Hey guys, ive been thinking this one over. And to put it simply, so many Xmen rpgs are on this forum.
And so many more on the inrternet, I honestly dont know HOW to make this one any differnt.
HOWEVER, how many of you guys follow DC comics?

Beacuse im thinking more and more of a darker Justice League rpg. That is slightly more realistic.
Takeing elements from comics like Batman Robin all Star, The Dark Knight returns/Strikes Again, Justice League Earth 2, Superman all Star,
Justice League year one....

Createing a darker verse.
For example haveing them based in the Watchtower in Metropolis (akin to the Birds of Parey Clocktower)
Im trying to coax a Superman player. Im hopeing my friend Russ will take on Batman and Id like to fill out Dianas Bra as Wonder Woman.
I know a young lady on here plays The Huntress and a classic Green Lantern/Alan Scott player.

SO any intrest in characters such as Hawkman, Black Canary, Martin Manhunter, The Flash, Zatanna, Red Tornado, Aqua-Man, Vixen, Hawkgirl, etc etc...

Ive started out plotting a potential storyline/Villan for the League to face first.
Seriously what are youre thoughts

Acid Lips

it's it possible to make original characters?

Rune

I would be interested in playing Captain Marvel, Mary Marvel, Starfire or Power Girl.

RubySlippers

Catwoman, meowwwww baby.

She was not always a villian she was a heroine to adding in some cat-themed gadgets plus her car the classic Cat-illac get it we should be good to go.

Her primary weapon will still be her whip though, amazing athletic prowess and martial arts but adding in some gadgets I'm sure Batman would set her up if she plays nice with some gadgets from his special tach guy.

Come on hot gal in a tight outfit and holding a whip that can get into anyplace with security has to be a good thing.

Urbanzorro

I'm assuming you're only looking for heroes? Either way I'm interested just want to know what the limits on who I can be are.

REpost From X-men Thread: I'd be in for Olliver Queen(Green Arrow) or Jon Jonnz (John Jones/Martian Manhunter).... Maybe take a few villians off you as well if you need me to (Brainiac or Lex and The Joker Or Ra's Al Ghoul, perhaps.)

LadyDiscord

Oohhh more people.I wouldn't mind playing a villain myself....*ponders*

Laughing Hyena

I'll go with the Flash, the heart of the Justice League.

Acid Lips

I have no idea about the girls of justice league besides hawkgirl and wonderwoman but I wish you luck in this rp ^^

Mr Self Destruct

I'll take on the role of Superman or Batman if you still need them. I like the grittier, more realistic take on the Justice League, but does that extend to powers as well? For example, what if Big Blue's powers are a result of some chemical concoction cooked up by Cadmus that only affects those with Kryptonian DNA? Supes would be a super human junkie, adding to the darker elements of a JLA gone Watchmen style game.  If not, what power level are we talking with the more suped up heroes?

RubySlippers

Well I plan to have Catwoman if that is ok with classic cat themed gadgets and some new toys, but still give her a whip and mastery of various skills anytime the tools are to let her up the game against tougher opponents.

Right now an special cat suit, cat's whiskers (entangling microwire device), intrusion assistance technology devices, a black robotic puma and some other things. Whatever hunky Batman and JL support can make for her.

VoluptuousVixen

Hello all. Im very excited to see the responce from you guys.
My apoloigise for my adsence but ive just moved flats and im waiting for my internet connection to be transferrd.
However im at a friends currently and can check emails via the liberary ore hopefully on my new phone.
All in all I dont want you thinking that ive suddenly lost intrest ertc etc..

So in terms of the story, kinda of a Justice League year one feel.
Except things are going to be much darker and more realistic, characters can die...etc...

I really want input from you guys, what you think works in terms of characteriseation and storylines.
Lady Discord has offerd her hand as GM and I would like to accept. But im getting the impression you all are going to be pitching in.

Im not great at setting out Bio formats but we do need a Structre don`t we?
Does someone have a detailed template we can use?
Im seriously scratching my head over how to upload pics in my post (im still very new to the forum world. Mostly I have been rping in yahoo groups)
So anyone who could help me with that I would be massively greatly appreciated. Just send me a pm if you want.

In terms of rules im pretty open but no one can write for another persons alotted character.
I think to start with we Get one Hero Each,  and also one Villian. Makes it fair that way.

My Villian is still up in the Air But Im thinking Mabye Giganta???

Now for our cast list.....

Im torn between playing Wonder Woman and playing Lois Lane as Superwoman.
I would only have one and im just wondering what you guys think? My version of Diana would be she would be very headstrong and Amazionian, think more Xena then loveing peace Ambassidor. But my Lois would follow and have the visual of Erica Durances Version. What do you guys think?

LadyDiscord, why don`t you Take on Black Canary? She`s such a great character and really is the core of any JLA team?
I could definatly See her been more of a Filed Leader here.

RubySlippers, Catwoman would make a great addition to the team. She is definatly one of DCs most complex characters.

Dark Clown, Either Superman ORE Batman. Although I like the idea of you playing darker elements with whichever.  But you decided who you want to play more.

Laughing Hyena, The Flash is much needed. Which one thou? Jay? Barry? Wally? Bart?

NosCorventius, Martin Manhunter is youres and which ever villian you think is suited to stopping the league.

Rune, Fancey on takeing on Captin Marvel??? SHAZAM!!!

Swedish Steel, has asked me for Green Arrow on several occasions.

So are we good with that as A cast of heroes so far?

And Im defiantly thinking this will be a viloent rpg in terms of the fights and sexual materieal.
Honestly these beautiful demi gods will be up for some sexual fun won`t they???

RubySlippers

Villian

The Contessa

http://www.rapsheet.co.uk/rapsheetmain/Character.asp?UniqueId=1153

I picture her as an all classy exotic foreign woman formerly married to Lex Luther and is a classic witch imbued by a fragment of the Omega Force by Darkseid a long time ago and is his agent on Earth. In her case she uses it with her powerful mastery of sorcery to make her a force to be reckoned with plus thousands of years of life experience and vast wealth and human resources in her own cult The Ninth Pit whose agents are sorcerors, use magical devices or are magical beings constructed or otherwise.

I'd be interested in playing either, Black Adam, Vandal Savage, Brainiac, or The Joker as a villain. I'd probably play them with a lot of finesse compared to simple brute strength/tactics.  As far as heroes I'd be up for Booster Gold, or Captain Atom.

VoluptuousVixen

Hello Guys.

So Far our "League" is looking like This.

Im Takeing Wonder Woman. And Yes she can Fly but Also has an attitude problem.
My villianess will be Cheeta who will be a complete viloent pyschopath.

Kevben, has requested Cyborge and im delighted to have him.
Urbanzorro, will either by Boster Gold ore Captain Atom.
Ruby Slippers, is takeing Catwoman and The Contessa.
Dark Clown, Either Superman ORE Batman.
Laughing Hyena, The Flash.
NosCorventius, Martin Manhunter.
Swedish Steel, Green Arrow.
Lady Discord, Black Canary?

Storyline Wise im thinking the League has broken up but a recent Crisis forges them back together and even recruits new members and gain a new
Base of operations, what do you think???

Rachel. xxx

RubySlippers

And the Contessa will be countering with the Global Crime League (GCL) if she has her way bringing together the worlds greatest masters of crime and villiany. I think for a base of operations how about someplace lawless and suitable the criminals can control like Haiti. It may be a loose alliance and all but no reason we can't all work together to help out other members my character has no problems supporting others if it helps her out.

All members will get a magical item of teleportation with the emblem on it I was thinking, a twisted version of the JLA.

Mr Self Destruct

I'll go ahead and take on the spandex role of Big Blue himself for this one, though I'm not quite certain on a villain as of yet.

PearlRuby

I'm quite tempted to take on the role of Hawkgirl. Who can resist a feisty woman with a huge mace?  ;D

I love the idea of the Justice League having separated but forced back together over the new crisis. Makes me wonder why they broke up in the first place and what kind of tensions are still there.

Hmm... but I'm not so sure about a villain yet. Might even go for playing a male villain if I can find one that tickles my fancy. Or would it help more that we at least had some official arch enemies of the Justice League members? Surely we need a Lex Luther if we have a Superman? And a Joker if we have a Batman? That sort of thing.

OH Darn.

Rubyslippers, I'll arm wrestle you for Catwoman.... *chuckles*

What other female heroines/villainesses are there? Hawkgirl appeals but PearlRuby seems to have requested her...

I could do Poison Ivy?

Please check out my latest A/A post.
I would rather watch a movie then have dinner than have dinner then watch a movie!

RubySlippers

Posion Ivy cool she is always a lesbian leaning villian anyway so would be fun.

VoluptuousVixen

Welcome to Chrysta and  PearlRuby. Posion Ivey and Hawkgirl are youres respectfully.
Yes I was allways a fan of the Harley/Ivey realeationship and lets not forgette when Ivey kissed Supergirl a few years back.
DC has the largest group of homosexual and bi sexual number of characters in comics. Marvel needs to start "Outing" I mean come on...Who does Iceman think he`s kidding? Haha.

In terms of heroines they have Batgirl, Grace, Black Lightenings Daugher (Graces GF.) and The Question.
Do any of those possible femmes strike youre fancey Chrysta? Anmd off Corse we have yet to have one of the sexiest Heriones of the dc universe claimed yet...
Zatanna!!!

Still our villians will be mixing as well as our heroes so people don`t HAVE to claim two characters the option is there.
As for the leagues Break up...im thinking the death of a team-mate will be the biggest thing to seperate them. And getting them back together will be less fun.

Now does anyone want to help me create a bio foarm that we all should use?

With the name "Dark Clown" and that avatar, I would have thought your choice of villain should be obvious?

Yeah, okay I'll go with Thunder, aka Anissa Pierce...

Mr Self Destruct

Okay, you got me there lol. I guess the Joker it is!

Since we don't have a Batman, what if he were the hero that was killed? Darkseid invaded Earth, perhaps, and managed to defeat the League, only to have Batman narrowly save the day, but making the ultimate sacrifice in the end? Maybe he even killed Darkseid in the process, which caused the armies of Apokolips to disband, breaking down under the chaos of the sudden death of their lord and the power vacuum left after his death?

VoluptuousVixen

Hey all. Kalob Is takeing on The Batman instead of Cyborge and Deathstroke as his Villian. So We now have the big 3.
As for Dark Clowns Suggestion Yes an League Member should have been killed and im thinking Hal Gordan/Green Lantern is the hero in question.
He was killed six months ago by Darkseid who also fell that day.

As for the universe itself lets take whatever elements we like from the Comics, Cartoons, Films and Tv Shows to create OUR universe.
But id like to say that teams like the Justice Society, Teen Titans and the Outsiders are active.
Deaths such as Jason Todds Robin have occured. Babs Gordan is now The Oracle. Supergirl Has arrived on Earth, etc etc...
But lets help shape our gritter, sexier DC universe.

The Watchtower station was Destroyed as was the Hall of Justice Museam...this new team will need a new Base.
Im going to put up the Bio outlines now, thanx to Dark Clown and Kalbos help with these.

Darkseid is immortal with the Omega Spark even Superman could barely hold him off one and one, plus my character is if the story is to work for her gifted with a spark of the Omega Force and Darkseid's Earthly servant. Add to that he was around in the year 3400 or so. I was thinking maybe the Green Lantern fell to my character likely she wanted to study the lanterns and ring to force a similar sort of power for some of her agents, without all the overt power but still a cabal of lanterns for her to call on. The lanterns and ring well secured in a pocket dimension so no new Green Lantern could be selected by the ring.

Mr Self Destruct

Darkseid has been beaten by Superman before.  With Darkseid, he represents the ultimate threat to Earth, and to the Man of Steel.  Superman would fight him to a standstill, but whether he won or lost, he would make sure that Darkseid was defeated before he surrendered.  He did the same thing with Doomsday.

In the recently released animated film with the emergence of the new Supergirl, the battle between Supes and Darkseid ended when Superman unleashed everything he had on Darkseid.  He didn't hold back for fear of destroying Metropolis in the fight.  He went all out, and Darkseid was summarily tossed back into the boomtube to Apokolips.

Maybe he was trapped in the Source Wall?

RubySlippers

Well his son and former Justice League Member (twice) Orion a decent one was prophecied to rule in his fathers place so likely he is on the march to take over Apokolips, likely bogging down other elements of the former military. I was thinking The Contessa might have moved to take the Omega Force from Darkseid duing the battle maybe being a little successful the reason he lost. If she had a choice she would have sent him to the big black hole in the middle of our galaxy maybe tampering with his boomtube generator or using magic to alter the codes.

Mr Self Destruct

My Character Profiles:

Superhero/villain: Superman
Real Name: Kal-El (Clark Kent)
Age: 32
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual (Dominant)
Base of Operations: N/A (formerly Metropolis)
Powers: Flight, Super Strength & Speed, Enhanced Hearing, X-ray Vision, Heat Vision
Weaknesses: Kryptonite, vulnerability to magic, red sunlight radiation

History: He was once Metropolis' golden boy, defender of truth, justice, and the American way.  That all changed, however, when Hal was killed by Darkseid.  The invasion of Apokolips was a trying time, with the League constantly intervening to stop the Shock Troops and the forces of the Furies.  It was decided that the League needed to expand it's roster, and other heroes of varying abilities were brought in to help combat the threat.  But when Hal died, Superman's loss of control frightened him terribly.  He defeated Darkseid, resulting in him being interred into the Source Wall, but the loss of his own control over his formidable powers and the death of his friend Hal was too much.  Superman went into seclusion, disappearing altogether for many months.

Activity: Superman fled Earth altogether, leaving behind everything he knew.  He distanced himself from his own mortality, and in doing so, fully embraced his Kryptonian heritage.  He regretted the end of his Clark Kent persona and everything that went with it (his job at the Daily Planet, his relationship with Lois Lane, his closeness with his adopted mother Martha Kent), but in distancing himself from that life, he was able to fully devote himself to being Superman.  He vowed that no other hero would die defending the Earth that was now his home, resulting in a darker, more determined Man of Steel.

Known Enemies: Lex Luthor, Darkseid, Brainiac, Metallo

Appearance:

Equipment: N/A

_________________________________________

Superhero/villain: The Joker
Real Name: N/A
Age: 33
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual (Dominant)
Base of Operations: Gotham City
Powers: Criminal Sociopath with Homicidal Tendencies
Weaknesses: His physical body isn't built for long term combat. He can barely last more than five minutes against the Batman.

History: For as long as he can remember, he's been the Joker, the thorn in Batman's side and the bane of Gotham City.  His crime sprees have been both grandiose and chaotic in scheme and planning, and has resulted in the mass murder of many Gothamites over the years.  He has a standing order to be returned to Arkham Asylum upon arrest, and each time, the security of his cell block is doubled, though it doesn't seem to help, at least not long term.  There was a time when he was little more than a two bit thug, but after the accident that scarred his physical features and his sanity, anything in his mind of his old self has been fractured and replaced by the maniacal madness of the Clown Prince of Crime.

Activity: When the League disbanded, things only worsened for the Joker.  It gave the Batman more time to patrol Gotham, and by dint of his increased activity, more time to disrupt and defeat the Joker's plans.  He's been laying low after his recent escape from Arkham, and has taken on a sociopathic sidekick in the form of Harley Quinn, the former Harleen Quinzel, a one time psychiatrist at Arkham that took an unhealthy and entirely unprofessional interest in him.  She was easy to manipulate, however, and once her internal defenses were broken, she was easy to bend to his will.

Known Enemies: The Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Huntress, Oracle

Appearance:

Equipment: Toxin-spewing corsage (toxin is a nerve agent, resulting in temporary paralysis), spring launched daggers in the toe of each shoe, brass knuckles for each hand, .45 caliber handgun hidden on person, diamond topped walking stick (thin bladed short sword concealed in handle), vials of Joker smile toxin concealed on person, garrote wire in brim of fedora, cufflinks (one is a small tracking device – receiver built into belt buckle, the other is a small piece of C4 explosive – detonator is stem of cufflink)

VoluptuousVixen

I like the idea of Darkside haveing "Killed" Green Lantern as far as the League were concerd.
Ive been thinking and thinking about my Villian and Ive decided to take on "Mad Harriot" from Darksides Furies.
And Il be temping Granny Goodness. My idea is that after the fall of Darkside that Apokolips was sealed off, along with the New Gods (who will hopefully bring a new order to Apokolips.)

Granny now slightly depowerd is trapped on Earth along with her faveourite fury Harriot.
It would be fitting that her powers have Decreased and she is plotting her revenge on the Justice League as well as wanting to create a new Apokolpis on Earth. I can see her forgeing an allieance with The Contessa very easily.

