The Last Vampire (Vampire Seeking his last Love)

Karl Mannox stood on the roof of his ancient home. The Castle was considered empty by the locals and guarded by vicious dogs that roamed the grounds at night. Karl however had lived there for centuries and in that time he had lived as rightful Lord and also as a hermit as he did now. 

Karl was the last vampire. In his chamber below were eleven empty coffins that had once housed strong powerful and vicious vampires. Each of which had their own vampires and loyal subjects. Those days were gone. The twelve no longer existed and only one was left. Karl had helped hunt down the others and ended the terrifying reign of the Twelve.  He had remained on his own leaving only to support charities that he had himself setup or to manage financial matters.

He had intended on killing himself at first. On destroying the vampire line ridding the world of a terrible curse. But his will had not been strong enough. He did not kill and he only drank to survive and instead he lived on blood banks and blood that he paid to have delivered to him in secret. He would live his life like that forever and he would be the only man to remember the might and the power of the true Vampires.

Until she turned up. Moments before he had intended on waiting for the sunset and letting the earth's sun destroy him. But that had all changed.

He had never felt this way before. He knew who she was as soon as she arrived. He felt a combination of love and lust immediately and before he realised what he was doing his magic had transformed his castle from derelict ruin to a richly furnished palace. 

Who is this lady? Why has she arrived at the Castle?

Karl is the last Vampire and me is moments away from ridding the world from a Curse that should be destroyed. But a girl arrives. A girl he is enchanted with and she could either be his saving or his downfall.

Can he control his dark lust and fall in love? Maybe she can cure his curse or maybe she will join him and love him for eternity?

Or does she become his downfall? Is he unable to resist and captures her to rape and torture and use as his own bloodbank? Or does he begin the building of a new vampire reign with her as at his right hand side?
