7.1 Surround Sound?

So, got a new PC, with a SoundBlaster X-Fi 7.1 Sound Card. I presently have a Subwoofer+2 Speakers hooked up to it. Decent sound - no complaints really - but I want to optimize the 7.1 Surround sound.

One of my issues is space. I'm hesitant getting surround sound speakers as I would have to wall mount them over my bed and closet, and some how deal with the wires running around the room. So, logically, that points me towards buying a headset. But are there any headsets that come in 7.1 and aren't USB? I'd rather plug it directly into my Sound Card to get the best sound, yet also be able to talk (microphone) without having to get a separate mic.

Any recommendations?
