Character Type: Main Character

Occupation: Teacher at the local High School

Physical Description: Mark is tall and somewhat slender, something which is usually not readily noticeable to anyone who looks at him, as he usually wears baggy jeans and t-shirts.

Personality: Mark is easygoing and somewhat laid-back, though also open and friendly to mostly everyone he meets, and he has no trouble making friends in the town. He's taught for a few years at the school, and is fiercely loyal to both colleagues and his students, and he feels a sense of duty for taking care of others if someone is dealing with a problem.

History: Mark was born and raised in Nightwood Falls, but left the town in his teenage years to see the world and get an education. After having studied a number of years abroad, he came back four years ago and started working as a teacher at the local High School.

Quirks: Must have 2+ and be equal to Flaws. These are positive characteristics that can help your character survive. There is where you would list weapons.

• Intelligent

- A good education and his work as a teacher has only served to further hone an already sharp intellect, which can be useful to stay alive when shit hits the fan.

• Can use a gun

- Having hunted regularly in the forests around Nightwood Falls, Mark knows how to handle a hunting rifle and other firearms.


Flaws: Must have 2+ and be equal to quirks. These are negative characteristics which could lead to harm for your character.

• Very loyal

- Will never leave another person behind as long as there is something he could do to help them, which means he could end up in dangerous situations where he could have escaped.

• Poor stamina

- A laidback lifestyle, coupled with long work days and frozen dinners means that Mark is not in great physical shape, and will struggle to outrun persistent monsters.

Name: Skinny

Occupation: Monster (lair: The Hospital)

Physical Description: Skinny has the appearance of a tall and slender, quite pretty teenage girl, though most of her skin has been flayed off, leaving wet muscles and sinews glistening with fresh blood. Rather than fingers, each hand has five sharp knife blades, which are used to mutilate her victims.

Personality: If Skinny was to be described with a single word, it would be vanity. Skinny will hunt down her victims, and skin them while they are still alive. Once this is done, she will begin draping herself with their skin and modifying her new 'clothing'. However, due to the fact that all her fingers are replaced with knives, any effort to mend her new attire will invariably end with her ruining it, making it necessary for her to search out a new victim, while crying angry tears of frustration.

History: Some say that Skinny was once a prom queen at the school, who was lured to the hospital and locked up in the basement by her jealous peers. As they slammed the heavy fire door shut, the girl tried to push her way out, only to have her fingers crushed by the metal door. Her screams of terror and pain were muffled by the fire door, and as the rest of the students danced and celebrated the end of the year, no one heard her crying for help. She stumbled blindly around in the darkness, cutting herself on rusted medical equipment and scalpels, and the damage to her perfect, unblemished skin made the girl go crazy. Eventually, her grief and terror made her pick up a rusted scalpel with her palms, and clumsily slice her own throat to end her misery.

As the mist rolled in, the girl's forgotten corpse stirred to life in a forgotten room of the hospital basement, and, as she laid eyes upon herself in the mirror, the girl let out a cry and began flaying her own, scarred skin off. Now, she stalks the hospital in search of beautiful skin to replace her own, ever searching for the beauty she lost.

- Once Skinny has mutilated her victim and taken their skin, she will be fully distracted as she adorns herself with the still-dripping skin of her victim, and begins tailoring it to fit her form. Unless disturbed, she will be distracted until she once more needs to find more skin to adorn herself with.

• Doesn't kill her victim

- Skinny has a morbid fascination with skinning her victims alive, and this means that a stronger victim can keep struggling and possibly hurt Skinny where another monster might kill their victim first to avoid any struggles.

I am working on the Points of Interest for the city - giving them all a bit more detail.  I know that some locations are run by Player Characters.  If you would like specific information to be included, please feel free to PM me so I can make sure it's set up just the way you want it!  Please remember to keep it a short blurb - a few sentences to set the tone of the location.

If anyone is curious, the IC Thread Descriptions are being worked on.  There's still stuff for me to finish up this evening but it's a little preview for those that want to see! 

Also, the GMs would like to thank everyone for both your patience as we work to get things set up and the excitement!!  It's that kind of enthusiasm that me excited and wanting to work hard on the game!!  You all are great and the IC threads haven't even started yet!!  *Hugs to all that want them*

One little suggestion though, perhaps you could make a slightly seedy bar to be an alternative hang-out spot to Courtney's café? Something that is a little less respectable and slightly more shady. Smell of stale beer and cigarette smoke in the air, worn wooden floors, old photographs and maybe a hunting trophy or two on the wall, a juke-box with no song made after 1975 amongst the selection, a couple of pool tables with badly stained felt, ...

Alright everyone. IC Threads are up! There is a GM Event of A Fall Festival that you can place your characters at - but you don't have to. Please do not go past 8:00-8:30PMish on October 1st - because there will be a GM event happening at that time which is going to be almost impossible for any characters to avoid.

Strangefate and I threw up a few posts to help set the scene a bit, but feel free to introduce your characters! I'm going to get Roxy up here in a bit.

Monsters - If you don't mind starting your introduction post at the Monster's Lair. We're going to be throwing another GM event where the monsters roam free within the next few days.

Knowing - You know about the ritual that has just taken place and you're expecting something bad to happen soon.

Main Characters/Victims - D'aww so innocent. Just a normal day for now!

I know we finally got the IC up, but it wouldn't have happened without those two.

Occupation:  High-School dropouts; Bullies; Wannabe gang; jobless

Character Type: NPC Victims (Please play them as 3/2/1 part(s) of a whole, depending on how many are alive at the time)

Brief History:  Matt, Sam, and Adam were friends from birth, pretty much.  Matt and Sam failed a couple of years and were in the same grade as Adam starting at First Grade.  It was there that their abilities to cause trouble were first seen.  Somehow, likely through cheating, they managed to make it to high school.....where they dropped out.  All three of them have an addiction of some kind and are well known for it.  Sam is an alcoholic, or will be one in a couple of years.  Adam smokes anything he can smoke.  Matt.....well.....he's addicted to porn.  The three of them have tried many times to get jobs, but they never last more than a month.  Currently, they are jobless and are living in Sam's basement under his parents' house.  Now, at the festival night, they decided to be funny and dress up as the famous trio of Slasher Movie Villains, Freddy, Jason, and Leatherface, to scare anyone they can, especially on this spooky night.  So, with their costumes on and (obviously) fake blades and chainsaw in hand, they set off for their own fun.

Who can play?:  Everyone (Try to keep them together;  Though they don't have to all die at once, at least keep the surviving members together;  One could die early on and the other two could survive for a while if you so want).  Note:  All three are your stereotypical dumbass teenagers who think they know everything when they really don't.  Think of them as Scooby Doo Villains!

Sexuality:  All three are straight

IF VICTIM:

Link O&Os:  Link is for whoever plays them.

Sexual ONs:  Whoever plays them can assume any and all;  All three are not above raping a girl.  If they can, they will.

Main character, victims, and maybe a monster. A lot of it on Nightmare or Hell. However, if it is sexual gore or vore then I will just let whoever I am posting with have control for those scenes. Even with main characters I don't mind them dieing for a good story.
