  Introduction
Hello there, dear reader!

So, after a rather lengthy, unplanned hiatus, I'm most definitely back and so I use this opportunity to overhaul this trainwreck of a request-thread!

So, first a few words about myself: I'm a student from Germany, have been roleplaying for a few years (though with some interruptions due to personal and mental health reasons)
Fair warning, I'm studying literature, so I can't guarantee that I won't break out in lengthy, mildly pretentious rants about literature...But I try to keep that kind of rambling to a minimum! Aside from that, I'm not a terribly avid consumer of pop-culture, but if you're looking for someone who has watched a wild, eclectic mix of stuff on Netflix, I'm your guy!
Also a little bit of a history-nerd so...that's maybe another warning, I guess. But more the "Spend hours looking up victorian underwear"-kind and less the "Knows every major battle of the American Civil War"-kind.

Now, how about me as a writer?
As should become quite obvious from this thread, I'm pretty versatile. That goes both for the kind of plots I like to write, ranging from grimdark tales of nightmares, psychologcial horror and despair, to light-hearted, fluffy romances or epic, over-the-top adventures, which is all fine by me, though might depend on seasonal shifting moods and current hyperfixations.
That being said, I'm easily excited, so if I hear a compelling prompt, there is a very fair chance, that I can roll with it, so if in doubt, don't hesitate to shoot me your ideas!

As for the character I like to play, the same rule applies. Roleplaying is a wonderful way to be someone else and I always enjoy roles, that are something completely different from my everyday life. I do enjoy playing characters of pretty much any gender and orientation in any kind of pairing. I do not particularly care about my partners IRL-gender and slightly prefer partners who share that sentiment.

I also do have a soft spot for Ensemble-pieces. A cast of main-ish characters, getting tangled up in complicated and messy relationships is a great source of drama and conflicht, a good way to life out that versatile streak I mentioned above and an always welcome excuse to get all those plot-bunnies out of my head >.>'
(As mentioned above, I'm easily excited and kind of a visual thinker, so it takes me roughly 20 minutes on the Finders and Seekers-board here to have inspiration for a whole TV-Show-Cast worth of characters....)
Now, I know that playing multiple characters can be a lot of work and might not be everybodies cup of tea, so I'm usually fine with playing multiple characters against a single protagonist...As long as there is a neat story behind it and not just a basic harem-setup.

Which brings me to the kinks!
I do have a (slightly) more detailed list linked in my signature, but the very short version is: Here too I'm rather flexible aside from some definitive (or at least semi-definitive) 'No's, being Vore, Scat and Pregnancy-related kinks (Pregnancy as a plot-point though is absolutely fine)
I don't really believe in a clear distinction between plot and smut or strict numerical values and ratios. Ideally, both should work harmoniously together. I'm equally ready to bend the plot a little bit in favour of the lewds, as well as throw in some kinks, because they fit neatly into the plot.

And on a final note: I see roleplaying first and foremost as a form of collaborative storytelling. I love to brainstorm, plot, world-build and throw ideas around. So none of the following plot-ideas is written in stone. I'm always happy to get other people's input! I mean, otherwise I could just write short stories, right?

So, following now the things you've been all waiting for: The list of plot-ideas, neatly organized by their relative edginess!

Current Cravings
  • Something Dark
To counter the saccharine sweetness above, how about something darker? Not gonna lie, I do enjoy bad things happening to my characters. Power-imbalance, coercion, corruption, loss of innocence, age-differences, incest…all sorts of relationship that are generally considered not okay.Note: While I do prefer to play the victim in these scenarios, in stories with multiple main-ish characters I’d be willing to switch it up. Not really looking to play against purely submissive partners right now

  • Something Squicky
Tentacles, monstrous creatures, alien parasites, body horror…I’d love a story involving any or all of the above. I’m more looking for a story that features those things, than one purely centered around it. Note: The same caveat as above applies here: I’d very much prefer to be at least partially on the recieving end of the tentacle-y goodness.

Short Prompts for the Impatient

  • Something Game-of-Thrones-esque: Political Intrigue, Drama and Action in a Medieval-inspired low-fantasy setting
  • Eldritch Cyberpunk: A blend of lovecraftian horror and cyberpunk. Tentacles and Neon-Lights, baby!
  • The Unhealthy Relationship between a rebellious AI and their Handler (Cyberpunk/SciFi)
  • A modern-day setting, where the world is ruled by sorcerers, practicing kinky sex-magic (among other things)
  • Something Alt-History: Still somewhat craving a well-made, worldbuilding- and atmosphere-heavy story in a setting where the Axis won WWII (i.e. The Man in the High Castle, but good.)
  • Always down for some lightly pretentious erotic Horror

Proper Plots

The Higher They Rise…
Setting/Genre: Modern Day US/UK? / Political Thriller, Action, Drama
Inspiration: House of Cards, State of Play
Themes: Corruption (Moral and Political), Politics, Rise to Power, Intrigue, Betrayal
Kinks:
Plot:
Discslaimer: Obviously, the story about the rise of a politician (who might not be a terribly nice person), has a high risk of tackling some topics that might hit a little close to home for some people. While the degree, to which real-world issues (or legally distinct stand-ins) feature in it is up for debate, if you’re looking for some light-hearted escapism, this story might not be for you. If you’re down for something cathartic, where we turn the unpleasantries of the real world into something engaging and maybe deal out some carmic justice in the process though, this might be very much the story for you!

