NCH Small Groups: Esher Chronicles

Well, it's time once again for me to get the urge to run something, and so I've been putting together some Elluiki pages to do all the talking for me.

This contains the main info, and also has links to some of the other stuff. Note the introduction and the bit on what you'll be doing. So basically I'd like up to half a dozen players, maximum, who'd like to play as the sexy young ladies of House Esher (or the other options listed).

You can all be in a gang together, pooling your resources and looking out for each other, or you can have individual games or whatever, I don't mind. Note that I'll often try to soften the results of things - less "You die." and more "You are captured", likewise such things won't just be "you lose 100 credits as your team bails you out", they become fun things to roleplay, with the possible interrogations and so forth.

I can't adequately express just how nice it is to have a straightforward wiki for this thread.  I didn't have to go hunt down a book, but I think I have an adequate grasp of the situation and the system after just a few minutes to be able to say "yes, I can handle this."

I've got a couple ideas for characters, and will send them your way.

Or, ah, I guess I could have just said, "yes, I want in" ;)

It's been quite some time, so I think I might just bump this now - we have one player interested, and I'd like a few more. If you're only sort-of interested, tell me what you don't like and how I could make it better!

This system feels a lot like that Dark Heresy system that Chris Brady tried to start up quite a while ago.

A few people have tried Dark Heresy, but it has suffered from a terrible curse.

That being said, this is basically Necromunda, which is set in the same setting as DH (Warhammer 40K), and is sort of the pre-cursor - it was originally a table-top war game but with small teams of individual characters, with XP and storylines.
