Teachers Who Explain Condom Use Could Go To Jail

This is just ridiculous, and the fact that it's happening anywhere in the U.S., let alone in my home state, is mind-boggling.  I will proudly say that I'm Christian, and I will be the first person to say that kids should be taught about contraceptives and safe sex once they hit about 15 or 16.  Not starting sex at all until you're married is obviously the safest route, but if and when they choose to become sexually active, they need to know what the options are for preventing pregnancy and keeping their bodies healthy.  If that information isn't available, and kids become sexually active, then yes, there *will* be an increase in teen pregnancy.  You need to be proactive about it rather than just jamming your fingers in your ears and screaming "I don't hear you!"  It's nonsense.
