ordinary human. She retains this same level of clarity in near-total darkness. Her sense of hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, allowing her to both hear sounds that ordinary human's can't and to hear sounds that ordinary humans can, but at much greater distances. X-23 is able to use her highly developed sense of smell to track targets by scent with an impressive degree of success, even if the scent has been eroded by natural factors, such as the weather.

Superhuman Stamina: X-23's muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the muscles of an ordinary human. She can exert herself at peak capacity for about 24 hours before fatigue begins to impair her.

Superhuman Agility: X-23's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Reflexes: X-23's reflexes are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.

Bone Claws: X-23's skeleton includes two retractable bone claws in each arm and one in each foot that she can extend and retract at will. These claws are housed beneath the skin and muscle. Unsheathing them causes her skin to tear and bleed, but the wounds are quickly dealt with by her healing factor. X-23 can unsheathe any number of these claws at once, although she must keep her wrists and/or feet straight at the moment the claws emerge. The claws are naturally sharp and tougher than normal human bone, allowing X-23 to cut through most types of flesh and natural materials.

Longevity: Presumably, because X-23 is a clone of the mutant Wolverine, her healing factor will also provide her with an extended lifespan by slowing the effects of the aging process.

Superhuman Durability: She was capable of fighting the Hulk without sustaining any severe injuries[citation needed] and surviving energy blasts from Nimrod (even if she required healing and nearly died).

Uni-Power: Laura has been occasionally seen wielding the powers of Captain Universe, and has the mark on her hand.

She has been classified as a severe threat by both the O*N*E and Nimrod.

Abilities:

Expert Covert Ops Training: Raised in captivity, due to her extensive training as a top-secret operative, X-23 has been trained to become a living weapon. She is highly trained in the use of long range weapons and explosives, and is an expert in assassination techniques.

Expert Tracker: Due to her enhanced sense of smell, Laura is a dangerous tracker and has memorized many different scents.

Master Martial Artist: She is a master in hand to hand combatant, with intensive training in numerous armed and unarmed martial arts techniques do to her raise in the facility.

Master Acrobat: She is an Olympic class athlete, gymnast, acrobat and aerialist capable of numerous complex maneuvers and feats.

Multilingual: Laura can speak fluent American English, French, and Japanese. She might be able to speak other languages.

Gifted Intellect: She possesses the ability to quickly process multiple information streams (e.g., threat assessment) and rapidly respond to changing tactical situations.

Peak Human Strength: Because of her healing factor, X-23 can push her muscles, joints, and ligaments to levels beyond the natural limits of a woman of her height, weight, and build without sustaining injury. Unlike Wolverine, her skeleton isn't laced with Adamantium. While her skeleton, much like her musculature, can withstand greater pressures than a normal human skeleton, she can only withstand so much weight and pressure without sustaining fractures. While not superhuman, she is as physically strong as an ordinary human can be and can lift about 800 lbs.

Weaknesses:

Induced Berserker Rage: She has also been subjected to conditioning in which a specific "trigger scent" has been used to send her into a berserker rage, killing anything in sight.

Powerful Energy Blasts: Injuries such as being hit with blasts of energy from Nimrod that caused her to age can't be healed, if she had been hit with it again she most likely would have died.

History:

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
When a top-secret program attempted to recreate the original Weapon X experiment that involved the feral mutant Wolverine, they failed to secure a test subject who could survive the bonding process of the virtually unbreakable metal Adamantium to their skeleton. Seeking to take the project in a new direction, the project's director, Doctor Martin Sutter, recruited renowned mutant geneticist Doctor Sarah Kinney and tasked her with creating a clone.

Using the only available genetic sample from Weapon X, which was damaged, they were unable to salvage the Y chromosome after twenty-two attempts. Kinney proposed they create a female clone, and though her request was initially denied, she still went ahead and produced a viable female subject, prompting Sutter to reconsider. Despite resistance from his protégé Doctor Zander Rice, whom Sutter had raised after Rice's father had been killed by a bestial Wolverine at the original Weapon X Project, Sutter allowed Kinney to proceed. As revenge for her insubordination, Rice forced Kinney to act as the surrogate mother for the clone, and she gave birth to "X-23".

Seven years later, raised in captivity X-23 was trained to be a weapon. Kinney did her best to ensure the child retained some semblance of humanity, but her efforts appeared to be in vain. After seven years, Rice had X-23 subjected to radiation poisoning in order to accelerate the activation of her mutant gene, and forcibly extracted her claws and coated them with Adamantium. After Rice realized the child was growing soft, he blamed her sensei, one of the few people who treated her with kindness, and tested a chemical compound called "trigger scent" on him. The "trigger scent" causes Laura to kill mercilessly anything in her path, and thus she murdered her best friend. Rice already had a replacement in the wings, a woman named Kimura. Kimura was harsh and strictly punished X-23 for the death of her sensei.

Three years later, X-23 was sent on her first field mission to kill Presidential candidate Greg Johnson. She was assigned the mission as somewhat of an "advertising" ploy. Numerous other missions followed, as X-23's services were sold to the highest bidder. She was left emotionally stunted as a result. Her missions took her to locations all over the world, including Saudi Arabia, Las Vegas, Japan, Colombia, the Congo, and many others. For one mission she was assigned to pose as the Kingpin's daughter and kill the ones who had captured her, bringing the head of their leader back. Rice, in an attempt to avenge his father's murder, abandoned X-23 on a particularly dangerous mission with A.I.M., but she survived against overwhelming odds and managed to return to the facility. After her return to the facility Kimura punished her for not coming back with Rice.

Sarah Kinney let her out once, not as an attempt to escape but instead to use X-23 to help her find Kinney's niece, Megan, who had been kidnapped. X-23 found and rescued her with ease. Ultimately, Rice persuaded Sutter to hand control of the program over to him, then secretly ordered X-23 to kill Sutter and his family. X-23 was able to kill Sutter and his wife but was unable to kill their son. Instead, she let him live. Later, Rice revealed to Kinney a chamber with dozens of incubation pods containing female clones before he fired her. Before fleeing the facility with X-23, Kinney gave her one last mission - destroy the pods and kill Rice. However, Rice was able to exact revenge on Kinney from beyond the grave, as he had earlier exposed her to the trigger scent, sending X-23 into a rage that caused her to kill her mother. As she lay dying, Kinney named X-23 "Laura".

X-23 traveled to San Francisco and tracked down Megan and Debbie (her mother's sister). Introducing herself as Sarah's daughter, she moved in with them. Although Megan experienced vivid nightmares of her abduction, her family believed these to be utter fantasies. X-23 informed Megan that the man in her nightmares was indeed real and that she had killed him.

Debbie's boyfriend turned out to be an agent for the Facility who had been instructed to manipulate X-23 into killing Megan and Debbie using the trigger scent. However, the agent fumbled the assignment and was killed by X-23. Facility agents stormed the house, led by Kimura. X-23 managed to get Megan and Debbie to safety by handcuffing Kimura to a radiator and then triggering an explosion in the house, buying some time. After X-23 and Megan parted, X-23 decided to confront the man who made her creation possible -- Wolverine.

X-23 tracked Wolverine to Xavier's mansion and engaged him in a battle, defeating him via tactics and maneuverability. However, she did not kill him. Instead, she told him why she had come. Wolverine revealed that he was aware of X-23's ordeal, having received a detailed letter from her mother. The talk was interrupted when Captain America came to arrest Laura.

As a captive of S.H.I.E.L.D., Laura was interrogated by Captain America and Matt Murdock. Despite the mayhem in her past, Matt Murdock accepted X-23's innocence. Captain America wanted X-23 to atone for the murders she had committed. However, he ultimately freed X-23 in order to avoid S.H.I.E.L.D.'s exploitation of her as their own weapon.

X-23 surfaced in New York two years later and was found living on the streets by a pimp named Zebra Daddy, who took her in and employed her as a prostitute. X-23 met Kiden Nixon, a young mutant with the ability to freeze time when in danger. Together with Kiden's teacher, they rescued another young mutant, the feral Catiana, from an angry mob. Zebra Daddy tracked X-23 down, but with the aid of her new-found friends and the mutant named Felon, Zebra Daddy's thugs were defeated. X-23 killed him to save the lives of her friends.

X-23 later took a job at the mutant-themed Wannabee's nightclub in the Mutant Town district of New York. It was there that she saved the life of the daughter of mob boss Don Parisi from a gang of thugs, whom she killed. The deaths inadvertently implicated Wolverine, prompting his teammates in the X-Men to investigate. X-23 instinctively attacked Wolverine on sight, but he was eventually able to calm her down. She led the X-Men to Parisi's daughter. After aiding the X-Men against Parisi's super-strong mutant enforcer Geech, X-23 fled the scene. She later returned to help the X-Men save victims of a car accident, after which she was enrolled at the X-Men's Xavier Institute.

X-23 quickly became very protective of Wolverine, attacking his teammate Bishop after he felled Wolverine during a training session. She also took to observing Wolverine on the mansion's security monitors. During one such viewing, an anomalous energy spike prompted X-23 to investigate. Encountering Spider-Man at the source of the signal, X-23 initially mistook him for an enemy and attacked. The pair ultimately teamed up to save the young mutant Paul Patterson from an alternate reality version of the armored Avenger Iron Man (Tony Stark). The arrival of the heroic Captain America and the super-spy Black Widow helped turn the tide.

X-23 secretly followed Wolverine on his investigation of strange activity in the Canadian Rockies. Ambushed by the Hauk'ka, evolved Saurians from the Savage Land, X-23 managed to escape and alert the X-Men. Traveling to the Savage Land, X-23 and the X-Men teamed with the Land's lord Ka-Zar and his circumstantial allies, the Savage Land Mutates, to prevent the Hauk'ka from destroying human civilization by controlling the weather-manipulating X-Man Storm.

Sometime later, X-23 was approached by the cosmic Uni-Power in hopes of making specific use of her healing ability. Although she initially resisted its attempts to bond with her, and she remained reluctant even though it pleaded with her. She ultimately agreed to aid it and became Captain Universe for a brief period of time.

