Background and Personality Notes: She was raised with the knowledge the knowledge of her father being a slave owner and she spent most of her life knowing a person that her father used for sexual purposes. Her mother died giving birth to her so watching her father with other woman was as normal as watching a baby to her. Her father however did not wanted her to live as a slave so he pay for the permissions to free her own daughter so she could live a full happy live. However when Lizzy started going to strange places and getting tattoo’s everywhere he decided to stop the payment without letting her know. The agency its watching her and soon are about to make their move to enslave her. She is a very serious girl however she can laugh when she wants to, she loves to have fun and respects both slaves and masters the same even calling the men ‘Sir’ without her being a slave yet.

Hi Acid, and thanks for the character, unfortunately... I'm really sorry...she doesn't really fit into the setting. The game is set in Monaco and... I don't think there's any tattoo parlours in Monaco! Also I did say a while back that I don't want any more American characters. While there's some Americans who live in Monaco and many more who visit we have a fair number of them as player characters now and I would prefer to keep a more realistic balance of nationalities, so I would prefer French or Italian characters mostly, if you are okay to play one of those.

The sorts of people who are able to pay the Freedom Tax would be reasonably well off, if not actually quite wealthy. If any average family could pay the tax it would be self-defeating, so Lizzy being a Free Woman isn't very likely.

I also don't want "pre-slavery slave" characters. I'd like them to already be enslaved and trained and start off being for sale in a salesroom so that an owner can buy them, or already be owned by an owner. I mentioned a couple of times in the thread that the enslaving-breaking-training stage of a slave would take weeks or months in reality and there isn't scope for that in the RP as your character would actually experience nothing else.

Background and Personality Notes: Elisa's father owns a well off, small enterprise of producing beautiful daughters and sending them through an assembly line of perfection to create the perfect pleasure slaves. Starting a the age of 16, her and each of her sisters had been enrolled in the "practical" education classes. At this point, Elisa had become quite skilled at her line of "work". She has no delusions of "freedom". She has been taught since birth that this is her place, and has accepted it. When it came time for the "transformation rite" of her family, she looked forward to the body modifications that left her with larger breasts, a fuller rear, and thicker and slightly longer nipples. She viewed the modifications as a pursuit of excellence for her purpose. A purpose that her father makes only a half-hearted attempt at making secret. His daughters are considered trophies, and owning one is a status symbol among certain circles. Selling his daughters to the sons of potential business partners has helped him expand his empire. She has just recently turned 18 and is about to be sold to her first master.

A family production line is certainly a clever take on the subject; although the slave law has only been in place 10 years or so, it would have been in the public eye and the media for years before that, being debated about how and when to introduce it - the subject of international summits - so a clever and cold-hearted man could well have taken a wife and got her repeatedly pregnant with a string of daughters so that when the law came about, he'd get rich.

Background and Personality Notes:
Okello was born in South Africa and grew up in France and England.  His father was an excellent combat medic and field surgeon in the French Foreign Legion.  Between the physical demands and psychological stresses of training and combat in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Central Africa, Okello's father suffered severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) which manifested every time he visited his wife and son between tours in the form of flashbacks, nightmares, sleeplessness, chronic anger and the enslavement of his mother.

In terms of making up for his behavior, the best Okello's father did was patch up her wounds.  His mother always took the punishment, sufficiently brainwashed to say that she deserved it for making him mad, and then followed it up by regularly telling Okello stories about how great and heroic his father was, and how lucky she was to have someone like him in her life.

Prior to one of his father's visits, Okello's mother ran off.  From then on, Okello was on his own, and focused completely on his studies.  He never heard from his father or mother again, but the man who most affected Okello's upbringing despite being regularly absent had forever influenced the way Okello would interact with the women with whom he had relationships.

After his studies, he conducted research in various fields, including induced lactation, vaginal secretion enhancement, and the removal of the characteristic odor of fecal matter.  He made sure to protect these key components of what would eventually become staple drugs of the new world, namely Milkmaid, Venus and Balance.  The control of these secrets which he claimed to have discovered accidentally ensured that he was compensated handsomely.  He made enough money to retire, and used some to invest in the very drug companies that initially paid him.  The market exploded and Okello made a killing.

