Starship Troopers: Even the Bugs Leave you Alone Eventually (need females)

Let's see if I can write this one up the way I'm thinking it.  I'm basing this partially on the second movie as well as the first so read it all the way through before commenting (or not).  Thank you.



Premise:
Okay, so it's hardly a surprise that the plan went to hell and back.  There's bad news.  And there's worse news.  Oh, and some good news too.

The bad news: Your company commanding officer went down way too early in the retreat that nearly got everyone killed.

The worse news: You didn't get the withdraw order in time to get off planet.  And the fleet has long since beat feet.

The good news: You managed to fall back to one of the electrically fenced outposts.  So as long as the power holds out, you're safe.

More bad news: You've got a month, maybe more provisions before everyone starts starving to death.

More good news: After a day or so, the bugs stopped trying to get in.  Now they just stand around and watch.  And wait.



What I'm looking for:
I'm looking for a group of volunteer mobile infantry troopers, a mix of both genders from three different squads.  The clock is running, so to speak, and besides those daily shifts of standing watch; you've got nothing to do but hang out and hope for rescue.

Or at least, nothing official to do.

(As a note, I'll be playing the Lieutenant of the first squad)

Background: He is the type of person that you can depend on. He is always around to protect your back and he will give his life for it. He likes to have fun and be silly around people to lighten the mood. He hates bugs since they killed his wife a couple of years ago. He don't like to get anxious about things so he often practice meditation wich helped him a lot. He is a excellent shooter and excellent combat specialist.

Background: Javier comes from an eight generation military family, each member without exception serving in either the army or the marine corps.   Javier started as a grunt and field promotions quickly kicked him up to officer level.   Javier tends to come across as cool and collected, particularly during combat, though he's also known for having a temper (the main reason he's never gone any higher).  Javier shows complete confidence in his squad and trusts them just as much.

Name: "Chilly" Charles Norman

Rank/Squad: Lance Corporal, Second Squad

Background: "Chilly" picked up his moniker for the cool gaze that doesn't even shift when he's mowing down bugs with his custom Morita. He was picked out early in training for his dead-eye marksmanship, and was trained as a sniper. Since then, he's served with any number of squads with distinction. While not particularly social, he's almost as well-known for being a friendly guy as he is for his icy kills.

Notes: Straight as an arrow. His main weapon is a well-made Morita assault rifle with a scope.

Name:  Geraldine "Jerri" Rivera

Rank/Squad: Lieutenant Third Class, Third Squad

Background: Enlisted in the Navy as a fighter pilot (enlisted due to the bug invasion in South America), but was shot down early by plasma fire. Her co-pilot perished in the crash and she was rescued. Since then she adopted a cynical attitude, doubting the resolve of her commanding officers. Nevertheless, she gained a tenacity that gave her a position as a MI sniper.

Background: A tough street girl drafted into th mobile infantry as a straight choice between that and jail when a gang she ran with got a little too big for its boots.  She is, though she wouldn't admit it, enjoying herself greatly in the infantry and is trying to impress so that when her time is completed she'll be allowed to stay in.  That said, though, she has a problem with following orders she cant see a need for.

Background: Qualified for special operations training out of high-school, but took a squad command in mobile infantry instead. Battle-hardened and a tried and true bug-killer, she's a little bit easier going in the field then most, prefering a more hands-off approach to command.

Distinguishing Marks: A long thing scar running down his right cheek, reputed for having been the only mark received from a bug when engaging one in melee combat and two tattoos: the words DEATH FROM ABOVE running down his left forearm and the words Fortes Fortuna Adiuvat running down his right forearm.

Speciality and Training: Derek is a close combat/CQB expert, often found up front in formations his shotgun. Not only deadly in his employment of close quarters weapons like the shotgun,he is an expert of 4 or 5 different martial arts that he learned before his time in the mobile infantry that he has blended seamlessly into his own unique style.

Brief History:  Derek Stackhouse was abandoned on the doorsteps of a orphanage when he was just a child,for whatever reason his parents did not want him. Brought into the orphanage, Derek was raised until the age of 6 in the orphanage where he grew to hate the people who ran it. At the young age of 6, Derek ran away from the Orphanage and tried to live on the streets, he made it off charity for maybe a week before one day when he tried to steal some food,Derek was caught but not by the police, a blind man that seemed to have amazing senses. Taken by this man deep into the middle of no where, Derek grew up in the monastery of five buddist monks, who he came to find out where all martial arts masters who had decided to forsake a world that had gone away from the martial ways. Derek was raised as their pupil til the age of 16 when Derek felt he was tired of the stingy old guys and wanted more out of life. Heading back into the city, Derek entered school like a normal kid. At the age of 18 he enlisted into the mobile infantry to try and impress some girls but frankly he had nothing better to do. Excelling through bootcamp and infantry training, Derek earned a reputation as the bad boy because he constantly fought authority and did what he wanted yet when it came down to combat, his skills were invaluable and he was an excellent trooper, so they decided to take the good with the bad. Having served almost 7 years,Derek has seen combat with the alien bugs on a ton of fronts and despite the fact that he should be a Sergeant or higher, Derek's bad boy attitude and lack of respect for authority has put him on the bad side of many of his higher ups yet behind closed doors they will admit he is one of the best damn troopers they have. Along with his bad boy reputation, there is a story about Derek having fought a group of bugs armed only with a two handed great sword that Derek had been seen carrying around with him, it was said he was found surrounded a group of dead bugs, covered in blood and breathing hard. Derek doesn't talk about it though so a lot of it has become speculation and myth.
