The game is up. It is in NC Small Group Exotic. We had one player quit because he didn't realize it was a NC game. We need 1 more player character. All the current PCs are female but I will accept a male PC. Much of the OOC chit chat is done via Skype. Please PM me or respond to the thread if interested.

A little note on 50 Fathoms history

  The setting for 50 Fathoms is the water world of Caribdus. It was once a very different world, with several small continents and prosperous cities, towns and villages.

  In the city-state Ograpop three witches was sentenced to death by King Amemnus. They were sentenced to drowning, and as they died, with they dying breath they cursed the king and Caribdus to drown the same way as they do. The water rise, and the citizens of Ograpop killed their own king, believing it will stop the incoming tide. What they really do, is that hey fulfilled the witches curse. As Amemnus died in the water, the witches body became filled with unlife, and they came back as something more powerful: the Sea Hags.

Now, thirteen years later, the world is filled with the minions of the Sea Hags. From their lair in Devil’s Cross comes a horde of bloodthirsty pirates, monsters from the depths and ghost ships manned by their damned crews. Razor wings could descend from the sky to kill unwary sailors. The world is dangerous.

  The natives of Caribdus (Crab-like scurillians, massive grael, lonely doreen, mysterious kraken, curel kehana, and the nigh-human masaquani) are trying their best to adapt to the new world. Meanwhile visitors, called humans arrive to Caribdus from an unknown other world, Earth. It’s rumored to be they destiny to destroy the Sea Hags, and lift their curse. however, currently it seems that most of the visitors are only interested in plunder and piracy.

Right I got 3 for Seventh Sea and 2 for 50 Fathoms.

If we do Seventh  Sea we need to discuss the plot beforehand and which nation the game will take place.

Roughly how much and what level of erotic content are you looking for?   

I can certainly make requests, and I think I've started to get a handle on your enjoymnet zone, but i'm putting it up her for general consumption. 

I'm extra fond of Vodacce for an Elliquiy game, but all of Thea is awesome.  Eisen and USuara are hte least swashbuckly.  Montaigne might be the most.

I would be interested in 7th Sea. More for the swashbuckling than the pirates, as I've been watching the recent BBC Musketeers show. Montaigne would be perfect, but I'd also be interested in a game set in Vodacce or Avalon. :D

Hmm well how would the NC be brought into this cause obviously Musketeers are rather idealistic and honorable obviously them commiting such acts would not be acceptable.So if the nc would be be because of the villians actions then it should be alright.

Well we could go for the 'It is for the greater good!' bit. The villains are possessed by dark magic so the Heroes must tie them down and fuck the daylights out of them to cure them. I seen it done in the manga 'Blade Play', but that was more generic fantasy. Thoughts?

Well our infamy would get rather high and we would become villians rather quickly by the rules.

That is an easy fix. We simply change or ignore any rules that get in the way of the story.

Or Plan B, I run a Light content game.

I might have fun wiht a story where the 'good guys' initiatie a little bit of non con.  It would be a fun change.  The kind of thing 'heroes' can get away with because of the cultural context even if it's not right. 

Normaly when a story like this goes in the NC Section the villains are the ones who initiaite the NC, with heroines (or heroes) interested being their most interesting victims.  Is that something you'd enjoy? 

I could have fun with a light game too.  Either way, it's something to know before you make characters.  if we're doing it the first way, for example, I'd play a guy, and might play dom too some of the payers who wanted girl characters anyway.

No, I said musketeers because I was referring t the books and TV show mentioned and it's Swashbuckling goodness. You may play anyone you want as long as they have a reason to be in Montaige and are a heroic sort.

If you're looking for more players, I have a Eisen Drexel swordsmen I'd like to play. I'd say Soldono, but that school is easily broken, and there is not a very good why he would be outside of Castile with the war going on.

Sadly, I must withdraw this idea. I am currently learning the Earthdawn system and learning the 7th Sea system at the same time would make my head explode. If anyone else wishes to run it, feel free.

I will be running a 50 Fathoms game. I know the system like the back of my hand already. Anyone interested please feel free to chime in. As a house rule sex awards mages Power points on top of the usual method of gaining power points. That should help kick up the hentai factor.

I'd really love to make a character for this as well - I've never participated in a 50 Fathoms game, but love the idea from what I've read so far.  Count me in for whatever you need :).