Character A (M, somewhere in his 30s) is an ambitious politician, striving for great things and with the charisma, competence and squeaky clean reputation to actually achieve that. If he’s aspiring to power for it’s own sake, or if he truly believes that he has all the right answers to society’s problems is up for debate.

Either way, underneath that well-dressed, charming exterior lies a mind, best described as macchiavellian and a willingness to not only play dirty, but also sacrifice a lot (preferably other people) for the sake of his ambitions.
Aside from that, he is, regardless of the smiling, waving wife he has, a man of great appetites, who isn’t quite satisfied with a single partner (or gender, for that matter), which might not align terribly well with the values he publicly states.

Queue Character B (early 20s, gender up for discussion, but big plus points for a young man or transwoman), a young sex-worker, who ends up becoming A’s go-to provider of kinky fuckery, whenever he needs to vent some steam form his stressful life as a power-hungry politician. Originally, A is as dominant and in-charge in the bedroom as out of it, but, maybe egged on by Character B, who as their very own kind of charme, begins to explore a more switch-y side, realizing that he actually enjoys being on the recieving and now and then…Which annoys him to no end, but leads nonetheless to an unhealthy obsession with Character B, who then gets dragged into his orbit of corruption, politics and intrigue…
Starting from here, I’d like to explore the story of Character A’s rise to power…and his eventual downfall. While centering around the messy relationship between the two main-leads, there is certainly plenty of room (and need) for side-characters to scheme with, against, fuck, get fucked by, get fucked over by or fuck over. Of what nature A and B’s relationship is, if they become a cold-blooded power-couple, of if it’s more a love-hate relationship, where B ends up playing a role in A’s eventual downfall is up for debate.
Pairings: AxA/Multiple Characters preferred

Civilized Beasts
Setting/Genre: Low(-ish?) Medieval Fantasy
Inspiration: A little bit Game of Thrones, a little bit Warhammer Fantasy and a little bit norman history
Themes: Clash of Cultures, Courtly Intrigue, Feudal Politics, Forbidden Love/Lust, Arranged Marriage
Kinks: Pretty open, but some monstrous creatures are a given
Plot:
A human kingdom (I'm imagining your typical, medieval Europe-inspired fantasy kingdom) has gotten itself into a bit of a pickle. Maybe it's a war with it's neighbours that isn't going so well, maybe it's some rebellious nobles...Either way, things are looking dire for the king.

Until a group of strangers shows up. These strangers are distinctly not human and of a more...bestial variety (which kind exactly is open for discussion: Werewolves? Or something akin to Beastmen, Skaven or lizardmen from Warhammer?). While not completely unknown, the people of this kingdom had little contact with them and consider them generally unwashed, savage and uncivilized folks. But they are pretty good fighters.
And their leader would (partially) agree. He thinks that this whole "civilization"-thing that the humans have going is pretty neat and wants a piece of it. So he offers his services: In exchange for his military services he gets a castle, a noble title and some lesser nobles daughter, to become a proper part of the kingdom.
And begrudgingly, the king accepts.

After successfully defeating whatever trouble the kingdom had, our brave beastmen-chief and his people settle down, enjoying the fruits of their labour and try to integrate (more or less) into human society.
From here, there are a few particular viewpoints that spring to mind:
  • (M/F) The leader and his human wife, who slowly learn to love each other, while she assists him in maneuvering the treacherous waters of noble politics, which he is very much not equipped for.
  • (M/M) A tribal warrior, freshly knighted and his human squire, who learn from each other and develop a more intimate relationship (Particularly interesting, if one of their cultures is more open to gay relationships than the other)
  • (M/F or F/F) A tribal shaman and a human sorcereress, exchanging some occult knowledge
(Note: This list is very much an "And" rahter than an "Or"-list and of course I'm open for other ideas!)
Where the plot goes from here is very much open for discussion!

Archived Plots

While I'm not actively looking for these plots right now, feel free to take a look for reference or inspiration

Lewd Sitcom
This one is a rather vague non-idea, but I think in these grim times, we can all use some humour, right?
So how about a sitcom? Throw together a fun cast of whacky characters, let them run into all kinds of shenanigans, spice it up with some lewd stuff, technically unfit for Saturday Evening TV and que the laughtrack!
Of course, this need some serious brainstorming, but if you're up for some light-hearted, kinky fun, it might well be worth the effort.

Steel, Silk and Tentacles(japanese-inspired Fantasy)
(Set in a vaguely japanese inspired fantasy setting)
For centuries, humans have shared this world with an array of strange creatures. Demons, spirits (ranging from helpful to mischievous to outright evil), were-creatures and so on. For the longest time, there was a certain degree of harmony between all these creatures, but since the death of the old emperor, chaos has fallen over the land, human warlords and demonic creatures establishing their own realms and fighting each other on the backs of the common folk. Especially the amorphous, tentacled breed of demonic creature is feared among the human peasantry (especially virgins).
Amidst this chaos, one fateful day a group of monks happens to come across a small bundle of slime and tendrils, left behind by the creature that spawned it. Convinced, that every creature can achieve enlightenment and find the path to virtue, these monks pick up the young tentacle-creature and take it with them to their monastery.
There our tentacled hero grows up to be a pretty decent person. And one day he decides to venture out into the world, armed with a blade, a robe and some useful mantras to fight evil and maybe convert some of his kin to a more rightous path.