New X-Men

After M-Day, X-23 was one of the few students who hadn't lost their powers. The depowered students and staff were sent home; however their bus was bombed by anti-mutant religious zealot Reverend William Stryker and his Purifiers. Subsequently, Emma Frost had the surviving students engage in an free-for-all brawl, with those deemed to be the best performers assigned to a new team of trainee X-Men. Despite Frost's attempts to omit her, X-23 was among those students who made the grade.

Shortly afterwards, following Stryker's attack on the depowered students, X-23 heard Dust talking to Icarus, who had fled the Mansion. Dust intended to meet Jay, but Laura told her it was a trap. She eventually had to knock out her roommate to keep her safe. Donning Dust's burka X-23 came to Stryker's compound and was shot. After a few minutes spent healing and playing possum, Laura returned to the Mansion to see it being attacked by Purifiers. Laura fought valiantly and helped fend off the intruders.

The kids grew to be more receptive of Laura following her part in stopping Stryker's attack, in which she single-handedly killed three Purifiers who had incapacitated Surge, Hellion, and Emma Frost. Subsequently, she started to bond with her friends, using her enhanced hearing to find out what happened to Icarus for them, learning that Stryker killed him.

After Surge received a distress call from Forge, X-23 followed the team to Dallas to rescue him from the sentinel Nimrod. At the height of the desperate battle she managed to cut through to the interior of the machine with her claws, allowing the sentinel to be defeated. She was mortally wounded during the battle by Nimrod's energy blasts and was unable to heal herself. In order to save X-23, Hellion supercharged his telekinetic powers (thanks to Emma Frost's telepathic unlocking) in order to rush her back to the mansion where she was healed by Elixir.

As Hellion recovered his strength, and found that his power levels had been massively enhanced, Laura kept watch over him.[7][3] Emma confronted Laura, asking her to leave the school because of the trigger scent. Their confrontation was cut short by Cessily coming to Laura's defense. Cessily pursued Laura, the two went out for coffee. However, the cafe was attacked by Kimura and her minions, who had come not to capture Laura, but Cessily.[3] Laura went back to the Xavier Institute where Hellion informed he was going with her to attack against the Facility. The two found a facility hideout where Laura interrogated a man at gun point. Julian was shocked when X-23 shot him in the head upon securing the information she needed. After an encounter with Kimura, the two found Cessily in liquid form, barely able to compose herself. They were attacked by Predators and saved by the combined forces of the X-Men and the New X-Men.

X-23 aided the X-Men in their fight against the Hulk. X-23 managed to knock over the Hulk and tore his eyes out. Eventually his eyes grew back, and he defeated X-23 by throwing her into a wall.

X-Force

When Cyclops ordered Wolverine to assemble the new X-Force, X-23 was tossed into the mix. As they caught up to Cable, the Reavers attacked, and X-23 attacked Lady Deathstrike, seemingly killing her. At Muir Island, X-Force attacked the Marauders and Predator X. When Predator X swallowed Logan X-23 became angry and attacked, and Wolverine finally killed it.

During X-Force's raid on a Purifer base, Purifer leader Matthew Risman brought out a captive Wolfsbane at gunpoint. While Wolverine called for the team to stand down, X-23 activated a concealed detonator that set off a series of powerful explosives she had planted earlier without telling her teammates. The explosion brought most of the base down around them but Risman was able to escape with Rahne during the chaos.[10] When X-Force regrouped later, Wolverine admonished Laura for being so reckless with the lives of her teammates and for letting Rahne get kidnapped. During their battle against the Purifiers, X-23 was able to complete her mission from Cyclops by killing Risman.

X-Force was given a mission to capture the Vanisher and get back the Legacy Virus he managed to get his hands on. X-23 went with Archangel and Wolverine to complete the mission, but it ended in failure. When X-23 tried to kill herself due to becoming infected with the Legacy Virus, Elixir stopped her and got rid of the Legacy Virus.

Messiah War:

X-23 later moved with the X-Men to San Francisco, where they were accepted as heroes by the mayor, having rejected the Fifty State Initiative. X-23 was roomed with Armor and Pixie. Laura left behind a towel covered with blood, which the latter brought to Emma Frost.

X-23 was finally reunited with Kiden Nixon. Sadly this future version of Kiden was hooked up to several machines and was used as a generator in order to create a temporal anomaly that disrupted time travel technology, essentially trapping X-Force (which was lethal for them if they didn't return within 33.5 hours), Cable and Hope in that era. While X-23 agonized over killing Kiden or not (Kiden herself asked for death) the matter was taken out her hands when Domino shot and killed her. X-23, Domino and Proudstar were dispatched back in order to save Boom-Boom, however both Domino and Proudstar fell ill due to the time travel. Feeling grateful for saving her friend and ending her suffering, X-23 disabled the time travel devices on the other two and went back in time in order to save Boom-Boom herself. She arrived just in time to stop the Leper Queen before she could kill Boom Boom out of spite for X-Force not killing her. X-23 then collapsed in exhaustion. H.A.M.M.E.R. then stormed the building, giving medical care, while they took X-23 in for questioning.

She was taken back to the Facility. There Laura was reunited with Kimura, who sawed off her left arm. Agent Morales arrived and helped Laura to escape. The rest of X-Force arrived and took Laura and her severed claws home. Laura was able to regrow her arm, and, at her request, Dr. Nemesis replaced the regrown bone claws with her original adamantium claws.

Finding Herself:

After the return of the so-called "Mutant Messiah", Laura began having nightmares of a demonic Wolverine. Cyclops suggests she try volunteering at a nearby halfway house for depowered mutants. Laura blacked out, and found the building burning down around her. She was taken to a hospital, and believed she was responsible for the fire and the deaths of almost all the occupants. Wolverine (currently possessed by a demon) entered and attempted to convince Laura that she has no soul. She stabbed him just as Julian walked in. Following this, Laura decided to leave Utopia to go out and find herself so that she could be more than just a killer. Gambit tracks her down after taking an interest in her, believing that he can help her find herself.

They first encounter Miss Sinister who convinces them to come with her to one of Mr. Sinister's hideouts where she has been taking care of several children that Mr. Sinister experimented on. Miss Sinister betrays them however and reveals that Mr. Sinister has been taking over her body and in order to evade death she attempts to move her consciousness into X-23's body. The process fails however and Gambit triggers the self-destruct sequence and escapes together with X-23. Their next journey takes them to Madripoor where they encounter Malcom Colcord who is trying to restart the Weapon X program, as well as Daken, Wolverine's son. Gambit, X-23 and Daken make an uneasy alliance despite Gambits better judgement and they manage to drive Colcord out.

They find out that Colcord has been developing the trigger scent that drives X-23 into a killing rage and has found a way to make it effect ordinary people. They follow the scents trace to Paris where they encounter Wolverine and newly turned vampire Jubilee. They all team up to find the scent and manage it but fail to find the person running things. X-23 also strikes up a new friendship with Jubilee. They next travel to New York where they encounter the Future Foundation. A demon king has escaped from his prison and due to her previous status as host of the Enigma Force X-23 is instrumental in re-imprisoning him.

With the help of the Enigma Force, X-23 manages to return him to the dimension that is his prison and escape, saving Valeria Richards in the process and earning the trust of the Future Foundation. She is asked to babysit Valeria and her brother by Sue Storm but is pulled into the Collector's space ship together with the kids and Hellion who stopped by in order to win Laura back. They manage to defeat the Collector and make their way back but upon returning, Laura breaks all ties with Hellion. She and Gambit eventually part ways, as Laura chooses to go the Avengers Academy, not feeling that she belongs with either X-Men team anymore while Gambit chooses to go to Westchester with Wolverine.

Avengers Academy:

After the events of Fear Itself, Laura joined the Avengers Academy. Reptil, possessed by a future version of himself, made a comment to Hazmat, making her think that Laura was hitting on Mettle. She butts heads with Hazmat for quite some time until she proves herself to truly be on the Avengers' side. She chooses to stay with the Avengers after freeing her former X-Man peers to fight in the Avengers vs X-Men conflict. Right now she has been kidnapped by Arcade and the others in Avengers Academy.

Circle of Four:

X-23 tracked down to Las Vegas the man who stole her blood, who turned out to be Blackheart, he cloned her and bonded the clones with symbiotes, creating Symbiote Warriors.

Laura then made an alliance with Venom, Red Hulk (who was there chasing Venom) and Ghost Rider (who noticed the presence of Blackheart). Each four of them fought their Anthithesis until they were all finally killed. Laura killed the Symbiote warriors and then she moved to Blackheart who distracted her by telling her since he created her clones he knew if the clones had souls or not and she was herself a clone. Wanting to know if she had a soul or not she stopped, and Blackheart mockingly told her that she was in hell and she was suffering which meant she did have a soul. Then he seemingly killed her by throwing her into lava. In Hell, Mephisto offered the heroes a new chance to live in exchange for defeating Blackheart. While X-23 found Blaze, the other three managed to get the Spirit of Vengeance, which had been trapped by Blackheart, and wanted to get it to Blaze, so he would become Ghost Rider again. During the battle, Red Hulk and Venom were thrown away by Blackheart, Flash gave the symbiote to Red Hulk and it bonded with him as well as the Spirit, thus becoming the new Ghost Rider.

Blackheart was defeated when Ghost Rider used a mirror which created Antitheses, being defeated by his. Meanwhile, X-23 and Flash were trying to help Johnny Blaze to return Hell from the dimensional portal and destroy it. When Las Vegas returned to normal, Red Hulk returned the symbiote to Flash and the Spirit of Vengeance to Alejandra. After the Secret Avengers arrived, X-23 left the scene.

Avengers Arena:

X-23 along with 15 other people were kidnapped by Arcade and transported to Murderworld. Arcade forces all 15 people including X-23 to take place in a game of kill all or be killed. Arcade has stated he will only allow 1 of the 16 to live.

The games begin after Mettle sacrifices himself for Hazmat. As the groups separate Laura joins the remaining Avengers Academy students, which included Reptil, Hazmat, and Juston Seyfert. The group were then accidentally attacked by the female Deathlok named Rebecca Ryker who attacked Hazmat as a defense protocol.

After a few days a unknown enemy has begun to attack the camps. Laura begins to investigate the attacks. During the search Juston disappears after he was attacked while repairing his Sentinel. Laura soon came into contact with Cammi who she spared after she found out that it was not her attacking the camps.

