Hi there, Recently as in today firefox updated to version 3.6.2 , short of uninstalling it is there a way I can get the shoutbox to show again at the top of the page.

Hi there, Recently as in today firefox updated to version 3.6.2 , short of uninstalling it is there a way I can get the shoutbox to show again at the top of the page.

I've updated and it's working fine for me -

Is there a white arrowhead pointing down at the top right corner of the page (to the far right of where the you have so many messages bit is) - if so, click that and see if it fixes the issue.

Kip I will try to explain what I see at the top.

Far right hand shows an up arrow, the space next to that is just white.   The submit button shows but that is all.

Even clicking on the larger version of chat gives the outside but does not seem like it is properly connecting to it.

Alright so some checks done with Night Stalker -

Logging out and clearing cookies/passwords didn't help.
Cache has been cleaned since the issue occured.
Minimising/Maximising the SB doesn't change anything.

No access restrictions in place that I can see.
Looking at the Ajax user list shows that Night is not logged in at all before or after the above.

I did the same firefox update and it didn't alter anything for me.

So... I'm out of ideas... any other help/suggestions for Night would be great.

Edit : the text box (send line) is there but nothing else.

Edit Edit : It also works fine in Google Chrome for Night.

Probably a broken plugin of some sort preventing Javascript from executing on the page (and thus loading it). If you can't adjust his ons/offs or flip the shoutbox closed/open, that's also a clue.

Javascript can only run after the entire site is 'loaded', so bad plugins, loads of images, etc. will break things.