As for Harriot she now appears as a human female in order to matain her disguise on Earth. However she still has all the skills she learned from years fighting for her lord Darkside, she too wants Blood in vengence for her Slain Sisters the Furies.

Chrystal

Ugh... as much fun as this looks, I'm afraid I am going to be totally out of my depth. If you want cannon characters, then I can't oblige. And I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about...

Sorry, but I think you would be better off without me.

Please check out my latest A/A post.

VoluptuousVixen

Superhero/villain: Wonder Woman
Real Name: Diana Prince
Age: 30
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual (Dominant)
Base of Operations: N/A (formerly New York City)
Powers: Flight, Super Strength & Speed.
Weaknesses: Magic and pysch attacks. Diana is physically the strongest woman on the planet. She can witstand much however The Gods ALLWAYS design
a flaw and she can be killed by those who created her.

History:

Diana was the daughter of Queen Hippolyta, the first child born on Paradise Island in the three thousand year history that the immortal Amazons lived there. The Amazons had been created around 1200 B.C. when the Greek goddesses drew forth the souls of all women who had been murdered by men.

Hippolyta was instructed to mold some clay from the shores of Paradise Island into the form of a baby girl. Six members of the Greek Pantheon then bonded the soul to the clay, giving it life. Each of the six also granted Diana a gift: Demeter, great strength; Athena, wisdom and courage; Artemis, a hunter's heart and a communion with animals; Aphrodite, beauty and a loving heart; Hestia, sisterhood with fire; Hermes, speed and the power of flight. Diana grew up surrounded by a legion of sisters and mothers. When she was a young woman, the gods decreed that the Amazons must send an emissary into Man's World. Queen Hippolyta ordered a contest to be held, but forbade Diana from participating. Diana disobeyed and did so anyway in disguise, easily winning the contest and being named the Amazon's champion. She was given a uniform fashioned from the standard of someone who had visited the island a few decades earlier.

Wonder Woman did not keep her identity a secret, and she was not at first a "super-heroine". Indeed, her character was in many ways that of a babe in the woods, innocent and without guile. Diana spoke only Themyscirian, a combination of classical Greek and Turkish. She had to learn English when she arrived in America, rather than knowing the language intuitively. Nonetheless, Diana was trained as a warrior and had no compunction against using deadly force when called for. Diana often dealt with war, injustice, inequality, death, and conflicts involving the Olympian Gods.

Before embarking on her mission, Diana was given the Lasso of Truth, forged by Hephaestus himself. She was also given the Sandals of Mercury, which allowed her to instantly traverse great distances in seconds. Diana's mission was one of peace, but part of it initially involved defeating a mad plot by Ares to destroy the world. Diana ventured into the world by starting at Boston. There she met a Harvard professor, Dr. Julia Kapatelis, and her daughter, Vanessa Kapatelis, as well as the Air Force Officers Steve Trevor and Etta Candy. Diana stayed with Julia and Vanessa and over the course of a month or two, Diana learned to speak English. She was attacked at their home by Decay, one of Ares' minions, and after a battle that spilled out into the streets of Boston she first came to the public's eye and was given the name Wonder Woman. Upon discovering Ares' plan (one that involved creating a nuclear holocaust), Diana managed to foil it, battling through his sons Phobos and Deimos before finally convincing him the error of his ways with the Lasso. After defeating the God of War, Diana returned home for healing at the hands of Poseidon himself.
Not long after she met other heroes, Superman, The Batman and the Justice League.

She also gathered the attention of Barbara Minerva, the Cheetah, who desired to take the Lasso of Truth from Diana. She lied to Wonder Woman about having found the lost Girdle of Antiope to get close to her, but after touching the Lasso her truth was made clear. Diana was frustrated and angry over her naive trust of Minerva. That same night, Barbara decided to take it by force and attacked as the Cheetah. Diana managed to fight her off, and decided it was time to return home again. Over the last decade she has trained two Wonder Girls, Lead the Justice League and defended the entire universe.
But tradgerdy struck when her team-mate Green Lantern (Hall Jordan) was recently killed after a battel with Darkside. The League was starting to crumble and this was the final straw. With the Watchtower destroyed they disbanded. Superman left Earth and The Batman dedicated to fighting only in Gotham.
The JSA offerd her the chance to join them but Diana declined saying she was "Done" with teams.

Activity: Diana has undergone a new "Look" and moved from her New York penthouse and stopped all her work as a UN ambassidor and given up her secret identity. She fights with less compassion for her foes. She has severd all times with Paridise island and her mother as well as her sisters "Cassie" and "Donna". She has killed before (Maxwell lord when revenging her friend Blue Beetle) and after the sudden demise of Hal she may again.

Known Enemies: Ares The God of War, Cheetah, Circe

Hey guys been looking over Our roster and I'm seeing a space that needs to be filled more so than any others. Magic/Occult so I'm goingto drop Martain Manhunter as we have a detective in batman and plenty of power with supes and instead play Jason Blood/Etrigan The Demon for my hero. As for Villian I'm going to be taking on Lex for this. I'll put together Sheets for both later on today.

#36
Superhero/villain: The Contessa
Real Name: Contessa Erica Alexandra del Portenza
Age: 4242
Sexual Orientation: Lesbian (dominant)
Base of Operations: Tower of High Magic, Plane of Yig
Powers: Immortal, Magic (is likely one of the most powerful current Homo Magi on Earth but is contested for that title by others), Genetics and Science (holds a few Ph.Ds and degrees in Law and Medicine), Master Jack-of-All-Trades (cannot best a superhero or a true expert in any skill but is definately a well versed student in anything not otherwise noted), Forge Magic Items, Make Pacts Granting Magic to Humans (limited to one endowment say becoming invisible at will and cannot be something to powerful can't make someone a major villian proper), Vast Wealth, Endowed with Godhood (akin to the New Gods with similar advantages along with a Spark of the Omega Force 10% of its power).
Weaknesses: Bound by The Source not to use her powers to conquer any world on the material planes, cannot kill major champions of any world (the pact didn't mention other things though). Another weakness is simple she sees herself as a protector of the Earth she may do it in twisted ways and may also act oddly but her heart is in that direction so is most likely to side with a hero if there is a greater threat, like Darseids invasion.

History: Actually born in ancient times she was one of the rare first Homo Magi and started honing her arts early including finding the Immortality Key a magic to make her immortal and ageless that she later removed from knowledge even by her at the request of The Source. She actually never saw herself as a villian she protected humans but ruling many as a god figure (in the old myths crops up as a minor female goddess sometimes good or evil. That changed with Atlantis she had a major war with the early Homo Magi upstarts believing only the few elite should be blesses with it her offspring that led to the downfall of the civilization. Later she embraced science as another magic and used her growing cult PRIME ARCANUS to suppress science from mortals through the mortal authorities while in secret advancing it herself. Its at some point she met her husband Lex Luthor she liked him, wanted a child having a daughter Catherine del Portenza - Luthor and tries to annex his organization to hers. Things fell apart and they divorced but she still is fond of the gentleman and imbued her daughter with long life who is now a medical doctor with Doctors Without Borders she can live for a few centuries aging slowly not she is an adult. Her daughter is also a mage using her arts for healing and protection but is neutral. She met Darkseid in battle making a pact with The Source to keep 10% of the Omega Force and granting of Godhood for draining this force off Darkseid into the Lantern of the Omega Force made by the Source to store the rest of the power and its stored in the Source Wall itself shielded by it. It came with a price to prevent another Darkseid she had to agree not to conquer any world or worlds, this includes killing major defenders of them. Still she is a villian and seeks power using Earth as a base to take over non-world assets, gaining knowledge and power and backing other villians to attain glory spitfully since she can't control say the Earth she can allow others to do so. And she likes to test humanity with fickle games of hers rewarding those that do well and killing others.

Activity: Laying low and getting her cult back in order, recruiting to it and keeping her eye open for opportunity.

Known Enemies: Doctor Fate, The Demon (can't kill him but considers him a meddler)

Appearance without costume: A 40 year old Sophia Loren dressed well either in dressy casual wear to nice dresses and business suits with the ring of her cult on and medallion as its leader.

Costume: Mask, war robes, rod and overall very ancient look.

Equipment: Has lots of minor magic items but has four big items of power. Mask of Sight (her mask/helmet has not eye spaces it lets her see beyond think of this as Daredevil's Radar Sense but can see through walls, see slighting into the future akin to a powerful sixth sense for danger). Amulet of the High Sorceress (her amulet lets her locate any minion of hers and summon them to her often using this to bring in mutant genti magically imbued mostrosities to do battle for her). Box of Wonders (a chest that makes anything places inside magical with a modest effect good or bad as she wishes - she often uses this to give a follower a gift or to send something into the world that is malicious for her amusement but its ability other than a good or bad magical effect is random). ACME Catalog (this is a fun item it will allow the holder once to order anything that they wish within guidelines of The Source for 34 hours exactly the book then teleports away to some other location wanting to be found, the effect always has a drawback - example a child finds it and wants to be the strongest boy in the world it is grasnted usually some item they must use but might get psychotic rage so they lose control - its protected from all detection/tracking and can change its appearance to any book - note it works once per person or being using it and cannot be used to harm her interests or break her obligation to The Source) - Think the Loony Toons Classic Company mixed with the Sears Catalogs on the early 20th Century.

Mutant Monstrosities & Other Servants: These are usually mutated clones of minor villians with strong points, infused by genetic alterations and magic, imbued by a pact with her and raised to be utterly loyal to her all have four traits- insanity but directing with it one magical effect, high resistance to damage (phsyical, mental), superhuman strength and one random power from the host villian if they could fly it can fly. They also look utterly monstrous. She has other servants mages, people with magical items and above the norm talents, scientists and ordinary folks.

Yeah, hello there. Yes, I've been talked into giving Green Arrow a shot, a great and truly flawed character, my kind of hero really. As for my villain I would really, really like to give Black Adam a try, I imagine that would be a nice way to blow of some steam since I am also constantly pissed about the state of the world. A good thing I've never developed any super powers. ;)

  • Healing factor: Martians can heal themselves from virtually any wound but this only works outside of Earth's atmosphere, because the oxygen levels on Earth are too rich for their systems to fully fuction
  • Telepathy: Martians can read minds, enter them mentally, and can communicate with living beings by connecting their minds to them. • Martian Vision: Martians can generate energy from their eyes. Martians can then emit this energy from their eyes and use it in a manner that is similar to Kryptonian heat vision.
Weaknesses: Fire and extreme amounts of UV radiation exposure can strip Martians of their abilities and force them to revert back to their natural state.
Appearance without costume:(True Form)

Costumes:(As John Jones)

(As Megan Morse/M'gann M'orzz)

(As The Martian Manhunter)

History: After watching his world die due to a combination of war and the H’ronmeers Curse, a bioengineered weaponized disease that causes Martians to spontaneously combust when they use their innate telepathic abilities, J’onn was transported through time and space by the miscalculated beam of  Dr. Saul Erdels communications transmitter. The machine exploded from the feedback caused by the Martians arrival and Sent a electromagnetic pulse out that caused Dr. Erdels pacemaker to malfunction, causing a heart attack and killing the only man capable of sending J’onn back to his own time and world.
Stranded J’onn used his shape shifting and former military skills to blend in with the earthlings, eventually gaining a position with Metropolis PD first in Homicide and later as a member of the Special Crimes Unit, the branch that handles Meta-human crimes, He has gone undercover for them many times working, to infiltrate criminal organizations like VULTURE, or to uncover corrupt officials like those running The Department of Extranormal Operations. By far however the largest bit of undercover deception was that of keeping his duel life a secret from everyone except his JLA teammates. That was until the day of The Event. The combination of fire, screams, and psychic backlash from the thousand….Millions?!…dying around him paralyzed J’onn with horror as waves of vivid memories thought long buried broke free. The Emotional anguish distracted the Martian causing him to show his true self. One minute John Jones fought bravely alongside his comrades and the next a seven and a half foot tall alien with glowing red eyes elongated head, and thin wispy body is pulling off the officers shredded uniform. Despite finally pulling himself together and helping to defeat Darkseid, galvanized by the death of his close friend Hal Jordan, J’onn former life was ruined.

Activity: Revealed to be the Martian Manhunter, Jon was forced to retire from the MPD entirely. He has subsequently reapplied under a new identity, That of Megan Morse, to the MPD and currently is a junior officer for the department. J’onn is overly careful about his behavior as a result of his previous experience and the obvious mistrust that still lingers three years after The Event.
Known Enemies: Ma'alefa'ak, Darkseid, Despero, Mister V/Faceless, VULTURE, Sinestro, Tor, Kanto, The Human Flame, Lex Luthor, Brainiac, Doomsday, Mongul, and Blackstar.

Appearance without costume:

Costume: Suit:

Battlesuit:

History: The childhood friend and ally of Clark Kent, Lex long ago realized supermans true identity and origins. At first Lex started pushing the envelope of what was legal to force confrontations, hoping his “friend” would end the charade and confess his “secret.” but, as time went on he realized that Clark had decided he was unworthy of the trust the last son of Krypton gave so easily to others. The resulting feelings of betrayal and jealousy have turned to deep hatred and loathing of the “Man of Steel.” Lex has become obsessed with exposing the Fraud that is Superman and “destroying the alien menace.” These feelings have been even more deeply ingrained due to the events of the last year. First, Brainiac infected and took over Lex, mind and body, in an attempt to use his influence, intelligence, and resources to wipe earth clean of biological life forms. An attempt that left Lex infected with nanobots. Nanobots that he can’t remove without dieing. The arrival of Darkseid a brief six months latter and his short but decidedly shameful enslavement to Granny Goodness only cemented his loathing for all things Extraterrestrial.

Superhero/villain: Booster Gold
Real Name: Michael Jon Carter
Age: 25
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual(Sometimes Flexible); Sexually Dominant
Base of Operations: Metropolis
Powers: Booster Gold had no special powers of his own, but he has a powersuit that enables him to fly, and gives him super-strength. He is quick-witted and inventive. His wrist gauntlets generate energy blasts that ranged from stun-level power to destructive energy that could vaporize tempered steel, the form of energy they give off can be set to either the Ultraviolet, Visible-Light, or Infra-red spectrum. In addition to this he has his assistant/sidekick Skeets.

Weaknesses: Without his suit, and future tech he is just an average man, who normally bites of more than he can chew.

History:
Booster was born Michael Jon Carter, an average man to an average family in the 25th century even as a child he always wished for something more. To be more than just average. First he wanted to be a movie star, then a musician, then finally in high school and college  he set his sights on a sports star....Sadly his hopes(and ego) far outstripped his abilities and as he finished his schooling he was forced to face the fact that he had nothing to look forward to but a mundane existence.

But the desire for more never left him, never weakened, if anything it grew stronger until it was all he could do not to run off and do something stupid simply to keep from being 'normal.'  Finally on the eve of his 24th birthday Michael, already a bit drunk, decided he'd had enough. Enough of being average, enough of his small apartment, enough of his dead end job, enough of everything that he was in his own time. And so that very night he broke into a bank. Hell bent on changing his life. Which he did....just not in the manner he expected. Before he could even begin to escape the authorities had arrived. Even though he managed to make a run for it in a stolen car he had already been identified and was being pursued.

The chase lasted 10 minutes before Michael accidentally crashed his vehicle into the glass display wall of a museum. The next half an hour was a blur of running, hiding, gunshots, and narrow escapes. During which he managed to commandeer a security robot, and grab several weapons and tools that were in different displays. The last item he grabbed was a time machine which he used to escape, along with his ill gotten goods, into the 21st century.

Upon arrival in our time, Booster used a credit card he had also taken from the museum to set himself up until he could make a living on his own. He adopted the name Jesus Alvarez on the credit card for a short time telling himself that he would pay him back as soon as he could. After he found a place to stay he quickly made use of his stolen technology from the future and Skeets' knowledge of events to come in order to create a successful company he called Goldstar Incorporated as a holding company for himself in the heart of Metropolis.

Currently wanted for thievery, assault, unauthorized time travel, and unauthorized altering of the time stream. If Booster were to ever return to the 25th century he would most likely be locked away for the rest of his life. He has strategically left out these details from the story that he has told everyone in the 21st century.

Activity: (Assuming it's ok with the GM/Dark Clown and fits in with our time line) Before the invasion Booster was at best a minor hero. Now that the invasion has passed he has been doing his best to establish a name for himself. Though a terrible blow for many the sudden departure of Superman has actually played right into Booster's plans and hopes. Using Metropolis's need for a hero given the absence of the Man of Steel, Booster has done his best to supplant Superman in the hearts and minds of Metropolites, and hopefully Americans in general.

Known Enemies: The Royal Flush Gang, Sinestro
Appearance without costume:

Costume:

Equipment:
Booster Gold:See Powers
Skeets: Countless headlines of major events yet to come, Quantum processor allowing sentient-like thought. Small defensive weapon of the same kind as those in Booster's Gauntlets.

