I don't know if anyone has ever mentioned this before, but I think being able to click on the One Shot area, and see a random pornographic picture in a thread can be a little startling. I would like to know is there any other area of the board where I have to worry about this happening? Is this the only area this is allowed?

It is my personal opinion that everything like that should be spoilered everywhere. I understand I don't make the  rules and its not my forum, but my two cents, is that this is how it should be,

I would also like to point out, that if an add features just a dick picture, like one recently did, that this could belong to absolutely anyone. It seems very inappropriate to be able to post a picture like that. A picture should be easily verifiable as being according to the rules of the forum, and I cant see there is any way that is.

Anything in the right-hand column is by default automatically considered NSFW, as that's where NSFW roleplaying occurs. As such, people are not required to add spoilers to their roleplay threads in the right-hand column to hide NSFW images. If people choose to, that's fine, but Staff won't require it of them.

NSFW images cannot be used in non-adult areas of the left-hand column at all (like Off-topic or the Introductions, for example), spoilered or not. In the on-site request threads visible to the public (The 1x1 request section and the two group request sections) however, you can, but such images must be linked and not embedded and clearly marked NSFW--a spoiler alone is not considered sufficient in said threads.

The middle column is generally a case-by-case basis, depending on the type of thread in question. Unspoilered images are going to be more common/accepted in the Red Light District in the RPing-type threads or more common in the Finders & Seekers area, though in casual OOC chat threads it would probably be discouraged.

Different areas of the forum have different uses/needs, so that's why the limits for spoilering images vary depending on what area of the site you look at.

As for image age concerns: Staff has several ways of verifying age in images used here. If you see something you think might be underage, report it.

I happen to have also seen the picture in question and it is rather inappropriate. Doesn't seem to be showing up anymore though.

If you think it runs afoul of the rules and you want Staff to evaluate it, hit 'report to moderator' on the post containing it, should the image reappear. Leave small note in your report why you want us to evaluate it (such as a concern over age, etc.).

Thanks for making the policies clearer for me. I can make more informed decisions now about opening this up when roommates are around.