Laura later meeting up with Hazmat and Reptil encounter the Runaways, Nico and Chase for shelter in exchange they will share food. The team agree, that until Reptil is suddenly hurt by a fire blast which Laura and her team believe is Chase doing. The group then banishes Nico and Chase away as the trio remain together.

Reptil begins to recover later on and informs both X-23 and Hazmat that it wasn't Chase but Deathlocket who attacked him. It wasn't too long after that Hazmat stepped on a switch to activate a trigger scent causing Laura to go feral and attempt to kill her team members. Hazmat and Reptil manage to escape, and left Laura on her own. She would later encounter Juston Seyfert once she regained her senses, and see that he was alive but in bad condition.

All-New X-Men:

Following her rescue from Murderworld, Laura somehow ended up wandering the streets of Miami in an amnesiac state, where she was rescued from a Purifier attack by Kitty Pryde and the time-displaced original X-Men.They returned her to Cyclops's base, where she panicked upon awakening inside a Weapon X facility and attempted to flee, the situation being exacerbated by confusion over seeing younger versions of Cylops, Jean, Iceman, Beast and Angel. The teenaged Scott managed to catch up with her and managed to calm her down after recognizing Cyclops's scent. Though still confused, her memories started to return. When the X-Men attacked the Purifiers, they were caught off guard by Jason Stryker and captured. At the Purifier's base, X-23 was captured and tortured nearly to death repeatedly by the Purifiers with videos of Murderworld. The rest of the X-Men managed to escape, and found X-23. When Cyclops found Laura, she surprised himSeeing the stress she was under, Cyclops surprised her with a hug, explaining to the bemused X-23 that it looked like she needed one.

Based on Laura's intelligence the team launched an attack against William Stryker, Jr., which failed catastrophically and the entire team was captured, though upon recognizing them as having come from the past, Stryker refrained from killing them to prevent damage to the timeline. Laura, however, he tortured by showing her the footage from Murderworld that Arcade released to the internet, including prominent imagery of her attacking the other kids in a trigger scent-induced rage. Seeing herself in this state, and the knowledge that the entire world has also seen it, finally broke her control, and when Cyclops broke free and rescued her, she threw herself into his arms for comfort.

X and the rest of the team returned to base following their escape from the Purifiers, but they would have little time to relax. Laura was busy blowing off steam in the Danger Room under Kitty's supervision when the Shi'Ar, having learned that Jean Grey had returned, attacked and took her captive. Laura fought in her defense along with the rest of the team, but was neutralized, and the Shi'ar escaped to put Jean on trial for actions her elder self committed while in possession of the Phoenix Force.

The Guardians of the Galaxy arrived just as the Shi'Ar fled, and the teams joined forces to bring her back. The Guardians' ship was attacked by a Shi'ar warship covering the kidnappers' withdrawal, and though Laura intended to join in the defense, Gamora declined her assistance, though praised her courage, leaving her and the rest of the X-Men to sit and wait. The arrival of Corsair and The Starjamers turned the tide of the battle, and the teenaged Scott was stunned and overwhelmed to learn his father was still alive. As he went to digest this in private, Laura followed after him and, after a brief conversation, returned the hug he gave her when they first met, noting that he needed it.

Upon arrival at the Shi'ar homeworld, Quill helped to formulate the plan of attack. X-23, knowing Jean's scent, volunteered to track her. However Gladiator, having anticipated their arrival, met them upon disembarking, and a fight between the combined forces of the X-Men, Shi'ar, and Starjammers against Gladiator's forces began, in which X-23 participated. Ultimately, the conflict was resolved by Jean herself, who had already escaped imprisonment and manifested a new power combining her telekinesis and telepathy, and drawing upon the psychic energy of all those around her. Gladiator ultimately stood down, and Jean and the X-Men were permitted to depart.

Upon returning to Earth, Cyclops chose to remain with his father and departed the team, asking Laura to help keep an eye on his friends. Distraught by his leaving, Laura decided to leave the team herself, with only the teenaged Warren realizing she was doing so. She rebuffed his attempt to convince her return, however, and continued on her way. Much to her surprise she ran into Cyclops, who claimed to have returned. However this turned out to be a ruse, and with her guard down Raze, who had disguised himself as Scott, easily overwhelmed and gutted her, before disguising himself as her in turn and infiltrating the X-Men's base.

Laura herself, however, survived his attack and hurried back to find the X-Men under attack by the Future Brotherhood. Jean used her telepathy to mask Laura's presence, and enabled her to catch Xavier, Jr. off guard,at which point she severely wounded him with her claws, breaking his control over the X-Men and enabling them to fight back. During the conflict it was discovered that Molly Hayes, Deadpool and Beast had been mentally controlled by Xavier, and that Xorna no longer existed. While Laura fought Raze to a standstill, Xavier attempted to flee, only to be captured.

In the aftermath of the battle, Warren invited Laura out on a date to unwind, to which she reluctantly agreed. The pair ended up at a goth club where a night of dancing ended in a brawl when some of the club-goers took exception to Warren accidentally striking them with his wings. Laura might have killed one of the thugs during the fight when he grabbed her by the hair, but Warren was able to stop her. The pair took advantage of the opportunity to escape, and flew back to one of the Worthington family's retreats, where they spent some time talking. Laura found herself confused why Warren would be interested in her, but admitted she was enjoying herself. It is implied that the couple had sex.

Upon returning to base the next morning (just in time to watch Cyclops, Emma Frost, and several others depart for the reading of Charles Xavier's will), Laura requested Warren be a gentleman and not discuss what happened the night before, and Warren, for his part, held up his end when questioned by Bobby, though Jean briefly confronted her about it, and encouraging her to pursue the relationship. Any such thoughts would have to wait, however, as Cerebra's detection of a new mutant convinced Jean that the team was ready to help them on their own.

The team took off and located her, but when confronted with the knowledge the girl panicked and opened a portal to another universe, stranding the team and scattering them.X found herself turning up in the middle of a football field during a game and, after an altercation with the players led to a police chase, she made her way back to Canada, where she met up with Warren who had ended up in the Savage Land. Warren's relief to see her safe was interrupted by the arrival of Jimmy Hudson (Earth-1610), who had tracked Warren after encountering him in Antarctica. Hudson revealed that in this universe, mutants were not a naturally evolution, but the result of genetic experimentation, and stunned Laura by announcing his father was Wolverine.

The Logan Legacy:

News of Logan's death reached Laura sometime after their return from Earth-1610. Angry and upset, and questioning her role in life now that the man she looked to most for guidance was gone, she departed the X-Men to do some soul-searching. Laura ended up in a nightclub blowing off steam and was in the midst of being propositioned (and mostly politely telling the John that though she did once sell her body, this was no longer the case) when the club was attacked by a gang of disaffected youths calling themselves the Happy Clams. Laura immediately sprung into action to fight them off, and her willingness to use lethal force put her temporarily at odds with another hero come to disrupt the attack named Chinook, who prevented her from killing the leader of the group. He did, however, help her escape the site of the battle once the police arrived and brought her to his safe house, where he revealed he already knew who she was, and his own identity: former Alpha Flight member Colin Hume.

Hume revealed that after being depowered during M-Day he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and decided he would rather continue fighting and making a difference. He tells her about the importance of colors and symbols, and how putting on his costume has meaning to people beyond just his actions. Laura then agreed to assist him in an attack on Pink Pearl, who was organizing the Clams. Afterwards she returned to the X-Men, revealing she had taken her talk with Hume to heart; in honor of Logan she had dyed the forelocks of her hair blue and gold, and remarked to Kitty that she not longer felt angry about Wolverine's death, just sad, but that she has also found a source of pride in their relationship.

Sometime later Laura was captured at the orders of a mysterious masked individual who had also kidnapped Daken, Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, Mystique and Elixir. He revealed that Dr. Cornelius of the Weapon X project had captured them all at some point in the past and implanted several trigger words into them that would allow them to be controlled or killed at a word. Their captor offered to assist them in escaping Cornelius's control on condition that they assist him with a particular task which also concerned them greatly. If they refuse, he would use the trigger word to kill them

THE PLOT:

So When the Game Starts I think we should Say Apocalypse attacked the Avengers tower with the help of his Disciples. The Disciples Been such Villians as The Grim Reaper, Moonstone, Super Skrull and Dakken. They thought they were going to be the four horsemen but it became apparent Apocalypse wanted Logan, Peter, Wanda and Bruce. Apocalypse *Ship* has once more taken hold of New York City and now the Island is cut off from the rest of the Country. So all the action takes place in New York, a giant force field is around the City and no one can get out.

His plan is to kill the reaming heroes in the City and once they are dead he can move onto the world.

So with the heroes that you guys have picked I think this is basically a new team of Avengers going up against Apocalypse and his four horsemen. Thoughts?

Cal1496

Team?!  Ha!  Is a cluster fuck of survivors more like lmao

Speak for yourself. The Scientist Supreme has a plan, and  it involves putting a giant-sized boot to Apocalypse's ass.

Cal1496

Oh why don't you and Reid get a room, some lotion and enjoy stroking each other's "ego's"  :P

And I was speaking more to the dynamic's of the "team" as a cluster fuck.  Deadpool and Cap alone is just ridiculous and then Chamber!  Frakking Chamber!  He looking for some new boots in Manhatten when the attack happened? lol

Cal are you causing trouble again? lol Nice to see you again. It has been awhile. It's nice to see you playing the Captain! :P

Not clever. I'll go with that.

Good effort, though.

I ditched Pym's size reduction powers so as not to step on Wasp's toes. His density powers more than make up for it anyway.

Plot sounds good. Pretty sure I got quicksilver reserved as well. And maybe Darwin. Was asked to do quicksilver and he seems like fun. Darwin seems like a good late game guy though. When him and his lovely wife Death get mad about Apocalypse killing their friends, filling up their home, and stealing Death's name. Having him and Death around could just be a blast later I think, especially with Deadpool around.

For now though just quicksilver trying to save his sister. Which I should have up soon I just have to find the right picture and a few other things.

You got any room in your gallery for Rogue? I've got a hankerin' to kick some Apocalyptic tail...send him cryin' back to his Momma like a newborn pup from its own shadow. Unless you think you've got it covered...I can always just sit here a spell and watch the light show til you realize you can't live without me. ;)

So what about silver surfer for this game? Would he be too strong?

