Question Mark

Enough said, amirite?

Alright, here's how I see this.  World of Warcraft is awesome.  RPs are awesome.  Sex is alright awesome.  So why not do a mature RP based in the Warcraft universe?

The Lowdown
  • This would be a game taking place in the Warcraft universe.
  • Horde, Alliance, and third party factions (i.e. Argent Dawn, Defias Brotherhood, etc.) are fair game for characters.  They can be anything sentient, just not all-powerful.  I encourage you to use your own in-game characters if you have them.
  • This would be a pure Warcraft RP.  That means we follow the lore, and no crossovers.
  • Plot is up for discussion.  Look below for a few of my own ideas, but feel free to share some of your own.  Eventually, we'll put the most popular ones to a vote.
  • The sexual content will likewise be agreed on by popular consensus.  Light, Extreme, or anything in between.
  • Don't feel restricted by the game.  There may be no mage spell called Liquid Fire, but that doesn't mean you can't use it.  Be creative, come up with new abilities (within reason, no Godmodding) or skills.
  • Again no Godmodding.  And no bunnying (that is, having someone else's character do something or react somehow without the owner's consent).
  • Character consent and player consent are two different things.  Ignoring one leads to good times, ignoring the other leads to bans.

Potential Plots
The plot can be based on anything right before or during the Cataclysm.  Only one rule: it must be within the lore of the game.
  • Common Enemy: The characters, both Horde and Alliance, are embroiled in conflict somewhere (TBD by players) when the day of the Cataclysm hits.  As the world is torn apart by earthquakes and crumbling mountains, a more direct enemy appears: the militant cultist Twilight's Hammer and their elemental warriors.  As the Twilight's Hammer seeks to obliterate and capture both the Horde and Alliance's holdings, they must join together to destroy this common enemy.
  • Prisoner of War: The characters find themselves in the Twilight Highlands before the Cataclysm, perhaps as emissaries to the Dragonmaw and Wildhammer, maybe as explorers, or as conquerors to claim land for their faction.  However, several of them are kidnapped (the kidnappees could be PCs or NPCs, if no one wants to be nabbed) by the ever growing Twilight's Hammer.  As the Shattering happens around them, the Horde and Alliance move to rescue their captured comrades.  I would be in control of the Twilight's Hammer
  • Aggression: The Horde, possibly led by High Warlord Gorejaw, leads a small, covert attack on an Alliance outpost.  The attack, it's combat, and it's fallout would be the meat of the RP.  The Shattering would happen during the attack.
  • Exploration: What it says on the tin.  The characters will roam around, while I'll act as a GM, throwing challenges, quests, and other snags in to make it interesting.  This would quickly lead into an as yet undiscovered plot line.  This could be all one faction, or a mixture of both.

Quote from: Shjade on June 07, 2011, 02:27:23 PMCautiously interested. Given what you noted about abilities within reason not being limited by game mechanics, are limited class crossovers allowed? For instance, I've always wondered why Death Knights who were warriors in a past life forget how to use shields - that kind of thing. Not encouraging total hybrids where you end up with a mage who also has a warlock pet and can wear platemail etc. etc., but some skills seem like they shouldn't be so hard to learn/remember, within reason. In the interest of being up front, I ask as I was considering a DK who was previously a rogue and basically trading out plate armor for stealth (being stealthy in platemail's kinda hard!).

Will get a rough character profile up here in a bit.

Crossovers are fine.  The class system from the game is more of a guideline for you guys to use when making characters.  Also, DK's not using shields is a gameplay mechanic.  There's no in-universe reason why a DK couldn't pick up a shield and use it, after all.  And if you want a stealthy DK, go right ahead.  Any hybridization is alright as long as it makes sense.  If you think your character might be pushing the limits in believability, ask me and I'll tell you one way or the other.

Wolfy

Hmm...;D I vote for extreme, so druids can get the most use out of their forms..xD

Buuut..I think I'd like to join...^-^

This is going to sound dumb. Let's say you read the lore of WOW, but never played the game. How much of WOW would you need to know?

Name: Syrazad Dawnlifter
Titles: the Argent Champion
Race: Quel'dorei
Age: 160
Class: Nightblade
Specialization: Stealth & one-on-one encounters
Spells/Skills: In addition to expected Rogue skills*: Shadowform, Toxic touch, Detect invis, Track undead. (*excluded skills: Fan of Knives, Axe-wielding)
Talents/Professions: Alchemy, Enchanting, First aid, Reconnaissance.
Main Faction: Argent Dawn/Crusade
Secondary Faction(s):
Core Alliance factions - Unfriendly; Stormwind - Hostile; Quel'dorei - Exalted; Kal'dorei - Honored
Core Horde factions - Hostile; Thunder Bluff - Neutral (done a lot of work alongside Tauren druids and shaman in the Plaguelands)
Kirin Tor - Honored
Steamwheedle Cartel - Friendly
Ashen Verdict
The Violet Eye

Status with your Main Faction: Exalted -- Prominent agent and scout. Occasionally entrusted with small number of Crusaders for small-scale operations in the field but passed over for general command position.

Personality: Friendly but aloof. Syrazad takes her work seriously and has few close friends but is generally said to be a warm and sociable person in conducive circumstances. Enjoys wine now and then and has an interest in cultural variance; though her long history with trolls rules out any chance of diplomacy in the near future with the tribes, her work with the Argent Dawn and, later, the Crusade has given her a more tempered view of many races' places in the world. Harbors a hatred for the Scourge that has ruined more than one polite conversation that broached the wrong subject at the wrong time.

History: Syrazad has led a rather average life for the period. Her childhood was spent in education both in the arcane and the natural, and in combat and stealth when a natural proficiency for both made itself clear. During the first war between orcs and humans Syrazad, 121 years old, acted mainly as a scout for elvish archery units to locate and mark targets prime for raiding. When it became clear the war was not going in favor of the Alliance she was tasked with remaining in enemy territory to gather information and study the enemy as they are outside of the battlefield. When the war rose again she was discovered by one of Alleria Windrunner's long-range scouts and brought back into the main body of the Alliance forces, acting as a skirmish escort to Alleria's company until Alleria accompanied Alliance forces through the Dark Portal. Syrazad remained behind to root out Horde forces left in Azeroth, taking particular pleasure in hunting down stray trolls cut off from their main retreating force.

