Sig issues, help please?

Alright, so... I may be retarded. I'm really not the best with this sort of thing, so I'm going to hopefully differ to the experts here. I'm having an absolutely terrible time trying to get my cig to work properly.

As you can probably see in my signature, the left button is smooshed up against the table of contents. In the code I created a false image to force space between it so it would have more room like the Rainbow writer button to the right. I had the hardest time getting the Black Sun Rising button to even work at all. I had to erase the [/url][/img] at the end to get it to show up. I'm a bit lost on what's going on.

Anyone have any advice?

I'm actually surprised that your Black Sun Rising image is showing up at all.  Signature images are supposed to be restricted to things that have been uploaded to the wiki.

Not to be that guy that says tables should be used for everything, but Sophia's code will have your signature stretch across the width of the screen no matter what.  This can lead to a lot of "white" space (or whatever your background color is for your theme) betwen the images, the next and the next image.  I also scaled the images so they're both the same height.  I thought your text looks good situated a bit down between the images, so I moved it there too.  If you want more space/width to the entire signature, you can just add leading and ending spaces before "Seduce" and after "follow." since that's already your longest string of text.  If you want any other help, feel free to ask!

You totally are the dude that says tables should be used for everything but I for one think that's awesome and you should own it! Being that dude means the potential of helping a lot of people to make things look prettier and more orderly. I personally prefer the way yours looks, as well. If I knew this could be made into a table the way you coded it, I would have used the same code for my sig.

I haven't read the full thread yet but I just wanted to add my 2c that it's best to resize signature images rather than re-scaling them. After you click on them to go to a link, it will bounce the image up to a larger size. If it's resized, it will stay the same.

I am in full agreement there, although in this case they're already so close to the 100px that I put them at I didn't want to bother mentioning that.

I would have sworn there was an argument in BBcode that could prevent it from expanding like in wiki-markup, but alas I can't find it.

I agree, it is pretty close to the same size. I'm not sure about the BB code thing. It even translates my regular html into BB code when I save it, so I don't know of any way to not do that.
