I'm not sure if this game is still recruiting, but if so, I'd love to check it out.

Yeah, the game is still in the recruitment phase.

Are Force Adepts allowed? Or are those filed under Jedi?

Can you give me an idea what 'era' we're playing in? To consider what species would be reasonable?
Like what you see? I am currently looking for new plots!

All of my image links were previously photobucket and broken -- I'm fixing them as I use the avatars again, or for current games. Please let me know if there is something that needs updating!

Force Adept:  Yes, you may be Force Adept.

Era:  I want to say that the game occurs shortly before the Blockade on Naboo.

Species:  Any, really, except ones that are naturally rare.

Oh, I thought this was Clone Wars era! No worries, I'll make some adjustments to my background.

Phantom mentioned liking my character sheet structure, so here it is.  This can also serve as a primer on formatting for Logarius.  The sheet has been De-Meg'ed as much as easily practicable - I think the only notable exception is the skills block format.

And an annotated summary of each block follows

Code (Header) Select
Wounds: 14  Vitality: 8  Fort: +3 Refl: +3 Will: +3
Initiative: +2   AC 15 Flat 10 DR 2
A limited block intended to be a quick-reference, postable as part of the header of each IC post.  Best if it includes a Floatright or Floatleft image, example from meg's sheet below, so that each post has the name and image of the character attached to it - for many people I find this improves readibility:

Code (Meg's Header) Select
[float=right][/float]Meghau "Meg" Benten, a Human Female
Scoundrel/Soldier 1

Code (Attributes block) Select
[tt]STR14 +2  DEX14 +2  CON14 +2
INT14 +2  WIS14 +2  CHA14 +2[/tt]
This is just a stacked attribute block.  Note that I used the tt tag to make text monospace - this is important in later blocks - less so here.

Code (Attacks, saves etc. calcs) Select
[tt]           Total    Base   Attr   Misc

Here we have the breakdown for some of the vital stats above.  The tt tag making everything monospace improves readability.  I should probably add Reputation and Initiative here - I don't have Init broken down anywhere, and Rep is, uh ... totally unrepresented on this sheet.

Again you see the tt tag to do monospace things.  Compare the dropdown on Meg's skill sheet with the skills block quoted by Phant - in both cases you can parse the final skill modifier, but Meg's is sorted into column form, making the modifiers easier to track.  This is good for when other people need to read your stuff.

I also separated "secondary skills," which basically means "skills I don't care about enough to put up top."  This keeps them separated from everything else - someone elses skill list will look different and you may want to do away with the secondary block altogether.

Here's what that code block copied from above actually looks like:

Skills
                        Total          Ranks  Attr   Misc
Balance                   X              X      X
Bluff - - - - - - - - - - X              X      X

You might have noticed that the Numbers (X's really) line up with the categories above, but don't in the code-format block.  You probably also know that's normal and expected, because when actually writing the post the Spoiler=Skills][tt tags throw off the alignment of the text.  For this reason, I like to do my sheet editing in a monospace font in a simple plaintext editor like Notepad - but you do you.

Code (Feats block) Select

Meg deals 1d4+Str points of damage on an unarmed attack and threatens a crit on a natural 20.  She also does not provoke attacks of opportunity when making unarmed attacks against an armed opponent, but another unarmed opponent does provoke attacks of opportunity when making an unarmed attack against her.

Feat Description and effects

The idea here was to not only have a list of feats, but to have copies of the feat and ability descriptions for quick reference.  This is basically an idea I took from virtual tabletop - you have the tools here to have all of the information at your fingertips, so why not? I just hate having to stop and look shit up.

Code (Attacks block) Select
[tt]Weapon          Att     Damage    Crit   Stun  Range
Unarmed          +X    XdX+X Bl     20     -

Blaster          +X     3d6 En     20     XX   10m[/tt]
Same idea here - I hate having to do math on the fly and I'd rather have it pre-calced and ready to go.

Code (Gear block) Select
[tt]Deathhammer 434 Pistol                                          650cr

Similar idea as before.  I wanted to have a list of equipment and any notes about it for descriptive purposes, any notes relevant to her personality.  Again, I use the tt tag to keep the gear statblock organized, but revert out of the monospace form for the gear description.  I left some description in here just to have a decent example, but you do you.

Code (Outlook block) Select
Description
This is pretty self-descriptive - but I wanted to use it to focus more on the her perspective, mentality and behaviour than a physical description.  I like to use floatleft, floatright and center tags, as well as the nested spoiler like I did in Meg's outlook.  I also vary the size of the images, based on what I'm looking and to break up the regularity of the image.

Code (Meg's example outlook) Select

I really like the FFG system - and I even think I know how I would build Meg in that system - but is there a good way to do the dice in E's dicebot?

Edit: not saying "let's swap systems" mind - I put a lot of work into the character I did!  Just curious, because FFG Star Wars was, I think, one of the first big systems where FFG pushed their alternate-dice systems.

Also, I like FFG SW, but ... the dice system makes for some really fucking jank build rules if you want to be aware of the odds like ... at all.  Like "Basic dice are better than the awesome dice" weird.

for dicebot, just roll d6, d8, d12's.. and use the number codes? OR discord (there is robot for discord for dicebot for SW), but as Pistoleer do not know hte system.. its no use

Annaamarth

So ... have the dice-code chart out.  Gotcha.

Something for me to remember in case of a future game anyway!

our troupe uses it on ZombieApoc, My StarWars, basic fantasy.. and cyperpunk. Its so worth checking into system.

You just need to ask :)

Is there an accessible SRD, or would everyone have to purchase books/pdfs?

There is... Site ... That has most of the books.. but tjere is nothing like SRD for it. And if player knows the system, no books are needed..  as there is no levels or anything slow nd cumbersome stuff on the system.

And charactersheets (and class trees) has all the rules on them ;) (and tjey are open source stuff anyway) GM needs to know the syatem thou.