**I'm thinking he could be somewhat similar to Magog from Kingdom Come in that he feels this is his time rather than Superman's if that doesn't fit I'll be happy to change it ;D**

Superhero/villain: Black Adam
Real Name: Teth-Adam
Age: True Age Unknown, Appears mid to late 20's/Early to mid 30's
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual, Dominant, Sadistic
Base of Operations: Formerly  Kahndaq, currently hidden.
Powers:
The powers of Shazam
Shu: Stamina; Nigh-invulnerable, Adam does not need to eat, sleep, or breathe and can survive unaided in space. He is extremely resistant to magical attack, and effectively tireless.
Heru: Speed; Black Adam can fly, move, and fight in an atmosphere and in space at extremly fast speeds on par with that of Captain Marvel and Superman.
Amon: Strength; Provides Adam with truly incredible strength. In a strength class with Superman and Captain Marvel. On one occasion, He was successfully able to hold his own against an assemblage of The Justice League, Justice Society, and The Teen Titans.
Zehuti: Wisdom; Access to godly levels of knowledge, of both the magical and mundane. Can simply ‘know’ appropriate knowledge for a situation, and be counseled as to the best course of action. Black Adam’s senses are phenomenally sharp as well, though nowhere near the level of Superman’s.
Aton: Power; Aton provides the magic lightning that transforms Adam, and Adam can use the lightning bolt as a weapon by dodging it and allowing it to strike an opponent. The power of Aton enables Adam’s flight, enhances his physical abilities and invulnerability, and gives him godly resistance against magical attacks.
Mehen: Courage; Mehen provides a godly degree of inner strength, including superhuman resistance to psychic manipulation, or any form of mind control.
Weaknesses: If struck by the lightning he calls down Adam turns into a normal man and is as vulnerable as any normal man until he turns back into Black Adam, Adam is from a time when men and women spoke their word and meant it as such he tends to expect others to operate on a level of honor that simply is very rare in this day and age as such, he can be tricked more easily than others. He has a notoriously volatile temper, which is made even more so by his own powers and has been known to lose control when angered too much.
History:
Black Adam is the first recipient of the powers of Shazam. Born in the ancient Egyptian empire to Pharaoh Ramses the Second in the neighboring  land of Kahndaq, Black Adam‘s mortal name was Adam .The wizard Shazam was at the time serving as high priest to Ramses II, and seeking a successor to his godly powers, became impressed with the virtue and martial heroism displayed by Adam. Having determined to make Adam his successor, Shazam’s intentions are altered by the intervention of his half-demonic daughter Blaze. Blaze strikes a bargain with the god Set, so that when Adam speaks the word “Shazam”, he becomes Teth-Adam ( Mighty Adam), the avatar not of the wizard’s deific patrons, but of the Egyptian gods Shu, Heru, Amon, Zehuti, Aton and Mehen.

Over his many years of existence Adam has seen his original wife and family murdered, he has watched his friends slowly age and die. He has witnessed the world slowly turn from a place of honor and discipline to one of foolish mercy. And through it all Black Adam has remained a proud and stern champion from another, more brutal age. Who does not hesitate to follow his own concepts of justice, whether or not they are in conflict with those of others. Black Adam takes a proactive, and decidedly bloody, approach to fighting what he sees as injustice.

More recently Adam was once again able to find love, this time in the form of a mortal woman brought to him by human slavers during the time at which he ruled  Kahndaq. After killing said slavers Adam offered the woman, Adrianna, sanctuary. Over time both Adrianna was able to slowly change Adam from a man of rage and violence to someone more fitting with the modern image of a hero. And Adam fell in love with Adrianna, using his power and knowledge to bestow upon her the powers of Isis.

But this was not to be. Working for the Chinese government, a group of geniuses know as the science squad created Four all powerful beings named  The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. These beings, with the aid of the Bialyan government succeeded in attacking Adam's new family and killing Isis and her brother Osiris. Adam's lover's last dying words to him were to seek vengeance for their destroyed family. An enraged Adam who's powers are now also bolstered by those of Isis managed to three of the Horsemen, with Death fleeing. Black Adam tracked Death to Bialya, whose government has participated in this attack on the Black Marvels. And tortured Death until he revealed all he knew of the plot, then in a fit of Luciferian rage, killed every citizen of Bialya.

Black Adam's quest for revenge too him to China where he singlehandedly slayed the most powerful superhumans in China before finally being stopped by combined the efforts of multiple Green Lantern's, Firestorm, Supergirl, th Martian Manhunter, the Marvel family, the Teen Titans, the JSA, and many others. Acting in concert with other powerful magic-users, Captain Marvel was able to transform Adam to his mortal form and change Adam's 'Word' so that Adam could not regain his link to the Egyptian pantheon that empowers him. Captain Marvel claimed it was a word Adam would never guess.

As a result, during the invasion Black Adam was absent entirely, as he was still attempting to discover his 'Word.' Several days after the invasion was repulsed Black Adam finally discovered his 'Word' after wandering through Captain Marvel's home town and simply repeating every single word he read there until he came across 'Chocolate Egg Cream' which was what Captain Marvel changed the 'Word' to.
Activity: Since regaining his powers Black Adam has gone into hiding, having been ousted from his ruler ship of Kahndaq, and denied his full revenge he still fumes over the events which befell his second family and plots how best to extract vengeance on all those he believes to be responsible. He has also through great effort managed to change his 'Word' back to Shazam.
Known Enemies: The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Dr Sivana, The Marvel Family(At times)

Mr Self Destruct

That works for me.  I've always liked Booster Gold, and have thought that if he'd take his superhero career more seriously, he could be a very effective hero.  The darker, more serious tone would be a good play on his character, though I can see Superman's return not thrilling him very much.

Urbanzorro

That's my idea. In Kingdom Come Superman and Magog are about a hair away from fighting each other for quite a good portion of the story.  I figure the same kind of tension would be fun/spice up the story even more than it already is ;D.

Hello,

I was wondering if I would be able to join in on this as well?

For my hero I was thinking Connor Hawke ?  even if there is a green arrow already would that be okay? If not maybe Animal Man?

For my villain I was thinking maybe Sun Girl or perhaps Professor Zoom?

Antioch

Have you received your Green Lantern yet? If not I would likely play him for you :).....

PearlRuby

I'll be posting Hawkgirl's bio soon enough. Still undecided about my villain though >.< A bit torn between Harley Quinn and The Riddler actually.

Who is officially going to be GMing this RP?

@Antioch: No one has claimed him, but I think loislanekent decided that the Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) is dead which sparks off the seperation of the JL. So you'd have to pick one of the others ^.^

Not really the ring and its powers with the lantern would just go to a new champion, likely the former Green Lantern would have issued the formal last command to the ring to find a worthy replacement. So there could be a new inexperienced Green Lantern.

Antioch

Well see that was what I was thinking kind of waiting to see what loislanekent thinks.

Urbanzorro

Alternately the Guardians could dispatch a new Lantern from another area of space. Perhaps someone meaner/stricter/more aggressive in response to the fact that the 'nice guy' lantern was killed

Well the ring could go back to them assuming the Green Lantern died before he could give such a final command we are talking Darkseid here not a minor opponent then it would go to someone training or favored to take the ring.

Urbanzorro

Well I simply meant that given the high-risk status of Earth the Guardians might wish to send a veteran lantern rather than allow who ever Hal's ring found to 'learn the ropes' on Earth.

I'm just saying usually the ring chose its replacement from worthy beings on the world its on and they had to learn by doing maybe with a Guardian giving a few pointers if needed.

Actually if you look at the few times the Ring has been passed on it follows a simple Standard Operating Protocol. 1. find the nearest inhabited planet. 2. Chose a champion that fits the Spectrum's qualifications. In the case of the Green Lanterns it is a creature who possesses great will power. 3. Secure Champion and neutralize any immediate threat. 4. Relocate newly recruited Lantern to OA for Basic Training.

While it is possible for a Guardian to interfer with this process he would have had to be present at the prior Lanterns death to do so and gathered the ring personally. Otherwise the rings SOP takes over and the new Lantern will have just returned from OA recently, a honorary replacement member of JLA as per their treaty with OA. Most of the returning members will not be happy about the replacement but they can't stop him from joining. They couldn't stop Kyle Reiner no matter how they felt about someone stealing Hals costume and strutting around the place and they won't be able to stop your Character either Urban no matter who he/she is.

Comes done to choice really. Do you want a back story where you are the Guardians appointed Champion after the greatest of all Lanterns failed? or do you prefer to be the new guy with a really big mask to fill?

VoluptuousVixen

Sorry for my long two week absence. My internet conection was down. As ive moved home. And I couldn`t get any adult websights on my phone. So After much thought I decided on takeing on Cheeta as my villianess. MAKES sense as she`s my heroines greatest foe.
so we now have an Injustice League to fight our Justice League. Luthor, Joker, Black Adam, the contessa etc etc...

TALKTOMEGUY: we do have a Green Arrow but If you really want Connor Hawk then you can have him. But I think powers wise we could do with an Animal Man type on the team. The more metta humans the better. If this group is a success I may do a Teen Titans spin off so you could allways reserve Connor for if and when that gets off the ground.

BIOS people. And thank you to those of you who have posted them. Waiting on Batman, Hawkgirl and the Flash.
Antitoch has sparked debat over requesitng a GREEN LANTERN. Ive said if he really wants Hal he can have him.
But waht aobut Kyle, Jon ore Guy? All are great characters.

Im GM of the game.

we might also be getting  a ORACLE join our ranks, ive had a PM about good old Babs.
Im going to submitt Cheetas Bio later today and then im pretty ready to get posting with it.
Its defo good to be back!!!

Ummmm I Goggled how the heck does he have two Power Rings as I can see it no Lantern ever could have more than one the power frequencies for the two rings are opposite one is Pure Will (Green) and the other Rage (red) together you would be far to powerful and not overly heroic. If you the Green Lantern shouldn't you just have the Green Lantern Ring. The other would always seek out a worthy user a person so honorable to have the Green energy ring would never get a Red one and vice versa.

You know I thought the same thing when reading back up on him to make sure I was correct.

RubySlippers

You know ALL the Lantern Corps and the Guardians would be all over your buttay, and the Black Lantersn you want to mess with undead heroes in general. If Black Lanntern kills a hero they return as undead with same powers plus.

You want to go there?

If my villian is around she is going to another parallel universe maybe Superman Commie one, the Red Sun seems ok.

Do more research.

As much as I would still very much love to be part of this RP, my work load together with the range of RPs I'm already struggling to post to on a daily basis, means I really shouldn't take on any more  :-\

Supervillian: Artemis
Real Name: Artemis of Bana-Mighdall
Age: Three thousand years old (looks 25)
Sexual Orientation: Straight (Virgin)
Base of Operations: Metropolis
Powers: Artemis has peak human level strength, speed and reflexes. She is a master hand-to-hand fighter combining many assimilated fighting techniques and a weapons expert in both the use and manufacturing of weapons (favoring bow and arrows, but ranging from blades to automatic weapons).
Artemis has eternal youth which was provided by the witch Circe. She possesses knowledge of low-level sorceries learned in the Underworld.
Weaknesses: This form of immortality does not provide resistance from harm or even death

Appearance:

History:
Artemis was born an Amazon as a member of the Egyptian tribe of Bana-Mighdall, who migrated from Greece to various European and Middle Eastern countries before finally settling in Egypt. Three thousand years ago, the two Amazon Queens (Hippolyta and Antiope) split the Amazon nation in two. Hippolyta's tribe traveled to the isolated island of Themyscira (otherwise known as Paradise Island) to live immortal lives in order to protect the doorway to the Underworld called Doom's Doorway. Antiope's tribe was never given immortality and were forced to mate with common men in order to guarantee their tribe's survival over the centuries. As they had renounced their Olympian gods once the two Queens parted ways, they eventually began to assimilate various religions and goddesses from the many lands they traveled to. Some of those included the goddesses Isis, Mammitu, Bast, and Neith. It was in Egypt that they finally built the city of Bana-Mighdall, which in their language translates to "The Temple of Women". Thanking the Amazons for their worship, one of their new goddesses created a powerfully consistent sandstorm to surround and protect their city from any outsiders who could not be trusted, or "ariandas". The Bana-Mighdallian Amazons eventually began an uneasy trade with outside cities in order to create commerce. They would exchange custom-made weapons and their warrior skills for goods and slaves for breeding.

Over the centuries the Bana-Mighdallian weapons and services became above par and were in much demand. This way of living continued until the late 20th century. It was into this period that Artemis was born. As a child, Artemis was raised in poverty among her tribe, running naked through barren hills and often hungry.

By the time she was 10 years old she was trained to carry 50 lbs. packs silently across night battlefields. At one point in her teens she briefly left her people to find a new life in Man's World, allying with Ra's al Ghul as he launched a plan to decimate the world with stolen nuclear missiles. After being defeated by Batman, Artemis eventually turned against Ra's after leading him to Themyscira, realising that she could not cause the deaths of her own people. She returned home after being inspired by a brief meeting with Superman, opting to return to a life of relative tranquility.
Eventually Wonder Woman found their city while searching for the villain The Cheetah, who had stolen her golden Lasso of Truth. As the Bana-Mighdallian's original Themyscirian language had changed over time to incorporate Middle Eastern dialects, Diana had a hard time communicating with the newly-found Amazons. Eventually a battle took place between her and the Bana-Mighdallian's chief warrior or Shim'Tar. Soon an enraged Olympian god Hermes, who was in love with Diana, took vengeance on the desert Amazons for attacking his beloved, and the city of Bana-Mighdall was destroyed. Homeless, the remaining Amazons eventually took up with the witch Circe who was a nemesis of Wonder Woman. It was agreed that in exchange for their servitude during the events of the War of the Gods Circe would grant them immortality and a new home to call their own. It was decided that since the Themyscirian princess was the initial cause of their city being destroyed, they would take over her Amazon city instead. Though only fourteen years of age at this time, Artemis spoke before the Queen and Council to protest the planned attack as she felt that Amazons must not war against each other. Her cries were ignored and the attack was undertaken.

Amazons unitedDuring the attack on Themyscira, the witch Circe showed her true colors and teleported the island into a dimension of demons in order for both tribes to be destroyed. The two tribes put aside their rivalry temporarily and fought the demons in order to ensure the Amazon survival. Though only a few months passed in the real world, the time the Amazons spent in the demon dimension lasted ten years. Discovering that Circe had made her island home disappear, Wonder Woman forced her to return it to its rightful place.  Once this was done Wonder Woman learned about the invasion, the demon war, and the Amazon truce. She eventually met Artemis who was now in her mid-20s. The two got off to a rocky start but Diana could see that Artemis' heart was true. Due to being in the demon dimension, Queen Hippolyta began to see visions of the future. One of those visions included Wonder Woman dying. Keeping this to herself, she called for a new Contest for the title of Wonder Woman, claiming that she felt that Diana had proven inadequate in the role despite Diana's insistence that the world outside was more complicated than they had imagined. Initially excluding the new Amazons, Queen Hippolyta submitted to a vote on the whole to include them at Diana's behest. Through some mystical managing on Hippolyta's part, Artemis eventually won the Contest and became the new Wonder Woman.Hippolyta then declared to both tribes that she considered Artemis her own daughter for winning the Contest, and during her entire tenure as Wonder Woman Artemis wore Diana's tiara. As gifts to aid her in her new mission, Artemis was given several magical objects. The Gauntlet of Atlas which increased its wearer's strength by ten times, The Sandals of Hermes which gave the gift of speed and flight, and the golden Lasso of Truth which forced anyone tied by it to speak only the truth.

Although Artemis tried diligently to distinguish herself from her predecessor in both New York City and Boston, this proved to be rather hard to do. Her approach to various situations were often seen as more violent than beneficial. Because of this, and due to Man's World's respect of Diana, Artemis often would receive the cold shoulder from those she tried to help, extending even to her brief time in the Justice League.[15] Superman once commented to Diana that Batman refused to allow Artemis to sit in Diana's chair during Justice League meetings.] Diana's twin sister Donna Troy even showed resentment toward Artemis carrying the Wonder Woman title, which caused their first meeting to escalate into a heated argument.[

After Artemis's death as Wonder Woman, her soul was sent to a form of hell. While in the underworld Artemis became a figurative bride to one of the thirteen ruling Princes of Hell named Dalkriig-Hath.] As his bride Artemis became part of Dalkriig-Hath's legion of demonic warriors.[20] Eventually Artemis was able to kill Dalkriig-Hath and regain access to the world of the living. Wanting to separate herself from her former title as Wonder Woman, Artemis used her skills learned in Tartarus to her advantage and joined a group of demon hunting heroes called the Hellenders. Based in Waverly, Pennsylvania she was assigned the codename Javelin, which she quickly rejected for the name Requiem. Artemis developed a romantic interest in fellow Hellender Sure-Shot, a master of arsenal and projection weapons. This interest was dropped though when she discovered that Sure-Shot's perceived self-assuredness was brought on by psychotropic drugs which were meant to keep various Hellender members fearless while battling the likes of demons and ghouls.

