Awesome. I can totally see them trash talking each other in the middle of a spar while everyone else is just watching the spectacle of two fo the best fighters in the Summer Court just going at it with big grins on their faces.

Yessss! Perfection. Erik's idea of bonding is through fighting (and drinking). Though of the two I think Erik can certainly keep the Fiery Prince grounded and honest. :)

I might be interested in this.. well no, not might... I /AM/ interested in this. Though I do have questions about the Obsidian Blades and Sunburst Guards and what they are, historically and currently. And if the leadership of either is open depending on their background...?

Obsidian Blades - This is the elite warriors, the King's personal Blades are chosen from here, but they also would be essentially the best of the best. They are the specialists, think SEALs, Black Ops, etc. They have more ability to operate outside of rank and file, but their loyalty is absolute and they tend to be completely dedicated to their work and stay near the Summer King.

Sunburst Guard - They are the standing army, so think army, navy, airforce, standard ranks with some specializations, but more rank and file. They also over see the academies that instruct all Summer Court children. They are celebrated, typically a large part of their local communities, can be called to action from home or live in barracks.


Neither have current leaders. :)

I think I would be more interested in the Blades vs the Guard in that sense. More action than academic. So would it be possible to take up the role of the Leader of the Obsidian Blades? And is there anything relevant I should know beyond what was posted as information and introduction?

It is, and outside of the world information overview of Summer, no, there isn't yet. I'm open to seeing what you want to do with it, though I might provide some feedback if it doesn't fit the vision.

Just an FYI for new characters ~

At this time Summer Court has a strong lead, as do warriors, not to alter anyone's current plans! Spring and Autumn could use some folks though, and each do have their own guards, on top of other factions, like historians, artisans, artists, advisers, etc. Winter could use some non guards, perhaps some skilled dreamweavers.

I have read this game, but I lack the inspiration to add anything worthwhile to this story, so I am revealing my interest but mainly to fill any needed gaps. Such as desired plots or roles. If there aren't much needed, then that's about where my interest ends.

Also, let me clarify. I mean if players already approved in the game have any desired roles or plots or any writers planning to join (meant to include them too). I read the list of available occupations per each kingdom, but I was never good at making a character to make one. I have to have some story or purpose driving my character's existence. That purpose is the soul of anything I would create, and I cannot come up with anything.  -_-

Maybe it's just an off day for me. I will give this a few days to brainstorm.

Summer's ruler is still currently an NPC, and will remain so through the first IC season, but then I will make a choice from those who have written something of the Proving challenge to take on the role. Summer's ruler is always a King, though.