Roughly twenty years later, during the uprising and escape of Horde prisoners from Alliance custody, Syrazad was in Quel'thalas. She had a front-line view of the Scourge rolling over her homeland and fled from it, having no ability to stand against the waves of undead pouring out on the world. She took the news of Sylvanas' loss poorly, having gained some affection for the Windrunners after her previous work with them. It seemed as though it took no time at all for everything to go from terrible to catastrophic, the Scourge devouring Quel'thalas from one side and the elves' sometimes tenuous alliance with humanity coming to a head in the form of Kael'thas' decision to "save" his people by finding an alternative to the Sunwell. It was not a decision with which the Dawnlifter could agree; rather than follow the naga to their promised new source of magic Syrazad parted company with Kael and his followers, and found herself imprisoned by Alliance forces for her trouble.

It was five years before the elf managed to escape that cage, taking advantage of a prison riot to slip out unnoticed. By then the world had changed yet again. She found herself without any place to call home: Quel'thalas was a ruin, the Alliance were short-sighted bastards and the Horde, though rumored to be led by a more intelligent and cool-headed leader than their previous warchiefs, was still the Horde. She spent some months alone in the ruined lands between old Lordaeron and old Quel'thalas, scavenging what she could and hiding from the corrupted beasts roaming the territory until the beginnings of the Argent Dawn came to her attention. Given the nature of their mission and their opposition the Dawn was in need of knowledgeable eyes and hands in the field for constant updates on the shifting strength of the Scourge. No one seemed to care about the political strife among the factions and races, nor did they ask many questions about her past; the Dawn was interested in results, a point of view to which Syrazad could relate when it came to the destruction of these abominations. She kept her contact with Alliance and Horde forces both to a minimum, working alongside either if it furthered her own goals for the Dawn but otherwise avoiding direct intervention for or against either side, and has more or less maintained this state since.

Racial Affections: Tauren. The Alliance proved itself untrustworthy, the Horde too destructive and wild, and even her own people gave in to their baser side in the end, yet these creatures from across the sea seem to maintain a certain peace and connection to the land that reminds her of home before the wars. It's a cautious affection, if it can be called that; more of an optimistic interest, really.

Racial Hatreds: Scourge, first and foremost, closely followed by trolls, undead in general, ogres, and mudkips.

Sexual Experience: Limited. During the first war she entertained a brief interlude with an elf she barely knew before their first direct confrontation with the Horde; he died in the ensuing battle. She knows the basics of how things work, and she has at times enjoyed herself, but isn't particularly amorous. That said, she has been known to show something of an exhibitionistic streak when it comes to off-duty attire at times when in friendly company.

Armor: Dappled blue-violet leather vest and pants, arms covered by a matching shrug; fingerless blue leather gloves; head shrouded by loose cloth wrap, leaving only eyes exposed.
Weapon: First Light in her main hand, a curving short blade of hardened elementium with a knuckle-guard grip, enchanted to increase the wielder's speed and accuracy; in her off-hand she wields Shade-Render, best described as a narrow spike in a cross (+) pattern to create long-bleeding wounds, enchanted to draw even more blood from those struck by it to empower the wielder and quicken her own wounds' healing.
Mount: She keeps no personal mount, believing that rushing to a destination is the best way to get oneself killed. When necessary she will borrow a stallion or hippogryph from the Dawn/Crusade and is a capable rider of either.
Other Equipment: A variety of poisons are always on her person. She wears a thin white leather thong in her hair to tie it back. Brings a belt of throwing knives on most outings.

Appearance: Syrazad stands roughly 5'10" at 135 lbs. with a lean, sinewy build. What curves she has are modest, complementing her figure well enough but honed down by years of long campaigns and survival in hostile territory. Her skin is pale pink, her eyes light blue, her straight shoulder-length hair white with subtle gold highlights; most often wears her hair back in a tight low ponytail. As is the case with many elves her face belies her age, rather delicate features appearing youthful and fresh despite her hundred-and-some years, though there are signs of experience to be found if one looks closely.
Notable Traits: A thin curving scar traces the underside of her left eye socket, a scar from where she was struck by the sword hilt an Alliance officer during the fallout of the naga intervention. A messier splash of scar tissue at the left side of her abdomen memorializes her near-disembowelment during her second year in the human prison, healed down to a shiny asymmetrical star about three inches in diameter found a couple of inches above her hip bone.
Casual Clothing: Typically wears a tabard of the Argent Dawn/Crusade over light cloth trousers in warm conditions; a lined fur cloak over the tabard over a blue leather jerkin, pants and boots in cold.

How sex focused is this going to be?

Maybe the spells and skills used in the game, to give you an idea of how combat works.  Not necessary, but if your curious, here's Wowhead's class ability database.  The class list is on the right side; pick one and hit Apply Filter to see their abilities.

Other than that, WoW Wiki can serve most of your needs.  Or us.  Feel free to PM me any questions or ask them in the OOC thread.

Not at all.  That was a great profile; character approved.  Picture isn't necessary, but a visual ID always helps.

Depends on what everyone wants.  Personally, I prefer "Let story dictate sex, not sex dictate story."  But, then again, this is a group RP.

To everyone who's replied so far: What are your preferences for sex and story?  ((Now that I think of it, I should've put that on the profile, lol))

So pure mages allowed? Like magic user galore? Or are their restrictions?

Make whatever you want.  If this guy is the kind of mage who uses fireballs to light candles and teleportation to go to the grocery for a gallon of milk (which he levitates back home; physical labor is for those mere mortals, amirite?) that's fine by me.

The only restriction with mages is being overpowered.  Remain aware that every magic action takes mana, and that it requires careful meditation (evocation) to restore.  The more powerful the action, the more mana it consumes.

I'm sorry that really made me laugh.

I understand the mana bit. In most RPs video game or not, I play mage characters. I know the limitations and boundaries of such realms.

How are we going to have Alliance and Horde characters in the same game?

Also, are we allowed to create characters who are connected to canon NPCs?  I would very much love to create a human Paladin who is the son of Tirion.

Depends on which plot you guys want to use.  If the Horde and Alliance are actively fighting, it would probably be in two threads; one Horde, one Alliance.  Other IC threads could be made if necessary.  Really, though, it ultimately depends on the story circumstances.