Thinking of himself as one of the architects of the current slave society, Okello went on to work for the health advisory boards of France and Monaco, providing professional assistance to the matter of the production of sex recreational drugs for the new society.  He regularly attended conferences and seminars, gained an even more encyclopedic knowledge from reading research papers to come up with more ideas and make more money. 

At this point, Okello wants nothing more than to use his ill-gotten earnings to live in the lap of luxury, drive fast cars, and make some females miserable in the mean time.  He is following his streak of luck into the casino, where he would enjoy gambling with something other than chips.

Hi again MCsc. I'd prefer you to make up only one character at first and then when you join the game I can see what your activity level is like. A Japanese slave is a little rare in southern France but not unheard of so go ahead and set up a character and I'll  take a look at her.

In case any of the players have taken this thread from their bookmarks I will let them all know in the OOC of your interest and then anyone keen to interact with such a character can drop by in here and discuss things, that may help you get a character that fits into the game even better.

Backround: Nonami was raised as the only child of parents who didn't approve of the compulsive enslavement of females. When compulsory female enslavement laws were passed by Japanese legislature Nonami's mother opted to become her husbands property, owing to the fact that the Kitigani's were among the lower class financially as well as in the hopes of saving their money to provide their daughter and only child a chance to avoid enslavement at the hands of the new autocracy. Nonami's mother's sacrifice payed off for Nonami granting her enough money to pay the freewoman licensing fee as well as begin college. However only a few years into Nonami's schooling her parents fell upon hard times, lucky for her parents Nonami was able to find the money to bail them out. Nonami didn't tell her parents, but she hoped the BFA wouldn't notice she would be a bit late on her freewoman tax payment. Nonami was to find herself luckless however, no more than a day had passed from her due date than officers of the BFA were at her door to take possession of the naturally busty woman as a slave.
Personality: Nonami was raised by her parents who strongly disapproved of the moderns worlds compulsory female slavery laws. Despite their disapproval however, Nonami's mother was registered as her husbands property in the hopes that the money the couple saved on Nonami's mother's freewoman taxation could be used to ensure Nonami remained a freewoman instead. Nonami was nearly in her teens when Japan boarded the compulsory female slavery boat, she remembers clearly the changes to society in the weeks and months following the passage of legislature. At home life may as well have been same since Nonami's parents had always been a loving couple, the only real difference after the laws passage was that Nonami's mother wore a slave's collar now. Though things were the same at home it couldn't be hidden from Nonami the way her mother was regarded differently by others, especially men, in public. Like everyone else Nonami was forced to adapt to the new society and get along with the changes, Nonami's parents still taught her all that had happened was wrong however and Nonami was imbued with a strong distaste towards the compulsory enslavement of womankind. Since being enslaved herself however Nonami has learned to sublimate her feelings against slavery and conform to the standards of subservience the BFA expects of her. Nonami serves, obeys and smiles for men as their servant, but inside she harbors a deep resentment towards slavery.

Its quite possible for her father to make her a slave as well (as he did with her mother), but not treat her like one and to either keep her at home or get her some work (slaves do most of the non-specialist jobs in the world), so if her family were so much against the idea of slavery there isn't, in fact, any need to sell her and parents who were that anti-slavery I am sure would rather go destitute and struggle to the very borderline of starvation than sell their own daughter. I am sure that other families in their neighbourhood or the wider extended family could also help financially so I think we need a different reason here for Nonami to have been sold or entered slavery.

Maybe they just didn't understand the nuances of the law? If they're a lower social class/financial bracket, they could have just misunderstood how the slavery laws work, and mistakenly thought this was the best option. Lack of awareness + pride to not go asking for help + stubborn dislike of slavery = problems. It'd be the minimal-modification fix to her backstory, at least - I'd be surprised to find laws were any less obtuse in the future than the present. ;D

I actually proposed just that in the OOC thread a while ago. The role-reversal concept is one I rather like the idea of. In public you have a woman who is meek and polite, and a man who acts like her owner, but she has a very subtle smirk on her face and and before he decides anything he looks at her and gets a subtle nod or head shake. And in private, she is the one totally in the driving seat.

I think that would work rather well...