What kind of people (and creatures) will he meet on his journeys? Can stay on his virtuous path, or will his nature as a horny demon get the better of him?

Notes: What if your stereotypical tentacle-hentai-monster grew up among buddhist monks? If you've ever asked yourself this question (or find it interesting at least), this might be the story for you^^ This is definetly intendend to go into a more light-hearted, comedic direction. Ideally with some romance, adventure and (of course) some lewd, tentacle-y shenanigans.

Neon-Lit Dreams
Admittedly less a proper plot-idea and more a setting. Despite the fact, that I haven't played Cyberpunk 2077 (and know nothing about it, except that Keanu Reeves is in it, apparently) I've a bit of a craving for something cyperunk-ish. Rainy, neon-lit streets, shady corporations, exploited wage-slaves, decadent CEOs, hackers, augmented thugs and organized crime...all that good stuff.

Given that rather vague idea, I'd be more than open to something episodic. Maybe a series of short vignettes, involving the lives and shenanigans of different characters in that setting? Maybe all tied together by some grand conspiracy, or just the everyday schemes of corrupt politicians and evil megacorps?
Maybe a tale about an ambitious CEO, dragging their family into their intrigues, power-plays and shady deals?

I do have quite a few character-ideas for this one, so if that general setting catches your fancy, feel free to ask!

Modern Day Western
Again, less a plot and more a setting/vibe. A small town, somewhere in the west, quaint and uninteresting....Until a stranger (or someone returning after a lengthy absence) rolls (back) into town, to ruffle some feathers, take revenge for past injustice or just cause some trouble in that small town.
Maybe they gather some misfits and outcasts around them, to bring down the corrupt mayor and his goons?

I do have some vague character-ideas for this as well, but the finer points and the cast are very much open for discussion.

Game of Thrones....in Space!
....Which would technically be Dune, but with more Sex and Violence and less trippy philosophy, right?
In any case, as both a fan of Dune AND Game of Thrones, I'd be very interested in something inspired by both. A strange SciFi-setting, filled with noble houses, futuristic tech, swordmasters and weird religious orders alike, spiced up (Heh!) with the neo-feudal politics and intrigue of not-so-noble nobles, as they fight for power and influence under the rule of an old, decadent and not terribly competent emperor.

Knowledge about either Dune or Game of Thrones is of course not necessary, as I'm looking for an original setting here, but both settings give a good indicator for the direction I'm aiming at.

Of Dwarves and Fae
(Set in a slightly gritty High-Fantasy setting, think Lord of the Rings, but less noble and heroic)
For whatever reason, a group of dwarves has left their native mountains, travelling though the wilderness. Maybe they are out to avenge someone, hunt down raiders, looking for adventure...Or maybe they are less noble, being mercenaries or even on their way to pillage themselves. The world is cruel and tough and a dwarf has to eat, after all.
One night, while resting in one of those gods-forsaken woods, this (un)heroic group of dwarves has a run-in with a fae (In this setting, I'd imagine fae being about the same size as dwarves, maybe a little shorter, much lighter build...Wings are optional :D ) Well, run-in in this case meaning, said fae intended to steal some shinies, but was caught. Having a zero-tolerance policy towards long-ears who want to steal their stuff, but being strangers in this land, the dwarves decide to keep the little thief. She knows these parts, especially the forests, can cook, tend to their injuries and (despite being a little skinny and beard-less for dwarven-standards) is quite pretty. Talents, a bunch of dwarven warriors far from home knows to appreciate...

Notes: So, to get a few things right out of the way: This is a rather gratuitous prompt. I like myself some rough men with impressive beards, some non-con/dub-con and who doesn't enjoy a little reverse harem-plot? The last part might be a little iffy, since playing a harem is always a little...unfair. But I quite enjoy playing multiple characters, so if you like this idea and have a harem-y plot of your own, maybe we can scratch each other backs, so to speak! :)
In terms of where the story could go: I'm not looking for a non-stop-beardy-gangrape-misery-porn. But neither am I looking for a romance between the captured fae and the one, noble young hero (unless there is a REALLY good twist somewhere, otherwise it's just too cliché for my taste...), but apart from that, I'm open for ideas!

Under Iron Wings
Again, less a proper prompt or rp-idea and more a general setting.
So, I've given "The Man in the High Castle", another shot and...Well, the show is nice enough I guess, but the world-building and setting is a bit lack-luster (And the terrible german some actors speak *shudder*).
So let's write a better version! The good old "What if the Nazis won WWII"-prompt offers a lot of opportunity for some grimdark dystopias...
Obviously, this idea would require a fair amount of world-building and plotting beforehand.

Also obviously, given the subject matter, this story could get pretty dark at times and communication would be pretty important, to make sure we stay within each others comfort zones.