Niftykeen. I'll add in a picture if I find one, but it's always troublesome trying to find an image that gets close to what I'm picturing rather than just "this is an elf, and I'm playing an elf, so close enough." ;p

As for preferences...hard to say, really. I've had a lot more experience with one on one RP as opposed to large groups, but what little I have done suggests that having folks mostly on the same side would make for smoother action if it's going to be a longer fight (group combat between players just seems to get convoluted fast), so I'd be inclined toward a Common Enemy or Raid Night scenario if it's to be combat-heavy. If folks are more interested in adventurey-type activity (likely higher sexual content as well), on the other hand, having rival factions at work provides some impetus to make progress rather than idle in one spot too long for fear of falling behind the opposition. Really just a matter of how interested parties want to make their characters, more or less.

My, but that was an ambiguous way to not give any opinion at all, wasn't it? Just for myself, I like ranging/exploration/questing with spiciness popping up in appropriate circumstances (running into opposing group, interlude with bandits, etc.) - story and adventure with sex for spice rather than being the focus, in other words.

As an aside, are you planning to have a character in this also, Question, or are you running things in the background, or both?

Edit: update on the ongoing picture quest: I have yet to find even one picture of a Quel'dorei rogue, much less one not dressed like a whore. xD
In my head it'd be something like taking her face, hairstyle and general build with her clothes, albeit with a proper vest instead of a bustier, pants in place of thigh-highs, and a blue/purple theme rather than green/gold. And lighter hair color. *shakes fist at fail-picture-finding*

I plan on both, once again dependant on the plot.

I could make a character who acts as a leader and directs people IC, or I could just be part of the group while acting as a GM on the RP as a whole.  I'll add your questing idea to the list.

Okay, just don't gear up too much.  I don't want to be the newbie in greens.   :P

Also, here's my character:

Name: Ariat Ivorydawn
Titles: Retired Crusader
Race: Blood Elf
Age: 142
Class: Previously a dirty dagger fighter, now trained as a defensive warrior
Specialization: Dual dagger fighting (though loathes to use it), defensive fighting with shield and sword
Spells/Skills: Holding ground, disarming, first aid use,
Talents/Professions: Knowledgeable regarding poisons, mounted combat,
Main Faction: Horde
Secondary Faction(s): Argent Crusade, though will only aid in times of great need
Status with your Main Faction: Well-regarded mercenary
Personality: Ivorydawn, as she typically goes by her surname when among fellow armsmen, keeps up a stiff shield over her emotions.  When doing business or in a group, she comes off as stoic and determined, perhaps even a bit grim.  Privately, she nurses emotional wounds both deep and scaring.  She has a soft spot for children and forbids to let anyone disparage the path of the Light, though she makes no sign of following it herself.
History:  Ariat was the daughter of a fine tailor, being groomed to marry above her station when the Scourge came to Silvermoon City.  With the death of her family and many others on whom her life depended, she took to mercenary work in the name of the city and later the Horde.  Quick with a dagger, she soon took on more and more dangerous jobs, traveling the known world to defeat Scourge and line her pockets.  Though she knew not what she saved for, Ariat was determined that one day she would give up mercenary work and live a normal, quiet life.  While working as a freelance for the newly formed Argent Crusade, Ariat had a holy epiphany while tending to a dying paladin.  She became a devote follower of the Light, training to become an Argent Crusader.  She rose in the ranks, a model for devotion to the cause and the Light.  Vidtz, a young orcish squire, was assigned to her, and Crusader Ivorydawn found in the boy a meaning her life had lacked.  She petitioned the Crusade to fully adopt the boy as her own, one day hoping to spend a more peaceful life raising him.  A sudden accident with a poorly secured training saddle cost the boy his life.  Denied the child she had set her future upon, Crusader Ivorydawn in her grief returned her tabard to the Crusade, retiring from active duty.  Without a set course for her life, she has returned to mercenary work though her honor has not yet degraded to the point of using poisons and dirty tactics against her foes.
Racial Affections: Forsaken (she admires their individual tenacity), Blood Elves
Racial Hatreds: High elves, heavily distrusts Death Knights (for the most part, she considers them no longer a member of their birth races) and trolls
Sexual Experience: Having enjoyed playful trysts in her youth and mindless tumbles as a mercenary, Ariat did not take any lovers while a Crusader, finding none she desired to fully physically bond with during that time.  She prefers male attention over women but is willing to find love (or distraction) in either sex.
Armor:  Bronze and red plate, scratched from use but without dents.  She keeps a set of dark, well-oiled leather just in case.
Weapon: A long sword of little note.  She keeps a pair of daggers, with sharp and jagged hilts, named Wits and Puns, with deep grooves for poison.  Her shield, a glowing white tower shield, is known to be given to Argent Crusaders, called Bulwarks of Light.  They are known to heal their bearers when they are most in need.  The symbol of the Crusade as been pried off, leaving a blank mark at its center.
Mount: Argent charger and griffon (identifying barding removed)
Other Equipment:
Appearance: Ariat was not beautiful, though few recognized this if caught in her rare charms.  Though once having a decent prettiness in her careless youth, Ariat has been molded by her life, fading this once uneventful bit of elven loveliness.  Her hair, the ivory color her family has noted for, is cut roughly at chin length and usually tucked into her helmet.  Her lips and chin are thin, her chartreuse glowing eyes bearing the typical pride of her people.  Her upper arms, shoulders, and thighs have well-defined muscles, hardened by practical use and martial practice.  When not marred by a dash of white scar, her skin is pale where her armor would lie, her face usually shielded by her helm.  Her hands are well-calloused and long fingered though her palms are scarcely larger than her thin wrists.
Notable Traits: Tattoo on her hip (a white fox sitting), rough hands, a blotch of scaring on her left upper arm (self-removed tattoo), various white scar lines from battle
Casual Clothing: simple cotton dress with soft leather bodice (think Brewfest Dress)

-I have a drawing of her, but I need to upload it.
My heaven is to be with him always.

Posting interest, with a few questions.

Are you allowing classes from the wowd20 system? Looking more into playing a blademaster (class not in the game (for PC, they are as NPCS) but in the world) over my in game character.
http://www.wowpedia.org/Blademaster

Also what "Time" we in, or what events are most current?

Arthas? Deathwing? Back to Vanilla before any major threats? I don't want to be a pain but I need to know what "mind set" to be in when I work up a bio if the character concept is allowed or if I have to scrap it and start over.

Question Mark

New, old, and little used classes are always welcome.  Blademaster your thing?  Then go for it!

As for timeset.  Since no one has stated any interest, I'm just going to say this RP will take place immediately before the Cataclysm.  So, roughly the year 35.  For reference, the timeline puts the First War at year 0, and Arthas died in the year 33.

