I think I've got enough stuff to keep track of with a large player roster and a lot of guns that I'm going to shoot down stacking homebrew 3.5 stuff on top of a 3.5 class, Shadow.

It's got a lot of stuff that makes the ToB classes more on par with Pathfinder stuff.

How's this look for a ranger best suited for noticing things and casting simple spells?  I'm thinking of taking the dungeon rover archetype.  He won't be as much use in combat, but I think you guys are covered there.  Additionally, I could play a Desert Druid and have access to higher level spells, but that means less health and less skill points, also no favored terrain, so it's a bit of a toss up.  Besides, it's always fun to play a class poorly.

Gotcha.  I see a lot of combat types so far, and only one bard for potential healing spells, so will play a healer of some kind, even if not a strong one.

Sorry, I missed your post Shadow.  I haven't planned out what the deities are at all, so feel free to come up with whatever you like, just run it by me first to make sure it fits the setting (e.g. a god of the forest wouldn't make much sense in a large desert world).

And since it was asked, I've decided that the Rapid Reload feat does change advanced firearms to a free action to reload.

Quick question, does the Vital Strike line work with ranged attacks, or just melee ones? (Can we gain its benefits while using guns to take a single shot that has a massive impact?)

It doesn't specify "melee" anywhere in the feat text and there's no errata on the page anywhere, so yes, it works with ranged attacks.

 Alright, so I'll make a catgirl oracle. Going to go medic/blaster route, probably an oracle of a water goddess of some sort.

I'm doing something similar to that--I plan on taking one more level of Magus, and then Gunslinger after that to round m'self out.

By the way, does anyone know a feat that would let an amateur gunslinger get a level 3 deed?
