a new amtrak wars roleplay

This one would be set in the world thought up by patrick Tilley, the Amtrak Wars book series that was six books long.

I have two possible scenarios to play out.

One- I'm a thief who steals a vehicle from an R & D building to escape with something else, activate something in it, and in a flash, I go from being in 2010 to the year 2989, where I would encounter either a Mute patrol, or an Amtrak Federation wagon train.

Two. I'm a recon pilot in the Canadian air force, in the year 2989. Detecting faint radio signals, I'm sent out in a high altitude plane to pintpoint them. My plane is damaged and I have to eject. I would parachute down and either land on the ground, be found by a mute hunting party, or on the flight deck of a Federation Wagon train.

Knowledge of the books would definatley help, but if you know a bit, I can fill in any blanks that you may have.
