That's the main inspiration fueling this idea. This will not be based on Tales of Vesperia or any tales game for that matter. More like a game that follows the series' themes, and set in a homebrewed world that is inspired by the ones found in the games. No real knowledge of the Tales Series is needed to play in this, though it could certainly help in understanding the mood.

The game will probably be rated NC, and I do plan to have it sexually themed. Character creation rules will follow below, and any side notes will come after that.

-Roll five D6 and drop the lowest two for ability scores. Reroll any ones.
-Starting level-6
-Starting character wealth-20,000 GP plus one personal item of no more then 5,000 gold pieces. Must match concept.
-No classes currently in playtesting. Too clunky
-Looking for a balance of male and female players. Preferably 6, 3 females 3 males. (Yes, I changed it from the four previously listed. :P)
-Use plothooks character sheets.

I hold the right to veto any content you bring to me. SRD is free game for the most part, but run it by me if it's not in the core rules or the APG. Any old 3.5 stuff should be asked about so I can properly convert it. Hope to see some interest soon.

Well some of the inspiration is coming from there too. Symphonia's opening just isn't as appealing to list. Though the Series and the games are just where the setting inspiration and mood are coming from.

The character looks fairly good for it. Let me search up some of the feats. You also need to list down your fighter special abilities, like Armor training. Since you're a two weapon fighter from hell, you might also look into the two weapon fighting archetype of the fighter. Might be more useful too you.

Oh, and list down the magic item that allows for your 'Magic Girl Transformation'. Should be called item of swift arming. Bracers or the like work too, just need something for it. Another note, what page number in the big feat book is heroic destiny on so I can be lazy and not have search?

Oh, and fix the weight of the haversack.  :P

APG or Advanced players guide is free game, and bestiary races will largely depend on the race in question. I enjoy making use of the SRD's monsters as character guidelines, they work pretty well for balancing the party. Like always that will be a case by case though, some monsters just don't work at all for player races.

Currently we seem to have need of a specialist type, and a supporter. Or as some call it, skills and healer.

Aside from the sarcasm, what she she said works great. We already have someone not as familiar as they could be with PF in the game, so I don't see an issue with letting in another. PF is basically an enhanced version of D&D 3.5, so if you know anything about that system you'll have a head start. That would be interesting. Though i come with good news. Here is the OOC along with a more genuine story of the game, along with common lore, cosmology, and enough detail on the setting that everyone should be able to properly entail their characters back stories. :)

Based on your performance in the failed 4th edition game I tried to run, I'd say we'd love to have you.

Well since we just got a healing style pally, all that's for sure left open is specialist. Considering the lack of healing punch, we could use a bard it would seem, you know saying you guys aren't worried about a few traps. >.> Though the proper rogue could likely fix that too.

I've already been pondering letting more people in, as it would fit the theme for tales. If a female applies to counter part you, then I will. Even if interest doesn't come, this is the internet, and system gamers are sometimes more flaky then those who freeform. Someone will likely drop, and you'll be first on my list to contact if they do. ;)

Admittedly I have yet to pin every change down. The potions are easy to fix, they simply become gels. That even works for oils too, if you think about not every gel being quite as solid.

Fortunately for me, I've already replicated The Tales Games on 3.5 once before, just never on pathfinder. Gels, Summons and Sorcerer's ring are the easiest parts to deal with for me. Saying I don't have a lot of rejection to home brewed items, which anyone in this game can read my first post and know I make custom magic items. My issues have always come in the core power outage of the game, like Capacity cores, EXspheres, and Bhodi Blastia. I think I've found a way to do it though. :D

Hey, I'd like to apply for the last female slot if it's still open. I've got an idea for a character that I think would be fun.

An elf from a wilder part of the world using arcane might to amplify her martial ability. Though I'd like to request two spells from the 3.5 spell compendium.

The core/blastia only becomes hard if people want to try and integrate arts into the system. I literally had make all martial classes martial adepts because of this when my group at home wanted to use 'demon fang' and stuff. I'm hoping to avoid that confusion here. As far as summoners go, the summon monster spell really puts some great ideas for how to handle a summon spirit in the game. Obviously their examples don't work, but with slight tweaking it's easy to make a spell/item/whatever that calls such a being from one of the 'otherworlds' I have listed.

I set up the cosmology with this in mind, as the spirits like Rem, Shadow, and Sylph really did play a big part, even if they weren't being summoned. Naturally details about the spirits aren't common knowledge, so only characters with the proper knowledge checks will know much. Putting in that Raine or Jade feel that the tales character's always had, where their knowledge really came into play. That mixed with the fact that the tales characters always had to encounter the spirit for it's blessing before  they could properly summon it helps. Oh, and for a Sheena type we could always use the summoner class. It really kinda fits how she was.

That could work out, I'll need to talk more in depth with you about that as I've yet to fully detail much of the world aside from Kimaria and Arcadia. The spells I'll need to look over, but most things from the spell compendium were pathfinder worthy, so I don't think it will too much of a problem.

Pathfinder is different then 3.5 in some regards, it's been highly streamlined. PM me with the basic levels you want to take, and I'll mainly need to speak with you about what wild area you plan to come from. That won't affect much statistically, so we can begin character building while we work on it. Check This for more specific details on the pathfinder system. Classes have been modified, as well as feats and some of the combat rules.

And that means you're in Ryuka, lets work on a character for you as well. :D

Rogue's looking good. You added in the ability increase for 4th level, right? It looks like you did. Anyhow, you're missing a couple languages, namely all your bonus ones for intelligence. You also haven't calculated your shield bonus to AC from the two weapon defense. Otherwise it looks real good, aside from no actual wands or such to use the use magic device skill, but that can be fixed as we go. ;)

I figured it bad form to have a wand on hand immediately. Though a wand of knock would do wonders or such. Or such. Anyway If I got extra languages I'll reduce skill points so I can put some in craft for some poison making. Fixed her.

Do Rogues get the option for poison use among their talents? Anyhow, move em over to the OOC. Everyone that has been okayed for the most part do that, expect another look over of the stats before we start. I like to glance them over thoroughly one last time before play begins to make sure I haven't screwed up.

I personally felt the Arcane Duelist Bard and Inquisitor have a very tales feel.