She also befriended a woman by the name of Henrietta Jessup, who went by the codename Sojourner. Though Sojourner did not have any warrior skills to speak of, Artemis stood by her friend and tutored her as a novice Amazon. For unknown reasons Artemis left the Hellenders and aided Diana in Gateway City as a fellow crime fighter.[ She also became close friends with Cassie Sandsmark. Artemis' previous teacher/mentor relationship with Sojourner was later expanded as Wonder Woman asked Artemis to take Cassie on as a new pupil. It was with Artemis' Amazon training lessons that Cassie was able to hone her skills in becoming the new Wonder Girl. Later still, Artemis' teacher/mentor resume would expand even more to even include the combat training of Supergirl.] It was during the initial meeting with Supergirl that Artemis would gain her revenge against Batman for his hostile attitude towards her when she attempted to join the Justice League. Artemis defeated Batman in hand-to-hand combat, but was eventually subdued with one of Batman's tranquilizer darts.

The underworld demon Belyllioth, who served as master over some of the Myrmidon demons, later contacted Artemis to inform her of an unrest in Tartarus. With the death of the demon Dalkriig-Hath, the remaining twelve princes of Hell were battling for dominion over the dead demon's realm. As Dalkriig-Hath's widow, Artemis was, by rights, next in line to rule his region of Hades. Artemis ended the demonic war by presenting herself before the twelve demon rulers to officially be granted her former husband's station. After the blessing ceremony was given, Artemis revealed that the blessing was actually given to Belyllioth, who was magically disguised in Artemis's form. Angered by her deception, the twelve princes of hell vowed vengeance against Artemis upon her return to Hades. Fortunately for Artemis, her devoted friend Belyllioth (now officially one of the thirteen rulers of Tartarus) has sworn her allegiance and protection to the Amazon for eternity.

Weapons: Artemis uses her trusty bow and arrow.

we haven't started yet so while not the Dm on this I'd say yes. Grab the character sheet and put something together.

Powergirl is open once again for anyone interested. I would rather give that rather big name character to someone who is more familiar with the setting. I unfortunately am quite familiar with a very few specific 'comic lines'. All of which are Marvel I fear.

I may try to come in again as a smaller character. I -do- however really wish DC had more ethnically diverse heroines!

Super Villian-Anti Hero: Deathstroke The Terminator
Real Name: Slade Wilson
Age: Rumored to be around 35 but still not confirmed
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Base of Operations: Where ever he needs to be
Powers:

Enhanced Mind: Able to utilize 9 times more than a human's brain capacity for information storing and sorting, his mind is practically a computer built for strategy and problem solving. He can work out any sort of battle or attack ahead of time and predict an enemies movements based on what they have displayed so far, showing that his memory borders on almost total recall. He is also ingenious in devising solutions against superior aspects of an opponent, can observe and exploit, and can calculate distance, time, and speed at lightning-fast speeds. His sense of time is also superb, bordering on perfection.

Enhanced Reflexes: His reflexes are so instantaneous, that he is able to dodge point-blank gunfire and out manuver almost any opponent, no matter how well trained.

Enhanced Strength: His entire muscular system was hardened and strengthened, making him "as strong as 10 men."

Enhanced Stamina: He is able to exert himself at peak capacity longer than any human can ever hope to.

Enhanced Speed: He is able to run and move at speeds of up to 30 mph.

Enhanced Senses: His senses have been highly augmented as well, making him able to see, hear, smell, feel, and taste things better than an ordinary human.

Regenerative Healing Factor: His healing factor has also been enhanced to superhuman levels, making him able to recover from almost any injury, such as gunshots, stab wounds, broken bones, bruises, and many more can heal much faster than normal. He was once stabbed clean through the chest and this didn't do anything except slow him down and cause him pain.

    Enhanced Immunity: Due to his healing factor, he is immune to most forms of diseases, infections, and foreign chemicals.

    Retard Aging: Also due to his healing factor, he ages much slower than any normal human, appearing much younger than he actually is.

Martial and Military Training: Deathstroke is also a highly formidable opponent in physical combat to the point where he can and has defeated Batman in solo combat. Batman has only managed to at best subdue Deathstroke briefly with the aid of others or by taking him off guard in the midst of a large battle. Deathstroke is also skilled in the use of many weapons including guns, rifles, and swords, which are usually among his current weapons of choice.

Access to High Tech Equipment: Who knows where he gets it :O

Weakness: In the end is just human, albeit a very very powerful one

History:

At the age of 16, a young Slade Wilson enlisted in the United States Army and volunteered for a special black ops program that was the US Army's metahuman super soldier program. Serving as an elite assassin for Uncle Sam for a while, Slade finally became a mercenary after he defied his orders and rescued his friend who had been sent on a suicide mission by their commanding officer. Keeping his secret career as an assassin hidden from his family, Slade's secret was finally revealed to his wife who was a expert combat instructor for the army and one of the people who trained him. His son Joseph used as leverage to get the Assassin to reveal who hired him, Slade refused  and killed everyone in the room, not before someone slashed Joseph's throat. Rushing his son to the hospital after the fight, his wife is angered about the near death of their son and draws a pistol, firing it on an unexpecting, unprepared slade: his reflexes barely helping him move out of the way of the fatal shot, though the bullet destroyed his right eye, the last thing his wife ever gave him before disappearing: yet despite the permanent loss, it doesn't seem to affect the assassin at all.

Slade's first battle with Super Heroes were with the original teen titans, when his other son Grant was enhanced physically to become a super villian known as The Ravager, giving a mission to kill or capture the titans. When the genetic modifications turned out to be fatal to grant, Slade took up the contract, becoming known for the first time as the villian known as Deathstroke.  His first mission to raid STAR Labs, he captured the Promethium element and then sold it as the ultimate weapon. Then kidnapping the teen titans, he placed them in the path of a new promethium prototype bomb. Though the titans escaped barely and Deathstroke chose to flee, he was wounded by The Changeling, which created the deep,lasting hate between the two of them.

Deathstroke next appeared in New York, holding members of the UN hostage in order to lure the Titans into confronting him. Terra, a new ally of the Titans, and Changeling were the only ones available to answer the call. Terra knocked the changeling  out in an effort to prove herself worthy of being a Titan,seeking to fight Deathstroke single-handedly. Slade escaped as the other Titans arrived, but by then Terra had proven herself and the team offered her membership. Later that night, it was revealed that both Terra and Deathstroke faked the fight in a plot to have Terra infiltrate the team. It was also revealed that both shared an intimate relationship, despite Terra being fifteen years old.

Trusting Terra eventually, the Titans revealed their secret identities to her. Using the information, Slade tracked down every member of the Titans and started capturing them one by one. Ambushing Dick Grayson, who had just retired the Robin costume last, the man barely escaped. Dick Grayson, taking the mantle of Nightwing to save his friends was joined by Slade's ex wife and his now grown son Jason, his ex wife revealing that Terra was a traitor. The three of them attacked Slade and during the battle used his guilt for what happened to his family to get him to hesitate and allow his son Jason to possess his body, using it to betray Terra. Feeling betrayed by Deathstroke, Terra committed suicide and Slade was taken into custody by the police. Put on trail for his crimes, the trail was sabotaged by the titan changeling who wanted revenge for Terra's death and to kill Slade himself. Agreeing to a duel to the death between them, Slade showed up defenseless and out of costume to the fight. Unable to kill a defenseless man, Changeling was craftily talked down by Slade, the titan allowing Slade to leave peacefully to escape to Africa.

Over the next couple of years, Deathstroke returned to deal with the Titans, but not to defeat them but to protect them. Helping them defeat a dangerous plague, Deathstroke was hired to find missing Titans who were disappearing rapidly, much like Deathstroke had captured them all. Tracking leads with his old enemy Nightwing,it is revealed that his own son, a teen titan, had been corrupted by some evil spirits and was doing there bidding by bringing them hosts the live inside aka the members of the Titans. During the transfer process, Jericho's true self gained control briefly, begging his father to kill him. To spare his son any more pain and save the remaining Titans, Slade was forced to drive a sword through Jericho's heart, seemingly killing him. This act still haunts him to this day, though Jericho later turned out to have survived death by transferring his mind into his father's body seconds before dying.

Afterward, Slade continued his life as a mercenary, but also acted as an occasional hero, aiding the Titans or acting on his own to help others, when the Team Titans arrived in the 20th Century to assassinate Donna Troy before she could give birth to her son, who in their timeline had grown up into the tyrannical despot, Lord Chaos. Slade also met Pat Trayce, a tough former cop who would become the new costumed Vigilante. Pat Trayce and Slade quickly became lovers, and began a tumultuous on-off relationship.

After Slade thwarted an assassination attempt on the President of the United States, he was subsequently framed for the murder of a U.S. Senator. The man responsible had taken on the identity of the Ravager and was hunting down Slade's friends and loved ones. Eventually, with the help of the Titans and Sarge Steel, Slade was able to prove his innocence and the true culprit.Meanwhile, Slade's relationship with his estranged wife, Adeline, took a tragic turn as Slade underwent a process to gain the ability of physical regeneration, allowing him to survive any wound so long as his brain is intact (this power is limited, as Slade cannot regenerate his lost eye because that injury happened before he gained his healing factor). After gaining this power, Slade was forced to give his wife a blood transfusion to save her life, resulting in her gaining a similar healing factor which manifested itself as a form of immortality. This alteration of her DNA drove Adeline insane, shaming Deathstroke into going into a semi-retirement state.

Deathstroke returned and  teamed up with the Titans to face his wife Adeline, who in her insane state had revived the H.I.V.E. and sought to rid the world of all superhumans, blaming them for Jericho's death. During the battle, interrupted by Vandal Savage and a band of villains that he had organized from recent Titans battles, Adeline's throat was slit. In a brief return of sanity, she begged Slade to kill her, requesting him to reunite her with "my... our children... " because her version of the healing factor would not heal the wound, but only allow her to live in spite of it. Deathstroke refused, but Starfire shocked her teammates and Deathstroke by using her starbolt blast to disintegrate her completely, per Adeline's wishes. This was a turning point, as Deathstroke renounced all ties with the Titans as a result of this act of mercy on Starfire's part.

It was then revealed that Jericho managed to transfer his consciousness into his father in the instant before his death. Taking control of his father, Jericho forced Deathstroke to murder his longtime butler, mentor, and companion Wintergreen. He then launched a series of attacks against the current Teen Titans, most notably shattering Impulse's knee with a shotgun blast, before leaving his father's body. Deathstroke has since manipulated his one remaining child, Rose Wilson, into the mercenary business as the new Ravager, in order to find and kill Jericho, using a specially designed serum to heighten her hostility and push her over the edge. Unfortunately, the process also resulted in her being driven at least partially insane, to the extent that she cut out her own left eye in an attempt to prove to her father that she was just like him.

Recently,Deathstroke was enlisted as a bodyguard for Doctor Light, who was being pursued by the Justice League of America as a suspect in the murder of Sue Dibny. In the ensuing battle, Deathstroke nearly beat the team of Elongated Man, the Flash (Wally West), Zatanna, Hawkman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, the Atom, and Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner). He systematically took out every member except for Rayner, whom he had the potential to disable through trying to usurp his ring's energies using his own formidable willpower. Fortunately, before the outcome of this conflict with Rayner ended, Green Arrow stuck an arrow in Deathstroke's right eye socket, enraging him. Slade went ballistic, which derailed his pre-planned strategy and began to beat Green Arrow, but was stopped when the majority of the team tackled Deathstroke to the ground. Dr. Light used his powers to allow the two to escape. Later, Deathstroke confronts Green Arrow on a rooftop. Arrow sees his reflection in the windows of a nearby building, but when he turns to confront Slade, Deathstroke is gone. Instead, Green Arrow finds Slade's cowl and a note stuck to the wall by the very arrow he stabbed in Slade's eye socket. The note reads, "This is yours - We're not done."

The Bio format:

Superhero/villain: The Batman

Real Name: Bruce Wayne

Age: mid thirties

Sexual Orientation: Hetro

Base of Operations: Gotham. Always Gotham.

Powers: Skilled detective and martial artist, but essentially human.

Weaknesses: A very well hidden kind heart

History: After seeing his parents shot dead as a child, bruce Wayne trained himself to human limits to be the worlds most feared crimefighter. In recent years, as age catches up with him slightly, he has resorted to increasingly tactical methods of sorting out his enemies, becoming almost more like a 'mega villain' but working for the good guys. He knows he can't take on the likes of superman in hand to hand combat without special equipment - that's OK - he has time and a fortune. Driven, unforgiving, relentless. Other heros do not always approve of his methods, the way he manipulates other people, his tendancy to keep information to himself.

Activity: No different from how he has always been. The Batman never changes.

Known Enemies: (How long have you got?) The main one is the Joker. He really gets under batmans skin because he is untimately a representation of chaos, the main thing the batman hates.

Appearance without costume: Christian Bale is pretty close.

Costume: (as there can be many versions, let see what it is that you want them to be in)

The classic Batman. One piece of body armour - that stupid target he wears on his chest.

Equipment: basically, loads carried in miniaturised form on his belt. I have very little idea how and have removed most of the silly stuff, but here is a comprehensive list of Bat-junk from Wkiki

Batarangs:[9] A customized throwing weapon used by Batman. Interpretations of the weapon have varied from the boomerang to the shuriken.[10] Recent interpretations have shown a large array of different types and sizes for different effects (i.e. blunt impact, edged, slashing).

Bat-lasso:[11] Thrown around the feet of Batman's enemies to tie them with a composite-nylon cord. Often causes an escaping opponent to trip. With the push of a button in Batman's glove it can deliver an electric shock.

Bat-cuffs:[12] Bat shaped handcuffs, resembling the kind used by Special Forces units. These restraints are made of a lightweight diamond-impregnated nylon overlaying a banded steel core. Using a one-piece design, they slide closed and have to be cut off. Batman has given a special tool with a diamond-edged cutting implement to the Gotham PD for removal.

Bat-Tracer:[13] Used to track enemies Batman cannot follow closely.

Communications device:[14] Often an earbug housed in an ear of Batman's cowl, but sometimes handheld.

Bat-Darts:[15] Tipped with tranquillizers

First aid kit:[16][17]

Cryo Capsules:[16][17] Small capsules that release a cryonic acid upon the breaking of the shell.

Night vision bat-goggles:[22] Using Starlite infrared lenses to see thermal output in low light or non-lit situations. Currently built-in to Batman's cowl.

Batlight: A simple but powerful flashlight. Batman uses it in numerous episodes of the animated series, usually when looking for clues, or through private files in the dark. Sometimes replaced by an infrared version that provides illumination viewable only through special eyepieces in Batman's cowl, which allows him to see in the dark without becoming visible himself.

Kryptonite ring: Stored in a lead box, it is reserved for emergency use against a rogue Superman and/or other Kryptonians.[23]

Acetylene torch:[24] A strong miniaturized laser used as a cutting tool.

Line gun: (Grapnel Gun)[25][26][27] Similar to a grappling hook, the line gun uses a strong clamp attached to a high-tensile wire for scaling surfaces and/or traversing gaps. It can be recovered by releasing the clamp and rewinding the cable. It was based from one that is designed as compact climbing gear for commando units.

Lock pick: Sometimes kept in the gloves instead.

Marbles: Rolled down stairs to imitate footsteps. Depicted as a magnetic metal ball in the "Hush" storyline arc.

Micro bat-camera[28]: A miniature camera

Miniature smoke grenades[29]Grenades can contain smoke or any other noxious gas such as anesthesia

Rebreather:[31] Allows Batman to breathe underwater or in vacuum. Depending on the writer and/or artist, it may also be incorporated with the gas mask.

A Master Bat-Key (sometimes mistakenly called a skeleton key) is perhaps the simplest tool in Batman's utility belt.

Smoke pellets:[32] Often used to quickly provide cover for Batman's stealthly exits and entries. Knock-out gas pellets are used as well for non-lethally incapacitating opponents. Lachrymatory and regurgitant agents are deployed by throwing or breaking open the small hardened-gelatin spheroid capsules.

Stun (Flash-Bang) grenades:[33][34] Emits bright light and loud sound to blind and stun enemies.

Thermite grenades: An incendiary used to burn[35] through obstacles. In Batman: Year One, the thermite charge ignited accidentally and destroyed the utility belt. Although they are identified as Thermite, it is safe to assume that Thermate is used instead. (The former is a World War II technology which has largely been replaced by the latter.) In Judgement on Gotham (1991), Batman is equipped with a phosphor-based incendiary device.

