An RP idea inspired by the Sonnie's Edge episode of Love Death & Robots

Spoilers will come from this episode, this is the only warning for those who care about such.

A form of entertainment that resurged the 'barbaric' Fight Pits had come back to the world with the excitement of the viewers! However, unlike the old battles-to the death or the more mild MMA or boxing fights, the rules and combatants are new. No longer do humans fight each other, but monsters. Literal creatures grown, designed and controlled to fight in an arena, meant to do so to the death. The investments are enormous, but so is the pay out. Even for one good fight, the prize could pay for one to try and make another creature to bring in, learning from past design flaws and jump back in.

This RP idea would focus on the fights, at first, possibly with a newbie to the team for a particular monster. He could just be interested in the work, the games or maybe even meant to sabotage her team for his own purposes. Regardless, he eventually does gain a connection with the member of the team who controls the monster. Only to later find out, it's just a puppet, a shell controlled by the monster, unlike how it is normally. The whole time, the monster is the one that is in control. But even despite learning this, rather than concerned, fearful or angered, they are excited, intrigued.