Aiden

Awesome setting imo, before the shattering but after the veterans return unsure on what to do now with their non war filled lives.

Thanks Question, I'll work up a sheet soonish, returning veteran disillusioned with the petty squabbles between the horde and alliance (after seeing the bigger threats) will be fun to work with.

Cooking - You find interesting ways to make bulk rations taste good when that's all you eat.
Jewelcrafting - Just like in the game: Boring as hell.  Makes good money.
Languages - Spending time on Outland forced Emric to learn some languages, in addition to the ones learned in his childhood.  He considers it a fun hobby.  He knows fluent Common, Thalassian, and Orcish.  He also knows some Gnomish, Goblin, and Dwarven.  He likes to study Draconic and Kalimag, but obviously knows very little.
Teleportation - He can teleport to magically powerful places he has been, such as Dalaran and Stormwind.  Given enough detail, he could also teleport to the Sunwell, Silvermoon City, etc.
Archeology - Emric is an amateur explorer and archeologist.  He's basically Brann Bronzebeard in this aspect.

Main Faction: Explorer's League

Secondary Faction(s): In order from most important to least.
- Dalaran
- Stormwind
- The Alliance
- Steamwheedle Cartel
- The Consortium
- The Scryers

Status with your Main Faction: He's a rising star.

Personality: Emric's youth, combined with his expeditions throughout Azeroth and Draenor, has created a pseudo-mature personality.  He's both naive and street smart, knowing how to survive and how the world works, but also stuck in the eternal optimism of youth.  He takes things as they come, often jumping to conclusions and acting on impulse.  He's not stupid though; his impulses are just based on rapid insight, a knack for seeing straight to the source of the problem.  Emric has a boundless imagination, always experimenting with magic and expressing his creativity through writing and storytelling.  He's bored easily - Jewelcrafting, for example, terrifies him - and always on the move and looking for change.  He prefers diplomacy over violence, talking over combat; this is both because of his relative inexperience with fighting, and because of his overall focus on creation and discovery.

History: Emric was born in the year 12 in Stormwind, the first of three children (he was the only to survive past the first year).  He grew up with many trips out of the city and into the surrounding forests and hills.  His mother was killed when he was seven, far away in the Redridge Mountains.

When he was 12, Emric expressed real interest in magic, rather than the priesthood he had always led his father to believe.  Begrudgingly, he was given classes by local mages.  However, the next year, his father (a paladin) was called to Lordaeron to deal with the rumors of an unholy blight spreading through the extreme north.  Although he didn't believe it was worth traveling half the world, Emric convinced him to go so that the young boy could be trained by the magisters of the magocratic city-state, Dalaran.

Of course, the Scourge proved to be a horrifyingly destructive force.  With his father's wellbeing unknown, Emric was forced to remain in Dalaran, even after it's destruction.  He helped rebuild it, training and learning there until he was seventeen, when he decided to fulfill his second passion in life: exploration.  Finding a nearby expedition of dwarves, Emric joined the Explorer's League.

He traveled the Eastern Kingdoms for several years, and went through the Dark Portal the moment it was secured.  After two years in Outland Emric, now 21, joined the Ulduar expedition, studying the Titan city until just recently, when news of his father being alive called him back to Stormwind.

Racial Affections: In order
Humans - Well, dur
High Elves - They're masters of magic, live hundreds of year, are the finest specimens of beauty, and hold Light in themselves via the Sunwell.  They are his greatest aspiration.
Blood Elves - Blood elves are just better high elves.  He's compassionate for their suffering, and sees in them a strength that the wispier high elves don't possess.
Goblins - Those wacky goblins.  One day they exchange schematics with you.  The next, they try to blow you up with a toothbrush.  He loves that.
Gnomes - He loves their concept of technology as the "physical magic."
Trolls - He's encountered many troll tribes over the years, some friendly, some not.  He admires their adaptiveness and underlying culture.

Racial Hatreds: In order
Undead - Any and all.  The destruction of Dalaran scarred him.  He sees the Forsaken as worse than the Scourge: Scourge are mindless or unwilling.  The Forsaken choose to commit their atrocities.
Demons - They're freaking DEMONS!
Orcs - Not so much anymore.  This is more of a deep-rooted remnant of his childhood that he's trying to purge from himself.

Sexual Experience: He's had two relationships, never got into any flings or one-offs.
- His first was with a high elf mage-in-training around his age three years after the sacking of Dalaran. <--- Relationship
- His second was with a human herbalist he had met in Shattrath City during his time in Terrokar Forest.  They remain in contact via letters.  <--- Relationship

Armor: Heavy hooded cloak with clasps.  Long sleeved cloth shirt.  Leather vest with many, many pockets on it.  He has thick pants with padded leather parts over the knees.  His boots are heavy stacked cowhide.  Fingerless gloves with metal knuckles (used for prospecting and jewelcrafting).  Coloration is mottled brown and green.

Weapon: Two, actually.
Composite Shotgun - He made it himself from a Goblin schematic, with one or five dozen adjustments.  Shoots single bullets, medium range, ammunition is often enchanted by Emric.  Used mainly for hunting.
Spirit of Curiosity - A short sword gifted to him from Amani trolls.  He's had it enchanted and reforged to compensate for it's age.  Approximately 75 centimeters long, straight, though the last 15 centimeters forms a gentle curve.  There's a blood canal for poisons (which he never uses).  A delicate engraved script around the hilt gives it its name.

Mount: A young mare named Tella.

Other Equipment: Many blank scrolls and ink jars.  A couple of books.  Bundles of maps.  Ammunition (maybe 50 bullets).  Food and water skins for two weeks travel.  Various herbs and powders for reagents, utilities, or medicine.  Extra clothes.  Basic camping supplies.

Appearance:  A bit lighter skinned.  Cloak, belt, and shirt are the same (aside from the shirt being brown).

Notable Traits: None worth mentioning aside from his heavily tanned skin.  At least, heavily tanned visible skin.

Casual Clothing: His armor his casual clothing.

Can't speak for Star or Shade, but I like to put a lot of detail into my characters.  It's not a requirement.  :P  Besides, it only looks impressive because it requires a lot of info.  By the time it's done, I'm sure it'll look fine.  I wouldn't let something like that deter you, of course.