I'd love to see the surfer, but he's as overpowered as the Sentry by default. I'd recommend finding a reason to power him down or limit his narrative impact like I did with Sentry below.

TheScarletBlade

I figured that would be the case but its hard to power down the power cosmic....Norin Radd would be pretty useless against apocalypse.

Captain Whitebread

Character Name: Cannonball

Played By: Captain Whitebread

Real Name: Sam Guthrie

Age: 30

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Height: 6'

Weight: 181 lbs

Hair: Blonde

Eyes: Blue-Grey

Face Claim: Ryan Kwanten

Affiliation: New Mutants; X-Men: X.S.E; Mutant Liberation Front,; X-Corporation; X-Force; Hellions; Hellfire Club

History: Sam Guthrie is a mutant whose superhuman powers first emerged when he was trapped with co-workers in a coal mine collapse. His emerging powers allowed them to escape. He was then recruited by Donald Pierce, a renegade member of the Hellfire Club, to use as a tool to destroy other young mustants he had discovered, and Professor Charles Xavier, who had also discovered these mutants, new recruits of Xavier’s. However, during the battle, Guthrie refused Pierce’s order to kill them, and Pierce tried to kill him in retaliation. Xavier saved the entire group by defeating Pierce.

Xavier realized that Guthrie was not evil, and invited him to join his newly formed training group, The New Mutants. With the NM, Guthrie had many adventures, including trips to the future and past, to alternate worlds, to Asgard, and into deep space. Guthrie quickly rose to the position of co-leader of the group. He was with the group up until they disbanded and became X-Force under the leadership of Cable.

As X-Force, the group continued to adventure, but demonstrated considerable growth, both in character and ability. The group had ’grown up‘, and finally took the reins away from their adult leaders to strike out on their own. Sam became the group’s leader in every way until he was “graduated” to the X-Men by Professor X.

Sam spent only a short time with the X-Men, eventually returning to his friends in X-Force after Operation: Zero Tolerance, once more becoming that group’s mainstay. Recently the group has undergone a dramatic change, and has placed Pete Wisdom, the British Black Air agent, as it’s overall leader. Sam has experienced some subtle changes to his abilities, as he has discovered some more subtle (and not so subtle) uses.

In their first mission, however, Wisdom was killed by the mad geneticist, Nilas Roman. X-Force continued to operate without him for many months, even faking their own deaths and acting as a pro-mutant terrorism group, going so far as to kill groups and companies that abused and killed mutants. To avoid recognition, Sam dyed his hair and beard black, which led to him looking quite a lot like the late Pete Wisdom. After a disastrous encounter with Wisdom’s sister, Romany, however, X- Force broke up and went their separate ways, though they still got into a fight with the new media-friendly X-Force (now X-Statix) over the team’s name.

Sam eventually joined the European branch of the X-Corporation, operating out of Paris, France with some former X-Force and Generation X members, as well as some new faces. The mutants were lured into a trap in the tunnel connecting Paris and Great Britain by the Weapon Plus project - an incident that cost dozens of lives among the humans and the life of another member of X-Corporation.

After helping with the relief work, Sam decided to retire from the world of mutant affairs. He happened across his old flame, Lila Cheney, and spent some time travelling the galaxy with her rock band. Eventually returning to Earth, the couple, back together again, took up residence in Paris. Cannonball kept himself updated on the various adventures and mishaps the diverse X-teams were facing and finally decided he could not hide from his old life anymore. He contacted Storm and signed on as a member of her outsider group of X-Men, as he figured that their dream of making sure that humans and mutants played nice with each other was right up his alley.

More on Marvel.com: http://marvel.com/universe/Cannonball_%28Sam_Guthrie%29

Personality: Cannonball is the only remaining original member of the original New Mutants squad. Though he often seems a hayseed farm-boy overly supplied with naivete, he has a plethora of otherwordly experience, has been to space and other dimensions, and has been a (short-lived) member of the X-Men. His determination in the face of overwhelming odds never wavers, and he remains his generation’s staunchest supporter of Xavier’s Dream.

Sam was a country boy who saw the world through the veil of his own naivete, but who had dreams of something bigger, ala Luke Skywalker. And just like Luke, the dreams came true bigger than he expected. But he has grown into what may be called a soldier for the Dream. He has been influenced by many different mentors and friends, from Cable to Xavier to Magneto, and his world view encompasses almost everything he has seen and done. To consider him Cyclops, Jr. is not far off the mark.

Sam is brave, gentlemanly, considerate, loyal to his friends, unassuming, unpretentious, and so on. Because he has seen that life is too short and too precious for anything but your best.

Sam has been best friends with former teammate Roberto DaCosta (Sunspot), and until recently had a romantic relationship going with Tabitha Smith (Meltdown).

Powers/Abilities: Cannonball possesses the ability to bodily generate thermo-chemical energy and release it through his skin. Accompanied by smoke, flame, and condensation, the equal and opposite reaction to this energy release propels his body through the air like a human rocket. Originally, Cannonball was unable to stop the propulsion until his immediate store of energy was depleted or until he hit an object of sufficient mass to stop him. With practice, however, Cannonball can now cut off his propulsive power at will. As a side effect of forming the thermo-chemical energies over the surface of his body, Cannonball is rendered virtually invulnerable while in flight. Accompanying the release of energy is a half-inch thick energy field that channels the explosion and protects his skin from the direct effects of the blast. It also negates momentum and related effects, thereby cushioning his body from any impact up to a half-minute from the depletion of his energy. Cannonball's "blast field" extends to any person or object with which he is in physical contact, and he can extend it further by concentrating to form a protective shield, even while standing still. Cannonball is also able to absorb kinetic energy through the field he generates and use it to either strengthen his field or redirect it as concussive force. Cannonball once recovered from mortal injuries that left him seemingly dead. It has been theorized that Cannonball's recovery was an indication that he was an External, one of a group of immortal mutants. However, since it has subsequently been demonstrated that even Externals can be permanently killed, doubt has been cast on his alleged immortality.

CHARACTER NAME: Hawkeye, Goliath II, Ronin
REAL NAME: Clinton Francis Barton
AGE: 36
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
HEIGHT: 6'
WEIGHT: 180 lbs
AFFILIATION: Avengers, S.H.E.I.L.D

APPEARANCE/COSTUME:

APPEARANCE WITHOUT COSTUME:
[/img]

POWERS/ABILITIES: While Hawkeye has no superhuman powers (with the exception of the period when using Pym particles to become Goliath), he is at the very peak of human conditioning; he is an exceptional fencer, acrobat and marksman, having been trained from childhood in the circus and by the criminals Trick Shot and Swordsman. This includes considerable strength, as a supervillain found out when he tried to use the superhero's 250 pounds-force (1,100 newtons) draw weight bow and found that he could not draw back the string to launch an arrow.

Hawkeye has also been thoroughly trained by Captain America in tactics, martial arts, and hand-to-hand combat. Hawkeye excels in the use of ranged weapons, especially the bow and arrow, and carries a quiver containing a number of customized "trick arrows". In his role as Ronin, Barton shows great proficiency with the katana and other melee weapons. He has gained a reputation for being able to "turn any object into a weapon", and has been seen using items such as tin plates, coins, sticks and other debris to great effect against his enemies.

Hawkeye is also known to use a "Sky-Cycle" as his mode of transportation. The Sky-Cycle is modelled after a commercial snowmobile and is fitted with anti-gravitational technology. It is voice-operated and has an auto-pilot steering system. The original Sky-Cycle was custom made for Hawkeye by Jorge Latham while he was employed by Cross Technological Enterprises. Latham was later employed by the West Coast Avengers and built several more. Hawkeye is also a highly skilled pilot of many types of aircraft, including Avengers Quinjets and various SHIELD craft.

WEAKNESSES: None, aside from possibly overconfidence.

HISTORY:

After his death Hawkeye joins the Avengers once more, he begins a brief romantic relationship with team member the Wasp. He also embarks on some solo adventures where he uncovers a plot to steal an ancient artifact in Laos, and investigates the murder of a former Soviet colonel. The Scarlet Witch, driven mad by her powers, causes a Kree warship to appear over the skies of New York. The Avengers, surprised by the appearance of the spacecraft, spring into battle. During the battle, Hawkeye's quiver of arrows is set on fire. Knowing that the explosive arrows were going to blow faster than he could remove them, Hawkeye flies into the engines of the Kree warship, destroying the spacecraft and sacrificing himself to save his teammates. A past version of Hawkeye is also plucked from time by the Time Variance Authority to serve as a juror in a case involving former Avengers teammate She-Hulk. She-Hulk tries unsuccessfully to warn Hawkeye as to his future.

When the Scarlet Witch inadvertently alters reality, Hawkeye is resurrected with no memory of previous events. When a young mutant named Layla Miller gives several heroes (including Hawkeye) the ability to remember, he is horrified at the Scarlet Witch's actions. Hawkeye shoots Wanda in the back with an arrow. In retaliation, one of her recreated children wipes Hawkeye from existence, killing him once more. When the Scarlet Witch's reality is eventually undone, Hawkeye is still presumed dead. However, the recently formed New Avengers find his bow and arrows on the site of the old Avengers Mansion, pinning up an article about his death.

Unknown to the New Avengers, Hawkeye is resurrected once reality was restored. He seeks out Doctor Strange, who offers Hawkeye shelter while he comes to terms with his new life. Against the advice of Dr. Strange, Hawkeye eventually travels to Wundagore Mountain and finds the Scarlet Witch living a normal life with no memory of her past and apparently without mutant abilities. The two become intimate and Hawkeye then leaves Wanda to her normal life.[66] Returning to the United States, Hawkeye learns about the assassination of Captain America. He confronts Tony Stark, who then offers Hawkeye the Captain America shield and costume to continue the legacy. Hawkeye is later inspired by the words of Kate Bishop, whom he met while hiding his identity, and rejects Stark's offer.