A cache of cash

Listening devices: Miniature listening devices or 'bugs', sometimes fired from a modified pistol and used to listen in on criminals' conversations. Used in Batman: The Animated Series.

Shark Repellant Bat Spray, a rarely seen item from the golden age that is usually overly specific to repel exactly the menace that batman is fighting at the time. Although the prop used was not actually utility belt item, it made an appearance in the 1966 Batman movie during the famous exploding shark repellant batspray scene.

RubySlippers

What about small fish he actually pulled that out in the original tv series when he defeated Mr. Freeze and wanted to feed the villian pet seal. I would add one odd thing per mission undefined he may need a bat condom or bat massage oil after all.

And put Catwoman in as an ally he did father her daughter even after the loss she has ample respect for him as a man worthy of her time. No boom boom though she had a child and lost it so is not going to want to get hurt like that again.

Enhanced Claws: Vixen's claws are particularly sharp and tough, enabling her to rend through a variety of substances, such as fabric, wood, even soft metals and cinder block with ease. Her claws are magically enhanced and have drawn blood from individuals who are consider highly durable like Geo-Force and Pre-Crisis Superman.

Animal Metamorph: Occasionally, she has been known to physically transform into animals - for example: she has shape-shifted into animals, such as a wolf, a great horned owl, and a cougar.

Enhanced Healing: The totem even allows her to heal bruise and wounds within seconds by simply touching it.

Morphogenetic Field Energy Manipulation: While the full extent of Vixen’s control over the Morphogenetic field is unknown, she has on occasions drawn pure energy from it and displayed this energy as a force field and energy claws. While in cooperation with Animal Man and the woman known as Tristess, she creates an entire universe.

Weaknesses:
Animal Behavior: One apparent drawback of Vixen's powers is that she is not always able to control the inputs from the Morphogenetic field. Sometimes, she has absorbed unwanted animal behavior, such as instinctive rage. Meaning the longer she stays in contact with the Morphogenetic field, the less human and more animal she seems to become.

It is unknown what would happen if Vixen tried to use her magical abilities on an alien animal, or if she would gain access to the Morphogenetic field of another planet.

History:
In ancient Africa, there was a legend that the warrior Tantu asked Anansi the Spider to create a totem that would give the wearer all of the powers of the animal kingdom, if they would use the power to protect the innocent. As shown in the pages of Animal Man, it is possible that the "Anansi" who Tantu met, may have been a member of the alien race who gave Buddy Baker the ability to tap the Morphogenetic field. According to the Animal Man series Mari’s Tantu totem may tap into that same field. Tantu used the totem to become Africa’s first legendary hero. The totem was later passed down to Tantu’s descendants until it reached the McCabes.

Growing up in a small African village, Mari Jiwe McCabe heard the legend of the “Tantu Totem” from her parents. She was the daughter of Reverend Richard Jiwe, the village priest, who was her sole caretaker, as poachers, lead by a man named Kwesi, killed her mother years ago. Reverend Jiwe himself was killed by his half-brother (Mari’s uncle) General Maksai. Makasai wanted the Tantu Totem, which had been in Reverend Jiwe’s possession.

Now orphaned, she fled to America. She set up an identity for herself as Mari McCabe and used her beauty to become a well-known fashion model in New York City. She used her newfound wealth to travel the world. On a trip back to Africa, she came across her uncle, and stole back the Tantu Totem, using its power to become the Vixen.

Appearance without costume:

Costume:

Equipment:

Tantu Totem: Vixen wields an object called the Tantu Totem, a fox-shaped talisman, which enables her to tap into the "morphogenetic field" of the Earth, sometimes known as the Red. This allows her to mimic the abilities of any animal she can think of, by simply focusing on a specific animal abilities and then drawing it directly from the field. She has demonstrated the ability to hold onto the Morphogenetic traits of an entire forest of animals. The Totem isn't the source of her powers but rather helps her channel the power.

Thanks to lois for reminding me of her!

Superhero: Green Lantern
Real Name: Kyle Rayner
Age: 25
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual (Switch)
Base of Operations: Oa
Powers:
Energy Projection: The ring can be used to fire blasts of Oan energy or create weapons such as projectiles of them. The ring can project beams of force powered by the will of the user. Kyle generally uses fanciful constructs in the shape of advanced technology. Their appearance does not indicate the power of the weapon. The weapons power is more an indication of the will of the user.
Force Field: The ring can create various forcefields of various sizes and shapes to protect the wearer and others around him. With the cosmic scope of a Green Lantern's duties, it is only natural that the power ring is designed for operation in space. The ring creates a force-field around the wearer, protecting him/her/it from the hazards of the void including filtration of stellar radiation and microscopic particulate matter which would ordinarily be fatal should the space debris strike the ring wielder at high speeds. An atmosphere appropriate to the ring wielder's biology is created inside the force-field, body temperature is maintained and waste products are removed. Gravitational stresses which could cause injury are stabilized for the ring wielder.
Energy Constructs: The ring can form constructs of Oan energy. The primary function of the Power Ring is to provide a weapon capable of transforming the wearer's thoughts into physical constructs through the wearer's strength of willpower. A Green Lantern can create any particular items or construct that they can imagine as long as they have the willpower necessary to will it into existence. The constructs are made out of green energy, which is a tangible form of pure willpower, and they exist only as long as a Green Lantern is fueling it with their willpower. Items created by the rings are not indestructible and are only as powerful as the willpower of the Green Lantern creating them. The types of constructs usually reflects the ring wearer's personality. Green Kryptonite has also been constructed using a Ring.
Phasing: The Power Ring allows the wearer to pass through certain solid objects, such as walls. Which objects that are not penetrable are not known, but it may depend upon the strength of the wearer's willpower and the density of the object's molecular structure.
Environmental Playback: Upon request, the power ring can recreate a holographic environment based on data in its memory banks. The ring wielder can observe events in a ghostlike state, but the ring wielder cannot alter the outcome of the playback. All objects in the playback will appear in the full spectrum of colors, regardless of the wielder's level of expertise creating simulacrums. The power ring will automatically end the playback if outside interference warrants the ring wielder's undivided attention.
Invisibility & Light Refraction: A ring wielder can render him/her/itself invisible by willing the ring to bend light waves around his/her/its form, as well as that of the power ring. Presumably, a similar action allows an experienced ring wielder to create objects of colors other than green. It can be assumed the ring wielder would not risk the extra time and effort to create other colors in a combat situation.
Energy Twin: The power ring allows the wearer to create an "energy twin" of his/her/itself that can travel at far greater speeds than that of the ring wielder's physical form. While the energy twin is active the ring wielder remains motionless, his/her/its life force is needed to guide the energy twin. The energy twin can not alter its surroundings, and may only be perceived by the Guardians or another ring wielder as a green, ghostlike image. Any knowledge gained by the energy twin is transferred back to the ring wielder's physical form upon recontact with the body. The Guardians frequently used energy twins as a means of contacting a Green Lantern. As a rule, a ring wielder can not create actual, independent duplicates of him/her/itself, as the power ring cannot create life.
Energy Absorption: The ring can absorb and store most other energies. Doing so does NOT replenish the normal store of energy the ring has. A ring that needs recharging but contained a store of electricity could only discharge that electricity, for example.
Flight: By the manipulation of anti-gravitons and directed molecular movement, the ring allows the user to fly at incredible speeds. In atmosphere, a Green Lantern has been known to fly as fast as Mach 10 in atmosphere by creating an aerodynamic envelope around his body. Towing others, usually within a bubble, his speed is limited to the twice the speed of sound or 1440 mph. In space, Green Lantern's speed can be significantly greater and has been known to approach 80% of lightspeed in normal space. Flight is possible at velocities exceeding light speed. In atmospheres, air friction is not a hindrance, since heat is either absorbed or reflected by the ring's field.
Wormholes & Spacial Warps: The power ring grants its wearer access to wormholes in space, enabling the ring wielder to rapidly cut time and distance needed for transport. The Guardians established at least one known wormhole to Oa, which required the use of a power ring to enter. Black holes can be navigated by experienced ring wielders. The power ring cannot generate a Boom Tube, as it needs a Mother Box and a sample of the highly unstable X-Element. There is no known way to duplicate either item, even with the power ring. Should a Green Lantern make his/her/its way to the other-dimensional worlds of Apokolips or New Genesis through a Boom Tube, the ring will function as it does in the rest of the universe. John Stewart encountered no ring related difficulties during his stay on New Genesis, despite the loss of the Central Power Battery. The ring wielder would still need a Boom Tube to return to his/her/it's dimension.
Time Travel: Time travel is possible with the power ring, though the further forward in time a ring wielder travels, the more willpower it takes.
Limited Cellular Regeneration: This ring has a limited ability to heal physical injuries; this seems to be a feature held over from the previous incarnations of the ring. Green Lantern can use the ring to repair minor injuries in himself or others. Speculation has been rendered to wonder if Kyle actually had medical knowledge, that he would be able to cure a wider variety of dysfunctions, beyond normal physical injuries.
Electromagnetic Scanning: The ring has a wide range of detection abilities based on the imagination of the user. If one can conceive of it, he can probably detect it. Magical effects like clairvoyance, seem to be beyond the scope of the ring. Most normal electromagnetic phenomena are within the range of the ring, including radio, television, infrared, ultraviolet, and high frequency band communications.
Search Probes: A user was capable of sending probes through their Power Ring that were tasked with locating specific targets or individuals.
Galactic Encyclopedia: The earlier rings worn by the Corps functioned as references for their users. Having the vast knowledge of the Oans to draw upon, each ring functioned as a ready reference on most peoples, stellar events and conditions that may have been seen by other rings or other Green Lanterns. The rings also served as a repository of adventures had by the Green Lantern and these mission reports were stored in the Prime Battery on Oa for review and training.
Universal Translator: The power ring can translate virtually any language in the universe, facilitating diplomatic encounters rather than violent confrontations. Complications can arise, though, when a frame of reference for translation is not available, as evidenced during Katma Tui's induction of Rot Lop Fan into the Green Lantern Corps.
Material Alteration: The Green Lantern's uniform is not made out of fabric. It is created by the Power Ring whenever the wearer wills to wear it. It automatically appears over the wearer's normal clothing, and vanishes when the wearer wills to return to their civilian attire.  The green parts of the wearer's uniform are usually hot to those who touch it, while the black parts are cold.
Emergency Beacon: A Green Lantern in distress can use his/her/its power ring as an emergency beacon. The alert can be directed to a Green Lantern's neighboring sector, or it can be a Corps-wide alert.
Homing Beacon: A homing beacon in the power ring can lead one Green Lantern to another. This was one of the recent power ring upgrade features added by the Guardians of the Universe. The power ring can be ordered to disguise itself to elude power ring wielding trackers. Most often ring wielders will allow the beacon to signal their location to others. The Green Lantern Corps of Earth found the remnants of the Green Lantern Corps of The Klyminade by tracking them through their power rings.
Mind Alteration: Though the ethics of mind tampering may be debatable, sometimes it is necessary. As the power ring relies on thought and will to operate, mind tampering is not impossible. The difficulty lies in properly applying the power. There lies a risk of catastrophic damage to the mind should mistakes be made. A ring wielder can use the power ring to erase portions of an individual's memories. They are taught to build mental defenses to protect themselves from psionic attack. The power ring can also be used to beam information from the ring wielder to another being. Green Lanterns have used this technique to share information regarding their enemies during combat situations.
Thought Relay: Otherwise known as a telepathic link.
Levitation

Weaknesses:
Mental Instability Protocol: Drug use, neural interference, vertigo or other forms of mental incapacitation can render the wearer unable to use their ring.
Rage Vulnerability: The Red light can corrupt the aura of a Green Lantern, draining the power of a Green Lantern Ring.
Recharge Protocol: Formerly, the rings needed to be charged after a period of one planetary axial rotation (dependent on each ring's location), regardless of how often it was used. Currently, the rings retain a charge until they run out of power. This variability ensures that the wearer takes great effort to keep it charged.
Vibrational Interference: If a vibration from a device is set to a certain speed, it causes the ring to function only in miniature, so that if the user wanted to make hands to grab something, the hands would be smaller than intended. A clock has been seen to do this.

History (having to rewrite his story quite a bit since Hal died): Kyle Rayner was an average guy who made his living as a graphic artist, but when Darkseid killed off Hal Jordan, the fall of the Green Lanterns was close at hand. In a last attempt to save the corps from complete annihilation, The Guardians of the Universe sent out a special power ring without a direct tie to the central power battery on Oa. This ring found it's way to Kyle Rayner, who at the time was down on his luck. With the new power the ring provided, Kyle set out to Oa for training, only to find it in ruin, the Green Lanterns disbanded, and only a single Oan left on the planet. That Oan taught Kyle the ways of the Green Lanterns, and told him of the reason behind his newfound powers. Kyle began to fight all manners of evil on earth to draw out the enemies of the Lanterns, him being the last active Green Lantern. His first incounter with the Sinsestro Corps was an easy victory, only to find that they were sent to soften the young Lantern up for the true challenge. Sinestro and Kyle fought in an epic battle on the moon, ending with a large crater and a stalemate. Sinestro left to lick his wounds while Kyle regrouped back on earth.

Realizing he can not revive the Green Lanterns alone, even with his lack of the Yellow Weakness. Turning to the heroes of earth, Kyle explained his plight and joined the Justice League as a replacement for Hal Jordan. The next time Sinestro showed up, Kyle was ready with his allies, though he wasn't ready for the secret weapon that Sinestro had. A reanimated Hal Jordan as the host of Parallax, unbridled by Hal's will and with the full power of the Sinestro Corps fear. The battle lead the two back to Oa, where they engaged in a battle that nearly ended in the younger Lantern's death. As Hal prepared the final blow, Ion empowered Kyle, bringing the battle back to an even playing field. The fight continued for days until finally, Kyle threw Hal into the central power battery, Ion trapping Parallax inside once again, but at the cost of reintroducing the Yellow Impurity.

Activity: After his battle with Parallax, Kyle has since been rebuilding the Green Lantern Corps using Hal Jordan's ring as a template for new Lanterns. Other, older, Green Lanterns came out of hiding to aid him in his efforts, training the new recruits while Kyle returned to Sector 2814 as their official Lantern. Kyle is haunted by the fact he was not being able to save Hal's body from being trapped in the central power battery, but he knows it was for the best. While he does his best to fill the shoes of the famous Hal Jordan, he knows he can never quite be as good. Kyle often is the first line of defense for Earth from those that come from other sectors, though he knows he has powerful allies should he need the assistance.

Now that I have my character up (Thank you Lois for pointing me this way) and sorted out, I'm gonna have to say, I'm liking the different personalities we have here. Definitely should be a fun game when it gets going.

My character has the powers of an oedinary New God I'm sure scratches and bites from a normal mortal can't do much, it was worth the limit of not conquering planets for such advantages and she's not ambitious that way. Of course she does have to catch her to send her to a plane no small thing might be an amusing hunt getting her and avoiding anyone helping her.

And Mr. Lantern you forgot one weakness the color yellow that is a core Green Lantern weakness in the energy of the rings themselves so I think the GM needs to enforce this unless there is a canon source that can explain this. After all it affects how many other types of Lantern out there red, yellow, orange etc. and a few are noble lanterns not villianous ones. I don't mind creative license but lanterns are canon core groups with a long history any big shift needs to make sense.

1SAZ

Kyle's ring was created post release of Parallax and has no tie to the central power battery on Oa, meaning he is the ONLY Green Lantern with the Yellow Immunity before Parallax was put back in. After the Green Lanterns were reinstated but before Parallax became the Yellow Impurity again, a Lantern needed to face his fears before s/he/it could overcome yellow.

Because I lack the time to go back into my collection of comics and find the specific one that declared Kyle to be the first to not suffer the yellow impurity weakness, please refer to the second paragraph of this wiki page.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyle_Rayner#Powers_and_abilities

Pick whichever explination you prefer more, but Kyle doesn't have problems with yellow. Thank you for bringing that up.

RubySlippers

Oh ok we can just keep it simple the earliest Green Lantern was just one man with the battery and ring so I can see it but its a big move to stripping your character of a weakness. My buddy is the Green Lantern fanatic and brought up this is a way to activate the Black Lanterns if the energies are imbalanced and those are not good to have active.

Geek fights are fun but if the GM has no problems its fine by me.

Jmorty33

Damn you 1SAZ, I was about to make a Kyle character! THough I guess Hal will have to suffice.

