Scenario: It's the busiest time of year, there's no doubt of that, but it's also the time of year where hearts soften and there's a sense of magic in the air. Amid all the hustle and bustle it's easy to feel lost in the whirl of events, particularly if someone doesn't want to think too closely about the fact that on Christmas Day she's going to be all alone. For years now that's just how Leah had wanted it regardless, easier than dealing with the awkwardness of being roped into some friend's family for the day, and certainly a better option than going out of town to her own family. So she smiles, laughs, exchanges presents at the office party, goes shopping with friends, bakes cookies and wraps presents all leading up to Christmas Eve.

That night she curled up on the love seat, a cup of coco in hand and music playing low as she read. It was there that she fell asleep, mug drained of coco, pen rolling free of her hand and head slumped against a throw pillow. Most of the night she slept soundly, until a thud on the roof made her stir, and a curse in some foreign language, Russian maybe, had the young woman opening her eyes in the predawn to find that someone had indeed come down her chimney and proven all her doubt about Santa very wrong.

Only the man standing there looked like nothing like the Jolly Old Saint Nick from the stories and songs, rather more akin to something out of a woman's fantasies.

When their eyes meet she just knows this is going to be a very different sort of Christmas morning.

Setting: Very early Christmas morning, living room and apartment with snow coming down and closing them in for the day.

Requirements: Someone to play Santa - I was thinking perhaps instead of it being a saint it's actually been a group of fae or other supernatural beings that work to keep the belief in magic and wonder alive. And of course they happen to be sexy as hell and happy to dally for the morning/day with Leah. Christmas Day is their 'off' day and perhaps she was the last stop on this guys route. Or maybe he's the great grandson or something...
