In the years following the nuclear cataclysm known as 'The Third', biological and radiological fallout began to spread a blight across the ragaved planet, giving birth to the monsterous Strangebeasts known as the Yoju. With civilization laying decimated, only six supercities remain as the last bastion of hope for humanity. These supercities, or Polis', are beseiged daily by the hideous Yoju, who use human females to reproduce, and spread their taint.

With all hope lost, the Police Department within one such Polis, Sophiapolis, formed a branch of para-military soldiers to combat the Yoju threat. Cybernetically enhanced, the women chosen for the Biosoldier project were turned into the worst nightmare for the Yoju. These soldiers, these Biosoldiers formed the Anti-Yoju organization, the Anti-Strangebeast Special Police, or A.S.S.P.

In the waning days of 2048, three years after The Third, the Yoju retreated for the Polis', and humanity looked forward to a time of peace. But with the ever-present threat of the Yoju looming above humanity's head, the A.S.S.P. readied, waited for a time when they would be needed again.

The year is now 2050. The Yoju have returned. And the A.S.S.P. will stand ready.

Okay, so, yea, that's the backstory to this little project. Based off the PC hentai game 'Pretty Soldier Wars; AD 2048', the RP picks up where the (admittedly horrible) game left off. Set two years after Pretty Soldier Wars (Abbreiviated PSW from here-on out.), the premise is the Yoju have begun to show themselves once more in new, terrifying ways. As a newly trained Human or Biosoldier member of the A.S.S.P., you and your squad must work together to stop the Yoju threat, and maybe find some terrible information about the fate of the rest of the world.

If you haven't played PSW (Which I can guarentee most of you haven't), no biggie. You won't loose much, and frankly, you're not missing out. If you have, and you share my view of the game, you may enjoy this.

As far as how this RP will pan out, it will use a system (Which I'm almost done working out), whereas it will be broken into two major parts: Combat and Extracurricular. Due to the slow-pace of Forum-Based Role Plays, it will utilize some time skipping, but I can go into more detail about that later.

What I want to know is, who here would be interested in at least seeing if this is something that could work. As far as player number is concerned, the Original PSW gave you eight soldiers, so that's the number I'm shooting for. If I could get (at the minimum) six people to try it, I think we can get something good.

I will continue to work on the system, and try it out in a hypothetical sense, and keep everyone posted.

Mystic Mika

I wouldn't mind playing a pretty soldier fighting terrible monsters that need me to reproduce  ;). But in all honesty, it sounds interesting so count me in when you are ready
The difference between saving the world and blowing it up is all in the toss of the dice.

Nyarly

A hentai-like RP about a group of female soldiers fighting monsters? Now that sounds interesting...

I've never played a system game here before but I'm sure interested in it.

Hi

This looks like an interesting idea. Is having very little knowledge of hentai a drawback? These monsters, are they sort of tentacle things or roughly humanoid or a mixture? The idea of it being a system game is kind of cool, would that mean that the player wouldn't actually know when their character might fail a roll and get caught?

Xenolord

Glad to see a few people showing interest in this. Just about finished writing up all the documentation.

To Polymorph: No, I wouldn't say having little knowledge of Hentai is a drawback. I'll pretty much walk people through what they don't know that they need to, so inexperience is no problem. As to the question of the Yoju, there's many types of Yoju, some humanoid, and others more of a monsterous form. So the answer to that question is both. As to the rolls, I'm using a system I'm kind of making up as I go along, and there are very few rolls to it. But as to the question of getting caught, the Yoju typically don't catch targets, when there's more then one, and Biosoldiers are immune, so... I suppose the easiest thing to say is 'Everything will be explained in due time'.

Xenolord

Okaysoyea, system needs some work. And by 'some' I mean gratuitous amounts. More then I'm willing to make while this withers, SO, having said that, I'll simply put together a rough (Emphasis on rough) character sheet for peeps, and we can start, if peeps are still interested.

Alrighty, since we gots 3 peeps semi excited about this, I'mma gonna throw this out. Fill it out, and post it here, I'll have OOC up in a day or so.

Name: (Remember, Biosoldiers are only female, and have only one name.)
Age: (20 and up only, please.)
Type: (Human, BS0, or BS1 Model Biosoldier. I'll clarify this in a bit.)
Hair Color:
Eye Color:
Height:
Weight:
Mutations: (If you choose to become a BS1 Model, you must choose at least three mutations to take. They can be anything from hair color changes, to elf ears, to a deathly visage. The possibilites are as varied as the Yoju themselves. Please refrain from any changes some would consider extreme *Futanari, extra limbs, extra eyes, strange growths on the body, et cetera.*)
Background: (What your character did before joining the A.S.S.P., or before The Third, depending on age. Remember, The Third was five years ago. THis can be ANYTHING, but if it's obscure, seek GM approval.)
Personality: (What kind of person your character is. Kind, caring, ruthless, et cetera.)
Preferred Weapon Type: (Pistol, rifle, assault rifle, et cetera. Nothing too large, please. Also, take into consideration ammunition. Small weapons can have more clips then larger ones can. If it's a melee weapon, specifiy if it's High-Frequency [H-F] or not. High-Frequency weapons deal considerably more damage to the Yoju, but are consequently heavier and more clumsy to use.)
Preferred Range: (Should match weapon range. Ranged weapons should have this as Ranged, and Melee should have this as Melee.)
Off-Duty Outfit: (What your character wears when they're off duty. And yes, include underwear, or I'll assume they like going commando.)
On-Duty Outfit: (What your character wears when they're on duty. And yes, include underwear, or I'll assume they like going commando.)
Armor: (The kind of armor your character wears. Anything from a composite alloy breastplate, to a suit of armor made from thin tank armor is allowed. No power armor. Yet. Keep in mind, heavier armor will prevent you from dodging attacks easily. I want realism here. If you're wearing tank armor, no epic barrel rolls to avoid damage. You're on your honor.)
Mental Stability: (A number between 1 and 10 showing how mentally stable your character is. This number, added to Likability, must add up to, but cannot exceed, 11.)
Likability: (A number between 1 and 10 showing how likable your character is. This number, added to Mental Stability, must add up to, but cannot exceed, 11.)
Confirmed Kills: (Set at 0 to begin with. Will increase.)
Experience: (Set to 100 to begin with. Will increase. Used for promotions.)
Money: (Set to 1000 to begin with. Will increase. Used to purchase weapons and ammo.)