Ruby: I agree, losing that weakness is a minor problem as far as the Green Lanterns go, but it actually puts them on par with the other Lantern Corps. The yellow weakness was caused by Parallax being trapped in the power battery, not due to each of the others having an inherent weakness to the opposite color. With the yellow impurity, the Green Lanterns were at a huge disadvantage against the Sinestro Corps, which used yellow light constructs. The Green Lanterns have a number of other weaknesses and their power is based completely off their ability to maintain their constructs. The power of the red ring, however, is the direct counter to the Green Lantern's rings, draining them quickly.

Jmorty: Sorry, but Hal is dead in this game's timeline. See page 2 of this thread I believe.

Jmorty33

Kill Hal?... KILL HAL!? I believe that Batman was the one who died during the Darkseid attack, I refer to Blackest night Issue 0 page 7 panel 3, so I'm calling continuity error there. Besides how would Batman even be alive at this point, he wasn't brought back in Brightest Day, subsequently all the heros brought back in that arch did turn to white dust after completing their White Ring mission.

Jmorty: Lois is going for a darker reformation of the JLA so she thought the death of a major hero would explain both the Darker edge and the lack of a Justice League for the ^ months it took for the Villians to organize and start working together. Unfortunately Hal was put on the Altar. Happily though she is allowing almost every other Villain and Hero in the DC world.

The JLU and Legion of Dooms rosters are fully open plus some. Teen Titans, Doom Patrol, Young Justice, JSA, The Marvel Family, Etc. can be pulled from for the good Guys and The Baddies can come from the Flashes and/or Batmans Rogue Galleries,The Brotherhood of Evil, The Suicide Squad, the Injustice League, and more. Even Better is the fact everyone has the option to pick one Villain AND one Hero a piece. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Jmorty33

Yeah, I was talking with Lois and she said I could bring him back, but I said no thinking if it's a major plot point I don't want to jack with anything. We'll let Kyle take over as the main Green Lantern. I decided I'm going with Doctor Fate, he can do all the stuff Green Lanterns can do and more plus he's magic so double bonus there.

Be interesting to see how The Green Lantern can withstand one of Earth's most powerful Homo Magi The Contessa, Black Adam is not really a mage he doesn't count. But at least he is honorable and an old soul like she is they likely see eye-to-eye on this. And since your a defender of Earth if your in the JLA I can't kill the Green Lantern now you become a policeman again and not tied to a planet as a protector all bets are off.

(blasts a practice target with magical lightning)

Doctor Fate finally a rival worthy of The Contessa we had that smelly demon running around not more than a nuisance, but still he is not a true mage you take the mask and secure it from a mortal host she can neutralize him. And keep her pact to The Source intact.

So Jmorty you're planning on taking Doc Fate...this could get interresting a Lord or Order living in the same house as a demon possessed host. Together we should be able to conteract most spells but the rivalry and distatste for each possessing entity, despite the host mutual respect of one another, should be quite interesting to play.

Hey guys! Glad to see such intrest in the group again.
We do need a few more female characters though. Just to even out the playing Field.

This is the new Watchtower in the Game Based heart in the center of metropolis.
Yes it IS the Watchtower that is used in tv series Smallville.

The Blonde (for those who Dont know) is Chloe Sullivan. In this verse Chloe is very much alive.
However she like in the TV show has erdicated her identity and livining in hideing (And shes not married to Oliver)
Infact Chloe will be determined if a player Asks for her, she is now offically canon in the comics and a beloved smallville character.
But she is NOT going to take over from Babs Gordan as "Oracle" that role is very much filled in my mind.
Watchtower will be akin to Babra Gordans Clocktower that operates in Birds Of Prey.

Speaking of I think this lady should operate Watchtower

With funding initally from her best friends ex Oliver Queen it kinda makes sense no? Oracle seems like the perfect join to bring the Band back together. What is everyones thoughts on her been a None Playable Character we ALL control???

Watchtower is fully capable of hosting itelf as the Teams Headquaters. Supplied with Wayne and Queen teck, how can you go wrong?