Hawkeye returns to see Dr. Strange and meets the New Avengers. The team invites Hawkeye to join the team. Hawkeye accepts, and accompanies the team on a mission to Japan to rescue Echo. However, leaving behind his Hawkeye identity, Clint Barton takes on the disguise of Ronin. Echo, the original Ronin, later gives Barton her blessing to adopt her old identity. Clint later meets Kate Bishop again, but this time reveals his true identity, much to Kate's surprise. Impressed with Kate's skill with a bow, and the fact she reminds him of himself at her age, Clint blesses Kate to continue using the Hawkeye codename.

Clint (as Ronin) was part of the New Avengers team that head to the Savage Land after a tip from Spider-Woman that a Skrull ship had crash landed there. Emerging from the crashed ship was a selection of heroes claiming to have been abducted, one of which was Mockingbird. Clint believes that she is the real Mockingbird until Mister Fantastic's invention proves that the heroes from the Skrull ship were all imposters. Later, after the war for Earth was won, Clint is reunited with the real Mockingbird, who was revealed to have been held captive by the Skrulls for years.

Clint attempts to help Mockingbird as she tries to adapt to life back on Earth. He accompanies her to Zaragoza, Spain, to battle Monica Rappaccini and the hordes of A.I.M. in an effort to deactivate a "dirty bomb" designed by the evil scientific group. Despite their years apart, Clint and Mockingbird battle with comfort and understanding. They manage to defeat A.I.M. and foil their evil plot.

At the conclusion of the Skrull war, S.H.I.E.L.D. is dissolved and Norman Osborn is placed in power of national security. Osborn creates his own team of villainous Avengers by stealing the costumed identities of previous Avengers. The supervillain assassin Bullseye joins the team and takes on the mantle of Hawkeye.[74] Watching the Avengers news coverage on television with the rest of the New Avengers, Clint is stunned to see the events taking place. Clint unmasked himself on network television and publicly denounces Norman Osborn and his regime. He is later elected as the leader of the New Avengers and makes toppling Osborn and the Hood from power his number one priority. Clint argues that the only way to beat Osborn is to kill him, although the rest of the team disagree. Not backing down from his argument, Clint attempts to storm Avengers Tower single handedly to achieve his goal. He defeats the Dark Avengers, but is captured and arrested when, after failing to kill Norman Osborn,
he is attacked from behind by Ares. Clint was imprisoned and tortured at the hands of Mentallo. He was later freed by his team mates, and apologized for his actions.

Clint aids Captain America, Falcon and Black Widow as they battle the Red Skull and his henchmen to rescue Sharon Carter and the time-displaced Steve Rogers.  Captain America later leads the New Avengers (including Clint) against Norman Osborn's forces as they attempted to lay siege to Asgard.

After the events of Siege, Steve Rogers puts together a new team of Avengers. Clint joins the team and returns to his Hawkeye identity(although he encourages Kate Bishop to keep the Hawkeye identity as well). He and Mockingbird are also members of the New Avengers, although Hawkeye later leaves the New Avengers when he receives an Avengers priority call from the main team, claiming that he was only there to spend time with his wife.

Hawkeye aids Mockingbird and her anti-terrorist organization, the World Counter-terrorism Agency. Together, they thwart Crossfire's illegal arms operation, and encounter Lincoln Slade's descendant, Jaime Slade, who later goes onto become the new Phantom Rider. Crossfire and the new Phantom Rider team-up to battle the heroes. This feud has its casualties with Mockingbird's mother being severely wounded and the death of Hamilton Slade, both at the hands of Crossfire. Hawkeye leaves the W.C.A. after it becomes clear that his relationship with Mockingbird has become too strained. However, he quickly rejoins after being informed by Steve Rogers that a kill list of international spies includes Mockingbird.

Hawkeye and Mockingbird team-up with the Black Widow to take on the mysterious new Ronin and the Dark Ocean Society. The new Ronin is later revealed to be Alexei Shostakov, the former Red Guardian and ex-husband of the Black Widow. During the final battle with the new Ronin, Hawkeye receives a strong blow to the head. When the battle is won, he assures Mockingbird and Black Widow that he suffered no ill effects from the blow. The blow to the head that Hawkeye received proves to be more serious than first thought. While battling the Lethal Legion with the Avengers, Hawkeye's aim is shown to be faltering. After the battle, Tony Stark, Donald Blake and Steve Rogers examine Hawkeye to discover what is causing it. Their diagnosis is that Hawkeye is steadily losing his sight and will soon go blind. Iron Man provides Hawkeye with technology that should stall the blindness. Later, Trick Shot arrives at Avengers Tower on the brink of death. Trick Shot tells Hawkeye that he was forced to train
another archer, one who was as good as Hawkeye, before dying in his arms. Hawkeye was later ambushed by his brother Barney (who was revealed to have been the one trained by Trick Shot) who now goes by the name Trickshot. Barney manages to subdue Hawkeye and bring him Baron Zemo. Baron Zemo had the brothers duel to the death. Hawkeye (despite going blind from a previous injury with the third Ronin) manage to best Trickshot in battle. Before teleporting away, Baron Zemo transferred Trickshot's criminal funds over to the "victor" Hawkeye, then taunted the hero for turning his brother against him. In custody, Trickshot agreed to a bone marrow transplant to save his brother's sight, but only so he could battle Hawkeye again in the future.

Following the events of Fear Itself, the Avengers Academy is reopened in Palos Verdes at the former West Coast Avengers headquarters, where Barton accepts an offer to become a teacher. Cullen Bunn, writer of Captain America & Hawkeye, stated the costume was influenced slightly by The Avengers.[98] In 2012, Hawkeye becomes the leader of the Secret Avengers.

PERSONALITY:

Bit of a jokester, Clint however knows when to takes things seriously and despite lacking in what people call super powers, is one of thee most valuable members of the Avenger's.

WEAKNESSES: While Natasha is superhuman, she is not immortal. Normal weapons can still harm and kill her. Anything that could possibly kill a normal human could kill/seriously injure her.

HISTORY: Trained to be an assassin by the Soviet Union when she was a young girl, Natasha is deadly and beautiful. The Red Room hardened her skills, more so when she received some training from the Winter Soldier. It was there she was given the codename: Black Widow.

Originally working against SHIELD, Natasha had attempted to assassinate Iron Man with the help of Hawkeye. However, their attempts were continually thwarted. The last one left Black Widow injured, forcing Hawkeye to get her to safety. During their time together, they developed a romantic relationship. But it was dangerous for both of them as their loyalties were called into question, especially when Natasha tried to defect from the Soviet Union. She was eventually almost killed by her employers and Hawkeye became convinced to seek out the Avengers.

After being captured, Natasha was brainwashed and told to destroy the Avengers. When she failed, she somehow was able to break free of the effects of their brainwashing. She appealed to Fury for membership to the Avengers. However, when Fury asked her to spy on her former master on behalf of SHIELD, she declined and broke off her relationship with Hawkeye. She was then portrayed as a traitor in the media.

After many years of espionage, Natasha finally decided to give the Avengers another try. Certainly seemed like now they needed all the help they could get.

PERSONALITY: Natasha uses her looks and charm to her advantage. She is usually 'strictly business', but has been known to show a softer side around those she cares about.

CHARACTER NAME:Cannonball
REAL NAME:Samuel Guthrie
AGE:30
SEXUAL ORIENTATION:Heterosexual (His O/Os are not mine...)
AFFILIATION:New Mutants; X-Men: X.S.E; Mutant Liberation Front,; X-Corporation; X-Force; Hellions; Hellfire Club

APPEARANCE/COSTUME:

New Mutants          X-Men (2)             X-Force                  X-Men         X-Force (2)

APPEARANCE WITHOUT COSTUME:

Face Claim: Ryan Kwanten

Height:  6'

Weight: 181 lbs

Hair: Blonde

Eyes: Blue-Grey

WEAKNESSES: Blast Energy can be depleted, leaving him temporarily powerless.

HISTORY: History: Sam Guthrie is a mutant whose superhuman powers first emerged when he was trapped with co-workers in a coal mine collapse.

CHARACTER NAME: Rogue
REAL NAME: Anna Marie
AGE: 27
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Hetero https://elliquiy.com/forums/onsoffs.php?u=57522
AFFILIATION: X men, Avengers

APPEARANCE/COSTUME'S:

APPEARANCE WITHOUT COSTUME: Well now...that ain't for just anyone's eyes Sugah. You gotta earn such a treat. ;)

POWERS/ABILITIES:
Power absorption: Can absorb and mimick the genetic structure of others. Therefore taking their powers momentarily. Rogue is a mutant who posesses the ability to absorb the memories, abilities, personality, and outward physical characteristics of other beings through skin-to-skin contact. Such transfers lasted for 60 times longer than the contact time, with extended contact resulting in the possibility of permanent absorption. No upper limit had been determined for the number of beings Rogue could simultaneously imprint. Upon prolonged exposure to rogue, a beings powers can be permanently taken, with grave results to the victim. (Coma, or death.)

Supersonic Flight

Super Strength

A Winning Smile.

WEAKNESSES: Her powers are her strength and her curse. It is useful yes, but as a result of them she can hardly keep contact without killing or harming some one. She can't be touched and as a result feels very isolated from the rest of humanity...or mutany? ;)

Emotional?: Upon absorbing another's memories, Rogue also gained any number of associated emotional responses. Rogue was typically able to control such emotions, however absorbing psyches more powerful than her own resulted in Rogue’s psyche being supplanted. Thus her power can be a danger to whom she really is, if she takes the risk to permanently absorb another's powers and personality. As seen in one version of Rogue, with permanently absorbing Ms Marvel's powers. Or results of absorbing a Skrull's powers. These things not only had consequences on her victim, which in the case of Ms Marvel had haunted Rogue for years to come. But also held incredibly unpredictable mental reactions. As seen in the Deadpool game, where absorbing Deadpools healing factor, also momentarily degraded her sanity down to his level.

