Name Genevieve T. Prescott
Appearance

Eye Color Light Green

Occupation video game tester/reviewer

Skills/Talents The girl has a knack for drawing crowds, followers even. She speaks, and they listen. Be grateful she’s yet to make the decision to create a cult…because she could. Beings as the world has advanced to the point everything falls back to tech, the pool of gamers has drastically drown, mostly due to leaps in the field of virtual reality, it’s no surprise Gene was swept into gaming at a young age. It’s a passion of hers, and something she considers herself pretty good at.
To be updated and edited as we go along!

Brief History Gene was born into a stable enough household; they had enough money to rarely have feel the bite of struggle. Before she even left home, the girl had created a name for herself among the gaming community, not just as a player but as a face of gaming—how could a face like and a charismatic vibe not attract a following? Company’s began sending Genevieve copies of their games, gambling in the hopes that she’d like it and promote them; even if she hated it, just by her broadcasting her sessions of play would get their games some serious advertisement. By the time she struck out on her own, Gene was making enough money to support herself, and she had the dream job, even getting an invitation to give the much anticipated Era a run during its first public appearance at a tech conference

Name: Olivia Wilde ("Olive")

Occupation: "Maid"; NPC Guide, Help Menu

Skills/Talents: As a main-quest NPC, Olivia has high stats to prevent her from being easily killed by players. Her function in the game is to greet players upon logging in, show a brief optional tutorial, hand out main-line quests, and answer questions. Although she is not a combat NPC, there is a secret code that can be used to challenge her to a duel. It's an Easter egg.

Brief History: Olivia was among the first NPCs created in the Era. She is programmed to be friendly, upbeat, and inviting. Although she does not recall her past spawns, she begins to notice that things are amiss in the Era and that neither she nor the world is exactly what it seems.

Name: Alex Reed

Occupation: Associate at Jay & Jones Gaming and Hardware in the Lakeside shopping mall

Skills/Talents: Alex is a puzzle gamer: he is very detail-oriented and good at figuring things out with limited information, and good at timing-based mechanics. He also has a remarkable memory, particularly for conversation. He can often tell who is speaking even in text communications based on the way the person phrases things.

Brief History: Alex considers himself a casual gamer. Although he has a Youtube account, he mostly plays cheap indie games like pixel horrors, escape rooms, and walking simulators. He is a little shy and not particularly charismatic, and he has about 100 or so subscribers. He isn't very popular, but he likes what he does. Alex is obsessed with horror mysteries, and a good story is what motivates him to solve them. When he was in high school, he loved choose-your-own-adventure books and even wrote a few himself. He admits that he's a better writer than he is a gamer, and he likes to make video reviews of indie games with recommendations for improvements and praise on the best parts. His favorite games to date are a pixel horror called "Night on the Town" and a puzzle-oriented RPG called "Starfall". Although his parents are still in the picture, his mother works abroad and his father works late nights, so he rarely sees them. He doesn't have many friends IRL because he's not very outgoing, but he has a few friends in online chats from previous games.

(Let me know if you need any more detail than that!)