A Note on Types: There are, currently, three types of soldiers in the service of the A.S.S.P. BS0 Model Biosoldiers; women who have been cybernetically enhanced to allow for greater damage capability, but have forgotten what it means to be human; BS1 Model Biosoldiers, who have undergone a process known as the Transfusion, to infuse Yoju blood cells into their bodies, turning them into effective Anti-Yoju units, but lacking the durability of the older BS0 Models, and Humans, regular, average Janes who would rather die then be Yoju play time.

If you choose to become Human, your character pans out exactly as you have her. If you choose to become a BS0 Model, you will be able to wear and use different equipment, but won't be as socially apt as others. If you choose to become a BS1 Model, you gain benefits of both Humans and BS0 Models, but gain mutations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Nyarly

I'm still interested and may post a character soon (it's not unlikely that it will be tomorrow).  It'll probably be a BS1 model with cat features.

However I have a few questions:
1. When does a BS1 get the injections? Do they lead an ordinary live until then?
2. Are there special uniforms?
3. The total of the Mental Stability added with the Likability must be exactly 11. Is that right?

Xenolord

Glad to see you're still interested, Nyarly. Lemme answer your questions.

1: A BS1 Model Biosoldier begins life just as a normal human would. After going through the nessecary military training, they undergo the Transfusion, to become a BS1. Yes, until military training, they lead normal lives.

2: Yes, and no. There is an A.S.S.P. Uniform, two, to be exact, which I will work on getting pictures of. But you don't have to wear them all the time. They're more of an official thing.

3: Yes. You're right. It's to prevent people from having a 10 Mental Stability, and a 10 Likability. Keeps things a little fair, ya know.

I thought about making a futa myself...

Two weeks ago, before joining E, I barely knew what a futanari was XD

Before we get too far, lemme help ya'll...

That's the cover from the Original Pretty Soldier Wars (The game this one's based from) Front center we see Marie, wearing the Soldier varient of the A.S.S.P Uniform. Just behind her is Misa, wearing the Junior Officer (The kinda white and tan one.) varient. You can choose either, but uniform doesn't affect rank.

Picture order, from 12 o clock, clockwise is: Reiko Kirihara, Misa, MV-11, Ayumi, Mikako, Alpha, Saeko, Haruka and Marie. Get used to them. Some of them will make an appearance in this one. I'll try to get individual shots of them in the Character Roster.

*Raises finger to speak, but really doesn't want to dash hopes...*

Sorry to burst bubbles but... let's stay away from futa for a bit... That would be one hell of a mutation, and would honestly be more of a radiation thing, then a Transfusion thing. I will allow the spike on the forearms, so long as they're small, and I'll allow the tongue, but not the sting. That would be a danger to your teammates, more then the Yoju. When I meant mutations, and I should have specified this, and I'm sorry, I meant smaller... less glaringly obvious changes. Sorry if it bursts bubbles. The rest of your character sheet I'm cool with, Poly, just those two tings.

Okay, I'll admit it, I didn't think the mutation thing through terribly well, and I apologize. Lemme go back and fix it...

EDIT: Here's the game's review from J-List, as well as character bios, so you can see what their uniforms look like: http://www.jlist.com/PRODUCT/gc029

The Blue uniform is the basic A.S.S.P. uniform. The tan and white one denoutes Junior Officer, and the White and Black one denotes Human Soldier. Of course, you can just choose favorites.

Hm... I think, I saw ads for that on danbooru...

Anyway, I'm not done with my character yet. Could be that I won't post her until tomorrow.

EDIT: I still could finish it today:

Name: Rina
Age: 22
Type: BS1 Model Biosoldier
Hair Color: Blue
Eye Color: Blue
Height: 1,78m
Weight: I'm unsure about that.
Mutations: cat ears, cat tail, slitted pupils, fur on some parts of her body
Background: Was a pretty ordinary student, who initially aspired to become an athlete before she changed her mind and became a soldier of the A.S.S.P.
Personality: playful, energetic, naughty
Preferred Weapon Type: Metal Claws
Preferred Range: Melee
Off-Duty Outfit: white tank top, pink hotpants and panties, white/pink sneakers
On-Duty Outfit: basic blue A.S.S.P. uniform
Armor: Just composite alloy breastplate, she relies more on her dexterity than on her armor.
Mental Stability: 5
Likability: 6
Confirmed Kills: 0
Experience: 100
Money: 1000

Xenolord

Hey, Nyarly, when you say Metal Claws, do you mean like... katars, or like a wrist mounted blade thingy, or like... a gauntlet. It's okay to have, I just need a little more information to what it actually is.

And I accept your character.

OOC Thread is up here:https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=81910.0. So, feel free to post there, too.

Hrm, any chance of someone joining this late? As an aside, I have played the game, both the original and the PC remake (original was on the pc98 I believe?)