HISTORY:
Raised by her Aunt Carrie after tragedy befell her parents, young Anna Marie ran away from home and was taken in by Mystique and Destiny (Irene Adler), whom Rogue came to regard as her surrogate parents. Rogue's mutant power first manifested in her early teens when she kissed Cody Robbins. Her mind filled with his memories, and he fell into a permanent coma. Eventually realizing she could never safely live among normal people, Rogue began participating in her foster mother's criminal endeavors and came to join Mystique's terrorist Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

On her first mission, the inexperienced Rogue clashed with Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers) and permanently absorbed the hero's memories and powers, including super-strength and flight. Distraught over her lack of control, Rogue turned to her enemies, the X-Men. Convinced of her sincerity, Professor Xavier accepted her onto the team; however, it wasn't until Rogue risked her own life to save Wolverine's at the time fiancée, Mariko Yashida, that she began to gain her teammates' trust. A few years later, her now mentor Charles Xavier saved the women, who's life Rogue had stolen. Retrieving, and giving Carol back her memories. The women woke up from her coma. Things were some what frosty between Ms Danvers and Anna, but she did forgive Rogue, even if the sweet girl didnt forgive herself.

Now, not only has Apocalypse returned, but her long time friend and mentor Wolverine has been taken into the maniacs clutches. Warped into one of his, riders of the apocalypse. Rogue comes onto the scene, more then a hero seeking to defend others. But a friend, trying to save some one she cares for. If not save, then stop him from doing the unthinkable to others.

PERSONALITY: Sarcastic, witty, southern belle with a heart bigger than Dolly's endowment.

EQUIPMENT: Gloves to keep her powers from harming others, unless she wishes to harm them...then there is no where to hide.

KNOWN ENEMIES: Mystique, Magneto,

CHARACTER NAME: Quicksilver
REAL NAME: Pietro Maximoff
AGE: 28
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
AFFILIATION: Avengers, Brotherhood

APPEARANCE/COSTUME:

APPEARANCE WITHOUT COSTUME:

POWERS/ABILITIES:
Super speed: He is capable of running at super sonic speeds.

Made for speed: His body and mind can take the challenges of moving so quickly. He doesn't worry as much about friction or a lack of air or running into something and becoming a stain on a wall. But his metabolism is much much faster than normal and his mind works at about twice human speed. Doesn't make him and smarter but makes his reflexes much better and makes him very bored usually.

WEAKNESSES:
While he is harder to injure he is far from indestructible and if you can immobilize him he's basically done for.

HISTORY:
http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Pietro_Maximoff_(Earth-616) Up until that Marriage bit because then his story gets a little crazy

PERSONALITY: Pietro is charismatic and personable. At least he tries to be but when the world seems to moving in slow motion you do get bored some times. HE tries not to let it show though and tries to get along with others. He's quick to emotion of any kind though so if you make him hate you it's fairly sudden and you'll probably realize quickly.

EQUIPMENT: No necessary equipment.

KNOWN ENEMIES: Magneto and anyone who treats him poorly

Here we go - I've always liked the Immortal Weapons, especially Dog Brother, so I made Sihing's successor. Part unknown z-lister, part OC, all ninja assassin.

Character Name: Dog Brother #1
Real Name: Carter
Age: Early 20's
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Affiliation: Immortal Weapons, Avengers

Appearance

Without Costume

History
The warrior known as Dog Brother #1 is the immortal weapon and ruler of the fabled Under-City, a refuge for the orphans and strays of the world. He protects and saves the lost, but in order to be found by him, one must truly be lost.  He is accompanied on his travels by a pack of stray dogs and orphans, with whom he shares an empathic connection.

Dog Brother #1 is not one man, but a succession of lone warriors who pass with each age. Dog Brother #1 knows when he has rescued his lost successor and that it is time. His sword is passed on, and he submits himself to be beheaded. Upon his death, his powerful chi passes on to the next Dog Brother #1.

The current Dog Brother #1 is a black American man known only as Carter. His predecessor Sihing found him as a child in a Detroit drug house and spirited him away to the Undercity to begin training him long before the time when he would become the next Dog Brother, and it was only recently that Sihing passed on the chi and weapons of Dog Brother to him. He came to New York following the call of numerous lost souls that were sent into a state of turmoil with the rise of Apocalypse, and has joined the Avengers in battling the ancient mutant in hopes of avoiding the mass destruction Apocalypse wound surely cause if apocalypse was victorious and preventing the creation of many more orphans and lost souls.

Powers
Dog Brother Chi: Carter is the posessor of the Dog Brother chi, which gives him all of the Martial Arts skills of every dog brother who came before him and a mystical empathic link with canines and orphans that grants him the power to summon packs of canine and orphan spirits to assist him and the ability to assume the appearance of himself as a child while retaining his adult physical attributes.

Carter can also sense the direction to anyone or anything that is truly lost, and is able to channel his chi into his body and weapons to enhance his strength, speed, agility reaction times and healing capabilities to low superhuman levels temporarily and allow his body and weapons to damage even incorporeal, phased or superhuman beings.

The spirits constantly surrounding him also warn him of danger, making him very difficult to surprise or hide from unless he faces an opponent the spirits cannot detect.

Abilities
Dog Brother #1 is a master tactician, martial artist and swordsman, and has nearly unparalleled skill with all manner of melee weaponry thanks to his training with Sihing and having inherited the skills of all his predecessors. He has very little formal education, but is incredibly street smart and trained in stealth and deception techniques taught in the undercity. His signature move is the East Side Handshake.

Weaknesses
Even with his chi enhancements Carter is still very mortal and can be killed by normal means.

Move List
Aroma of the Golden Knuckle
Bite of the Rabid Fang
Blood-Hunger's Blade
Choking Wind
Cobra's Last Bite
Cut of Lex Talionis
Double Lotus Strike
East Side Handshake
The Exquisite Twin Cut of Buddha's Breath
The Judgment of Solomon
Razor Dervish Attack
Standard Issue Punch
The Unforgiving Blade
Volcano of Blood
White Crane Swift Kick

Personality
Carter is a prankster with a well-developed sense of humor like all the Dog Brothers before him, even though his humor is the morbid kind. Although he is very much a hardened killer, Carter prefers to teach those who victimize others a lesson in nonlethal (if humiliating) ways first, but if that fails he won't hesitate to kill an abuser that cannot be corrected nonviolently.

Equipment
Carter wears the dog brother armor and usually carries a pair of long chinese straight swords. He favors bladed weapons, but he can make any object into a weapon thanks to his martial arts skill and his ability to empower objects with chi.

Known Enemies: Hydra, the Hand, every criminal organization ever

Ive started us off.

Avengers are in one post and the X-men in the other.

Soon they will come together in a joint conflict.

I had to take Pyslocke as my second char to help move the action along.

Il start considering second characters from you guys if you so want them.

Lets get posting.

VoluptuousVixen

Crowe

If its possible, I'd be interested in playing Jean Grey. I'm fine with keeping the Phoenix disconnected from her so that she's not overpowered, but I'm open to exploring that if the need arises. After all, the enemy has some pretty powerful foes of their own. But I would start things simple without the cosmic-level powers.

Captain Whitebread

I think a lot of the characters are meant to be at the high end of the power scale or certainly in the hard/near impossible to kill range.
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.

Vorian

Doesn't look like I'll have time for this for now.
Ons/Offs - Updated 10/8/14 to reflect my switch to Liege and attempt a bit more clarity.

Absences - Updated 3/26/15

Jean Grey is a NPC she is too powerful im afraid

Sasquatch421

Been doing some thinking and while I was tempted to make Hollow or the fun Nocturne might be (just imagine T.J. introducing herself to Quicksilver who would just happen to be an alternate reality uncle!) I'm thinking not doing a second mutant styled character and trying out someone new namely Phyla-Vell.

CHARACTER NAME: Ms Marvel/Captain Marvel
REAL NAME: Carol Danvers
AGE: 28
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Bisexual
AFFILIATION: Avengers (Has worked with the X men on occasion.)

APPERENACE/COSTUME:

APPERANCE WITHOUT COSTUME:

POWERS/ABILITIES:
Super sonic flight

Super Strength

Minor Molecular Control: She can use absorbed energy to transform her regular clothing into her costume and vice-versa.

Flash Precognition: Part of her original power set as Ms. Marvel, Carol was subconsciously able to anticipate the moves of her opponents, though this power was not exactly reliable and activated randomly. After Rogue robbed her of her powers, she was subsequently transformed into Binary. After these powers faded, it seems that Carol's Seventh Sense has returned.

Contaminant Immunity: Carol possesses an amalgamated human/alien Kree physiology that granted her a degree of immunity to toxins and poisons.

Photonic Blasts: Carol can fire powerful concussion blasts of photon and stellar light energy from her hands and fingertips.

Energy Absorption: Her body is capable of absorbing various types of energy for the purpose of temporarily enhancing her own physical attributes. She can augment her strength and energy projection up to the force of an exploding nuclear weapon. If empowered by enough energy, she can assume her Binary form again temporarily.

Binary Form: When Carol absorbs enough energy, her Binary powers manifest once more. Her connection to the White hole renewed for a short period of time.  Binary can tap the energy of a white hole, that region of space which is the exit-point of a point singularity's ultimate inward collapse out of this universe and into another. (A black hole is a slightly more massive star than Earth's sun that has aged to the point that its fusion reaction has burned most of its hydrogen fuel and can no longer balance the weight of its outer layers with stellar flame. When the imbalance reaches a critical point, the outer layers collapse inward, producing depending on the original mass of star, a neutron star, black hole, or point singularity. A point singularity is such an extreme distortion of the space/time fabric of our universe that it extends into another universe. Under some circumstances, the extension is able to loop back into our space/time at some distance. This re entrance into our universe is a white hole.) This inter-dimensional breach is the 'weak" point at which Binary is able to divert small portions of cosmic energies into mentally activated disturbances of the space/time continuum around her. She is able to shape these disturbances into various lenses that focus or diffuse these relatively vast energies for a number of star-like effects. Binary is able to radiate heat, light, and the rest of the electromagnetic spectrum as well as gravity. Presumably the total amount of energy she can manifest is related to the cross-section, or "'window" she allows to open between universes. For example, an 8-inch diameter "hole" in the surface of a point singularity would let out a torrent of various energies. Binary is apparently able to apply a mental filter to these energies, allowing only the energies she chooses to pass through. Binary has a steady flux of cold "pseudo flames" coruscating in small spheres around her head and hands that represent the greatest regions of her concentration

Skill's:
Experienced Spy: Carol is an experienced spy, having worked various undercover operations for NASA.

Multilingual: Carol is fluent in English, Russian, and another unknown Earth language, as well as Kree, and Shi'ar languages. She speaks passable Rajaki and has a limited vocabulary in many other languages.