Eldire Melbourne

Alternative Photo/Appearance: This photo is the alternative to the closeup. So you understand his hair and such. This time around his hair is longer than where he usually wears it. Here is the photo

Eldire is as handsome as a skeleton. His skin is milky and white, all of his features are thin and malnourished. His skin seems to stretch across his face. He isn't old, nor does he look very old. Rather he was more like a starving handsome young man. He was blond with metallic like strands of hair; like cotton it flowed in the wind. Though no one saw any of these features, he wore a black hooded robe that was quite large on him. There were ancient runes on the trim of the hood and other parts of trim on the robe. His eyes were sharp and metallic silver, that reflected multiple colors in the light. Bands of bright colors, a rainbow bent into these husky silver eyes. His eyelashes were the strangest of them all as they were the last figment remains of stitches that once closed his eyes together. His lips had scars from the stitches once sewing his mouth shut. He had the faintest smell of lilac and roses, which lingered even when he no longer was there. There were dark circles underneath his eye, from active sleepless nights. In one eye reflected his fear and his grievance. And in the other eye reflected his sadness and grief.

Arcane Blast [single-target force blast]

Arcane Explosion [blasts everything around the spellcaster at point-blank range]

Blink [short-range teleport, jumps you forward about 15 meters]

Talents/Professions: Enchanting and Inscriptions, due to his control in raw magic its most likely he is wide in the verse of enchanting and inscritpions.

Main Faction: Kirin Tor

Secondary Faction(s): NA

Status with your Main Faction: He can be a pain in their side

Personality: In present time Eldire is quite calm. Both wise and eager. He doesn't talk much, maybe because he can't see much. He lost most of his speech at fourteen years old when discovered by James. Being both in solitude and being placed within in walls, he was left to die. And part of him did die. He appears alone and doesn't get attached to people often. He keeps his dreams and his seer abilities to himself. Much to the groups annoyance. Despite being quite calm, he can be temperamental and bitter. People disgust him. Make him sick. He has this seething hate towards them. Towards their fear. Which frightens the group into believing that he would align himself with the demons. In the scope of things Eldire has hobbies of course, everyone has hobbies. He likes to compose music in his head of course. Never owning an instrument he tends to use his non existent voice or hands to compose pieces he can only hear. He humors himself by remember the tunes that he once heard in his own home, as he lay to rot away within in his home. A crypt for a crypt. Eldire isn't a loner, he will amused himself sometimes as well by aligning with people, but not for very long. He's rather nomadic and doesn't enjoy getting close.

History:

Eldire was born both a seer and powerful mage; born in a farm in one of Lordaeron's villages.. His parents were frightened of him because of his dreams. His predictions. But not only that, but his strength in the arcane arts. They were afraid to send him off anywhere, to the special magic schools. And they possibly didn't have enough money to do otherwise anyway.

"It was like a crypt. The smell was of rotten wood and stale water. The bugs use to bite and I could hear the scratching of a few or more rats. They squeaked and yet with my eyes closed I still had my dreams. I was a weaver of the futures within in my dreams. I was alone and hungry and wondered on days at end if I were to die. And yet all though I had both died and lived, I wasn't yet ready to give up. Some nights naively I'd bang on the walls, to no avail. I wondered if I was still in the at home sometimes. But it must be. Because I could both hear the folk songs and my father bringing whores home."

Eldire was born a rather special seer. One that was born only ever few hundred years or so. They were called Dream Weavers. And quite close to it they were powerful in dream magic. Dream magic is the abilities of putting enemies to sleep, paralysis and create and cause illusions to their host. Eldire was rescued by a knight name Sir James of Catheolon. He was further raised for most of his life by Sir James. Rescued at fourteen, Eldire was at the deaths door by the time James had come. [For he sake of this RP I have been informed that arcane creates illusions and shadow magic is entropy. So that's how we'll interpret this.

"Both the music and the people seemed to muddle themselves. All the sounds were now the same. Over and over again. In darkness and solitude. I wondered if I were both mad and sane. Such contradictions within life. Such an oxymoron. My life was an oxymoron. I couldn't move my body, all I could do was weave dreams. All I could do was see the future and know nothing would come to avail. I never knew that my family had left me within in this crypt. All the sounds sounded the same. I couldn't tell what time or how much time had passed. I couldn't move. This must be what death is like. Then why, why do I continue to dream the dreams of the future. Sometimes I heard walls collapsing, but that all must have been within my head. But someone's hands, warm hands, touched me. I believed only that it be an angel, cascading me high into the sky where I could be sent back to hell. To tease and trick me with the gates of heaven. When I did awake, I was still alive. Much to both my disappointment and solemn grief. The world was still so dark. So dark. And I wondered if I were actually dead.

"Hey hey," said a rasp, quiet voice, "Take it easy. Take it easy."

Yet, I couldn't speak and yet I could say nothing because I had forgotten to both see and speak."

James a knight of Catheolon knew some people due to his ages of war. And decided that he was to take care of the boy abandoned in a wine cellar. Having so many friends in high places allowed him to get the boy a teacher of magic. Someone to have enough patients with the blind and mute boy. Partially mute. This would have taken place in Dalaran right after it was destroyed. For the sake of the RP as well James probably found the boy during the Scourging.

Racial Affections: None - "I admire a race that minds its own business,"

Racial Hatreds: Humans, which is funny because he is human. It mostly has to do with his past though

Sexual Experience: NA [not applicable]- He's more asexual and only has ever platonic romances. Those didn't last very long though due to Eldire's nomadic thought process.

Armor: None- look at alternative photo/appearance to read what he wears

Weapon: Under Construction - Full Bloom is the name

Mount: He's the kind of wizard that doesn't need a mount cause he teleports. Though its limited to places he knows

Other Equipment: Under construction

Notable Traits: See Alternative Photo/Appearance to read, but I will also explain here. Dark circles around his eyes from very on purpose sleepless nights. The ridges on his right side of his lip exist. Also the freckles too.

On his forehead you see the long line scar with close to the right eyebrow, that also exist.

I was keeping the swirled marks on his right cheek, as some form of face war paint though. By that mean I mean the area near the lip that extends up inside the bridge of the of the nose and extends only to the cheek bone.

Other:- Hold on loading his theme song and other forms of information

Question Mark

The scarring on the right side of his face seems to be artistic - note how it's "flaking off" into the black.  How much of that is actually on his face?

Spells/Skills: Summoning Ghouls. Disarming. Has created her own diseases.
Talents/Professions: Enchanting, Alchemy
Main Faction: Horde
Secondary Faction(s): Knights of the Ebon Blade, Dalaran.