Heroes can Also use it as a Home away from Home. Its an apartment Block that the upper floors have been converted.
Why Metropolis? Beacuse something "Dark" Is riseing in the beloved city of the Superman.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Watchtower is a large tower building located in the heart of Metropolis, with a loft apartment overlooking the whole of the city. It is the tallest building in Metropolis, towering over LuthorCorp Plaza.
The external appearance of the loft is similar to an observatory and is painted in green. It has circular windows surrounding it and one main window through which one can see the whole city. At the top has what appears to be a bell-tower like the cathedrals typically have.
The Watchtower building is located in a corner and covers an entire block. It has many small windows and the tower rises from the middle of edificion. The tower widens as it approaches the ground and this causes that three divisions can be seen on it. The first set ends with in a rooftop of the main building from where the other two sections rise up finishing in the apartment.
To access Watchtower, visitors use an elevator which is equipped with a security system to prevent any access to the building.
Inside, Watchtower is divided into two floors with stairs on both sides of the room. It has hanging lights and the walls are decorated with reliefs. Several drawers and furniture are scattered about the room as well as several books and a coffee machine.
The main door is shaped like a semicircle with stained glass and is the only route to the elevator. There is also a door located on the right side that leads to a hallway.
Downstairs, Watchtower has high tech computers and computer equipment and serves as the meeting center. It is decorated as an office with a sofa and a modern desktop as well as several computers on all the walls.
The main window is located on this floor and provides a comprehensive overview of the city. It has stained glass with the predominantly colors green, yellow and red, and is considerably larger in size to the point that a person can stand on it.
A medical laboratory located in the upstairs. This section is equipped with stretchers, medical equipment and also with multiple monitors. Some documents and tools are also stored in the upstairs.
Within the Building should be a Traning room (A gym if you like) For the Heroes to Spar.
Watchtower is equipped with technology that is provided by Queen Industries.
The Watchtower computers are capable of downloading large amounts of information at high speed, has a fairly comprehensive database and uses the most modern technology in communication.
Watchtower also has its own dedicated orbital satellite which was also developed and provided by Queen Industries. It also features a GPS system to track abnormal activity around the globe and also serves to track the team members.
The main elevator has a secret fingerprint detection system that leading to a digital scan and a password system. Although only team members have access to these passwords and system, the security can be circumvented using a handheld fingerprint scanner and a password hacker.
If an intruder breaks into the place or the systems are at risk of being severely hacked, Watchtower begins a lockdown protocol and sealed all exits. The sealing system is provided with metal security doors that can not be broken easily and where the bullets bounce off without problem. Also cuts the oxygen leaving a minimum supply and blocks all signals and communication with the outside. The disadvantage of this system is that it was designed to let the intruder locked but don't foreshadow the case where one member remain trapped inside and therefore has no emergency exit for the case.
Anyway, whats everyones thoughts???
RubySlippers
I was thinking can we do new non-canon characters after thinking about this I'd rather make up my own heroine and villian not in the DC universe and not a member of a society or existing organization than play Catwoman or The Contessa. Plus I am finding the power levels high for me and I'd like to wrench my two down to more modest levels.
Powers: Without Helmet of Nabu: Telekinesis, levitation, and mastery of some spells. With Helmet of Nabu: Mystical Bolts, Energy Blasts, Flight, Astral Projection, Telekinesis, Telepathy, Super Strength, and Transmutation.
Weaknesses: His weakness is his mortality, without the Helmet of Nabu he's just a standard mortal with some knowledge of the mystic arts and not as powerful as he is with The Helmet of Nabu.
History: Kent Nelson was the son of archaeologist Sven Nelson, and the two of them were exploring the Valley of Ur in Mesopotamia when they discovered an underground pyramid. The use of the watch tower makes a bit of sense given the events we've built here so far. With the large amount of distruction caused by Darksied it's easy to see the justice League being cut off from the portals that allow acess to the satilite via the hall of justice and/or that the satilite base might have substained critical damage and needs extensive repairs to be operational again. The Watchtower would be a mothballed base: a Bolthole reserve location that the origional smallville team knows of from their early days together. With a small amount of money and a few updates it would make a suitible base of Operations until the Hall and the orbital Watchtower come back online. Just my thoughts....
PROLOGUE:
She gazed out the beautiful window looking down at the bright lights of the city below.
This was Metropolis, the biggest city in the world. At the height of agriculture and the economy.
It was truly a breath-takeing sight, especially at night. Her new home, sat up here in this ivory tower.
This was the home of heroes, the forefront of the modern sciences the apex of culture. Her eyes dazed across the street to the towering Luthorcopre plaza, the home of the Billionaire Lex luthor. A man who was the embodiment of everything that was wrong with this city.
Gotham was nothing like Metropolis, it was dark and githic...streets filled with crime. The dived from the wealthy and the poor was painstackingly obvious but here in the glamerous Metropolis such dived was well hidden.
She was a Gotham Girl through to her bones.  Her entire young life had been devoted to makeing that city a better place.
But now she was needed here and as much as she was dazzled by the inviteing sights and sounds of this bold city she knew a differnt kinde of corruption existed here. In some ways that made it more dangerous, in Gotham you can see the danger all around you but here in Metropoils it was hard to seperate the good from the bad. Men like Lex Luthor (a nortious criminal) could walk the streets and still sit up high in his glass castle. Well times were about to change and for the better.
Her name is Barbara gordon. She had been many things in her life, student, Daughter, Librarian, teacher and superhero.
Now she was on the verge of becoming something bigger then all of them combind. It frightened her a great deal. But she`d been in the presence of Gods in her young life so she took many deep breaths and focussed on her misssion.
She was the Ghost in the Machine now, crippled by a hediuos attack from Gothams most wanted a man named the Joker.
The last few years confined to a wheelchair her spine broken beyond repair. Fate had turned her into the ORACLE. A hero who fought battles a differnt way to her previous incarnation, the Batgirl (Sidekick to Gothams Dark Knight). The internet was her battlefeild the world of the Cyber her surroundings. She was connencted to the most powerful inderviduals in the world, all through the power of the modern machine.
She rolled herself back and looked around her. The new Watchtower, heart in the city of Metropolis. Her new home and base of operations. This was to act as the meeting ground for what was to come. The road ahead was a long and tough one. But her corse was simple and things had never been clearer. Her mission...To give the world back the Justice league.
Sadly she smiled as she moved over to her nearest laptop (the room was simply filled with them) she logged on and started typeing away at her computer. The game was set and ready to go.
WONDER WOMAN (tag Anyone) "The Amazon of Metropolis"
She ran down the streets, croweded. The pavement been pounded as her heels clicked and clocked down.
Her long Dark hair cascadeing in the wind, her face hardened as she relentlessly pursed her "Prey".
Passers by flung themselves to the side (nearly into the road) as she passed them at nearly the speed of light.
But they knew who she was, Wonder Woman! Amazon princess of Themiscara. Who over a decade ago came to their world from her amazon paridise to fight in justice and bridge the gap between all nations and cultures, to be the utimate Ambassidor for peace.
Times had changed, the world had hardend her and hse was no longer the loveing princess she had been.
Now she was more like many of her Sisters back home, she was a warrior born and her softness was nothing but a mere memory.
As she ran she grabbed at her right hand side her trusty goldern lasso, a weapon which over the years and saved her time and time again. A pieace of the purest and oldest magic which could make anyone under ore tiead to it tell the truth.  She swirled it up in the air and threw it at her target. Winslow Scott aka the deadly ToyMan.
Winslow ha been a toymaker for Luthorcope many years ago, who after Lex fired and humiliated him turned into a criminal mastermind.
He had been an enemey of Superman for years. But now the Man of Steel was gone. After what the press were calling the "EVENT" which had seen the Earth on the brink of eniliation from the Aleian warlord known as Darkside. Heores fell, friends and the justice league (The team she was once a proud member of) had broken apart. Guilt of looseing one of their dearst friends.
Toyman had bolted across the busy road, nearly been run down by a taxi cab to the entrance of Metropolis Park. But Diana`s lasso swirled through the air and wrapped around his legs causeing him to fall at the gate entrace. BAMM. He was face first on the pavement.
She jumped through the air (Her blasted powers had recently been diminished after a run in with Zeus himself, king of the gods) And Diana could no longer take to the skys like Appollo.
She landed gracefully and now towerd over the overweight and pigih littel man. "What are you up to Toyman?" She angrily spat.
All femminiaty from her voice was eridicated. This whole nights events had started when she overheard on the intercom of her Jet that an unusual hold up with MPD had been going down at the docks. A shipment from Japan had come in and there had been a serious attack, the police showed up attempting to quarenteen the situation but had been out-mand. Diana no longer held a double idenetity as Diana Prince (the life she had in new york, her job at the Museam...her friends...Steve and Etta it was all gone) After the "Event" she dedicated herself completely to Wonder Woman. Flying around in her invisable jet around the world. Wherever needed her she was there.
Sporting a new *tougher* costume and haveing littel patience with her foes.
Since Superman vanished she spent a majority of her days here in Metropolis, crime was riseing despite her efforts as well as general civil unrest, hate crimes and riots. Nothing knew to a city like Star City ore Gotham but very unusaul for Metropolis. She had arrived at the Docks twenty minutes ago. To finde it was none other then the Toyman leading a bunch of henchmen as they stole hightech Japeniese equipment, it looked like lazor tech but Diana couldnt be sure. Whatever he wanted with it would have no good end, so as she fought off his 8 henchmen Winslow escaped with something tucked under his left arm. Diana picked him off the ground and turned him around to face her. His fat littel face was flushed and his right lense from his glasses had cracked. She held him off the ground by the scruff of his neck, she`d chased him across town but now he was caught.
"What were you doing with...UHGGNNNG!!" before she could finish her setence she was hit from behind it was a painful bolt of electric energy. She was dazed her body had been flung forward from the unkown blast. She was no longer holding Winslow but on the floor. She had a feeling who her attacker was and slowly turned her had to look up, her back was sizzling smoke. Sure enough she saw that Toymans rescuer was none other then Livewire (another of Supermans foes) TGhe yonug pyschotic girl grinned at her.
"Ive been wanting to do that for years you self rightous BITCH!" She hissed at Diana. Takeing down Livewire would be harder as she was a rather strong Meta Human.
it should probably go here NC: Human-Freeform Small Groups I dont see us getting into the territory of Extreme Play but Non-con, Bondage, BDSm, Etc I could see coming up. Also you can only move a game into big groups after the group hits a 1000 posts. So for now we're a small group.
Jmorty33
You really think it can go into the NC area... Wait I see your point there Corventius
umm how many times have you seen an villian tie up and beat a hero? now times that by the times you thought there was a menacing phrase the villian said that made you think that the villian might do more to the hero than just beat them up before the screen faded to black.....now realize that here we wont be fading out to black.....I think you see my point. Thats not even taking into account whatever kinks the spandex and leather clad Heros have in their spare time between patrols and sparring practice. Yes I think IT could definatly get into the Non-con areas.
TheScarletBlade
With how demented villains can get, I am sure the darker topics are not really taboo: I mean didn't Dr. Light rape someones wife back right before infinite crisis?
“I fight for the men I have held in my arms, dying on foreign soil. I fight for their wives and children, whose names I heard whispered in their last breath. I fight for we few who did come home, only to find our country full of strangers wearing familiar faces. I fight so that all the fighting I've already done hasn't been for nothing, I fight: because I must.”
TheScarletBlade aka TSB
Jmorty33
Damn I can't remember, I'm going through the heros I know with wives before Crisis. The only universe I know extensivley is Green Lantern, I know the Star Sapphire was raped by The Predator entity, it did the same to Carol I think. So yeah I understand how this can be NC.
Yes, he did.  He raped and murdered Jane Lorring, Plastic Man's wife.  It was fucking brutal.
I PMed loislanekent about starting a thread in the NC: Small Group Games section but have yet to hear back from her.
Nah, she takes awhile to reply to pm's, but I think she'll be on in about 40 or 45 minutes . It would be about 11:30 my time.
Wow, DC has gotten a bit dark since after Infinite Crisis, especially since it's a main hero like Plastic Man; sort of like how they killed off Ralph and Sue Dibny, they were fucking brutal in Blackest Night. They took down Hawkman and Hawkgirl in no time.
Hence the inspiration for this game!
I'm so ready to play a darker, deadlier Superman.  The Man of Steel has been a favorite character of mine for so long that the chance to have an alternate universe Supes that goes quite dark is giving me a nerdgasm :P lol
Jmorty33
I know, this idea is so cool, I always wanted to see a more darker Superman, one more willing to kill and stop being so Mr. Perfect. Plus this is my chance to try a new character, Dr. Fate always intrigued me but I never really delved into him so this is a good opportunity for me.
Basically I get to play a bad guys who's untouchable and a good guy whos a real monster. How amazing is that?
I get to play deathstroke and systematically kill you all......
NosCorventius: Well you may be playing a demon, but Doctor Fate is the champion of the Lords of Order, he is powered by Nabu; so it sort of makes him like a deity or a demigod.
EbonyQueen: Oh come on Ebony it's not that bad, I'm sure Vixen can hold her own with these characters. Superman is gone, Etrigan just dump some holy water on him or slap some iron on him, Luthor is an egotistical prick, and Doctor Fate all you have to do is get the helmet off and he's completely normal. So no all is not lost for Vixen.
The Canary Cry has been able to reach 300 decibels, which is enough to make a person's ears start bleeding even if they're not the attack target. It's possible the scream can reach far higher levels.
Abilities
She has also been trained by Wildcat, who is formerly the Heavyweight Champion of the World, in the art of Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira, Krav Maga, and Hapkaido. Thanks to Wonder Woman, Dinah has been trained in Amazon martial arts, but is strictly a novice in that kind of fighting style. Other styles she's shown skill in include Savate, Judo, Aikido, Jujutsu, Wing Chun, and Tae Kwon Do
Master Tactician and Strategist: Dinah is also considered a strong leader and strategic thinker, which has led to her being made Chairwoman of the latest incarnation of the JLA.
Master Acrobat
Master Detective
Aviation
Expert Motorcyclist
Weaknesses: She's not invulnerable, anything that incpacitate her vital organs puts her at risk.
History: It seems like crime fighting was in her blood. Her mother was the former Black Canary. She started trianing  at a young age after her mother retired from 'the life'. She trained under the eyes of former heavy weight champion Wildcat, a former JSA member himself. She studied hard and trained even harder. Her father was a former police officer and though Dinah had consider a yellow tape side of criminal fighting she found the streets very comforting. She officially doned the name Black Canary, especially after inheriting her mother's metagene the Canary Cry. Dinah liked running the streets. She took a trade fixing up broken motocycles and eventually bought one herself to learn how to ride. Her extensive training in boxing was over. Leaving the states she sought out more training in martial arts and mastered many styles. Honing her skills she became one of the most lethal hands in the west. When she came back to the states and takin what she learned she became a more efficient fighter. Brutally incapacitating criminals and villians to point of death. One time to infiltrate a criminal soceity of underground fighters she took on the alias of "Black Scream" and enetered the ring of underground street fighting. Dinah had come close to killing many opponents before she was able to take down the base of operations. She has come to enjoy street fighting, but never lost track of her goal to wipe the streets clean, leaving a little blood behind.
After the death of Hal and the disbanding of the League, Dinah had taken some time  off from crime fighting, but she couldn't stay away for long.
Elven Sex Goddess
Sorry for the delay in posting it.   Busy week just got done with inventory at my store yesterday.
Superhero/villain:  Lady Blackhawk
Real Name:  Zinda Blake
Age: 27
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Base of Operations:  Metropolis (Formerly of Blackhawk Island)
Powers:  Ace pilot,  crack marksmen skilled in variety of firearms and superior hand to hand combat skills
Weaknesses: Zinda is brash and impulsive and always ready for a fight. While this characteristic can often times prove beneficial, it can also be a detriment and has landed her in dangerous situations that she could have otherwise avoided.   Along with the fact that she doesn't really have any super powers.   As her strength level is of a woman her age, size and weight who engages in intensive regular exercise.  Finally Zinda is a binge drinker.
History: Zinda is from the past.   A young woman enraptured in doing her part during war world two in wanting to join the famed Blackhawk squadron.    Self teaching herself how to pilot all sorts of modern aircraft.    As well, training herself to be a crack shot and skilled in multiple forms of  hand to hand combat.  Zinda tries to join the famed squadron.   Even with proving she is quite capable.   The famed squadrons rules forbade membership to a woman.    A woman didn't belong in combat.   But when the entire squadron is captured by the pirate Scavenger.   Zinda finds a way and rescues the squadron.  Thus gaining the title of honorary member of the famed Blackhawks.
In truth Zinda is not a super heroine.    More an adventuress, yet it is good moral code that makes her a heroine.  Although with her brashness a most unlikely one.
During Zero hour Zinda would be caught up in time warping fluxes.  An suddenly transported into modern time.     In which she meets and joins up with other heroes and heroines.    Most notable is her joining up with Oracle and the Birds of Prey who she incidentally coined the name for the group.   As they worked out of Metropolis.      During this time she also worked a few missions with the JLA of this timeline.
Yet again Lady Blackhawk is caught in another flux.   This one not so much a temporal flux but one that has her shifting realities.   While she is en route to Los Angles in the Aerie two helicopter.   the helicopter and all her gear she carries are shifted mysteriously into this alternate reality.   It doesn't take long for Zinda to figure out she is again in a different place.   Yet strangely enough she still has her apartment in Metropolis.      This shift would also bring yet another attempt.   That is the attempt to become a Hollywood actress.  It had been what she had been flying out to the west coast in the first place.   For Zinda has always held aspirations in becoming an actress in Hollywood.
Activity:  Like those in each of the times and realities.   Zinda would once again find the same result.  Hollywood is littered with blonde bombshells looking for the big break in becoming a Hollywood starlet.  Also finding out she has left  this reality Birds of Prey.   In her attempt to break into Hollywood.   Zinda would make it onto Girl gone wild video  fourteen.      As she flies down to a casting call during spring break.      Disappointed with it turning out to be nothing more then a video and not truly a movie.    Zinda decides to head back to home Metropolis.    The spring break  had been fun,  two weeks of wild binge drinking and flashing for the camera along with lots of beer pong.   However, the bug has set in on this heroine.  The same bug that had her dedicated herself into becoming Lady Blackhawk and joining the famed Blackhawk squadron.   That also had her answer the call and join Oracle's vision and the Birds of Prey.   As she returns to Metropolis to join the Justice League.
With all the temporal time shift and alternate reality.   Zinda looks and appears in her mid twenties.   Apparently having not aged.   Which might just be her one true superpower.    On a wall of honor at a pub near Edwards Air Force Base in California; the wall featured photographs of Blake with her now-deceased colleagues in the Blackhawks.   In which shows Zinda has not changed or aged through out it all.
Known Enemies:  Killer Shark (The grand son taken up family legacy), Scavenger.
Appearance without costume:
Costume:
Equipment: Helicopter, the Aerie Two,  pair of  16 shot 9mm hand guns, shotgun.   Apartment in Metropolis,  Ford Shelby Cobra mustang black in color.
Well if you are still looking for players I'd like to play Raven from the Teen Titans.
I know her more from the canceled  :'( cartoon network show. So I'd base her more on that version if that's OK; though a little older.
I'll do some reading regarding the comic book version of her as well.
Hello,
I went and made up Raven's Bio, though I'm still working on the history. I'm not sure when the game diverged from official continuity.
Superhero/villain: Raven
Real Name: Rachael Roth
Aliases: Rae, The Gem,
Place of Origin: Azarath
Residence: Jump City, Azarath
Species: Inter-dimensional half-human, half-demon
Affiliations: Teen Titans
Family: Trigon (father), Arella (mother), Monks of Azarath (guardians)
Age: 19
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual (Switch)
Base of Operations: New York's Titans Island, Jump City, Metropolis
Powers:
•   Soul-Self: Raven can manifest her "Soul-Self" through astral projection. It normally takes the form of either her human shape or a giant raven. Her Soul-Self is also apparently the source of most of her powers.
o   Astral Projection: Through the use of her soul-self, Raven can project her consciousness into the mind, for therapeutic purposes (to aid in her own meditation, or to help calm an agitated ally), or for offensive attacks, rendering her enemies unconscious.
o   Empathy: Mystical/Psionic ability of empathy, the power to absorb emotions, enabling her to feel the feelings of others.
   o   Emotion Negation: She can also use her empathy to steal emotions from others, rendering them emotionally "numb".
   o   Empathic Healing: She can absorb the pain of injured people to ease their suffering, and induce rapid healing.
o   Teleportation: It also serves as a way to travel into other dimensions. Using her soul-self, she can teleport herself and others over vast distances.
o   Telekinesis: Raven demonstrates this power and ability most often, levitating boxes, buses, and other inanimate objects into the battle, all fully enshrouded in her dark, magical mystical energy.
o   Dark Energy Constructs: Raven can make a variety of energy constructs from her dark energy, ranging from walls to flying platforms to claws to projectiles to shields (usually dome-shaped), the constructs are temporary and subject to her will.
Raven is able to raise shields with an extremely high degree of invulnerability to damage from nearly any kind of assault, be it physical or energy-based in nature. Her shields apparently absorb whatever impacts them and on occasions she has had to "purge" large amounts of mass that were absorbed by her shield she does not seem to have this limitation with energy.
o   Flight: Raven is capable of flying
o   Magic: Because of her demonic heritage and mystical upbringing Raven demonstrates a natural power and ability to use magic. As such she is capable of casting spells and incantations of numerous levels, cast curses and use a wide variety of magical artifacts.
Above-Average Physical Condition: Though not the most physically talented, Raven is nonetheless a fairly skilled hand-to-hand fighter, having received at least some degree of physical training and reasonable human physical capabilities. Raven has the strength of a woman her age who engages in moderate regular exercise.
Weaknesses:
•   Raven's main weakness is letting go of her emotions, especially anger. Other emotions aren't as earth trembling as Raven's temper. Anger is what changes her from her regular self to her demonic side practically every time.
•   Another weakness is her dependence on her main power mantra. If a gag is placed over her mouth she cannot invoke magic and she cannot connect with her powers until the gag is removed.
History: (How your character fits into this altered/grittier reality) Still working on this  :-)
Activity: After the death of Green Lantern (Hall Jordan) and the aftermath of Darkside’s invasion the Teen Titans remained together, though just barely. Raven and Gar (BeastBoy) grew apart under the strain the Titans trying to replace the disbanded Justice League. Unknown to everyone else she could sense that her father’s essence was not destroyed as they had all hoped and believed.
Raven has spent the last year in the ruins of Azarath seeking to any additional lore that she can about her dark father and herself.
Recently she sensed powerful, albeit brief magical emanations from the Earth realm. Something in that spark of power that she sensed drew her back to Earth.
Known Enemies:
•   Trigon
Appearance without costume:
Costume:
Equipment:
•   Titans Communicator
•   Ravens Mirror
•   Book of Azar (an ancient book from Azarath having some connection to the peaceful monk Azar)
Cleaned up the format a bit
IS THIS OUR LEAGUE?
I hope so...the mix of backgrounds and personalitys and experince would be so much fun.
BUt comon guys (in particular) get with the postin.
Mr Self Destruct
