Mine does that sometimes while the page is loading. Did you try shift+refresh?

Not that this is any dire emergency or anything like that, just *eye twitches* a change.  ;)

Edit: Nope, cookie clearing didna change it.

I had that happen to me with the cheesy grin icon once....and it eventually cleared itself out.  Not sure if it was something that I did or something that just corrected itself, so I'm not much help.  *laugh*

I have 3 pages of posts in the introductions board. Page 1 is full and then page 2 and 3 have 5 of the same posts and page 3 has an additional post not on 2.

Not sure if this has been brought up...or...perhaps I'm not really seeing this and my day that started at 6 AM and ended at 8:30 PM in meetings and presenting has gotten to me.

It happens, alx.  I see it about once a week or so.  Once the system updates it usually goes away.
