I seem to remember reading that Klingon is fairly high on the list of popular spoken conlangs.  Quenya is also on that list (I've actually seen a college level course for learning Quenya). 

I've also heard an anecdote that when Marc Okrand was working on the formal construction of the language, he decided to make it a language without the hard /k/ sound.  Someone finally came to him and said 'But Marc... they're Klingons!'