Expert Pilot: Carol is an accomplished pilot, having extensive experience with USAF planes as well as with Kree, Shi'ar and other alien starships.

Expert Combatant: She is extensively trained in armed and unarmed combat through Military Combative's.

Talented Journalist: Carol is a talented journalist excelling as a freelance writer and magazine editor.

WEAKNESSES:  She has a bit of a weakness to magic and she does not have a constant source of power, so if she uses them too much she will be drained for a while, until she can charge up.

HISTORY: Carol Danvers grew up as the oldest child of three in a traditional Boston home, with a contractor father who believed in the merits of hard work. Carol always tried to work as hard as her brothers, tried to show she was just as capable as they were. But her fathers values in hard work wouldnt extend to her, becouse he could never believe a women can do as a man can. Even when their familly's finances can only pay for one child to go to college, her father chose the middle child, her brother, over her. Despite her superior grades. This just would not do. Carol was a dreamer, a women that looked to the stars, literally. Dreaming to become an astronaut. After high school, she joined the military in spite of her father. Using her service to go to college, and joining the airforce as she dreamed. The only time she ever went home, was when her brother Steve died. Even then, she never felt accepted by her father, the women drifting even farther apart. Estranging herself from her family once more, but this time for good.

She quickly rose to the top of her Air Force class and was recruited into military intelligence (Special Operations) and trained as a spy. She accomplished many different missions and worked with other figures such as Logan (later Wolverine) and Benjamin Grimm (later the Thing), while oppressing others such as Victor Creed (later Sabretooth), and Natalia Shostakova (later the Black Widow). NASA eventually requested her for an open position as head of security which she accepted, resigning from the Air Force bumping her to full Colonel at retirement. Becoming the youngest security captain in NASA's history, she became embroiled in the schemes of the interstellar alien Kree Empire. It was during this time that she met and eventually befriended the Kree soldier Mar-Vell whose enemies would soon be responsible for her future transformation.

Caught a midst a battle between the Kree, Yon-Rogg, and the Kree hero, Mar-Vel. (Captain Marvel).  She was knocked into a damaged Kree Psyche-Magnitron, a powerful device which could turn imagination into reality. Due to her constant failures to handle alien escursions, she was demoted from her role in Nasa, to a mere security guard. Seeing her plummeting career, and what Nasa had done to her, she left, making a book exposing the secrets behind what happened. Burning bridges with Nasa like that helped her greatly, the women becoming a temporary celebrity due to her best selling novel. And effectively getting a high paying job, in a Womens magazine, ran by the Daily Bugle.

However, her powers began to manifest, in a uncontrollable alter ego. She wold black out, her mind shifting to the personality of a Kree Warrior. However she eventually became aware of how her black outs would transpire. Naming her alter ego, after the Kree warrior she knew. Ms Marvel, after the Kree, Mar-Vel.

Much happened in her life. Once being drained into a coma by Rogue, eventually awakening from it without her powers. She forgave Rogue, but the incident has still put somewhat of a coldness between them. (Doesnt hate her, things are just awkward.) But by helping the X men, she eventually become the hero Binary for a short time.  Drawing on the power of a cosmic phenomenon called a white hole, Danvers becomes capable of generating the power of a star. As Binary, Carol has a number of encounters with the X-Men. Eventually, she lost her connection to the white hole she drew her powers from, reverting to the use of the original Ms. Marvel powers, but retaining the energy manipulation and absorption powers she had as Binary, albeit on a smaller scale.

PERSONALITY: A confident, smart, strong and driven women. She has nothing to prove to any one, and is happy being self sufficient. She finds it hard to accept help from others, especially men, but will not turn help away.

APPERENACE/COSTUME:

Height: 5'9"

POWERS/ABILITIES:

Superhuman Strength: Phyla is an Eternal/Kree hybrid that is capable of lifting between 25 to 50 tons.

Flight: Quantum can fly at incredible speeds, but using the Quantum Bands allows her to fly in the Quantum Slipstream which goes beyond the speed of light. She can also teleport with others through the Quantum dimension. Though the teleportation and using the Quantum Slipstream uses energy from the Quantum Bands.

Energy Projection and Absorbtion: She also acts like an "energy sponge," absorbing any energy attacks directed at her and returning them as energy blasts. Phyla can also fire off energy blasts of her own without absorbing any.

   Cosmic Awareness:

Abilities: Highly skilled hand to hand combatant and sword fighter.

WEAKNESSES: The Quantum bands can run out of energy if used too much, then will need to be recharged.

HISTORY:

Some years ago, Elysius, the genetically engineered woman beloved by the late Captain Mar-Vell, conceived a son, Genis-Vell, from Mar-Vell’s D.N.A. and artificially accelerated him to young adulthood with implanted memories of growing up on Titan. After Elysius was slain by the Negative Zone denizen Lord Syphonn, Genis took the identity and heroic mission of Captain Marvel as his own, eventually helping the cosmic entities Entropy and Epiphany re-create the universe. In the process, a future action of Genis’s, the resurrection of Elysius, was realigned into contemporary reality so that, as far as recent history was concerned, Elysius had been resurrected shortly after she had died, or possibly had never died at all. In this altered reality, Elysius again underwent artificial pregnancy and bore a daughter, Phyla-Vell, whom she similarly aged to young adulthood with implanted memories. However, because Genis’s cosmic awareness had overwhelmed him during the reality crisis, his memories were only altered on a subconscious level, so on some level he still believed his mother had perished and he was an only child.

Driven mad by his cosmic awareness, Genis rampaged across the universe. Elysius and her longtime friend Starfox pursued him to Titan, where Phyla, feeling Genis had disgraced the name of Captain Marvel, now claimed the title as her own. Upon arriving, Genis, already questioning his perceptions of reality, grew more confused as he fought a sister whom he remembered, yet felt had never existed. When Elysius and Starfox intervened, Genis opened a portal to Nth Space, a dimension which existed primarily in potentiality alone, and forced the three into it, but Phyla pulled him along. As Genis underwent a bizarre illusion scenario, Elysius and Starfox were able to overcome his insanity, and all four Titanians returned to Titan.

Phyla remained convinced she should bear the name Captain Marvel, but an argument with Genis on the subject was interrupted by an attacking alternate future version of Marlo Jones, wife of Genis’s friend Rick. Genis investigated the timeline that had resulted in the attack, trusting Phyla to protect the contemporary Marlo, whom she rescued from an abduction attempt by the Magus, ally of the alternate Marlo and Ely-Vell, Genis’s son of that future era. Phyla then brought Marlo to Titan to better protect her, but her departure from Earth left Marlo’s female companion Moondragon open to attack by the Magus. When Genis returned from the future, Phyla was concerned by his obvious distress, unaware he had resolved to kill his own yet-to-be-conceived son to prevent the catastrophe Ely would cause later in life.

Soon afterward, Moondragon lied to Marlo about the feelings between them and ended their romantic relationship, believing Marlo would be happier with Rick. Phyla was drawn to Moondragon by her selflessness, and a mutual romantic interest arose between the two, who departed together to investigate an unidentified portal, possibly proceeding afterward to view a spiral nebula near Renault VII. Recently, Moondragon was abducted by Thanos, and Phyla pursued him into the crisis known as the Annihilation Wave, already the center of conflict for many powerful space travelers. During the catastrophic battle with Annihilus and his insectoid forces, Phlya gained the powerful Quantum Bands from Wendell Vaughn (Quasar) the appointed protector of the universe. Phyla sought the help of Moondragon’s father Drax the Destroyer, to rescue her from Thanos. Drax was eventually successful in rescuing Moondragon and taking the life of Thanos in the process.

Reunited with her lover, Phyla went right back into cosmic chaos, Phyla and Moondragon found themselves on a dire mission to save the Kree race from immanent destruction, which was being caused by the techno-organic invaders known as the Phalanx. The two women warriors sought to find a powerful wizard that possessed the power to defeat the Phalanx. Before they could get off to a decent start on their quest, the woman adventurers were confronted by the Super-Adaptoid, who had been transformed into a Phalanx Select. Although the Adaptoid was viciously aggressive and cunning he was easily defeated. Phyla eventually found a cocoon that possessed the rejuvenating body of Adam Warlock, the phalanx were also in search of the Warlock and a battle ensued that eventually ended with Warlock being awakened prematurely and in a mentally unstable state. Phyla, Warlock and Moondragon managed to escape to a secret laboratory occupied by the High Evolutionary. There Phalanx attackers tracked them to the laboratory and Moondragon was slain by their leader Ultron. In a rage of passion Phyla lunged into battle, although she was persuaded by the High Evolutionary to retreat. Ultron and the Phalanx were eventually defeated and Phyla joined a new peace keeping teamed formed by Star-Lord. The team would later take on the name of the Guardians of the Galaxy and they utilized Knowhere as their base of operations.

Although the team was led by Star-Lord, it was guided by the mystical insight of Adam Warlock, whose primary purpose seemed to be to prevent the collapse of fissure anomalies. On their first mission Phyla and the team clashed with followers of the mighty Universal Church of Truth, an intolerant and zealous religious empire. Believing the Guardians to be anti-church heretics, the UTC has decreed Phyla and her teammates to be enemies of the faith. The team’s strategy is to keep whatever is on the other side of the fabric of reality out of their reality, which is the 616 universe. To fulfill their goal Rocket Raccoon blew up the Temple Ship while Phyla and Adam absorbed the released energy and used it to drive the unknown predator back through the fissure.

Now she comes to Earth to tell Moondragon's former Avenger team mates her fate, and a voice comes through the Quantum Bands telling Phyla-Vell that she might be needed for other things on Earth as well.

PERSONALITY: She has been shown to have the tendency to come off as cocky and overconfident because of her extensive training.

EQUIPMENT:

Quantum Bands: Phyla had possession of the Quantum Bands that were designed by Eon, and worn by her appointed protector universe Quasar (Wendell Vaughn). They enhanced her speed and energy manipulating abilities as well as boosting her cosmic awareness. With the Bands she can mentally create hard light constructs and energy blasts which she can use with devastating effects. With the bands the wearer had the ability to use the quantum stream for hyper-space travel, make quantum jumps throughout the universe, and teleport others into the Quantum Zone. The bands were also used as communication devices to contact Eon and Epoch.