To be honest, I've been waiting for Green Lantern, Etrigan, and the other heroes who haven't debuted yet to make their appearance.  I like the build up that's been put into place for Superman's return, but I'm still waiting for the right moment to do that post.
As for the Joker, he's not particularly happy with the rough treatment by Artemis, though it did turn him on a little :P lol
I'll be working up a reply tomorrow for the Clown Prince, and possibly for Supes if the opportunity presents itself.
NosCorventius
hmm looks like we have a good amount of magic users now and with me having yet to intro Etrigan/Jason Blood I'm thinking I might do a last minute change up of my character. How would everyone feel about me bringing in everyones favorite shapeshifter J'onn J'onzz aka John Jones aka Martian Manhunter?
VoluptuousVixen
Hey, Martian Manhunter would make sense as an addition to the team. Given weve got both Doctor Fate and Raven onboard.
Jonn Jonzz is a great character with great powers.
mainsnoires
Hello there,
I would happily join this group if there's still room and would be interested in playing the Green Lantern. I'm working on the bio/pics at this moment and hope to post all shortly, as per Lois request.
mainsnoires
Hello,
I'm posting the Green Lantern Bio.
I noticed that a lot of players have asked to play the Green Lantern, but not Hal Jordan. I too noticed that there was quite some discussion about this canon character.
So I hope this bio will satisfy all members of this group, and be a nice addition for the game. If not let me know.
----
Superhero/villain: the Green Lantern
Real Name: Hal Jordan
Age: 28
Sexual Orientation: heterosexual/dominant
Base of Operations: formerly Coast city, California, N/A
Powers:
Each Green Lantern wields a power ring that can generate a variety of effects, sustained purely by the ring wearer's imagination and strength of will. The greater the user's willpower, the more effective the ring.
Power rings as used by various wielders have exhibited (but are not limited to) the following effects:
    Constructs of green 'solid-energy,' which can vary from microscopic to tremendous in size and/or complexity and are limited by the imagination of the ring's wielder. This can be used to attack, defend, or to grab targets (Pre-Crisis, the rings generated telekinectic skills without constructs, if needed)
        Force field generation, a somewhat protective aura (limited by user's willpower) used to shield the wearer from the rigors of the vacuum of space. This provides a breathable atmosphere for the user as well. Contrary to older canon, a Green Lantern ring currently does not automatically protect its wearer from harm but must be willed to do so (previously, an unconscious wielder generated a protective force field automatically).
        Generation of mental "earplugs" to block out telepathic communication and manipulation.
        Rendering targets invisible.
        Lights and beams of various intensity and colors, such as destructive plasma and harmless multicolored lights.
    Movement capabilities:
        Flight, including flight at speeds beyond that of light, although this creates an enormous expenditure of energy.
        Relatively instantaneous transport across the galaxy and other distances through generated wormholes
        Teleportation (an ability that has not been used in quite some time and may be outside the ability of modern Green Lanterns)
        Pre-Crisis, the rings allowed for travel faster than the speed of light.
        Time travel, though several power rings are needed to complete this.
    The rings can act as semi-sentient computers and accesses information through its connection with the Book of Oa; the rings have problem-solving skills but they cannot make decisions or take actions on their own, and must be given directives by the wearer:
        Translation of nearly all languages (originally, this was accomplished by using willpower, but this has changed in the modern era to be a function of the rings themselves).
        Communication between ringwielders, regardless of distance apart
        Diagnostic capabilities, allowing the user to see in X-Ray, diagnose illnesses, and identify materials.
    Mental powers of various stages:
        Telepathy
        Hypnosis, including projecting the target's thoughts onto constructed maps
        Creation and emission of certain types of radiation, including simulated wavelengths, such as kryptonite
        Placing humans into a state of suspended animation and pulling them out of it
    Changing the state of targeted matter and the wearer:
        Allowing targets and the wearer to phase through solid objects
        Rendering the wearer and targets to become invisible
        Accelerated healing of wounds, protection and treatment from viruses and biological attacks and certain surgical procedures including reattachment of severed limbs and digits. More advanced medical procedures may be performed manually and are limited by the wearer's knowledge of medicine. Pre-Crisis, a wearer could instantaneously reinvigorate limbs that had not been used in years, so someone bedridden for years could walk as though their muscles had not atrophied.
        Virtual shape-shifting by generating a hard-light holographic disguise around the ring bearer.
        "Digitizing" the wearer to absorb them into the ring where they can live in a wearer-generated "world" of their own nearly indefinitely.
        Pre-Crisis, a ring could alter a being's molecular size (including shrinking to an atomic level), evolutionary stage (such as turning a target human into an ape), or distort specific targeted areas of the body (slowing the Flash down by making his upper torso too large for him to run).
        Pre-Crisis, a wearer could animate non-living matter and make the target do whatever is willed.
        Pre-Crisis, the rings could create a construct of a ring that a "non-Lantern" could use for 4 hours at a time (as opposed to 24) without a great effort of will.
        Pre-Crisis, a ring could create multiple copies of its wearer if certain conditions were met; each copy had the capabilities of the original wearer.
        In Green Lantern: First Flight Sinestro was able to "reconnect synapses" in the brain of a dead criminal in order to extract information via a kind of guided discussion.
Weaknesses:
The upper limits of the power ring's abilities remain undefined, and it has been referred to as "the most powerful weapon in the universe" on more than one occasion. It has also been stated that every weapon has a weakness and the weakness a Green Lantern ring has is its wearer (though some argue that this is its strength). Across the years, the rings have been shown capable of accomplishing almost anything within the imagination of the ring bearer. Stories in 2006 reconnected the ring's long-established ineffectiveness on yellow objects, stating that the ring-wielder need only feel fear, understand it and overcome it in order to affect yellow objects (however, it is a learned and practiced ability, making it a weakness to some Green Lanterns), giving retroactive credence to the explanation of the ring's real but surmountable weakness to yellow.
History:
The Green Lantern Oath:
“
    In brightest day, in blackest night,
    No evil shall escape my sight
    Let those who worship evil's might,
    Beware my power... Green Lantern's light!
   ”
Hal Jordan was born in Coast City on February the 20th, to parents Martin Jordan and Jessica Jordan, the middle of three children with older brother Jack and a younger brother Jim. As a young child, he idolized his father, a test pilot who worked for Ferris Aircraft. At a very young age, he had to face his greatest fears when his father died in a plane crash. Despite his family's wishes, he followed in his father's footsteps and eventually joined the United States Air Force as soon as he was eligible.
Many years later, a dying alien named Abin Sur who had been a member of the Green Lantern Corps crash-landed his ship in the Californian desert. Selecting a replacement officer for his position, the power ring chose Hal Jordan for his ability to overcome great fear. The ring and its abilities were explained to him, and he inherited the mantle of Green Lantern. Acting as a galactic police officer, it was his job to serve and protect all life in Sector 2814. He would soon learn that there were another 3600 Green Lanterns across the universe, all monitored and empowered by mystical creatures called the Guardians.
Hal received training from some of the best the Corps had to offer, including drill sergeant Kilowog, and his mentor Sinestro. While training, he learned that Sinestro has been subjugating his home planet, Korugar with his ring, through fear. He reported these acts to the Guardians and to his own fellow Corps about this. He then battled Sinestro, and was victorious, and then, along with the rest of the Corps, testified against him at his trial. Sinestro was expelled from the Corps and banished to the Antimatter Universe by the Guardians as punishment, finally becoming a sworn enemy of the Corps and then got a new Qward power ring, beginning his revenge.
As Green Lantern, he patrolled the galaxy and went on many missions in space. He continued to spend his time at home working at Ferris Aircraft, where he romantically pursued his boss, the lovely Carol Ferris. He would entrust his secrets to a young eskimo lad who worked as his mechanic, Tom Kalmaku.
Green Lantern was one of the founding members of the Justice League of America, along with the Flash, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter and of course, Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. This group first banded together when they met to fight Appellaxians invading the planet, and realized that they worked much stronger as a team than any of them could have individually.
Recently, the attack of Earth by Darkseid and his army had been stopped only at great cost:the death of Green Lantern in the process, even though his body was never retrieved, and the disbanding of the Justice League along with the decision of various heroes to follow a darker, more realistic and less idealistic path.
For now, Darkseid has been defeated and imprisonned inside the Source Wall. The re-awakening of Hal Jordan is a mystery to all, including himself, one that he wishes to solve.
Activity:
Hal Jordan is awakening right now, and has not participated in any activity after his 'death'.
-Sinestro,
-Star Sapphire,
-Black Hand,
-Nekron,
-Manhunters,
-Parallax,
I have noted it and tried to work around an idea that I liked, that was to bring him back. The circumstances of this event would be to discover and could be interesting for the rpg.
QuoteRecently, the attack of Earth by Darkseid and his army had been stopped only at great cost:the death of Green Lantern in the process, even though his body was never retrieved, and the disbanding of the Justice League along with the decision of various heroes to follow a darker, more realistic and less idealistic path.
However, I realize this will not fit into your ST and will not insist. I will not take another member's character either, who had chosen Green Lantern before me.
Thanks for your input.
VoluptuousVixen
Well guys, weve been waiting for Kyles player to post for awhile now. So I think Hal can come back, yes hi death shatterd the league but the cracks were allready there, how many times have they broken up only to get back together? Same as how many heroes have returned from the Dead?  mainsnoires I want him to play Green lantern Hal beacuse I think he`l do a good job with him.
Its going to be dramtic when he shows up and sees what happend after his death. Kinda like our version of the Justice League toon where Flash (Wally West) realised hi death caused the creation of the Justice Lords in an alternate timeline.
Im sure mainsnoires can write that conflict and Hal`s guilt well. Pluse how can his fellow leagures look him in the face? He will be a reminder of what they USED to be. That will Sting a great deal.
Now here`s a bombshell, I have to leave town (london) for two months. Im a stage Manager and just been given a job on the road with an Agatha Christi Play here in the UK. SO, im not going to have internet access. ALTHOUGH my phone has an internet connection but I need to go into an Phone hop and get the Adult lock taken off, once its taken off I can post again on E.
Its so frustrateing as otherwise I could post to you guys. So although il have my laptop with me it could be a couple  weeks (knowing my luck) before I A) Get time to go into a phone shop B) For whaterver they need to do to unlock my phone so  can access this websight.
So here`s the plan.
I wan`t  you guys as a whole Group to keep this game Alive for me! As Its so much fun reading youre work.
So please Temp Wonder Woman and Oracle. Our heroes are now in Metropolis so lets get this action started.
Jmorty33,
Ghostraven,
dvalen,
elven sex goddess,
kalthus63,
dark clown,
jdrew spider,
NosCorventius,
There are enough of you to hold the game together while im absent. (Il try my bestist to be no longer then two weeks)
Please DONT LET IT DIE!!!!!!!!
mainsnoires WELCOME as Green Lantern, Hal jordan
And WELCOME Novak as oliver Queen/Green Arrow.
mainsnoires Im gonng to ask you to think up a plausable reason for Hal`s death and subsiquent Return.
And If we get a Kylen/Green Lantern suddenly posting thats OK too. e can have more then one GL in the Team. Mabye one of them gets a new codename, just like the comics.
As for Oliver Queen, he payed to have the Metropolis Watchtower Fitted as Babs/Oracle stated so mabye its HIM who wants to bring the band back together!!!
My Mod when im gone is gonig to be NosCorventius, Im looking forward to seeing youre version of Martin Manhunter soon.
As far as a team we have Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Green lantern (Hal), BLack Canary, Doctor Fate, lady BlackHawk, Raven, Martin Manhunter, Batgirl, Green Arrow and hopefully another Green Lantern. Thats a great line up of heroes!!!
Id say they all shouldstorm Luthorcorpe and fight off some of Lex`s roboty creations. hehe. Well thats just a suggestion.
Please make sure members dont get left out in the Cold and feel free to move around Wonder Woman and Oracle. Just dont kill them and have them engagein sexy time (Im saveing myself to write those bits)
As for Artemis Dont owrry about her il deal with her when I get back.
Any questions? i dont leave till Saturday evening so I can check sometime tommorrow.
So any questions ask me while im still here.
Mr Self Destruct
The entire reason for Hal's death was to darken the League and its outlook on life.  And suddenly, he's back? I'm sorry, but I can't do that.  Sure, heroes come back all the time in the comics, but for this storyline, Hal should stay dead.  Otherwise, it takes the punch out of why the team has become what they are now.
Jmorty33
#165
I agree with Dark, it would kill the whole reason why they broke up. Plus Hal has already been brought back once, it would seem to ruin continuity if we resurect a hero twice when every other one got only one.
Ghostraven
I have to agree with Jmorty33 & Dark Clown, I don't think that Hal should come back form the dead. We haven't even actually reformed the league yet.
His sudden return would just undermine the Idea that the story was predicated on.
VoluptuousVixen
Ok, Well im not a God-mod so im listening to what you guys are saying. Hal needs to stay dead. So I sent mainsnoires a list of Available Heroes to choose From. Aqua-Man, Aqua-Boy, Cyborge, Nightwing, Beast Boy, Hawkman, Captain Marvel, Captain Atom, Animal Man, plastic Man, The Flash and Superboy for example. Hmmm Mabye Guy Gardner too, he`s allways fun to have around.
Im gonig to post tonight as Wonder Woman/oracle. Im gonig to kinda Write oracle going away on her own mission.
BUT she`s left Lady Blackhawk in charge of Watchtower. SO you guys can allways use it as a place to meet.
Please make sure no one gets left out in the Cold. Batman, Lady Blackwak...anyone really...
And just so we are clear I hinted the Old Watchtower is now been bought and payed for by Oliver Queen.
SO mabye thats a good way to bring him in  too. I imagen him and Babs went over all the security codes etc.
I defo think everyone is gonig to be seeing whats gonig down at LuthorCorpe and findeing out what Lex`s up to. Anyway Il be on later to tie up some threads. Im defiantly back with net connection on the 6th of june cos im back home. But then im going to see if I can get my I phone sorted out so I can access Elliquiy, its got sum adult lock thingy on which is annoynig.
Anyway all of you take care and keep playing.
NosCorventius
Glad to help out and watch this for you sweetie. I've just finish my manhunter profile so I'll be working on getting a post for Lex and Jonn in tommorow as well as making a few changes to ease up game play and help in orginization. For now however I'm of to another bit of work. The job.
JDrew Spider
My fingers are itching for action!
You guys are probably wondering...where'd she come from. Anywho Nos if you need any help, I gotcha!
Now that the gangs in metropolis Canary did mention paying Lex Corp a visit, base of operations (which I guess will be Barbs new joint, and putting people on active duty).
I'm ready!
Sorry all for the delay on this I'm trying to get my writing done between work shifts but it's proving difficult. Got pulled down to the school today to deal with kids issues so wasn't able to finish my post and now I've run out of time again. Hoping to finish things though tommorrow morning.
I have to be away for about a week for some family things that have come up. I apologize for the short notice .
I'll do a short post and have Raven head to the west coast and the Titans while I'm gone. If you should need to use her for something for the story please do. :-)
Something to add to your bookmarks people. The Justice League: Case Files I've built a thread for approved character sheets. I'll be adding them myself so please don't rush over to post them as I want to keep the area as uniform as possible and I still have some tweaking to do before I'll be happy with it.
I'll be using the Case files are to keep a running summary of our game and keep a running toll of who is active (Full-time members), on leave (Part-time members), approved but hasn't posted (Alternates), and who is still awaiting approval (Under Consideration.)
After putting everything together I am also realising how few villians our legion has. For you that wish to play bad guys please put them together so I can approve them. I will be putting together a recruitment thread together as well tomorrow specifically for villians so if there is someone your twitching to play better get your name in first. Remember any villain that has been a member of the Legion of Doom, The Masters of Evil, the Rogues Gallery(Batman or Flash), or has appeared in Teen Titans, Smallville, JLU, Young Justice, or is listed in another players known enemies, other than Darkseid and his henchmen/women, is fair game. So let's see what you got.
I realize that this is a superhero sim but Elliquiy is also an adult writing site with the expectation of sex.  I really don't want to wait months down the road before anything happens, so I'm wondering really if I'm wasting my time or what?  Just being honest and forthright.
Novak
If that's what you are interested in the RP PM a member that you would like to engage in a sex scene with and set it up.  It hasn't happened yet, but I have PM'd a member and are going to work them into at least a fling together.  In my experience unless you agree to work in a sexual situation you may wait a while in superhero based RPs.
ColdBloodedJellyDoughnut
Hey there. I heard you guys were short of villains. I was thinking of a couple I could do, and see which one you guys think would fit best into the storyline.
I really like Harley Quinn (like everyone does) and I think that would be a cool dynamic with the Joker. And it's kind of obvious that she would be there, because even though she follows Joker around she can mastermind her own plots. http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Harleen_Quinzel_(New_Earth)
Another idea was Lady Shiva, as representative of the League of Assassins. She's a bit of a flip-flopper in terms of her status as villain, but she's a cool character. I think I could do her justice. http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Sandra_Wu-San_(New_Earth)
Another two ideas were Circe, or Amazing Grace (as Darkseid's agent) but those are just ideas.
Tell me what you think!
NosCorventius
while I adore Harley and think she is both one of the greatest and sexiest villianess ever created I worry you'r going to end up limiting yourself quite a bit by tying yourself in to the Joker. My vote is that you bring lady Shiva and the league of Assassins to the board room.
Novak
I was leaning towards Quinn at first, I'm not gonna lie I think the clown is sexy.  Then I was leaning towards Amazing Grace, as it would tie in with her being a disciple of Darkseid.  But Lady Shiva and the league of assassins leaves a wide open opportunity for Ras and or Talia being introduced down the line.
So I vote for Amazing Grace or Lady Shiva.
NosCorventius
Some things to consider if you do choose a Henchman/Henchwoman of Darkseid as your character there are a few probable consequences.
1. Not even the other membersof the legion of doom will "trust" you as Darkseid kills without caring whether your Freind or foe only wether you were born a highbreed on Apokolips or not. Anyone or anything that is/was not is inferior and is to be enslave or destroyed. His henchmen, even if they personaly diagree would be treated as if they are fanatics, eliteists, and traitors. basically you woulld be a villian even amongst vilians.
2. They will be cut off from Apokolipis and Darkseid completly. No one is coming to aid you not now, possibly not ever.
#. As the next best thing to Darkseid himself every hero will ptobably attack you on sight and not just attack you but pass up other targets to get to you.
NosCorventius
#179
Sorry about the double post but, I figure this way at least I can guarantee you all will see it. I've finished updating The Justice League: Case Files Thread so please take a look and tell me what you think. A couple of notes before you do though.
1. I have a couple of people I am going to be sending PM's too because I realised while moving their CS that some areas are missing so if you don't see your Sheet your probably getting mail immediately following this post.
2. You may notice that the end result looks a little different from the character sheets originally posted. I cleaned some things up and moved bits and pieces around to make them easier to read and more uniform in appearance. I did a minimum of editing though so your characters are still yours in everyway. I also added Pics to some that had none included. I did this for ease of reference for any new players we get who want to know who's taken already as well ass as ease of finding characters info later. I tried my best to match pics with the descriptions given in those few cases I found it necessary. If you absolutely hate my choices let me know and I will gladly substitute whatever pic you would prefer to use in it's place.
3.The Story is broken up into L.O.D and J.L.A. Sections for a reason please keep what your characters know separate from what you as a player know. Also I will be using Barbara Gordon/Oracle and Lex Luthor to narrate in the Case files thread. This is done because they are the respective info gatherers of their teams. (They also are both being controlled by GMs which makes it easy) Please realize however that Luthor may get offensive at times when talking about other characters of both teams, just as Barbara may heated in her feelings or disgust. Either way this is a game people just because the Narrator is talking trash about your character is no reason to get huffy and try and pick a fight. It's not my intention her either BTW, I am merely using it as a way to effectively present info in a game tied and exciting way. Please don't take it personal if I call your character names, I really don't mean it eve if Luthor or Babs does.
4. I'm only human, despite my sometime claims to the contrary, If I messed something up or missed something let me know so I can fix it ASAP.
~Nos~
ColdBloodedJellyDoughnut
Amazing Grace is a master manipulator. She would probably keep her nature as Darkseid's second in command to herself. See how things play out.
But I get your point. I was leaning more towards Shiva myself.
Mr Self Destruct
Nos, your last post as Lex Luthor spoke of him knowing where Superman was going to come to Earth.  Likewise, your post with the Martian Manhunter had him/her heading to outer space to meet up with Superman.  However, I had posted Superman's return, and had him heading to Metropolis after leaving a large S burnt into the side of Mount Rushmore.
That post is here:
https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=104702.msg4651870#msg4651870
I figured that would be a pretty good billboard to announce his return. lol  In my latest post, I had Supes seeing J'onn coming his way and pausing in flight to speak with him.
NosCorventius
so you did i must have missed it somehow. I'll edit both posts so things match up. though it looks like I'll have to excellerate our meeting as well so that we can ambush Supes.
Mr Self Destruct
No worries, man.  I figured I should mention it so that things didn't go too far and get all muddled. lol  The ambushing of Supes could also be a catalyst for the League to reform, since most of the heroes are now in Metropolis.  A big fight to draw everyone back together would work out quite well, I think! :)
NosCorventius
As do I, in fact I'm writing the big reveal as we speak, err...type?!, Whichever. I hope you will all like it.
Fightingfaithless
I just want to check, because this group looks pretty full, but are you all still accepting applications?
If so the question I have is I see a trend where it looks like when you apply for a hero you apply for a villain as well, is this true?
NosCorventius
Right now we are really looking for Villians. We have a lot of heroes but most of our villians have fallen away. So come join the Darkside. We have cookies.
Fightingfaithless
Oh well that sounds wonderful. Now since you said this what is the evil side looking like? Is it more male to female or the oppsite? Don't want to flood the dark side with women or men.
NosCorventius
https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=108049.0 you can find almost weverything here. I need to add the latest entries in but it's pretty well up to speed. Right now it's even with Lex, joker, The Countessa, and Artemis. being our only active villians. I'll be bringing in Mercy Graves with my next post as an NPC and I've made mention of Clayface though no one has yet picked him up as a Character. Feel free to pick him/her/it up if you'd like or to find someone else that you'd like to play. We're using the extended rosters here so pretty much any villian in the DC universe barring some cosmicly powered beings like Darkseid and his minions are free game.
NosCorventius
Double posting to make you all aware of some new threads:
First, a new more official gathering place for us all The New JLA OCC and CC Thread. Now we have a place to discuss ideas, find partners and playmates for side scenes and erotic interactions, and generally chat about the who, what, where, whys, and hows; of The DCU and our RPG in general. Announcements, such as this one, will also be made in the OCC from here on out.
Second, As promised, I have put together a thread specifically to recruit Villains to our game. I am optimistic that the responses will be good. However if you have anyone you think might be interested personally in playing a villain as well I would urge you to point the in our direction as well.
~Nos~
I do plan on joining the game, however this week is a busy one, but hopefully the week after I will be ready to join up.
This came up a few months back,  the answer was/is no,  as there is still plenty of DC universe canon characters to work with.