Her skills helped to Advance Alchemy far, and her intelligence couldn't be matched...until she lost her life, and all of that went away. Now, for the past five years, she has been under the Lich King's control, only recently broken free by the Knights of the Ebon Blade, something she is thankful for. Her memories and the things she knew come back to her in bits and pieces, flashbacks triggering when she sees something familiar.
Racial Affections: Draenei (Secretly!), Worgen, Tauren.
Racial Hatreds: Humans! Dwarves!
Sexual Experience: Very sexual, she is very flexible and willing to experiment. She was the same in her past life, though now that she has diseases that can paralyze and even arouse, she likes being a death knight even more.

Bladestorm- A storm of steel and death, none have seen one up close and lived to tell
Talents/Professions: Dragonriding, Miner/blacksmith
Main Faction:  Horde
Secondary Faction(s):
Warsong Offensive
Warsong Outriders
Forsaken Defilers
Frostwolf clan
Status with your Main Faction: Highly respected by warriors, distrusted by the younger ones under the new leadership despite being born from the warsong clan.
Personality: Disturbingly calm, wise and mild tempered (when not in combat). Highly disciplined and respectful to those who return it. Commanding and frightening in combat a true orc who excels in the battlefield and has the scars, legend and songs to prove it.
History:
Gorejaw is among the first generation of the new horde, the first children born free from the lethargy and demon corruption their ancestors have been forced to endure. But these new generations are torn between old inherited hatreds and a new world that can not let go of the past. The young orc was taught personally by Varok Saurfang after he was able to match his other teachers in combat at a young age. Schooled by shamans, taught about the spirits and their blessings and hardened in combat by the High Overlord himself the young brash Gorejaw became an orc of honor and knowledge well beyond his years.

His skill in combat began in the warsong gulch and Arathi Basin, securing the highly needed supplies for the growing city and its people. He rose through the ranks quickly, proving himself in combat and when Thrall's personal clan came under fire by the stormpike league he answered the call and fought where he learned the path of the Blademaster by Captain Galvanger of the frostwolf clan himself. The young man spent two winters before the battle came to a stalemate but the death of Captain Galvenger affected him deeply and came out with a hatred for the alliance.

Upon his return he was recruited into the Kolkron guard and fought along side his mentor Varok in the war of the shifting sands before he was dispatched to Northrend. It took years of brutal warfare in frigid climates to make the man make sense of who he was. There was nothing wrong in battle but hate lead to a vicious cycle that never broke, a lesson he learned as he saw his role model carry his dead son away from the citadel. Few know that it was another combination effort of both horde and alliance forces to finally end the reign of the Lich King, many respected one another and saw each other as family after that event. Returning home for the veteran blademaster had left much to take into consideration. The old hatreds continue to exist on Azeroth and with talks of the son of Grom Hellscream becoming new warchief, Gorejaw finds himself uncertain that a hot headed war monger like Garrosh is ready to take over during Thrall's absence.

Like many who returned, none where given time off, the horde never took vacations but he was one of the lucky ones to return back home and not be left in Northrend as part of the skeletal crew to keep their watch on the few resources they did acquire in the cold wastelands. To keep his body and mind keen he has begun to enter the gladiator games that have been growing in popularity in the time the real men went to war and the children where left home to play.

Racial Affections: Humans- Many can be quite inspiring individuals, Draneai- Long history with this race, is amazed to see how forgiving most can be.  Tuaren- Noble and honorable people, some of his best friends come from the various "hoof" clans.
Racial Hatreds: Goblins- Loathes their greedy immoral ways. Gnomes- Dislikes their fascination with the arcane arts, far more noticeable then other races.
Sexual Experience: Experienced, love on the battlefield was not common but sometimes the best way to stay warm in the bone chilling cold was to take a mate. Human, orc, Dranaei, Troll, etc (does not discriminate)
Armor:  Wears light armor to keep him swift in battle, wears coat in times of intense cold. Carries a Warsong Sashimono at all times. Attire normally consists of leather pants, a steel plated belt and boots, gauntlets and shoulder guard.
Weapon:

Culling song
Gorejaw has carried this weapon since he earned the rank of Highwarlord before he went off to the war of the sands. Despite the same appearance it is nothing like the original that the master smiths of the horde made for him. The original blade has been replaced my an alloy blend of multiple metals that make the blade vibrate when swung that it makes a distinct sound many have described like a wyvern's screech. Much like Hellscream, it announced death on the battlefield and has spilled unmeasurable amounts of blood. The blade is Gorejaw's honor, pride and joy in one and he can be found sharpening or caring for it like a mother would a child.
Mount:
Onyxsteel

Other Equipment:A blood stained tabard of the Silverhand given to him by an  fallen (alliance) comrade which he keeps in his personal possessions at all times until he can find the son he swore to deliver it to.
Appearance: (See picture)

Notable Traits: Multiple scars across his body, mostly chest. The Warsong "grin" on his left arm, the Horde symbol on the right. A pair of blue eyes, a very rare trait among orcs.
Casual Clothing: (Optional)

http://www.wowpedia.org/Timeline_%28from_official_site,_2004%29

Is a pretty decent timeline, you play wow so you began your characters life in the year 25.

Arthas died in the year 35.

So in that time there was the war of the sands, the multiple battlegrounds, the war in northrend and this game starts at the end of the Lich King before the cataclysm expansion.

Alliance

My character is only a few post up. Eldire Melbourne.

I want to combine and create some spells, and probably make a class that combines both classes together.

He creates illusions, paralyzes enemies, puts them to sleep, and knows more "physical magic". By physical magic I mean raw magic, which works more like telekensis...the fantasy world version of "psychic abilities".

Check Wowhead for any questions you might have, although the Timeline is a great place to start.  "Hmm, the Third War, what was that?"  Click the link and you'll know.  I <3 wikis.

To answer your immediate questions though.  The Warcraft timeline is based on the year 0, when orcs (I'm sure you know these guys) first invaded Azeroth and her kingdom, Stormwind; this was known as the First War.  35 years later, a lot of stuff happened.  The orcs formed the Horde, the humans formed the Alliance, both inviting and allying with other races (like elves, trolls, etc.).  The Horde and Alliance became Azeroth's two super powers in a sense, clashing again in the Second War, and a third time twenty years later in the middle of a demonic invasion (ya, epic right?).