Quantum Sword: She uses her bands to manifest a sword made from Quantum Energy.

KNOWN ENEMIES: Annihilus, Ultron, Thanos, the Phalanx

She would turn on the other elementals to aid humanity.    Yet the most significant chapter in her history is with the Odin son Thor.

The Collector's words on the Zephyr
QuoteThousands of years ago Zephyr stole the Seduction Ruby from Thor. He chased after her and when he caught her the two fell in love. When they made love the earth almost split in two from the combination of their passion and power, so they parted ways. Years later Zephyr and the Elementals are captured by the Collector. Zephyr uses her ruby she stole from Thor to as a bargaining chip with the Collector into letting her roam free in his museum. When Thor arrives on the Collector's space museum Zephyr is friendly and amicable but it is a rouse as she aids Collector in entrapping him.

Reminiscing later about her past with the Thunder god, her love for Thor surpasses her loyalty to the Collector and she tinges of regret. Thor eventually escapes and Zephyr decides to instead help and aid him in his mission to stop Ego and Alter Ego, two living planets from destorying earth and each other. The Collector realizes he has been seduced and betrayed and punishes  and tricks Zephyr into a black hole. She emerges 600 years in the past and on the other side of the universe. She gets back to the warring planets just in time to save Thor and to reconstruct Alter Ego. She is last seen leaving with Ego and Alter Ego to tour the universe looking for their destiny.

Since then Zephyr has made it back to the current time continuum.  She has been a ally of Ms Marvel aiding the said super heroine in her adventures  from time to time.   While she still holds a deep love for Thor Odinson.

For the past decade  Zephyr has been living in New York city,  taking the mortal name of Chantal Le'Vent.  The name her surname is a play on her element.   Le'Vent meaning in French language 'the wind'.  Working at the current prominent in fashion night club that is current at the time in the Big Apple.   Posing as a mere mortal.

Powers:  Agility, Attractive Female, Healing, Illusion Casting, Immortal, Invulnerability, Longevity, Mesmerize, Psychic, Stamina, Super Strength, Wind Bursts.

More Collector's thoughts
QuoteAs an Elemental Zephyr possesses powerful wind and air elemental powers. She also has a degree of psychic powers and abilities allowing her to manipulate energy generally to an unknown extent.  She is also immortal having lived many centuries with no visible signs of aging. Resistant to diseases and conventional forms of injury. Physically powerful and robust when compared to an ordinary human. Her powers can be amplified by the Ruby Scarab. Zephyr can also open dimensional portals.

Abilities and Training: Despite the countless centuries of being as a immortal.   Zephyr has not really advanced herself beyond the skills of a serving wench.   Her power intoxicating often a crutch to fall back upon.   (Original native language; Old Nubian;  known additional languages,  Coptic  (old Egyptian),  Greek,  Phoenician (Ancient Persian),  Vulgar Latin,  French,  English.)  In addition to those seven languages of which over half are dead languages, Zephyr knows five more of extraterrestrial languages.   Of all the languages including her native,  she only has the ability to read and write in two.  One basic rudimentary French and English at the level of a forth grader.   As she found serving in the modern era required her to have some proficiency with the ability to read and write.

Weakness:  The lack of skills other then a dozen or so languages picked up are quite apparent.

Equipment: Scarab Ruby

Could also be the GM has a specific use in mind for Jean and didn't want her picked up. Meanwhile Blue Marvel,  I mean...Come on lol

VoluptuousVixen

Blue Marvel does have weaknesses, he isn't up to the God level of Sentry and Jean Grey.

Besides my reservations with those two characters come from problems with other past group experiences.

I don't like when players introduce characters to the mix and suddenly all the action has to revolve around them as players.
Meaning if jean grey throws a hissy fit everyone had to pay attention because its the frigging Phoenix.

Also it depends on who requests the character and I know Jugg is a skilled and fair minded player. Meaning I trust him with Blue Marvel but other players given my history with them I might say no.

That sounds harsh but i`m been honest.

Im really happy with the group so far and will be happy to see the game grow.

If we are missing anything its the Marvel Knight characters like say Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, Misty Knight, Elektra, Punisher (marvels Netflix cast) those characters are a big part of the marvel mythos and it would be cool to see some of them.

Crowe

Not to beat a dead horse, but I'm very familiar with Jean Grey, more than any other comics character. That's why I asked for her specifically, and I wouldn't have her whole plot revolve around "I CAN"T CONTROL IT!" :P I did mention that I could play her without her cosmic powers ((although someone should be able to stand up to the likes of Scarlet Witch)). And I mean, since we're being honest, I feel like I wasn't even given a chance to prove that.

But I'm not saying that to be let in. Just expressing my position. I sincerely hope you guys have fun. I'll go find something else. No problem ;)

Juggtacular

Marvel and Thor are in the same league, Marvel's creator even directly compared him to Thor and Hulk. Quasar is pretty powerful as well when the Q-Bands are used properly. Same goes for Ms. Marvel who herself has some pretty awesome showings and can always go Binary. I'm not trying to make an op uber fighter or something or break the game.  I enjoy BM as a character and even guys like him and Thor take beatings, so it'll happen.

Also with Bruce gone, another genius coordinating with Tony wouldn't hurt.

Didn't mean to start a mini-debate about Blue Marvel vs Jean Grey. Sorry.

That to one side, far as the Marvel Knights types go, I'm a huge Moon Knight fan. I'd take him as a second if that's allowed/desirable.

My second is crazy powerful but is showing up way later in the game. Darwin after he marries death. So he has her powers as well as his own.

PhantomPistoleer

CHARACTER NAME: The Immortal Iron Fist
REAL NAME: Danny Rand
AGE: 27
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
AFFILIATION: Avengers,

COSTUME:

APPERANCE WITHOUT COSTUME:

POWERS/ABILITIES:
Chi Manipulation:  Through concentration, Iron Fist can harness his spiritual energy, or chi, to augment his physical and mental capabilities to peak human levels. By focusing his chi into his hand, he can tap the superhuman energy of Shou-Lao and temporarily render his fist superhumanly powerful, immune to pain and injury; however, this process is mentally draining, and he usually needs recovery time before he can repeat it. Iron Fist can heal himself of any injury or illness and project this power to heal others. He can sense mystic energy, particularly that which is related to K'un-Lun. He is capable of fusing his consciousness with that of another person, enabling each to perceive the other's emotions and memories. He has unusually keen eyesight, but it is unclear if it extends to superhuman level. His entire body is oriented to combat, enabling him to adapt to any environment with minimal exposure. At times, he has absorbed energy directed at himself and channeled it to augment his own power. Under certain circumstances, he can even focus his chi to create nexus points between dimensions.

Martial Artist:  Iron Fist is an exceptional athlete, acrobat, and hand-to-hand combatant. He is a master of all of K'un-Lun's martial arts and many of Earth's, trained in the use of virtually all martial arts weapons. He has near-complete control over his nervous system, enabling him to deaden himself to pain.

WEAKNESSES:  Though he wields great power, Rand is still only a human, and is incapable of withstanding the same blows that his more powerful allies can withstand.

HISTORY:  Daniel Rand is the son of Wendell Rand who had, as a youth, visited the mystic city of K'un-Lun, which materialized in the Himalayas once a decade. Founded roughly a million years ago by extraterrestrials, K'un-Lun was co-ruled by the aliens' descendants and powerful beings called the Dragon Kings who were themselves subject to the godlike sorcerer Master Khan.

Wendell had saved the life of K'un-Lun's ruler Lord Tuan, who adopted as his heir, to the resentment of Tuan's son, Yu-Ti. During his time in K'un-Lun, Wendell married a woman named Shakari and fathered a daughter, Miranda Rand-K'ai. At some point, Rand won ritual combat against Davos, son of K'un-Lun's greatest warrior, Lei Kung the Thunderer, which entitled him to claim the power of Shou-Lao the Undying, a man transformed into a mystic serpent over a thousand years ago by the Dragon King Chiantang; however, although great K'un-Lun warriors had periodically wielded Shou-Lao's power as the Iron Fist, Rand declined the power. Ten years after coming to K'un-Lun, was showing Shakari the restored nexus when Yu-Ti's men attacked them. Shakari was slain, and the grief-stricken Wendall returned to Earth. Within a year, he became a successful businessman and married Heather Duncan. In his absence, Lord Tuan died and became ruler of Feng-Tu, abode of K'un-Lun's departed spirits; leaving Yu-Ti to rule K'un-Lun, while Lei Kung, shamed by Davos' defeat, banished his son to Earth.

When Daniel Rand was nine, at roughly the time K'un-Lun was scheduled to materialize, his father decided to bring him and Heather to K'un-Lun. Accompanied by Rand's business partner Harold Meachum, they traveled to the Himalayas, but Wendell fell from a mountain ledge; clutching the edge, he called to Meachum for help, but Meachum, hoping to control Rand's business shares, caused Wendell to plunge to his death. Shortly afterward, Heather sacrificed her life to protect Daniel from a wolf pack, and her spirit ascended to Feng-Tu. The denizens of K'un-Lun found Daniel and took him in, while a frostbite-crippled Meachum learned of Daniel's survival and spent the next decade preparing elaborate defenses against future attack.

Vowing to avenge his parents, Daniel Rand studied martial arts under Lei Kung the Thunderer, while growing up in K'un-Lun. His closest friends were Miranda Rand-K'ai, whom he did not know was his half-sister, and a K'un-Lun boy named Conal D'hu-Tsien. At nineteen, requested and earned an opportunity to win the power of the Iron Fist by confronting Shou-Lao the Undying, whose power resided within a flaming brazier, slew Shou-Lao, a feat no other warrior had ever accomplished, by pressing his chest to the dragon's, cutting it off from the life energy it absorbed from it's heart, which resided in a nearby brazier. This resulted in a dragon-shaped brand on his chest. He then plunged his hands into the brazier containing the dragon's heart, and gained the power of the Iron Fist.

PERSONALITY: The 66th Iron Fist is an odd blend between a monk and a skater.

EQUIPMENT:  The Immortal Iron Fist prefers to fight unarmed.

KNOWN ENEMIES:  Ch'i-Lin, Chaka, Chiangtang the Black Dragon
Always seeking 5E games.
