Somehow I completely missed that there's an army doctor in town already. I wouldn't want to intrude, will have a think if I can come up with something else.

A second doctor wouldn't be intruding.  Competition yes but intrusion no.

If you still want to play a doctor, I would have no issues with somebody being there to push Nathaniel.  It would certainly provide interesting RP opportunities.

Thanks for telling me, That's so nice! I was also considering maybe creating a mayor? I'm not sure if that's allowed though.i know there's one in Godless but I've not actually watched the series yet.

I'm not playing a canon character.  You don't need to either.  Why not submit a profile for the mayor?

In the show, the former Mayor's wife has more or less informally taken over that responsibility, such a character would definitely fit into our game.
