Our characters have been best friends most of their lives.  YC is in love with mine, but doesn't have the guts to tell him.  YC grows more mentally unstable as the years go by.  What really sets him off is MC proposes to his girlfriend.  YC decides if he can't have my guy, no one can, so he kidnaps him.