The war veterans we mentioned are returning from a distant conflict with the Lich King, this really powerful dude who controls the massive undead army known as the Scourge, formed during the Third War.  His death was a pretty big deal.  Once he was defeated, the Horde and Alliance heroes returned home.  This roleplay takes place around that time period, right before the Shattering.

Question Mark

Oh, Aiden: still working on the poll.  I need to come up with actual stories now (unless any of you guys have ideas?  Ever hopeful)

She also has some strange kinks, and what turns her on is a good battle, where she will often dominate her prey both physically and sexually before killing them. She also likes to be dominated in bed, as long as she knows she can take back control afterward.

Due to her small figure and her ability at hiding easily she decided to become a rogue. Heh, absolutely not.  We're not using stats, systems, or anything like that.  You're free to grab new gear and weapons as they present themselves in the RP, though many characters would be loathe to replace their prized possessions, and they won't make you better at fighting; not in a numbers sense.

Also, Xara is approved.  You're sure she doesn't want a metal breastplate?  Those breasts would fall out if she so much as takes a deep breath.

Heh, I kid, I kid.  Which title would you like for the CHAMPIONS section?

No one's really voiced an opinion so far, and like you said, story seems to be favored in the profiles.  I say we just play it normal, let the RP - story, smut, and all - evolve on its own.  If people want sex, they'll get sex.  If they want epic battles and storys, they'll get those too.

I've finally finished this thing. Let me know if you have any problems with it or if you want something changed. :)

Name: Nelena Moonsong
Titles: The Patient; of Darnassus, The Explorer
Race: Night Elf
Age: 50 years
Class: Druid
Specialization: Feral Feline Form; Stealth
Spells/Skills:

  • Possesses only one other form which she uses mainly for travel.
Rejuvenation: Minor healing spell that can only be used in desperate situation since she has not fully mastered this skill
Spells used in Cat form such as rake, ravage, and shred
Talents/Professions: Herbalism; Alchemy
Main Faction: Alliance
Secondary Faction(s):
Argent Crusade
Explorer’s League
Cenarion Circle
Status with your Main Faction:  Respected due to position as druid and dedication to seeing to the balance of nature.
Personality: More linked with nature than other humanoids. Prefers to watch to learn about new activities rather than jump directly into the fray. Enjoys spending time in cat form since it allows more mobility and greater security when moving through unknown territory. Attempts to avoid violence and conflict but sometimes falls prey to baser instincts due to youth. Queit in nature but knows when to speak up or kill.
History: Nelena towards the end of the first war. During this time, she was kept in seclusion to perfect and learn more the druidic arts. Being female, she has always felt disadvantaged by her sex since the majority of her peers are male. As the Northrend wars began to become a more serious affair, she was sent with many other Night Elves to heal the lands of Kalimdor that had been touched by a tainted force. It was during this time that she was exposed to different races and many factions. (Basically she studied during the Burning Crusades, engaging in small journeys then becomes more active during the rise of the Lich King :) )
Racial Affections:
Dranei: Similar interest allows them to get along better than with most races
Tauren: These graceful creatures respect the land as the druids so she has a great affection for them.
Racial Hatreds:
Forsaken: These beings do not deserve to walk on the land with their unholy aura disrupting the natural balance.
Gnomes:  A bit too hasty and quick in their actions. Their disrespect for nature can also be a bit troublesome.
Blood Elves: Uneasy around them due to long history of trials and tribulations
Orcs: The reason for Night elves losing their immortality and also invading their territory which lead to daily disputes.

Sexual Experience: Fully aware of the sexual activities of men and beast since she learned them in her travels but does not approve of public displays of affection. She has only engaged in small things in her lifetime such as light kissing and touching.
Armor:  Wears simple clothing of leather that allows for swift moment and a moon necklace entrusted to her by a priestess to remind her of home when on travels
Weapon: Dagger of the Rising Moon: Only uses when out of cat form. Prefers since it is small to carry but still deadly when used in combat.
Mount:  Requires no mount due to ability to switch forms. Although, she can ride a war panther and hippogryph with ease.
Other Equipment: Carries a small bag full of belongings (Gathered herbs, vials, other miscellaneous things gathered in travels)
Appearance:  (see image)

My character is only a few post up. Eldire Melbourne.

I want to combine and create some spells, and probably make a class that combines both classes together.

He creates illusions, paralyzes enemies, puts them to sleep, and knows more "physical magic". By physical magic I mean raw magic, which works more like telekensis...the fantasy world version of "psychic abilities".

I'll rephrase what I was trying it.

How would I go about this keeping to WOW?

Nelena is definitely approved; we need more Alliance!  *feels anxious surrounded by trolls and orcs and blood elves (Oh my!)*  What title would you like used in the CHAMPIONS section?

((Note to Self: I really should just put "Preferred Title" in the profile, would've saved a lot of space.))

Alliance: That's arcane magic.  Well, it's really a mix of druidic and arcane, but for simplicity's sake we'll just say we uses arcane magic to do what he does.

Flower

Umm, perhaps the Patient. Easy title to get but difficult to live by :P

For a second there I thought you were talking about me. Damn for shizzel you need more me.

Anyway, all right specialty Arcane Magic coming up.

I'm a bit concerned that the game is going to focus too much on combat.  What's the consensus there?  I would prefer a more character focused game myself rather than nonstol combat.

I doubt the combat will be non-stop even if it's common. The cataclysm will pretty much put a halt on any ongoing battle when it happens, for one. Kinda hard to focus on your little war when there's a massive earthquake and everything is suddenly on fire. ;p

I personally prefer a character focused game, liberally sprinkled with combat.  Combat (and peace) should arise from character development and conflict, and vice versa.  If things go right, that's how it should work.  Of course, you could always avoid combat, along with all the consequences that would entail.

Aiden

My character is more of a diplomat and conflict I will try to talk out OOC since I don't plan on godmodding results. Gorejaw is quite approachable...just don't swing a weapon or a spell or way or it is on.

Alliance

elfguy

Xara is very playful so she'll find something to do (or to have sex with) regardless of the situation.
----

Aiden

It seems the consensus is common enemy or exploration, common exploration!

Flower

Aiden

Deathwing? or maybe a new common enemy before the sundering.

Flower

I had not considered who would be the common enemy. Lol, I guess I should have thought of that.

I just thought a common enemy would give the Alliance and Horde members a reason to be civil with one another.  :/

Aiden

It seems the majority of players have gone the option of the Argent Dawn or "neutral" factions.

