I am trying to do some research for an RP - in the name of realism - but I can't find this answer because all I'm getting are things about smoking >__>

If someone gets trapped in a fire and breathes in smoke (they'll have spent perhaps... 15-20 minutes in the fire, on the floor) are there any lasting effects on their lungs from having breathed in any smoke? And/or what other effects would they face?

I googled "long term effects of smoke inhalation from a fire" and got this article.

http://www.fireengineering.com/index/articles/display/367511/articles/fire-engineering/volume-162/issue-8/features/toxicology-of-smoke-inhalation.html

You may be able to pick up more info with that phrase, too.

Haha, maybe Amber needs to try more keywords... I always assumed short and sweet would work better.

Thank you guys ;D

You're welcome!

Search phrase used was 'Smoke inhalation side effects' just in case you need it.