Blood is thicker than slime
When YC was pretty young, his parents got a divorce. A pretty ugly divorce. The end result was, that YC stayed with his father in town, while his mother and older sister moved back to the small, rural town her family came from. And this worked out quite okay, at least for a while. There was little contact between the two halves of the family, except for regular letters and a phone call or two a year. YCs father never seemed overtly interested in his daughter and infact had obviously some disdain for the women of the family, although he never explained why, just like he never explained why his marriage went so horribly wrong.
Anyway, YC has just turned 18 and living with his father has become increasingly difficult. Maybe his grades dropped, or he's been hanging out with less shady people, maybe he doesn't get along with his fathers new wife. For whatever reason, YC decides to move to his mother and get a fresh start and a few lengthy phonecalls and discussions with his fahter later, everything is organized. His mother and sister drive down to pick him up and he moves in her families ancestral home in a small, quaint little town (that is definetly not Innsmouth). What follows is some long overdue bonding with his estranged family and, to his surprise, the small town seems to be a quite enjoyable place. Although almost everyone is a regular and enthusiastic church-goer, the town lacks the puritan "All pray and no fun"-mentality a lot of overtly religious communities share.
And now for the Lovecraftian twist: The simple reason for that is, that this small town is in the hands of an eldritch sex cult. A cult that includes the worship of old and dark gods, thinly veiled beneath some christian imagery. It also includes ritualistic encounters with the tentacled emissaries of the gods and an astonishing lack of moral arguments against incest (and restraint in sexual matters in general), which might be an explanation, why YC mother and sister have been so awfully touchy on the way here...
And of course, now, that their long lost brother and son has returned to the family, he is also highly encouraged to join the cult...

Another rather lovecraftian story, I know. I'm looking for someone do play the son in this scenario, while I kind of GM the whole setting, mainly playing mother and sister, although I have no problem with someone else taking that role. As usual, I prefer working out the details with a possible partner^^

SCP-Foundaiton/X-Files-ish-stuff
Some kind of buddy-cop story, but with a supernatural/horror twist.
The two characters are agents for a powerful organisation, tasked with hunting down the supernatural, the weird and otherworldly, either to contain or, if necessary, eliminate it. One is fresh out of basic training, the other one has done this kind of job for a while and got used to the constant dance along the edge of madness (as well as having his memory cleaned up every few weeks, to forget the most gruesome incidents), so he has to teach his new partner, that the world is a much, much weirder and darker place, then he thought.
(Could either be some dark, but slightly comedic buddy-romance and/or including some exotic and hardcore smut, if the new one has to be rescued from lusty tentacle-creatures or eldritch sex-cults every other week^^)

Retro-Futuristic-Advenure-Thingy
The setting for this is sitting around in the back of my head for a while now. Since I have a thing for the 20s and SciFi, why not combine the two?
Imagine a world, where interstellar travel was discovered shortly after World War I. Society has stayed roughly at the state of the mid to late twenties, art-déco-styled luxus liners travel the stars, Royal Britannia rules the Void, smugglers running Scotch to New Washington. All that jazz. Literally.
In that setting, MC could be a quite well known racing pilot, or to be honest, she was. Born and raised on a soviet-russian colony, she joined the Red Space Navy for a while and after that went into space racing. Since she was quite talented and the Soviet Union was always quite eager to present good, socialist heroes (an emancipated woman, working-class upbringing, military career) she recieved ample support from the state, while playing a dangerous game, since the glamorous, burgeoise lifestyle of a star pilot doesn't quite fit the image of the "good socialist heroine". But as long as her performance was good enough and there were more pictures of her, working on her engine or motivating a piloting class than of her with a bottle of champagne and a skimpy dress celebrating her last victory, everything was fine. Until she started to lose too much races or indulging in a little too much decadence...And was forced to take as much of her money and her fastest ship and go into exile. But her decadent lifestyle burned through her savings a little to fast and she was forced to offer her services as pilot (well, mostly as pilot) to a rather shady individual: YC (a Yakuza/Triad leaeder? Mafia? Terrorist?)

The Arkham Wives
I have to admit, this idea is more a product of my kinks than a story dear to my heart^^ (A passing knowledge of Lovecraft would be nice ;) )
Imagine New England in the 50s...Not the really 50s, more like the 50s portrayed on magazine-covers. A newlywed couple just moved into a nice little house in one of the finer suburbs of Arkham, Massachusetts. They are a textbook example of "How should a perfect family be?" He's a hard working guy, she takes care of the house, the dog, socializes with the neighbours. Ah, the neighbours...They seem as perfect as anything else...Except (Shock! Horror!): They are part of an eldritch sex cult! And dead set on turning the young, slightly naive hosewive next door into a fellow worshipper of [insert eldritch abomination]. A slow descend into perversion, madness and black magic ensues.
"Welcome home, darling, I just have a shoggoth in the oven!"
(In this case, I would prefer to play the recruited housewife^^)

An Innsmouth Romance
So, for those who don't know the Story "Shadow over Innsmouth" by H.P. Lovecraft, the basic premise is:
A small fishing village in New England strikes a pact with strange, amphibious frog-fish-people, who worship strange, eldritch gods. In exchange for worship and human sacrifices now and then, the villagers get as much fish and outlandish golden jewelry as they want. After a while, said fish-people decide, they want to live among the humans and mate with them. Since Lovecraft was not overly interested in sexual activities of any kind, his story stops at the slightly xenophibic notion of "Oh noes, they are tainted by fish-blood!"
But I think the idea of a prim and proper, 19th century-New England-Puritan gal being presented with a bunch of horny fish-people, after her family is converted by the local cult has some interesting potential in it.