I think the only one who would have direct conflicted would be your character and mine since she hates orcs and all. Not to mention his name might be known by some nightelves as a monster in warsong gulch, good chance for inter character tension.

Flower

Tension is always fun. Especially when it explodes  >:)

But we shall see how this moves along. I'm sure that no matter which one is chosen it will be a lot of fun. :)

Aiden

I agree, everyone has put so much into their characters it looks like we have a nice diverse amount of characters and potential plots. I already managed a few potential ones and look forward to others.

Are you big on the nightelf/orc lore Dancingflower? Just so I know, I could see some heated debate come up between them if they ever do encounter one another.

I know some things about it but I'm not an expert. I can know that there are some conflicts over territory and if I remember correctly the Orcs might just be the cause of their lost of immortality.
[/s]
Lol, I might have to brush up a bit on it. I don't mind doing a bit of research every now and then.  :-)

Question Mark

Nah, the demons destroyed the NElven immortality.

BTW, the common enemy plot blurb is in the first post on the first page.  The common enemy would be the Twilight's Hammer (Deathwing's end of the world cult) and their elemental servants.  The location would probably be in one of the BGs, but, actually, since most of you are associated with neutral Argent Dawn, perhaps we can work something out

How about this: Everyone's characters are envoys from various factions (Alliance, Horde, Argent Dawn, individual cities, etc.) who arrived in the plaguelands two years after the Lich King's death.  They're there to meet with the Argent Crusade, which now has a capitol of sorts in Hearthglen.

Then the Shattering starts, the Twilight's Hammer makes an attack (possibly to assassinate Tirion Fordring?), and we all get embroiled in the conflict.

How's that sound?

Aiden

I don't recall first hand if they where the reason they lost their immortality I do know the orcs came into their land and started harvesting lumber and even killed one of their demigods.

http://www.wowpedia.org/Cenarius

Which is reason enough to hate orcs, especially since she is a druid and he killed the patron saint of druids and all...On top of that it was HIS clan that killed him and he carries his banner and pride of the warsong with him.

That sounds good to me, I was going to ask if you read the shattering and played wow before the catacyslm, when ALL the cities came under attack and you learned of the "farm bosses". Which was the flameguy in BRD, the princess in marudon, the wind lord in AQ and one more...but they where the lieutenants, was pretty interesting with the random zones being attacked and both sides having to ally or kill one another then seal the rifts.

Shjade

Sounds reasonable, QM.

Not surprising everyone has some ties to the AD. I mean, who HASN'T done some Argent Dawn work once they got up high enough? ;p

I was just looking at that page. Sounds like a good reason to hate your character to me. I can imagine her spitting on his banner. Just kidding  :P

And that idea sounds fine to me. I recall playing before Cata came out and it was quite entertaining. I had almost forgot about the mini bosses.

Aiden

Question Mark

*holds Aiden and flower apart, but not by too far*

Feel free to spit on his banner, if you want to accept the consequences.   ;)

On a seriouseresser note, are you guys fine with meeting in Hearthglen as representatives of your factions?

I loved doing the old world AD quests in WPL and EPL.  Until I got Starcaller from Ulduar, my character was always Haddren, the Argent Champion.

Flower

I'm fine with meeting in Hearthglen. :)

I love that I can track our movements through the game as we journey across Azeroth. XD

Aiden

Yea  Hearthglen sounds good, go go dragon flight! I'll be Zepplin hopping from Ogrimmar to UC but if the goal is Hearthglenn, I'll cover it all in one post or two. I won't fly into Hearthglenn for risk of having the balista turned on me but I'll land pretty close and walk up the ramp, maybe encounter a few scourge.

Shjade

Being an active member, I get the simplest transportation of all: already being there. ;p

-giggles- I was thinking about doing that too. Or maybe finding a mage with the closest port.

elfguy

Perhaps Xara could have been in nearby Undercity and come up riding on her Raptor, otherwise a wyvern flight would also do.

Question Mark

Alright, it seems that we're agreed.  I'll get to work making the OOC posts.  I'm thinking two threads: OOC discussion with character profiles (I'll take care of linking the profiles), and the main IC thread.

I'll set up the meeting and the reason for it, and your intro posts will be you arriving there (or being there already, heh).

Good idea!  You can fly wherever in the game, but really, city defenses would shoot you down, ask questions later if a dragon came soaring over the walls.  Keep that in mind.

Aiden

Yea I'll respect no fly zones unless it is part of the story that can't be avoided.

Onyxsteel is totally going to camp one of those towers in EPL and make it his roost while Gorejaw conducts business at Hearthglenn.  XD

Scare the shit out of adventures, since I won't pretend to summon him out of a spell book.

I like you more and more.  I never got why people in WoW RPs continue to just whistle and have their 10 ton dragon poof out of thin air.  Those things have lives too, you know :P

Question Mark

Oh, duh, I'm stupid.  The forum it's going to be in is NC-Exotic Freeform Small Groups.  If anyone has an objection, speak now or forever hold your peace.

(sorry, still new to the whole starting a RP gig)

Question Mark

Sorry for the triple post, but hell, GM's privileges.

Anyway, the OOC Thread is up.  I'll edit the IC Thread into this post as soon as I'm done.

Yea, in a RP I think mount upkeep is one of those essential things, can't be summoning creatures left and right.

Shjade

Unless your mount is conducive to summoning. Mechanical things that can go compact, flying carpets, that kind of thing.

Right.

Fumbling through your pack and pulling out an armored warhorse, though, that strains believability.

Shjade

Sure. I just seem to recall owning a lot more summonable mounts than otherwise: warlock with her dreadsteed, paladin with the charger, tailor's carpet, rogue's 'copter, DK's chopper...I guess I just didn't like the mounts you have to take care of as much. xD

Wouldn't surprise me for Azeroth to start building parking lots and airports, what with all the planes, helicopters, motorcycles, tanks, speed bikes, zeppelins, airships....

Also, IC Thread is up!  I look forward to seeing your posts!

Alliance

I'm going to finish Eldire's spells and skills. I just feel like I'm doing something weird.

Zakharra

Are you still looking for players? I'd like to get back into the RP swing of things and I am a huge WoW fan (going on five years of playing this November).

Alliance

I almost forgot, but then was reminded when I saw the IC. I still have to finish Eldire's skills. Why does my memory escape me?
