Gnosticism-Fleeing the Demi-Urge

What do you do when the being who wants to destroy you is none other than God himself?

This RP idea is one based on the basic tenets of the religion of Gnosticism, but taken in some strange directions. If you are an actual Gnostic, sorry, but you may find that this RP is as accurate to your beliefs as the anime Evangelion was to Christianity.

The basic premise is that the God of the physical world, Yaldabaoth, is a wicked being who believed for a long time that he was the only god in all existence. He created the physical realm so that he might enjoy the suffering of the mortal beings he placed there, and created the Archons (angelic beings) so that they might enforce his tyrannical rule. But, eventually, his mother came to him, Sophia, the Goddess of Wisdom, and she tried to get him to see the error of his ways. He was furious at her for suggesting that he change, and for abandoning him in the first place, so he killed her, and trapped pieces of her soul within humanity.

In this RP, you will play as someone who has a piece of Sophia's soul within them, and Yaldabaoth, the Demi-Urge, is sending his Archons to capture and torment you even worse than all the others. I will play as either an Archon who has turned away from the Demi-Urge, or a Sorcerer/Sorceress who is standing against his tyranny and trying to keep you safe from his wickedness long enough to awaken Sophia within you and defeat this evil God once and for all.

There will be no erotica in this RP, but there can be vaguer descriptions of sex scenes. The adult nature of this RP will largely come from the violence, the horror, and the strange religious themes.