The Movie of the Century
Europe, in the early 20th century: He is a young film maker, part of the cutting edge avant-garde in this very new and avant-garde medium. While his first movie was not a big hit with the audience, critics praised it for being provocative and pushing the boundaries of art and good taste. His second movie was considered obscene and borderline pornographic and his third attempt behind the camera was cut down mid-production because the producers didn't want to finance a movie that cried "Ban me, I'm obscene, decadent and against all good christian values!"
Understandably, our young filmmaker is pretty miffed. He is an artist through and through and although he understands that some people would consider his work to be too gruesome or pornographic for the average audience, he wants to make art! Push boundaries, freedom of expression, all that jazz.
Surprisingly, an incredibly wealthy individual approaches our struggling artist. Maybe the heiress of old nobility with old money, or the widow of a rich entrepneur... And she offers to pay for new movie, filmed by him on a small island that just happens to be her private property. Our artist agrees, but after a while he finds out, that his benefactor might have darker and more esoteric motives than just allowing an edgy artist to pursue his dreams.

The Heart's Desire
Even among the most learned summoners, warlocks and demonolgists, there are some common misconceptions.
First: 'Incubus' and 'Succubus' are two distinct kinds of demon. In truth, demons don't care about gender at all. Some might prefer this or that pronoun, when addressed in mortal tongues, but the whole thing of these creatures is, that they appear as the perfect, most seductive creature, the summoner could ever desire.
Interestingly, the summoner doesn't have to be aware of these desires at all.
Second: Except for occult booty-calls, Incubi/Succubi are not really usefull. This missconception is partly due to the rather strict sexual morals of certain parts of the world (and among those studying the occult in particular). Like all kinds of demons, Incubi and Succubi can teach an aspiring warlock many fascinating forms of magic. It is true though, that most of them require spells, rituals and components of a rather...sexual nature.

YC is a young, ambitious warlock. He excelled at his studies, rose through the ranks, but, as of late, has hit kind of a brick wall. It seems, he has reached the pinnacle of his power and, while enough to secure his livelihood for the forseeable future, he is absolutely not satisfied with it.
Besides the stalemate in his studies, his personal life as suffered a bit under his overly ambitious nature. Only a few friends (rather acquaintances, really), a rather half-hearted courting of a rich heiress, just enough visits to brothels, pubs and exotic dance-shows as to keep up appearances...
For most of his peers, he's just someone who either a) hides his excesses very well or b) is incredibly boring.
And, as a matter of fact, during his life filled with arcane studies, political intrigueing and hard work, he has never really wasted much thoughts about sex and other fun things. In his eyes, sexual magic was just a flimsy excuse to indulge in decadent nonsense! Certainly nothing he would waste his precious time with!

Now, for one reason or another, our all-work-and-no-fun adept actually does summon on such hellish seductress. Or at least he thinks he's going to summon one.
What he get's instead is the sudden realization of two things:
1. Maybe this whole sex-and-debauchery thing is a worthwile activity after all
2. He might actually be gay.

Notes: So for this one I imagined a sort of victorian-ish fantasy setting. Something with a rather prudeish attude, but maybe less homophobic than the actual victorian age. Details, as usual, are something I'd like to discuss with a partner.
Second important note: This is intended as an M/M-story. I enjoy myself some rp with a larger cast of characters, and among those side-characters I'm definitely open for other pairings, but for the 'main story' there's definitely going to be some very gay demon-sex. So you should be fine with that.
What kind of demon our hero summons specifically, is up for debate though! A slender, rather androgynous demon-boy? Or a hulking, horned hell-daddy? (I love alliterations, what can I say?)

The Prophet
YC is an artist. At least, that's what you tell, if someone asks you. If they inquire further you might admit, that you draw erotic art, although that implies something tastefull and tastefull is not an adjective usually associated with your work. Absolutely not. "Depraved" and "Sick" are far more common. But you have a surprising number of loyal fans and followers on social media (Well, the persona you invented has the fans and followers. The stuff you draw is not something you want to sign with your own name) If you can live from your commissions, patreon and other income sources of the modern artist, or if you have a day-job is open for discussion. Same goes for the question, if you're really into the weird kind of pornography you draw, or if that is just a way to get attention.
MC is just a slightly weird college drop-out, looking for a sense of purpose and direction. In the olden days, she'd most likely traveled to dark and remote corners of the globe, joined some eldritch cult and met her fate at the hands of a righteous inestigator, but the times have changed. Instead, she was always intrigued with the dark and seedy parts of the internet. And there, in the strangest corners of the dark web, between really sick porn-sites and dubious advertisements, she met her eldritch god. The patron deity of the most depraved websites, father of uncanny spam-bots, lurker behind the broken link. What started out as morbid curiosity turned into religious zeal. She found his messages, hidden in the code of websites, in the nonsensical rambling of ad-bots and strange comments on semi-legal forums. And she knew: This was a new god and she was his chosen priestess. And he sent her a task: Find the prophet and found a cult.
Of course it turns out, that YC is the chosen prophet of this new god and MC contacts him and tries to convert him for this new cult. What happens afterward is up for discussion^^

Nerds and Cheerleader - Silly Highschool-Drama
So, this plot is a tad more specific than most here, but it's an idea I had lying around for a while.

