Eighteen year old Lily Anderson's parents have befriended the strange night owl neighbors and now her family has been invited to a house warming party, Lily would prefer to stay home and see whats good on the old tube rather than spend an evening with the extremely pale and mysterious family next door... her parents however, are having none of that and force her to go.

'Do not be rude to the new neighbor's' they said 'They have a son your age, a very handsome lad, they said he's seen you before. He thinks you are very pretty”

Oh yes, her parents ever present pursuit to find her a decent boyfriend, they obnoxiously traditional and still believed in the old 'spinster' thing, much to Lily's dismay.
To shut them up, Lily agrees to attend the house warming party, unaware that the family now living next door to her are century old vampires and her parents are under a mild hypnosis spell, all the request of the son wishing to lure the cautious Lily into his clutches...
