(If you spoil the last book I will murder your neck off!)

With the last book already out in The Wheel of Time series, it is about time for me to unleash another naughty idea in my head. Basically the same world as before but 500 or so years in the past so we just ignore all of the end of the world nonsense. Where the female players will be the Aes Sedai, along with any guys that want to show up to be their wardens. We could also some players that are novices or accepted, that get forced into lesbian situations by their elders. Which ever.

For those who have not read the books, this is the general idea. In this world, only females can use "magic", which is called channeling, without going insane. Men who can channel all eventually go insane from their magic and are either killed or imprisoned and brought to the Aes Sedai so they can be cut off from the One Power (which is basically the same as castrating a dog).

The Aes Sedai govern on their own large island that splits a major river in two, called Tar Valon. On that island is the White Tower, which is the largest building in the world after the breaking 3000 years ago. The Aes Sedai are governed by a oligarchy where their leader, The Amyrlin, is elected by the hall, which is made out of leaders from the 7 Ajahs.

The Ajahs are essentially political parties within the tower that spend their time bickering with each other and back stabbing each other. Naturally anyone who wants to be a Aes Sedai has to pick her color:

Blue Ajah: Political manipulators and spies. They go about starting movements and causes across the continent from the background, letting others do all of the dirty work and trying to influence kingdoms to their will. They have the best spy network out of the 7 ajahs but are rather small compared to the others.

Green Ajah: Amazon bitches. They love to fight and see themselves as defenders of the light and always on guard against the Dark One. They naturally are the best with offensive channeling and are allowed to have multiple warders, whom they marry more often then not. (Horray for polygamy!)

Grey Ajah: Diplomats. Nuff said.

Brown Ajah: Librarians.

Yellow Ajah: Healers. Are naturally best with healing channeling.

White Ajah: Emotionless logic machines.

Red Ajah: Men haters. They are the Ajah that hunt down male channelers and bring them back to the tower to be severed from the true source. That naturally gives them a rather pessimistic viewpoint of men over all, which is why they do not have warders.

The twist comes from one of you experimenting with a new weave and accidentally summoning a girl from the United States. Which will be a rather large culture shock for everyone involved, along with how the new girl having massive magical potential and how everyone wants to gain her favor and turn her into a Aes Sedai. Which gives the rest of you plenty to scheme and plot over over everything else that happens in the tower.

Since it is always important to have some plot mixed in with the naughty.

I may be interested, if styles match up and if the general crew will have me (to adopt a rather common liege etc. flag there).  I read the books a long time ago -- well, the first five or six I think? -- but don't remember very much beyond some generalities by now.  So, as long as detailed world history and fine technicalities aren't usually required.

Curious about this Earth gal since she seems to be the most visible news of the world, as yet...  Will you be playing her, or is she up for grabs?  It will be interesting to see what she makes of the situation, perhaps obviously.  And whether she immediately has, or perhaps rapidly comes up with some political agenda of her own.

I will probably be playing the earth girl since she is driving the plot and I do a better job controlling it. I would be playing the Amyrlin from the background and not letting her crowd out the other players too. Just in case she needs to issue commands and blah blah.

So are the males basically just guards to the ajah?  I noticed that Green Ajah, the fighters, have the most wardens, despite the least apparent need for them.  In their case, are the wardens kind of a personal army and the Ajah a commander?  I've never read the series.

If you read like the first half of The New Spring prequel you'll get an idea of how the Aes Sedai social order works.

Hm, I may have to join in on this.  No idea what kind of character I'd be playing, though.

I'm assuming that the novels and series itself don't actually exist in the world she comes from, right?

Naturally. That would create a quantum loop feedback and kill everyone and everything.
