Posting new group request threads

I inherited an ongoing game from the old GM, who had to take a break.  However, being unable to edit the original post and keep people informed has made things a little difficult.

Is it alright for me to start up a new thread under Group Request, or do I have to continue to just use the old thread?

Is it a group game with its own sub forum already?  If so you can be made GM there which would leave you able to edit posts.  If not you could PM a staff member with the changes that need to be made and we can edit the post for you. 

But the option of starting from scratch is an option too.  It just depends on which would work better.  :-)