MC1 has just moved to a new city (much bigger than the small town she grew up in) and a new school. Since she's always been the popular-cheerleader-type, that's not that big of a deal for her. She has a bit of a secret though: A particular, rather un-cool and nerdy hobby (Not the cool, mainstream-kind of nerdy like videogames or cosplay. Maybe she's really into some obscure trading-card game, or some Warhammer-like tabletop. Something like that) and since teenagers are cruel and in her small home town, everybody knew everybody, she had to keep that mostly to herself. But in a big city, it's much more possible to visit a game store, without being seen by her classmates. Or so she thinks, as she drives to the other side of town, buys some neat stuff and has a little chat with the employee (YC1), who happens to be around her age.
But, on her first day in her new school, she learns with a mild shock, that said guy is now in her class...

Over the next weeks, the two develop a sort of secret friendship (and maybe even a little more?) and MC1 starts to hang out with the local nerd-squad, at least when noone else is watching. Being the new girl is hard enough, even without being associated with "the losers". That, of course might lead to some tensions, if not all of YC's friends are happy about the preppy cheerleader invading their safe space, maybe made worse by some low-key nerd-sexism...and some drama, caused by the groups prior "token girl"(MC2), who always had a crush on YC...

Yeah, it's a silly highschool-drama. Not my usual venue, but I just can't get this set-up out of my head...Help! :D

Lewd and slightly pulpish Space Opera
I'm not a huge fan of Hard SciFi, but I love myself a good old Space Opera, gimme that sense of wonder, baby!^^
But even in a wondrous far flung future with high technology, semi-regular contact with weird and exotic aliens and a universe full of wonders and horrors to discover, some people live a pretty darn boring life. Like our protagonist! (male, female, played by me, you? That's up for debate) They're living a mundane life, working at a mind-killingly boring job, are married to a nice, loving, but similary boring spouse with a slightly below-average sex drive...And nothing remarkable ever happens. Until, one day our protagonist is for [insert reason] visiting one of the huge trading ports and decides: Fuck all that!, grabs some shady folks from a pub, buys an old ship on the cheap and a trading licence to match and sets out into Deep Space to get lost/laid/into trouble where no man before...

Historical
Instead of story ideas, here a list of historical settings I'd be interrested in:
  • Roaring 20s (preferably in Germany, but other places are fine too)
  • Medieval Europe (Like proper, 1200s high medieval...I'm reading a book about medieval literature at the moment :D )
  • Great Northern War (Just a really interesting setting I think)
  • October Revolution/Russian Civil War
  • World War I
  • 1700s Chinese Piracy (Just look it up, these guys were awesome :D )
  • Renaissance Italy (Has anyone seen the series "The Borgias" with Jeremy Irons?^^)
  • Warring States Japan (Speaking of Series, does anyone remember "Shogun"?)

Chien Noir (Noir, Supernatural, Contains Bestiality)
As far as rough, 50s Film Noir-detectives go, Character A turned out pretty wholesome. No drinking problem, no depression, a loving wife (Character B), that greets him with a Martini each evening (Okay, maybe he has a bit of a drinking problem). Everything looks pretty swell so far. Even the cases our private investivator investigates privately are rather mundane. Until one fateful day, he get's tangled up with something more...supernatural. As it turns out, our brave investigator is not really prepared to tackle a demonic cult, that possesses actual magic and is quickly captured. The good news: The cult-leader doesn't kill him. The bad news: He does have a sense of humour and if Character A loves to sniff around places where he's not supposed to, so be it. So our brave detective is turned into a dog, while still retaining his mental capacities and snark.

After a few days on the streets, he manages to make his way back home and his dear wife (gentle, caring soul that she is) of course can't help but take the poor stray with the pretty eyes in.
Lucky for Character A, his wife turns out to have some affinity to the supernatural as well, allowing her at least to communicate with her now canine spouse.
It's clear what they have to do now: Stop the evil cult...and, well...find a way to turn him back into a human.

Now, despite this plot being under the darker category, I'd be more than willing to throw in some humour. Especially in-between the sleuthing, where the two try to resume their married life as best as they can.
Also, I'd be open to play either role here.

Horror Anthology
SaintSicaire's Cabinet of the Sultry, Spooky and Sometimes Pretentious
Anthology-ish, Erotic/Psychological/Supernatural Horror, Atmosphere-Heavy, Various other things

I'm a pretty big fan of horror, be it good old gothic novels, 80s-Shlock or modern, pretentious "Elevated" horror (as much as I hate that term), so here are some prompts and story-concepts to hit that sweet, spooky spot. The finer points and details are of course up for discussion and these are really more inteded as starting points to brainstorm a proper story. As a general rule-of-thumb, I'm looking for equal parts plot, smut and most importantly atmosphere here.

I. The Last Shadows of Summer
Themes:  Coming-of-Age, Smalltown-Horror, Friends-to-Lovers(?), Cosmic(?) Horror
Plot:
Character A and Character B grew up together in a small, quaint and mind-numbingly boring town somewhere. During a particularly feverish summer, these two young people must not only confront the average, mundane horrors of high-school seniors, like classes, part-time jobs, anxiety about the future and the omnipresent boredom of the rural youth, but also something stranger, darker and more terrifying, that suddenly overshadows their hometown.
Inspirations:  The Colour out of Space, Stranger Things, Every other Stephen King story

II. The Queen in Red
Themes:  Ambitious Performers, Cursed Manuscripts, Psychological Horror
Plot:
[Protagonist] has just been accepted into a quite prestigious group of performing artists (a fancy dance academy? A famed theater/dance/ballet-troupe?). And the first performance they're going to take part in is not only arranged by a famous, if a bit eccentric director, but also based on a quite avant-garde, long-lost script...That turns out to be a bit more uncanny than expected. Eager to prove themselves and follow their ambitions, they realize to late, that this performance might serve some dark, eldritch forces...and drive them and the rest of the cast into madness...or worse.
Inspirations:  Black Swan, Suspiria, The King in Yellow

III. This Place Eats People
Themes:  Urban Horror, Unreal Places, Liminal Spaces, Feeling Lost
Plot:
[Protagonist] has just moved from their previous life in a small, quaint little town to the grimey streets of a big city....and not exactly the best part of it. Maybe they are running from their past, maybe they just fell on hard times or came to the Big City to follow their dreams, either way they end up in a run-down apartment-building, surrounded by dirty streets, rats and strangers. As they slowly try to adapt to life in the urban sprawl, they begin to notice something strange going on... Eery, ill-lit alleys that seem to lead nowhere, subway trains that never seem to stop, trenchcoat-wearing figures in the crowd, that don't seem quite human....Despite them starting to doubt their sanity, they feel strangely drawn to this strange side of the city
Inspirations:  Not sure where that came from...I guess a bit Clive Barker and a bit Thomas Ligotti?

IV. A Thing of Beauty
Themes:  Gothic Horror, Cursed Artifacts, Slow Descent into Madness
Plot:
Character A and Character B are a couple of young, recently somewhat wealthy professionals. To give the last touch to their new, very hip and very fancy apartment, they acquire an....odd piece of art. Maybe they bought it at an odd antique-store, maybe it was gifted to them by...someone. In any case, one or both of them begins to develop an unhealthy obsession with this piece...which in turn begins to show a subtle, corrupting influence on them. But do you really question, if that weird sculpture is cursed, if your sex-life suddenly becomes outlandishly good?
Inspirations:  A little bit gothic novel and a little bit Hellraiser (just less gory)

V. Mrs. Cartwritght's Dreams
Themes:  Doctor-Patient-Relationship, Unhealthy Obsession, Eldritch Visions
Plot:
Character A has been visiting their therapist, Character B for a while now, for some form of mental-health issue. And so far, they've been doing pretty good, all things considered. Until A begins to be plagued by strange, unsettling and very vivid dreams. Despite their more rational mindest, B soon has to admit, that these dreams aren't just mundane nightmares. They're messages from some otherworldy entity....but what do they want to tell?
Inspirations:  The Call of Cthulhu and similar lovecraftian horror

VI. Corporate CULTure
Themes:  Modern, Corporate Horror, Toxic Positivity, Manipulation, Cult-Like work environment
Plot:
[Protagonist] has just managed to get a job with a well-known and succesfull tech-company. Their future looks pretty bright, almost as bright as the sleek, white furniture in their office. Among the sudden boost to their career, the great benefits and extremely friendly co-workers, they take a while to realize, that behind all these smiles and bean bag chairs lurks not only a toxic corporate culture, but something even darker than a morally dodgy tech-company...
Inspirations:  I mean...is the idea that Google, Facebook and Twitter are secretly run by eldritch horrors really that unlikely?

VII. The Lurker Behind the Screen
Themes:  Influencer-Culture, Cursed Media, Lovecraft meets Instagram
Plot:
[Protagonist] has made a small career through some sort of online content. Twitch-streams? Youtube-Videos? Something along those lines. Maybe their content already has a bit of a morbid twist, or maybe it's just a one-time gimmick for Halloween, in any case they end up getting their hands on an allegedly cursed video...which they watch to record their reaction. Contrary to their expectation though, this video turns out to be actually otherworldly in nature and now they have to deal with the consequences: By watching the video, they called out for something out there...and it replied.
Inspirations:  "The Ring", obviously and a variety of Creepypastas.

VIII. Heir Apparent
Themes:  Gothic Horror, Cursed(?) Family, High Probability of Incest
Plot:
Coming Soon
Inspirations:

Crime, Cults and Conspiracies
Setting/Genre: Modern Urban Setting with Dark Magic / Supernatural, Horror
Inspiration: (vaguely) World of Darkness, Some assorted Conspiracy Theories
Themes: Dark Forces, Secret Societies, Urban Grit, Cults, Politics, Cosmic Horror
Kinks: Open (Kinky Sex-Magic and Tentacles always appreciated)
Plot:
Unbeknownst to most people, hidden underneath the mundane life of the city, with it’s stock-brokers, cab drivers, cops and gangsters, lies another, darker world. One ruled by secret societies and dark cults, in league with even darker powers, some ancient, some suprisingly new. From the shadows they vie for power and influence and pull the strings…or at least they think they do.
Despite their influence stretching far, wide and deep, most people live their lifes in blissfull ignorance of these hooded figures, meeting in lavish villas and seedy basements, but every now and then, someone might stumble out of the light into their circle. Maybe they’ve been chosen to become their newest member, maybe they stumbled into their schemes by happenstance….or where guided by fate or some other power beyond human understanding.
Either way, now they have to adapt and learn to maneuvre and survive this life of dark rites, clandestine meetings and eldritch conspiracies…
So, this is obviously more a general setting-idea, than a proper plot, but one I’m quite fond of. Obviously, it needs a fair bit of world-building to flesh out the setting, while still keeping a bit of that mysterious atmosphere. But if that general idea and the pitch above sounds like something up your alley, I’d love to hear from you!

Family Matters
Setting/Genre:Cyberpunk / Thriller, Drama
Inspiration: Altered Carbon, Shadowrun, etc.
Themes: Family Drama, Forbidden Passion, Corruption, Corporate Politics
Kinks: Incest kind of a given, otherwise open
Plot:
Many years ago, YC was just another cog in some corporations machinery. One of the legions of faceless middle-management types. But unlike most of them, he had ambitions and wanted to claw his way to the top. So when the time came to decide either for love or his career…he chose his career and left his lover. A decision that has been haunting him ever since.
But at least the sacrifice paid off and now he’s part of the rich and powerful elite…And, unlike most of his peers even managed to keep his decency and moral fibre (mostly) intact.
Unbeknownst to him, his lover had been pregnant and shortly after his departure gave birth to a daughter. During YC’s meteoric rise to the top, MC was left ot mostly fend for herself. But she too managed to carve out a career of her own, albeit a much less legal one, becoming a competent (and almost decently paid) assassin, looking with envy at the rich and powerful who often happen to be both her clients and targets, living in luxury and almost above the law…
While she never knew anything about her father, except that he (logically) had to exist, MC decides to use her contacts to shady hackers and data-brokers to track him down…And against all odds is succesfull.
So one night YC returns home to find his long-lost daughter waiting for him at his apartment….With a gun, a lot of questions and still a bit undecided if she wants to hug him, or shoot him.
In the end, she decides against the latter and the two reconnect, although their relationship is a bit tense to say the least.
YC deeply regrets unknowingly leaving her behind, wants to make up for the past years and blames himself (or his absence) that his daughter turned out to be a slightly sado-masochistic, daddy- and abandonement-issue ridden mess with dodgy morals. He might also have some rather unsavoury feelings towards her, but (at least at first) refuses to think about them, let alone act on them.
MC is on one hand happy to finally meet her father, but also resents him for leaving her and her mother behind. And lacking her father’s strong moral fibre, she is somewhat confused, why he sticks to his notions of honour and decency. She has muche less reservations towards her own, rather carnal feelings towards her father. After all, she’s part of the upper class now and morals are for poor people…

A Thing of Beauty
Setting/Genre: Erotic Gothic Horror
Inspiration: Hellraiser, a whole number of horror short-stories

It’s always Night in Space
Setting/Genre: Dark Fantasy/SciFi
Inspiration: Chronicles of Riddick, Jupiter Ascending and, well…Vampires.
Themes: Fish-out-of-Water, Political Intrigue, Dark Romance?
Kinks: Open
Plot:
Again a more vague setting-idea:
What if the Vampires and Werewolves, we are so familiar from myths and legends with, but can’t find anywhere on Earth are actually aliens? A galaxy-spanning empire of the undead, keeping Earth and hundreds of similar planets isolated as feeding grounds, while indulging in their own century-spanning intrigues, feuds and battles.
Maybe two humans, just going about their normal lives get abducted and dragged into the strange world of space-vampires?

I notice you listed an interest in the middle ages proper, or Italian Renaissance in your historical section.  Both are areas of interest for me, the middle ages in general.  I'm a scadian so that's my weekend hobby, living like the middle ages (but with ac and flushy toilets b/c well yea).  Anyway.. I thought we might be able to discuss getting an rp going.  If you want you can see my story ideas and profile details to get an idea of the range I can play and what I'm into, to see if it meshes with what you're looking for.
I'm back bitches <3 Please read my A/A thread updated 11/19

*sigh* Seems I start every other bump with a sentence like this...But I'm back, with improved communication-skills and a more stable mental health, so unless 2021 has any other world-shaking catastrophies in store, I won't disappear for another year without a word, I promise! ^^'

So, let's give this another try, shall we?

No better way to get back into writing, than a little bit of thread-necromancy, am I right?

I did a little bit of re-organizing for now and a more thorough overhaul of the whole thing will follow soon.
